Why The Boogeyman has not been on SmackDown!

That's okay. It wasn't directed at you, rather to some of the earlier ones. I still feel it applies to either or, though. I saw the match on the last Smackdown and I wanted to plant my remote inside the front of my goddamn TV. It's a root problem within the company where they wish to saddle the wrestling around the gimmick, instead of the gimmick around good wrestling (which is the intelligent thing to do). Both of those wrestlers don't need to be in a tag team or fighting each other, as far as I'm concerned. They need a galactically large overhaul physically and conceptually. The booking for that show was stupid beyond belief. They had gimme pops that Regal/Taylor generated (seeing as they were in England, Vince, you dumbshit). The match was horrible because of Kane and Boogeyman's ineptitude in the ring, and the fact they were meant to get a clean job while Kane sat there grinning like an idiot at the Boogeyman's stupid gimmick is purely indicative of where the intelligence is with WWE booking. Where is it, you may ask? 1997-99. Go find it, Vince.

i see promise in the Boogeyman/Kane team.maybe they'll take his character in a darker direction by having him team with Kane.personally i'd rather see these guys as the tag champs rather than those 2 jackasses that have the belts now.you guys talk about the boogeyman's gimmick as being stupid.you don't think that having 2 guys dress like extras from Grease is stupid?

After a few of these comments i have come to the conclusion that the WWE can no longer please some of you. You say you want gimmicks....the Boogeyman is an amazing gimmick. His signature is eating worms which hasnt been done before in the WWE. Sure it might be "stupid" but it goes well with his character to make him seem more deranged and monsterous. He needs work in the ring, no doubt, but so did the last World Heavyweight Champion. Bottom line is Boogeyman is a great gimmick which should not be dropped because the WWE has a serious lack of creative gimmicks as of late.

Thank you Live i totally agree.Give the guy a break.Let's just wait and see where they take his teaming with Kane to.Could be just what he needs to get over.How many other guys had Kane put over in the last few years?

I like the Boogeyman....ok so he cant wrestle but I dont wanna see the WWE filled with Regal and Benoit clones, it would get repetitive and boring imo. You need guys like The Boogeyman for the comedy backstage segments for a change of pace.
Im looking forward to seeing how the Kane/Boogeyman feud with Regal and Taylor plays out, ive enjoyed it so far. For a match with little wreslting invovled I thought the Regal and Taylor vs Kane handicap match was pretty awesome. I dont mind the brawler style of wreslting if guys can do it right which Regal can. I suppose for the brawler style to work the guy needs to be stiff.
Anyway I really hope Regal gets wormed soon just see the look on his face. Regal has the best facial expressions
