Will Ziggler turn face in the future?

Ok, with Dolph Ziggler's win at MitB, it's pretty obvious that he will become WH Champion soon, (rightfully deserved IMO) but I just want to know, Will Ziggler turn face in the future?

Currently, Ziggler is drawing a cheerful reaction from the crowd. They like him, and realize he know's what he's doing. Pairing him up with Vickie did wonders for his career. He's gone from being a male cheerleader, to the "Show-off" of the WWE. Vickie draws TONS of heat, and no doubt she will help propel Ziggler into a big heel champion, but when will the time come that Ziggler no longer needs Vickie? I think Ziggler still needs Vickie, only because she will indeed help him get over as a heel champion. But it is inevitable, the two must and will eventually split. The one question is, will Ziggler turn face when it happens?

I can see this going one of two ways.

1. Ziggler dumps Vickie and turns face.

Say when Ziggler loses the title, he is relentless at trying to get it back. He tries and tries only to come up short each time thanks to Vickie. Finally, fed up he dumps her in the middle of the ring, much to the joy of the crowd. He becomes face and continues his quest for championship gold solo.

2. Vickie turns on Ziggler.

One of two options here. Vickie could screw Ziggler over and cost him his title to her "new" client, thus making Ziggler face. Or after Ziggler loses the title, Vickie walks out on him for losing.

Another option would be for Ziggler to just break out on his own and remain heel. I think Ziggler will do good either way. But what are your opinions?

I see Dolph dumping Vickie not the other way around. You are right that crowds are beginning to cheer dolph even thought he is still with Vickie. Those We Want Ziggler chants we hear on every show demonstrate how dolph´s ability have started to win over the crowd. The thing with vickie is that she really doesnt dump clients, Edge dumped her not the other way around and she was forced to leave Swagger because of Ziggler beating him so i dont see her dumping the Zig Zag man....

of course they could take the paul heyman route and cost dolph the title or briefcase like paul heyman did with lesnar and big show and kurt angle.

SO yeah Dolph will dump vickie because he doesnt need her eventually or because he turns face, either way Dolph for world champion baby!

I think Ziggler will have his face turn when he feuds with Tensai. Last week, Vickie gave a look on Tensai hinting a storyline in the near future. It is either Ziggler and Vickie split up or they remain intact, turning Vickie into a face as well.

If Ziggler does turn, it'll definately involve him dumping Vickie Guerrero(and rightfully so). It's about time too, since being champion is about standing on your own and not relying on a manager to talk for you. Plus, when Austin was guest GM a while back, that was a stipulation for him getting a US Title shot(which was ignored directly afterwards). Ziggler is a good in ring worker, but he needs to develop his own personality before WWE invests effort into making him a big name star.

With that being said, I think he'll continue to be a heel at the current moment. Having Vickie turn on him, possibly costing him his MITB briefcase and adding a new member to her stable IMO would be a great way to do that. To me, it'll take a unique way to get the fans behind him solidly as a face. Perhaps even having Cena cash in his MITB on Sheamus, then doing a double cash in right after Cena wins, that way he puts Ziggler over. I realize this will never happen, but if WWE were to think outside the box like that, it would definately establish instant credibility for Ziggler and gain momentum for a face turn. Plus, everyone expects the RAW and SD MITB winners to cash in on their respective brands. This would shock everyone and make a new star in the process.

I think "tweener" at best. Those Dolph Ziggler chants you hear are a testament to his amazing ability and showmanship. I did a post a while back asking the question: Why doesn't WWE pull the trigger already with Dolph Ziggler? I got a lot of heat for that post. Apparently, most people who thread think that the only qualification for being a WWE Champion is having the ability to talk. I happen to think otherwise. Dolph has arrived as a main eventer in my book. The kid works his ass off every night. He even makes other people moves seem more devastating than normal. That is the kind of guy you want to see! He puts everyone's moves over at his own expense, so he's not just elevating his own game, but his opponent as well. How many guys are willing to do that?

If Dolph turns face, it's because the fans made him that way like Stone Cold Steve Austin in late 96' (Yes, he got huge pops before WM13!). I personally think he should remain the cocky heel that he is. It's what brought him to the big dance, plus WWE doesn't need any more babyfaces.

Nowadays a heel who turns face kinda loses his edge. Look at Punk before last years MITB PPV. Not the same guy, in the ring or on the mic. Same goes for Sheamus, monster heel but a lame face. Also, R-Truth who had his best moments as a bad guy. I would hate to see the same thing happen to #HEEL. I can live with tweener, but not a face DZ...

I hope he dumps her I was hoping he was going to it last nite. He will do it soon tho. I think it will go down like this (again thought he would do it right after his match.

She will come out saying how she helped him become Mr MITB and it all because of her and he was nothing before she became his manager. He will take mic off her and say what are you serious i got MITB case cos I am the show off and my skills etc i don't need you you have done nothing for me. I am the show off Mr MITB and the next World heavyweight Champion and i will do it with out you. then he will leave the ring lreaving her screaming in the ring.

I thought the same thing as well that Dolph would eventually feud with Tensai, but this was only if he didn't win MITB. I thought they would give it to Cody, but I am very happy that Ziggler won. I really don't think anything will happen with Vickie siding with Tensai. Instead, I actually see them having Vickie turn on Dolph and siding with Del Rio. Last night, Del Rio basically screwed Ziggler out of almost becoming WHC. I think a feud between Ziggler and Del Rio would be great. Ziggler is a tweener right now, so it will work. Then, Ziggler can move on after officially turning face from feuding with Del Rio and hopefully do a clean cash-in on new WHC after Summer Slam, Wade Barrett.

If Ric Flair could get his contract issues settled sooner then later, I would love to see a scenario where he would lose his MITB contract match because of Vicky costing him the match, then dump her and proclaim he needs a better manager. Have him conduct a "search" for a new manager, maybe even working with random "managers", but not having any success and firing them on the same night. Do that towards a ppv that (if they have) puts him in a match for the #1 contender, then introduce Ric Flair as his manager..

I was thinking even maybe, at the Royal Rumble, Ric Flair's music hits and everyone thinks he's entering the rumble, but he comes out and introduces his new client Dolph Ziggler. Then have him interfere in the match...that would be awesome

I thought of another possible outcome. I've noticed that recently Vickie has been "sweeter" in her speech and persona while still being heel. I also noticed the look she gave Tensai but it could go another way. Vickie is not young and thus vulnerable. If for some reason a monster heel would attack Vickie I think the WWE Universe no matter how much they are annoyed by her would give her a great deal of sympathy. Dolph would then finish his turn by defending and avenging her. This accomplishes a couple of things. 1. Ziggler face. 2. Heat for the Heel. 3.Eventual Vickie turn on Ziggler in the future. I think it would work.

A Ziggler face turn only works well if he turns on Vickie thus winning the audience over. They already cheer Ziggler mostly and boo the hell outta Vickie. It seems like the natural step to take. Plus, it gives Ziggler the opportunity to either sink or swim on the mic. His career will truly be either his to succeed in or his fault for failure.

Does he really need to turn face? Ric Flair worked many years as a heel but got cheered by most of the fans. To me this is the rout Dolph should take. He is getting cheered now as it is, and most times when these heels turn face they lose so much that made them what the fans like to see. So if your asking me I think Dolph stays heel and you know he can evolve his character but he doesnt have to turn face. Keep him the way he is what we love to see and he will do just fine for him self.

That's one of putting it. The other way, also known as the truth, is that the current crop of wrestling fans are probably the most jaded ***** of all time. They don't cheer Ziggler because he's good (evident by the fact that he's not,) they cheer him because they're not supposed to cheer him. If we see him turn face we will also see a gradual turnover of those who used to like him bitching about him because he always wins or whatever kind of ******ed shit these fuckheads come up with these days.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to turn him face, if nothing else, just to help his ring work a little bit. His offense is terrible, there's no rhyme or reason to anything he does. He's of the new "MOVES! MOVES! MOVES!" generation of wrestler who never get anywhere until they learn how to fucking work a match. However, his selling is one of his few redeeming qualities and is also essential to being a good face. If he switch alliances, he could probably get a little better and make it work.

Though he'd probably still be mediocre.
