Will There Be Other Surprises on the 7th?

We all know that Dixe is going to be announcing her big change and it is expected that Mickie James will debut...

Could there be other surprises in the works?

Could we see the surprise debut of Haas, Benjamin, Carlito, Helms, or anyone else?

We all have see how TNA loads on the "surprises" on their live shows and I think it's kind of weird that none of those guys have been signed yet, especially Helms...

It would also be kind of cool to bring those four guys in sort of like a Radicalz stable... It would be cool to see them fued with Fourtune after BFG... WGTT versus Beer Money would be great...

Thoughts?

I think we might see ONE other surprise but not a whole slew of them like on JANUARY 4th. TNA seemingly has a plan/idea of the direction they want to take there product so I don't think they would bring in a lot more people unless they are part of a plan.

I would like to see Haas/Benjamin debut after seeing them in ROH and the phenomenal shape both of them were in, I want them in the tag division. TNA could and probably should hold off on their debut until after BFG and let the GENme have there shot at the titles and then you can bring in an outside team. Kurt Angle is supposedly a big supporter of Haas and Benjamin coming to TNA. And I saw on a website that *RUMOR* Kurt Angle already has put together a plan with TNA if/when they choose to debut Haas/Benjamin in TNA.

As to the "change" Remember Dixie said that it was something we would see and it was not a surprise. So don't expect a "announcement" or anything like that.

I wouldn't put much stock in that rumor. It sounds more like one of those things somebody throws out there because it's believable based on the past. Everyone knows Angle worked with these guys in WWE, so somebody's probably using that to add some credibility to a baseless statement and selling it as a "rumor." It'd be like a "rumor" that Kevin Nash has reached out to HBK about coming to TNA. It makes sense based on their well-known friendship and "The Klique," but they honestly have no idea.

As for the OP...

I have a feeling the 10/7 show will be full of a lot of teases and hints, but the surprises are coming at BFG. They've already got a decent amount of hype going with the 10-10-10 marketing and the widely-assumed notion that something big's going down, so they'll look to capitalize on that with even more hype and teasing and try to get a big payday out of this PPV.

There is real value in giving away all of their plans on an Impact special, live or otherwise. BFG is where it will happen. I really want to see them tie up all the loose ends and start anew There are plenty of angles which need tying up and BFG is the perfect time.

  • The "They" thing needs to come out as does Sting's "deception" angle.
  • EV2 needs to have a bullet put in them.
  • The WHC (and thereby Angle's storyline) needs to be resolved once and for all.
  • The BP/Madison thing needs to end.

Why would they give all this away. As it stands, four or five of the matches that could potentially be on the BFG card are big things for the company.

The "They" thing needs to come out as does Sting's "deception" angle.

I think the "THEY" and "Deception" angles are two different things. So I believe Bischoff may turn heel or something, but still he is not "THEY". I think TNA is just trying to confuse all of us.

EV2 needs to have a bullet put in them.

EV2 needs to go. Make room for some new wrestler(s) and let other(s) shine. There's no room for EV2. PERIOD!

The WHC (and thereby Angle's storyline) needs to be resolved once and for all.

Well, Angle just signed an extension with TNA. That means he will stay there, regardless of the result of the match. I think he is going to win the title, but "THEY" will take over and make their own champ.

The BP/Madison thing needs to end.

YES, please. I'm tired of hearing the same music. Plus Shore and Micki James will debut on OCT 7, so I believe this feud should end.

Well, when asked what Dixie would do if she had more financial backing, she said.

"I'd probably do what I'm going to do on 10/7, but do it bigger."

Maybe it's a new set? Like ramp, a pandatron ( clever? ), pyro, etc? It has to be some visual change. Who knows.

I expect some nice things to happen. I can't wait for The Shore or whatever they are to debut. I might be wrong but I think Rob Eckos is in it? If so -- I fucking love that guy, he's so talented. I want to see what Mickie will do in TNA since I never got to see her perform there before. Overall, I expect lots and lots of build up toward BFG, should be great.

Well it was announced a few weeks ago in one of the promo's that shore is debuting on the 7th, but to answer your question, Yes, i think there is other suprises in the works or at least i hope there is. The one thing that would really screw this up for me though would be if they tried to jam everything into it, like they did January 4th and March 8th.

I think TNA should do some hints to the deception and they angles or just top it off before the angles blow up properly, I'd REALLY like to see Haas and Benjamin debut it would be a total mark out moment for me and Mickie James and Gregory Helms would be great aswell.

Like already said i hope this includes tons of build for BFG, so far the card isn't looking so great but all the feuds going on right now, just makes me want to buy it.

Apparently "THEY" are announced to be at the PPV. That's what it says on the Bound for Glory website anyways....so there's one angle gone!

I think that on the Live Impact on Oct 7 we will most likely see the debut of Mickie James, we will definitely see the debut of The Shore which I'm kind of excited for. I don't think that we will get as many surprises as we did on Jan 4th but their can be other wrestlers debuting, like maybe Helms or Burchill. I think their can also be some type of announcement like TNA will be doing more live show or possibly going on the road for more PPV's and hopefully moving out of that Horrible Impact Zone. All I know is that I'm very excited for the Live Impact on Oct 7.

i'm hoping that on the 7th we will find out that they are at least going live more often. maybe not every week but once and a while. or that they are moving. remember dixie has done some back peddling on what will be happening so it may not be anything all that big. many people think this was all supposed to lead to either heyman or a move to NYC. we know heyman isn't going to happen but the move is still possible just may not be the way it was first planned out.

the show should build to bfg in a big way. bfg has to pay off for tna or they are in real trouble. i love the company but if they don't pull it off they may not last much longer. lets all hope this is going to be epic but i'm afraid it will fall short of the many expectations.

just have to wait and see.

I dunno. It looks like Haas and Benjamin are in the works of signing contracts with ROH but who knows. It would be awsome to see them come to TNA and restart Team Angle. Carlito joining TNA would be very good for him as I could see him being a huge player in the X-Division. If Helms joined he could join a stable with Jeff Hardy and Ink Inc then as we all know Matt Hardy WILL eventually join TNA so you could have Team Xtreme w/ Jeff as World Champ, Matt as TV Champ, Helms as X-Division Champ and Ink Inc as Tag Champs. Mickie James joining TNA would be great too as she would add alot to the Knockouts division with her experience and ASSets. lol

I doubt we will see Benjamin or Haas there since they are with ROH, but it is a possibility to see Paul or Katie Lee Burchill. We may even see Helms. It is pretty much a given that we will see the debut of Shore and Mickie James. Dixie will reveal her big "change" or surprise. There might be some high profile matches, but I don't think we will see anything too surprising this close to the PPV.
