That actually is a great gimmick.. He did what it took to get a push and entertain us.. He unlike 90% of wrestlers care about the fans...

Worste gimmick IMO is the tag team of the Heart Throbs... I hated them.. Romeo and whoever the other guy was.. They were a rip off of HBK IMO.. By far one of the worste gimmicks..

But another gimmick and wrestler that straight up sucks... Snitsky... He likes feet? That is real dumb.. He cant wrestle, Has no mic skills.. all he says is it wasnt my fault? Like get over it.. And to add to that.. His finisher is a Scoop Slam...

The worst gimmick by far is Eugene!! That gimick is absolutley horrible. Its a shame that they would make anyone have that gimmick and totaly kill a persons chance of ever winning a title. That was just carrer suicide that was done when he agreed to do that gimmick!!

i'd have to say alot of you already mentioned some great past gimmicks and a few current ones that are TERRIBLE!! my worst gimmick is the Spirit Squad. i think there the ultimate disgrace to professional wrestling. even if they turend face i'd still hate them. it's absolutely dispectable that the tag team titles are held by 5 wrestlers at once. They are such a disgrace that id enjoy Eugene and Jim Dugan hold the titles. LOL

Second - Listen to Mr. Jeremy Dick. A Gimmick is a tool to turn an ordinary wrestler, into a superstar. A "good" gimmick is one that works. You're entitled to your own opinion, but I'm pretty sure that both of Hogan's gimmicks, and both of Sting's gimmicks worked very well.

no need to get nasty first of all your wrong a gimmick is a is a tool to get a wrestler over with the fans and if that gimmick gets the reaction that it should or better than they stick with it your right the hogan and sting gimmicks worked but that doesn't stop them from being in my OPINION bad gimmicks that was out of place then and now so you can say whatever you want I DON'T FU*KING LIKE THERE GIMMICKS if you do that's you and i'm me so get over it

i think you missed the entire point of my post. the gimmicks may seem silly NOWADAYS, because wrestling has changed quite a bit since the 80's and early 90's. you need to understand that this was a time when wrestling was based on flashy characters. if those characters were debuted in modern day wrestling, they would definately be bad gimmicks. hogan and sting both adapted to dark characters when the wrestling world was changing to fit in more with the environment.

the truly "bad gimmicks" are the ones that were always bad. the ones that are silly no matter what the situation is. flash funk, for example.

i get your point but since there gimmicks was always bad to me i understand where your comming from they did change there gimmicks to darker and far more beliveable characters but to me there gimmicks have always been bad you can't say sting has a good gimmick then turn around and say the boogeyman has a bad one there characters are made on the same value cartoon characters come to life

Undertaker has to be one of the best gimmicks...the only bad part with his gimmick that everyone expects him to come back all the time...and one of these times he won't...and that will be wierd.

I love the Undertaker and his gimmick, it's performed well and has been one of the best of all time. My thought comes with this: What if someone else was given the Undertaker gimmick, someone with no charisma or talent? Would this gimmick have worked as well, or would we be referring to the "dead man" gimmick in the same class as all the other ones we deem horrible?
The point I'm exploring is that sometimes the wrestler himself makes the gimmick work, and sometimes, the gimmick makes the wrestler. Though some gimmicks should just simply never have happened, maybe some of the ones we think were horrible could've been performed better by someone with more charisma or talent and could've been considered great. Just something to think about.

i love wrestling i have been watching it since i was three years old there gimmicks are not beliveable and if your going to put down the gobbley gooker (good one!!!!) then you got to do the same to wrestling greats like undertaker from the darkside than for two years he's a beatable biker same with kane and mick foley and his dumba** gimmicks i love them as wrestlers but hate there sh***y gimmicks
