“Invincible” by Skillet hits and pyro flies as WPWA Excellence is coming to you live from the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah!

Shane McMahon-Don’t adjust your TV sets folks, a new era of professional wrestling is upon us, as this is the debut episode of World Professional Wrestling Alliance’s Excellence brand here on Saturday night. Get accustomed to it folks, as I Shane-O-Mac will be calling the action each week and sitting at my side will be none other than…

JBL-The Wrestling GOD turned Commentating GOD, John Bradshaw Layfield. You are a typical McMahon, hogging all the spotlight, when a legend, no wait a God like myself should be the focal point. But you do have one thing right McMahon, tonight is the beginning of a new era and it will be the era in which Excellence remains supreme.

Shane McMahon-Here he comes John, a man that we both have history with, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels! Can’t imagine what Shawn has on his mind.

Shawn Michaels-Man it is great to be back.

*Thank you Shawn chants rain throughout the EnergySolutions Arena*

Shawn Michaels-And you thought I’d stay away forever. Guess again. You can’t keep the Heartbreak Kid away from the thing that brought him the most joy and the most pain in my life. Don’t get your hopes up though; there will be no chance of me stepping back into the squared circle. I’m here for one reason and one reason alone and that is to run the show. I’m gonna bring you people a show that exists everyone and anyone. Now lets get down to business. We have four championships here. The Intercontinental, the X-Division, the World Tag Team, and the Hardcore championship. Now I have a mind in the back that knows Hardcore more than me. He is more than just my backstage interviewer. Joey Styles, my boy you are going to be my Hardcore commissioner.

JBL-What the hell is wrong with Shawn Michaels. Why on God’s green Earth would he put that little arrogant runt, Joey Styles in charge of something as important as a championship title? If Shawn’s goal is to run this company into the ground he is doing a damn good job.

Shawn Michaels-Tonight I want to give you guys a main event match that you’ll be talking about for years to come. So that is why I’m gonna hang the Intercontinental Championship above the ring and get ourselves some ladders and why not put in two of the most exciting stars in the wrestling world, AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy!

Shane McMahon-Well JBL, I think that will make up for the “travesty” Shawn announced earlier. Two of the biggest stars out there will battle in a ladder match, AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy. A wrestling fan’s dream.

JBL-I’ll forgive Shawn, because that main event has PPV quality written all over it and I’m not sure there is a match in wrestling that anyone wants to see more than that one.

Shane McMahon-Here comes one of the best in ring performers this business has to offer, Charlie Haas. And what a honor it must be for him to be participating in the debut match here on Excellence.

JBL-Did you really call Charlie Haas one of the best performers in the business? Big whoop the guy can mat wrestle, but he is boring. His best personality is that he needs to make fun of others, pathetic if you ask me. The fact that this guy has a job shows that we must have been desperate for talent.

Shane McMahon-Looks like someone still has a gripe over Haas poking fun at them. No matter what JBL thinks, Charlie Haas will be in action following this commercial break.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Shane McMahon-Welcome back folks. As you know Charlie Haas made his entrance right before the break and now he awaits his opponent inside the ring.

Ashley Valence-And his opponent, weighing in at 215 pounds from El Paso, Texas…CHAVO GUERRERO!

JBL-Now if you want entertaining Shane McMahon, I give you Chavo Guerrero. Chavito comes from wrestling royalty and he will show Charlie Haas just how it is done.

Shane McMahon-Yes the same Chavo Guerrero that lost to a midget.

JBL-Shut up McMahon! That pesky rat of a midget isn’t here and Chavo is turning a new page in his career and he will show the world just how great the Guerrero name is. Hell McMahon, I’m so confident Guerrero is going to win that I’m willing to make a little wager.

Shane McMahon-A bet? I’m game, hundred bucks.

JBL-You’re on!

Chavo is in the ring as Haas stretches in the corner. Referee Rudy Charles rings the bell and we are underway. Chavo and Haas lockup, but neither gains the advantage and they release. However they charge at each other again and lock up. Haas wraps around Chavo and has him locked in from the back and lifts him up and drops him face first to the mat. Haas releases the waistlock and goes right into a headlock. Charles asks Chavo if he gives, but Chavo shakes him off. Chavo gets up to his knees and tries to push Haas off, but to no avail. Chavo finally gets to his feet and pushes Haas off and Haas bounces off the ropes. Chavo leap frogs him and then falls for a monkey flip, but Haas sees it coming and stops and stomps on Chavo’s face. Chavo holds his nose as Haas lifts him up and hits Chavo with a snap suplex followed by a quick cover.

KICK OUT!

Haas breaks the cover and is up to his feet and he drops Chavo with an elbow. Haas lifts Chavo up and whips him into the turnbuckle. Haas plays to the crowd by clapping his hands. The crowd joins in and Haas screams and storms Chavo, who nails Haas with a boot to the face. Haas shakes it off, as Chavo goes to the middle rope and nails Haas with an axe handle. Haas falls to one knee and Chavo runs across the ropes and hits Haas with a dropkick to the side of the head. Haas falls to the mat and Chavo quickly makes the cover.

KICK OUT!

Chavo slams the mat and tells Charles that he needs to speed up the count. Chavo lifts Haas up and nails a suplex and swivels his hips and goes for another and hits that one as well. Chavo goes for the third suplex to complete the Three Amigos, but Haas blocks and rolls the maneuver into a small package.

KICK OUT!

Haas has seem to find a burst of energy, as him and Chavo get to their feet at the same time. However Haas greets Chavo with a flurry of lefts and rights. Haas has Chavo backed into the ropes and he whips him across the ring and nails Chavo with a clothesline. Haas signals for Chavo to get up and when Chavo does he is awarded with a dropkick from Haas that sends him into the corner. Haas goes to Chavo and lifts him up into a seated position from the top. Haas climbs and goes for a belly to belly suplex, but Chavo holds the ropes to block the move. Haas hits Chavo with a few shots to the head and goes for it a second time, but Chavo blocks and then pokes Haas in the eye. Haas puts his head down and Chavo nails him with an elbow and he falls off the ropes and crashes to the mat. Chavo stands up on the top rope and does a little shimmy and nails Haas with a Frog Splash right into a cover.

3!

Ashley Valence-The winner of the match by pinfall…CHAVO GUERRERO!

JBL-Haha McMahon, pay up! Actually hold on to it, you can buy me dinner tonight after the show.

Shane McMahon-Yeah yeah. Kudos to Chavo Guerrero for picking up the victory, despite the questionable way of doing so.

JBL-Questionable?? It’s called being resourceful. Haas wasn’t protective of his face and Chavo took advantage of it and soared his way into the record books. Don’t be making excuses because your boy Charlie Haas couldn’t defeat wrestling royalty in Chavo Guerrero.

*SHAWN MICHAELS’ OFFICE*

Shawn Michaels-Look who the cat drug in.

Randy Orton-Now Shawn I know we have history and I’m not here to complain, but I just have to wonder how I wasn’t considered for the main event tonight?

Shawn Michaels-I hear ya Randy and just me I considered you. Hell Randy I was going to put you in the match and then a light bulb went off and I knew just what to do you with you.

Randy Orton-And what just might that be?

Shawn Michaels-Now you know and I know that there is nothing wrestling fans love more than unpredictability. And there is nothing more unpredictable than the RKO. And when it comes to wrestling style there is nothing more unpredictable than the X-Division. And when you put those two things together you have a match made in heaven. So Randy I’m asking you to be the face of my X-Division.

Randy Orton-You want me to be the face of division made for guys who do flips and aren’t capable of hanging with the big guys. I’m sorry Shawn I’ll have to reject that.

Shawn Michaels-Randy you are making the wrong choice. Look what the X-Division has done. It put TNA on the map and it turned AJ Styles into the star that he has become today. Now yes Randy you are already a star, but imagine just what you could do as the most exciting wrestler on this brand. This could make you the biggest star in the sport today Randy. Just think about it for me.

Randy Orton-Alright Shawn, I’ll think about it.

Shane McMahon-Randy Orton as the face of the X-Division, could you imagine that?

JBL-Was Shawn Michaels tested before being given the reigns? Why in the hell would you put the biggest star on the brand in the X-Division? I’m pretty sure my hot dog vender and my limo driver compete in the X-Division. Ridiculous! Orton better chose the right choice and be the wiser man. Just absurd..

Shane McMahon-I don’t know John. Shawn made a great point that the X-Division propels you to greatness and could you imagine just how big Randy Orton could become.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Ashley Valence-This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at 323 pounds from Parts Unknown… “The Big Red Machine” KANE!

Shane McMahon-This man has walked through Hell, fire, and brimstone JBL. The Big Red Machine is here and you know he is here for a purpose.

JBL-Kane may very well be the most intimidating superstar in wrestling history. Each match he looks to seek vengeance on his opponents. Can’t help but wonder who his next victim will be..

Ashley Valence-And his opponent, weighing in at 260 pounds from Perry, Oklahoma…“The All American American” JACK SWAGGER!

JBL-This young man may be my favorite superstar in all of wrestling today McMahon. No one has more potential than Jack Swagger. Don’t even open your mouth McMahon and give me some stupid theory about Swagger. You and the world knows he is the brightest rising star in our industry.

Referee Charles Robinson rings the bell and we are underway. Kane goes right for Swagger, who dodges out of the way and gets Kane in a waist lock. Swagger tries to take Kane down, but Kane nails him with an elbow shot to the head. Swagger keeps the waist locked, but releases following another elbow from Kane. Kane bounces off the ropes and nails Swagger with a giant big boot. Swagger rolls out of the ring and Kane follows him. Kane grabs Swagger and tries to throw him into the ring, but Swagger elbows Kane in the cut and throws him into the steel post. Kane holds his shoulder as Swagger boots him in the injured shoulder, knocking Kane to the ground. Swagger rolls into the ring and tells Charles Robinson to start counting.

Shane McMahon-Can Kane get back in? Could Swagger really have damaged Kane’s shoulder that bad?

Shane McMahon-AND HE IS IN! Kane gets into the ring just in the nick of time.

Swagger jumps right onto the offensive, stepping away at the shoulder of Kane. Swagger gets Kane into a shoulder lock, as Kane writhers in pain. Charles Robinson asks Kane if he submit and Kane yells a furious no at him. Kane tries to get to his feet but Swagger wrenches back on the shoulder and keeps Kane grounded. Kane again tries to get to his feet. He manages to get to his knees until Swagger releases that hold and nails Kane’s injured shoulder with an elbow, sending Kane back to the mat. Swagger kicks at Kane’s shoulder and falls on Kane for a cover.

KICK OUT!

Swagger pummels away at Kane’s shoulder and he gets up and continues to kick away. Swagger drags Kane to the corner and Swagger walks across the ring. Swagger screams and runs and nails Kane with a slingshot splash from the middle ropes. Charles Robinson goes for the count, but Swagger breaks it. Swagger walks back to the corner and goes for another, but this time Kane counters with knees into Swagger’s sternum. The crowd pops as Kane is slow to pull himself to his feet. Swagger is up as well and charges at Kane. Kane blocks the fist from Swagger and nails him with an upper coat straight in the throat. Swagger falls to his knees, holding his throat. Kane bounces off the ropes and nails Swagger with a dropkick. Kane goes right into the cover.

KICK OUT!

Kane gets up and signals for a chokeslam. Swagger staggers to his feet and turns and Kane catches his throat. Swagger tries to fight out of it. Kane lifts him up, but Swagger jumps out and shoves Kane right into Charles Robinson. Kane looks down at the ref. Swagger runs at Kane with a big boot, but Kane ducks out of the way. Swagger turns around and Kane grabs him and drops him with a chokeslam. Kane makes the cover, but Charles Robinson is still down. Kane gets up and tries to help Charles Robinson.

Shane McMahon-The referee is still down. Kane has this match in the bag, but the ref is still out.

JBL-Is that who I think it is McMahon?

Shane McMahon-It’s Mike Knox! What the hell is he doing out here. Kane better beware, as it seems like Knox is just waiting for him.

Kane turns around and Mike Knox takes Kane’s head off with a bicycle kick. Knox rolls out of the ring, as Kane lays in the middle of the ring out cold. Swagger crawls over to make the cover. Charles Robinson is slow to make the count.

1…..
2…..
3!

Ashley Valence-The winner of the match by pinfall…JACK SWAGGER!

Shane McMahon-Kane was screwed here JBL, you know, I know it, these fans know it, and the whole world knows it.

JBL-Would you shutup McMahon. What the ref doesn’t see, the ref doesn’t know. Mike Knox obviously wants to make a name for himself and it seems like he is doing that on Kane’s behalf.

Shane McMahon-If that is the case Knox is in for a world of trouble, as Kane is not going to take that attack lightly.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Ashley Valence-Ladies and gentlemen, he is our hardcore commissioner…JOEY STYLES!

Joey Styles-It must feel like a reunion show out here for ya Salt Lake City! I mean we see the on screen return of Shane McMahon, JBL, and our GM, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels! And now you get to see the long awaited return of the voice of extreme! Honestly I do owe Shawn a big thank you for putting me in charge of the Hardcore championship. I had a conversation with Shawn earlier today and he has given me the okay to have an extreme show here on Excellence. So in just two weeks time, Excellence will be taken to the EXTREME!

Shane McMahon-I wonder what Joey Styles will have in store for us in two weeks from now?

JBL (mocking Styles)-Oh my God, oh my God. I’m sure we’ll have a lot of that crap going. Why can’t you people just accept the fact that ECW is dead and stop trying to resurrect it..

Shane McMahon-The fans still enjoy hardcore wrestling at its finest JBL and I think that is all Joey is trying to provide these great fans. This won’t be an ECW reunion, this will be a chance for the Excellence brand to show their extreme side.

Ashley Valence-This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at 205 pounds from Marietta, Georgia…CONSEQUENCES CREED!

Shane McMahon-Lets get back to the action here folks. Here comes one of the most exciting superstars in wrestling today, Consequences Creed. Excitement at its finest right here, kid just oozes charisma.

Shane McMahon-And here comes everyone’s superhero, The Hurricane!

JBL (sarcastic)-Great a X-Division match featuring two of the most irritating superstars in wrestling. A fake superhero verse a character mocking a boxer from Rocky. Just dandy.

Referee Rudy Charles rings the bell and we are underway. Hurricane and Creed chants go throughout the arena. Hurricane and Creed shake hands and are ready to go. Hurricane nails a right and follows it up with two more. He goes for another, but Creed does a split and Hurricane misses the punch. Creed pops back up and nails three rights of his own. Creed bounces off the ropes and nails Hurricane with a flying elbow. Creed goes for the quick cover.

1...
KICK OUT!

Creed lifts Hurricane up and goes for a suplex, but Hurricane blocks it. Creed tries again and again it is blocked by Hurricane, who turns it into a suplex of his own. Hurricane lifts Creed up and throws him into the corner. Hurricane runs and nails Creed in the ribs with a shoulder block. Creed falls to the ground and Hurricane heads to the top rope. Hurricane waits as Creed gets to his feet and nails a flying crossbody right into the cover.

KICK OUT!

Hurricane gets up and waits for the Hurrislam. Creed is up and out of nowhere comes Randy Orton, who nails Creed with a RKO. Hurricane looks confused as Orton pounds the mat. Orton is up and Hurricane is still dumbfounded and Orton jumps and drops Hurricane with a RKO.

Shane McMahon-And I think Randy Orton has answered Shawn Michaels’ X Division request.

JBL-Why why why!?!?! Why would Randy Orton demote himself to such a low standard? He is ruining his career McMahon!!!

Shane McMahon-Would you chill out John. Orton was promised big things from Shawn and just imagine what this could do for his already growing legacy.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Ashley Valence-The following match is a ladder match and the winner be declared the WPWA Intercontinental Champion!

Ashley Valence-Introducing first, weighing in at 215 pounds from Raleigh, North Carolina…”The Charismatic Enigma” JEFF HARDY!

Shane McMahon-Here he is JBL, the Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy. Listen to this reaction, easily the biggest reaction of the night

JBL-Jeff Hardy is a risky investment, but there is no doubt that these fans love and endear with the daredevil that he is. If he stays out of trouble, the Excellence brand will be in for some excitement each and every night.

Ashley Valence-And his opponent, weighing in at 215 pounds from Gainesville, Georgia…”The Phenomenal” AJ STYLES!

JBL-Here he is McMahon. Here is the man that I regard as the best wrestler in the world. And with his newly acquired attitude, Styles is on the fast track to stardom. What better way to begin that fame by defeating one of the innovators of the ladder match in his own match.

Shane McMahon-While I’m not fond of the “new” AJ, he is still one of the best wrestlers on the planet and him and Hardy should steal the show here. I have no doubts about that.

The bell rings and Charles Robinson ducks outside and lets AJ and Hardy settle their differences. AJ and Hardy lock up in a collar and armbar tie up, but Styles pushes Hardy off and nails him immediately with a spin kick, sending Hardy to the outside. Styles looks around the ring for Hardy and sees he is on the outside. Styles bounces off the ropes and dives over the top rope, but Hardy ducks out of the way and Styles crashes into the announce table.

Shane McMahon-Did you feel that JBL? AJ Styles just shook our announce table with that impact.

Hardy lifts Styles up and goes to whip him into the steel stairs. Styles counters and jumps up to the top of the stairs and dives off, turning in midair. However Hardy sees this and dropkicks Styles right in the sternum. The crowd erupts at the move, as Hardy crawls towards a ladder. Hardy unfolds the ladder and rolls it into the ring. Hardy follows suit and he sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring and begins to climb. Hardy is about halfway up and Styles springboards off the top rope and dropkicks the ladder. Hardy crashes to the ground, as the ladder balances on the ropes. AJ sets the ladder up in the corner and heads over to Hardy. Styles lifts Hardy up, but Hardy fights away with wild swinging fists. Styles falls back in the corner, but takes Hardy’s head off with a Roundhouse kick. Styles drags Hardy’s body into the corner and stands him up in the corner. Styles walks around the ring and then dives at Hardy and nails him with his flying forearm. Hardy slides down the ladder and lands in a seated position. Styles grabs the ladder and throws it down and it lands on the back of Hardy’s head. Styles drags the ladder and sets it up and starts climbing. Styles has the belt in his grasp, but Hardy is up and pushes the ladder over. Styles flails in the air and lands hard onto the top rope and crashes to the mat. Hardy pulls the ladder over to Styles. Hardy lifts Styles up and body slams him onto the ladder. Styles writhers in pain and holds his back. Hardy heads to the apron and launches himself into the ring and nails Styles with a legdrop. Hardy goes back outside the ring and brings another ladder into play. Styles is still on the first ladder and Hardy drops the second ladder on top of Styles. Hardy does his trademark pose and screams to the fans. They pop as Hardy climbs to the top. Hardy goes for the Swanton, but Styles rolls out of the way and Hardy crashes on top of the two ladders.

JBL-And that is exactly why they call it high risk McMahon. Hardy probably could have had this match won, but he had to take that extra risk and it looks like it could cost him.

Styles sets up one of the ladders and starts to climb. At around halfway Hardy starts to budge and sets up the ladder next to Styles. Hardy starts to climb as Styles reaches for the belt. Styles has his fingers on the belt and Hardy clubs him on the back. Hardy grabs Styles, but Styles hits him with an elbow. Hardy is woozy and Styles hits a Pele Kick off the ladder, sending both men crashing to the mat.

Shane McMahon-What an AMAZING move by AJ Styles. What an amazing match going on here. Just when it looks over, they keep showing off.

Both men are slow to get up. Hardy pulls himself up with help from the ropes as Styles props himself in the turnbuckle. Styles and Hardy charge each other and start firing away at each other. It is nonstop fisticuffs and then Hardy takes out Styles with a takedown and continues to punch away. Styles reverses and starts punching away at Hardy. Styles breaks up the encounter and runs towards the ladder. Styles is up on the fourth rung and Hardy grabs Styles foot and pulls him off. Styles face crashes into the rungs and falls back into the ropes. Hardy throws Styles into a seated position in the corner. Hardy steps back and runs at Styles and hits the Hardyac Arrest (dropkick with the aid of the rope). Styles holds his chest as he rolls out onto the apron. Hardy moves his focus to the ladder and starts to climb. Styles starts to get up as Hardy is towards the top. Hardy is at the top and instead of grabbing the title he nails a standing style with a Whisper in the Wind. Both men are down and out as they roll around the mat in pain.

JBL-I’m telling you McMahon Hardy has taken too many shots to the head. He had this match won and he decides to jump off and crash on top of AJ Styles. I don’t get it. Why give up championship gold for a risk that might cost you in the long run.

Hardy chants rain throughout the arena as Hardy pulls himself up to his feet. Styles is still down as Hardy begins to climb the ladder. Styles starts to move, as Hardy is a few rungs up. Styles pops up and heads over towards Hardy, who kicks him away. Styles goes right back and sets his head between Hardy’s legs and pulls him down into a Styles Clash position and drops him on his face. A slight pop can be heard, but it is quickly drowned out with boos from the Hardy faithful. Styles looks down over at a knocked out Hardy, as he is holding his head. Styles uses the ladder to pull himself up and he starts to climb. Styles slowly climbs the ladder and Hardy rolls over to start climbing the adjacent ladder. Styles tries to kick Hardy off, but Hardy hangs on. Hardy and Styles are now at equal levels, two steps away from the top. Hardy nails Styles with a right hand and goes for a Twist of Fate, but Styles hangs on to the ladder and shoves Hardy off, sending him crashing to the mat below. Styles shakes off the cobwebs and reaches around and unhooks the championship and picks up the victory.

Ashley Valence-The winner of the match and NEW Intercontinental Champion…AJ STYLES!

Shane McMahon-An amazing main event! Love him or hate him, AJ Styles put on a hell of a match, as did Jeff Hardy. These two came to steal the show and they damn well made this show!

JBL-Congratulations AJ Styles! You are most deserving of that championship and you proved it here tonight by defeating the nutcase that is Jeff Hardy. Yeah yeah, Hardy had a good match, but he blew his chance to win and the more deserving star won. I don’t care what you say McMahon.

Shane McMahon-Either way it was a classic and epic duel. And with that John we are out of time here this Saturday night. Congrats to AJ on becoming champion and thank you all for joining us here this evening. For John Bradshaw Layfield, I am Shane McMahon and we will see you here live next week on WPWA Excellence. Good night!

Great show, Theo. I have to spread rep, but I was going to rep you at the beginning just for using a Skillet song as the show's theme.

Really like your show Theo but I didn't like the way the matches were put into spoiler tags. But other than that it was really enjoyable. Edit: More in depth! This is so easy to read, so it's fun to read! I like the idea of a Knox/Kane feud and like the idea of them teaming in an unstoppable monster duo who be even better. AJ and Jeff are perfect for your mid card and there ladder match would be incredible to see in real life. Also like the interaction of Orton in the X Divison, would be interesting to see those match-ups with the high flyers and risk takers. Really great show and keep it up!

And ladies and gentleman, we see why I love theo soooooooooo much... Haha theo just gotta say, this is awesome. I really enjoyed your show. Look forward to reading other WPWA posters, nice work theo.

this is really good theo, it was weird reading a show with prominence on stars like mike knox and charlie hass, but i liked it, it was different. great lay out

“Invincible” by Skillet hits and pyro flies as WPWA Excellence is coming to you live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado!

Shane McMahon-Welcome everyone to the second edition of WPWA Excellence here on Saturday Night. As always I’m joined by John Bradshaw Layfield and I’m Shane McMahon and we are live tonight from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado!

JBL-That’s right McMahon and is tonight’s show is going to be huge. Lets start it off big McMahon, shall we. AJ Styles deserves some mic time and he is gonna get some right now.

Ashley Valence-Please welcome the first ever WPWA Intercontinental champion. He is…”The Phenomenal” AJ STYLES!

Styles approaches the ring in designer shades and a custom made suit. He has a smirk on his face, as he gets a mixed reaction from the Denver audience. Styles gets in the ring and takes the hand of Ashley Valence and kisses it. She hands him the mic and scurries out.

AJ Styles-I did it! I did it! I did it! My success from TNA continues to pour in here in the WPWA. I don’t need Ric Flair, I don’t need fortune, I am and always will be fortunate. C’mon, I’m the Phenomenal AJ Styles. I did the unthinkable. I mean, no one gave me a fair shot at winning that ladder match against Jeff Hardy last week. Hardy is a so called ladder master, but it seems as if that should go along with my name. I defeated the master. I am this brand. I’ll prove I am this brand. I’m issuing a challenge to any superstar who thinks they have what it takes to defeat me. Who’s it gonna be? Huh, anyone?

Shane McMahon-Looks like AJ has a challenger John. And it is someone that knows Intercontinental titles well, seeing as he won an IC title after retiring you.

JBL-You shut your mouth McMahon. I retired on my own watch and I could beat that little Mexican jumping bean if I chose to lace up the boots again.

Rey Mysterio-You want a challenger AJ? Well consider that challenge answered!

AJ Styles- You? You really want to accept my challenge? Rey I don’t want to be rude by I would have preferred a challenger who was tall enough to ride the rollercoaster at the amusement park.

Rey Mysterio-Real funny AJ. To me it sounds like someone is afraid of the 6…1…9!

AJ Styles- I’m not afraid of anyone Mysterio, especially you. If you really want to embarrass yourself here on your first night of work, I’ll be glad to do so.

Rey Mysterio-I don’t know what happened to you AJ. You always seemed like a good and humble kid. You would have looked at the match between us as a shot to show the world just how great of a show we could put on. But now you are arrogant, you don’t look at things from a historic aspect, and you think you are above the world.

AJ Styles- People change Mysterio. Being humble got me nowhere in this business. You have to be a lion Rey and you need to attack your prey whenever you can, no matter the situation. Aggressiveness is the key to success in wrestling business and I’m bringing it back to the forefront. Tonight Mysterio, I rid the wrestling world of your pathetic existence. Tonight I end Rey Mysterio!

Mysterio shakes his head and keeps his eyes on AJ, as the two just stare each other down as the camera fades.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Ashley Valence-This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at 250 pounds, from Houston, Texas…BOOKER T!

Shane McMahon-Here comes the sucka diggin’ Texas native, Booker T. We found out on our web exclusive that Booker T would be making his debut here tonight and you have to think Book is anxious John to be back in mainstream wrestling.

JBL-Booker T may be one of the most underrated stars in professional wrestling history. Booker T has done everything in wrestling, yet he rarely is mentioned with the best. Booker is excited about tonight and you know as much as I know McMahon that Booker T is going to be a top player in the WPWA!

Ashley Valence-And his opponent, weighing in at 240 pounds, from King’s Lynn…MAGNUS!

Shane McMahon-Magnus, a kid with a load of potential John. He is a young man who is going to learn a lot here in the WPWA

JBL-Shut up McMahon and lets watch the greatness that is “The Mag Daddy”. Magnus is going to be a star here on Excellence, no doubt in my mind. The kid just oozes potential. Booker T better be worried and not under estimate the young Brit.

Referee Charles Robinson rings the bell and we are underway. Magnus wants a handshake and Booker looks around as the fans boo. Booker shakes his head and pops Magnus in the face with a right. Booker grabs Magnus and whips him across the ropes and ducks down for a backbody drop, but Magnus kicks Booker in the face and knocks him down with high knee. Magnus goes for the quick cover.

1…
KICK OUT!

Magnus lifts Booker up and shoves him into the corner. Magnus drives his shoulder into Booker four times and then lifts him up and props him on the top rope. Magnus climbs up and goes for a superplex, but Booker blocks and pushes Magnus off and he crashes to the mat. Booker stands up and nails an axe handle. Booker stalks Magnus and waits for him to get up and he runs across the ropes and nails Mangus with a jumping calf kick. Booker gets down on one knee and the crowd pops as Booker nails a spin-a-rooni. Booker T kicks Magnus in the gut and goes for the axe kick, but Magnus ducks and nails Booker with a flying forearm shot. Magnus taunts to the crowd to some heavy boos. Magnus lifts Booker up and drops him with a powerbomb. Magnus keeps it locked and goes for a follow up powerbomb, but Booker falls off and kicks Magnus in the gut and nails him with an axe kick. Booker goes for the cover.

1…
2…
3!

Ashley Valence-The winner of the match by pinfall…BOOKER T!

Shane McMahon-And Booker T is victorious!

JBL-An impressive showing from Booker T, but trust me McMahon this won’t be the last we see of Magnus here in the WPWA.

Shane McMahon-Is that? It is! It’s Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner, what could they want?

JBL-I don’t know McMahon, but it doesn’t seem like Booker was expecting them. We know the history between the three though and we know they are three legends of this business.

Joey Styles-Ladies and gentlemen it gives me great honor to present to you, Tommy Dreamer. Tommy next week Excellence goes extreme as we have a hardcore only show and we will be having a four man tournament to determine the Hardcore champion. Tommy you will be one of the men participating in the tournament, thoughts?

Tommy Dreamer-Well Joey, people need to understand that this isn’t one of those little ECW reunion shows. This is just a night fully dedicated to hardcore wrestling. All members of the Excellence roster will be present Joey and I respect that Shawn has given you the ok to run this show next week. With you in charge we know it will be nothing but perfection.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Shane McMahon-Welcome back to WPWA Excellence, in the ring currently is Jerry Lynn, an Indy legend looking for that one last chance to make it big.

Ashley Valence-And his opponent, weighing in at 210 pounds, from Elizabeth, New Jersey…JAY LETHAL!

Shane McMahon-Here comes one of wrestling’s rising stars John. Jay Lethal has been living the dream and now he has a chance to continue that dream here in…

JBL-For crying out loud McMahon would you shut the hell up. No one cares about Jay Lethal, no one cares about Jerry Lynn. Hell no one gives a flying crap about these X-Division wrestlers. All they do is flips and fly around like little spot monkeys. In fact, that is exactly what they are, spot monkeys.

Shane McMahon-Well John, I hope these guys can win you over eventually and you can see just what these X-Division stars are capable of.

Rudy Charles rings the bell and we are underway. Lethal and Lynn lock up. Lethal gets him in a headlock, but Lynn slips out and trips Lethal and gets him in a camel clutch position, but Lethal won’t let him lock it in and he rolls over and clocks Lynn in the face and kicks him off. Lethal hops up and runs across the ropes and Lynn goes for a clothesline, but Lethal ducks and jumps up onto the second rope and launches himself on top of Lynn straight into a pinfall.

Ashley Valence-The winner of the match by pinfall…JAY LETHAL!

Shane McMahon-What a match between two special superstars.

JBL-Special? One is an aging Indy legend, and I use that term loosely and the other is just a wannabe who gets by on mocking Randy Savage.

Shane McMahon-Lethal has dropped the impressions John, he is paving his own legacy and a win over Lynn is a perfect start.

Shane McMahon-Here comes Randy Orton! Listen to this ovation John.

JBL-I still can’t fathom the fact that Orton wants to demote himself to this nonsense McMahon. I hope he is out here to change his mind.

Lethal and Lynn are in fighting stances and Orton yells for them to get out of the ring. Lethal and Lynn don’t budge as Orton just glares at them. Orton yells for them to get out or fight him. Lethal and Lynn looked confused, as they roll out of the ring and Orton grabs a mic and stares at the audience.

Shane McMahon-What does Randy have on his mind? We will find out after a quick break.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Randy Orton- Last week when Shawn Michaels asked me about being the face of the X Division I really didn’t know how to take that. I already questioned my role on the show and really didn’t expect what they had planned for me here. Hell I still don’t know what they have planned for me. But after Shawn asked me last week my mind was spinning and I really don’t know why I got involved with the Consequences Creed and Hurricane match and I’m not too sure what I’m doing here right now. I decided it would be smart of me to not intervene with these match until the end, so I’m here. The X Division is a different aspect of professional wrestling. It is a cruiserweight division with no weight limits. Shawn Michaels is right by saying I’m the most unpredictable superstar in all of wrestling today and the RKO is the most unpredictable move wrestling has ever laid witness to. You put that with the unpredictability of the X Division and you have wrestling’s beauty and the beast. So Shawn if you are watching and I know you are, consider this a yes.

JBL-No no no no NO! Why would Randy Orton waste his God given talent in the wrestling’s most worthless group. This is a travesty McMahon and this will destroy Randy Orton’s legacy. You mark my words McMahon. Orton has just killed any chance of him being considered a legend in this business.

Shane McMahon-Ya know what John? I’m tired of this negative attitude you take towards the X Division. These guys are the most exciting thing in wrestling and whether you like it or not they are here to stay.

Joey Styles- Ladies and gentlemen, Mike Knox. Mike last week you got involved in a match between Kane and Jack Swagger and cost Kane the matchup. Why would you want to target someone as dangerous as the Big Red Machine?

Mike Knox-It’s funny that you ask that Joseph. Kane may be dangerous, but it is time that everyone in the professional wrestling world realizes how dangerous I can be. Kane has a weak spot Joseph and not many can see that, but I know through my years of studying. Kane has a weak mind and when he lets his mind get in the way he is a vulnerable beast. Whereas my mind is my strong point Joseph. My mind is the most gifted that has ever graced the wrestling world. My mind is going to win me championships, but the minds of every superstar here is going to cost them matches.

Knox stares into the camera with a smirk on his face and from out of nowhere Kane jumps him from behind. Kane and Knox brawl through the backstage area. Kane nails Knox with a throat thrust, which knocks Knox to his knees. Kane picks up a chair and charges Knox, but Knox nails the chair with a big boot and the chair smashes Kane in the face. Knox grabs the wounded Kane and throws him into the concrete wall, crashing through a buffet table. Knox laughs as Kane lays there motionless, groaning with agony.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Joey Styles- Before we head to our main event it gives me great honor to be standing here with Jeff Hardy! Jeff, you probably have more interest in this main event than anyone else. What are you looking for tonight?

Jeff Hardy-I’m not really sure Joey. As much as I’d love to see Rey win, I’d also like to see AJ retain, as I can’t wait to get my hands on him again. Look I respect both individuals, so I’m just gonna be a fan tonight as these guys are gonna put on a hell of a match. But let it be known that no matter who wins, I’m looking to be the next number one contender.

Shawn Michaels- And you guys thought we’d have a show without the Heartbreak Kid? I just came out to announce some news regarding our Excellence show that goes to the Extreme next week. We already know that Tommy Dreamer is in a tournament for our hardcore championship. He will be joined by Sandman, Sabu, and Rhino! How about that? Kudos to Joey Styles for that one. Also I feel the need for some X Division action to main event the show. So how about an Ultimate X between Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, Jay Lethal, Jerry Lynn, Hurricane, Consequences Creed, Chavo Guerrero, and Randy Orton!!!

Ashley Valence-This match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Intercontinental Championship!. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 175 pounds, from San Diego, California…REY MYSTERIO!!

Shane McMahon-An awesome announcement from the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. I’m sure you’ll find something to complain about JBL since it is the X-Division, but here comes Mysterio and it is time for our main event.

Ashley Valence-And his opponent, weighing in at 215 pounds from Gainesville, Georgia. He is the Intercontinental Champion…”The Phenomenal” AJ STYLES!

JBL-Here comes greatness McMahon. Here comes the best wrestler in all of wrestling. AJ Styles.

Shane McMahon-You do know AJ got famous from his many encounters with the X Division?

JBL-Don’t give me that crap McMahon. AJ knows he is above the X Division and that is why he is the top champion in all of the land here on Excellence. So don’t give me where he got his start. Everyone makes mistakes and AJ knew the X Division was just that and he got out of there as soon as he could and now he will never go back.

Head ref Charles Robinson rings the bell and the match is underway. Styles lunges at Mysterio, but Rey ducks out the way and nails Styles in the thigh with consecutive kicks. Styles grabs Mysterio’s leg on the third attempt, but Rey nails Styles with an enzuigiri, sending Styles through the middle rope. Styles pulls himself up with the security rail and Mysterio goes to dive outside, but Styles moves out of the way. Rey, however sees it coming and twirls through the middle ropes, keeping himself inside the ring. Rey backs off and lets Styles enter back into the ring. Styles get back into the ring and Rey and him lock up. Styles gets Mysterio in a headlock. Styles yells and acts cocky, but Mysterio shoves him right off and nails Styles with a dropkick, sending him onto the apron. Styles pulls himself up and Rey charges, but Styles dodges and Rey crashes to the outside.

JBL-Right there McMahon, you see right there. That is why AJ Styles is the best wrestler in the world. He has the look, charisma, and the brains. He outsmarted that little masked Mexican jumping bean and sent him to the outside where he belongs.

Styles runs across the ropes and dives over the top ropes and nails a swanton over the ropes and lands on top of Mysterio. Styles holds his back as he gets to his feet and rolls Mysterio back in the ring and goes for the cover.

Mysterio runs at Styles and AJ goes for a clothesline, but Rey dodges it and jumps off the middle rope and springboards back, but AJ counters with a dropkick into the ribcage of Mysterio’s. Styles gets up and points to his brain. Styles lifts Mysterio up and slaps him in the head a few times. Styles grabs Mysterio and goes for a suplex, but Rey slides off and dropkicks Styles in the back, sending him chest first into the ropes. Styles turns and Mysterio nails a hurricanrana into a pinfall.

Mysterio runs across the ropes and Styles sits up, but Mysterio nails him in the face with a boot. Rey goes right to the apron and awaits Styles to get to his feet and he springboards in, but Styles catches him and gets him in position for the Styles clash, but Mysterio crawls out. Mysterio hops right to his feet and dropkicks Styles in the knee followed by a standing enzuigiri. Mysterio lifts Styles up and nails a set of kicks and backhands and follows that up with a headscissors and Styles lands in between the ropes. Rey sees that Styles in position for the 619, Rey bounces off the ropes and Rey goes through the ropes and nails Styles in the face. Styles signals his inner HBK and kicks up and nails a turning Mysterio with a superkick. Styles falls back on Mysterio.

1…
2…
COUNTER!

Mysterio counters Styles into a pinfall.

1…
2…
KICK OUT!

Mysterio releases the fall and him and Styles both crawl away from each other. The crowd applauds the two men as they both get to their feet.

Shane McMahon-I didn’t think it was possible, but these two are putting on a pay per view quality match that rivals that of last week. This is why Excellence is the elitist brand in the WPWA!

Mysterio puts his hand out as Styles looks around. He grabs Mysterio’s hand and the crowd erupts, but Styles brings his other hand around and slaps Mysterio across the face. Styles nails Rey with two forearm smashes and Styles whips Rey across the ropes and nails a dropkick. Styles now takes his game to the apron and waits for Mysterio to get up. Shane McMahon-I don’t believe it! How the hell did Mysterio kick out of that. I can’t recall anyone kicking out of the Styles Clash. What will it take for the champ to take out Mysterio?

Styles is baffled that Mysterio kicked out. Styles lifts Rey up and goes for another Clash, but Mysterio twirls Styles into the ropes. Rey hops to his feet and runs across the ropes and nails Styles with the 619. Rey gets on the apron and launches himself into a springboard splash and lands on top of Styles.

Shane McMahon-That’s gonna do it JBL, we are going to have a new champ!

JBL-Way to jump the gun McMahon. How dare you doubt our champion, how dare you! AJ Styles is a God amongst men, much like myself. It’ll take more than a stupid area code to defeat the Phenomenal One!

Rey can’t believe Styles kicked out. Rey lifts AJ up and nails Styles with a couple of forearms. Rey whips Styles into the corner. Rey follows suit, but Styles pulls himself up and Mysterio crashes shoulder first into the ring post. Styles pulls Mysterio out from the corner and throws him back in. AJ is drawing major heat, as Rey screams in pain. Mysterio dangles in the corner, as Styles goes out onto the apron. Styles runs across and kicks the injured shoulder of Mysterio. Ashley Valence-The winner of the match by pinfall and STILL Intercontinental Champion…AJ STYLES!

JBL-He did it McMahon, he did it! AJ Styles is wrestling’s only fighting champion McMahon. Not only did he win the title in a brutal ladder match last week against Jeff Hardy and now he defeats the “great” Rey Mysterio. Praise this man McMahon, praise this man!

Shane McMahon-I’ll give it to ya John, AJ has proved to be a fighting champion. Props to AJ and props to Mysterio as well. These two put on a hell of a match and we can only imagine what other kind of great matches AJ is going to put on as champion.

JBL-With Styles as champion this brand will soar to greatness. AJ Styles McMahon is a man amongst boys, a legend amongst rookies, and again, dare I say? A GOD amongst men! He is the greatest professional wrestler in the world today and he will continue to show you and all these morons what he is capable of doing. Week in and week out, Styles will continue to impress.

JBL-We’ll just have to see about John, not that I doubt you, but you have been wrong in the past before. Styles has been great thus far in our early goings of Excellence, but we have a long way to go. Next week we take it to the extreme, live from the birth of extreme, Philadelphia, PA! For my partner JBL and all the great talent of Excellence, I’m Shane McMahon, thanks and good night!
