why raw is starting at 8 and not 9

could one of the reasons why tonites raw is starting at 8 and not 9 due to the fact that vince is afraid to see the rating of the second hour drop since TNA startes at 10 and the second hour of raw usually starts at 10?

I doubt it. It's more than likley that thet's the only time they could fit them in. I like TNA but I would'nt consider them a treat to WWE yet.

Yeah I think it is the slot they were given. I doubt it had anything to do with fear of TNA because TNA was on for two hours replaying their this is TNA special. Are they scared. We need to stop trying WWE as a paranoid company.

TNA sucks, its no compotition compaired to WWE. Besides, last I heared... TNA was at 9.. Vince wanted the best part of the show to be agenst the time of TNA if it was for comptition...

First of all, if you've ever watched a good TNA match you'd know they obviously don't suck, second off, this isn't the thread to bash TNA in, there's plenty of those threads just search for em if you need to.

The reason why Raw started at 8 I believe was strictly due to time constraints on the USA network. TNA is good but they aren't drawing nearly enough to be considered a threat to WWE at this point.

yeah, but with hogan on the way to TNA..a lot of people will start tuning in to TNA to see what they're gonna do with Hogan.

I know they can't use the n.W.o. trademark, but with Nash in TNA and Scott Hall showing intrest in returning to wrestling via TNA because of the lack of touring schedule, I can just imagine is Fatty Hall can loose all those taco's and burrito's from his belly...hall + hogan + nash = nwo-like stable....call it something different or some shit.

I'm kinda pissed off about them moving the time. It makes it hard to catch the whole show for me and some other younger viewers. I don't think it had anything to do with TNA because TNA is no competition. The matches aren't as good and neither are the story lines.

I don't think the WWE feels threatened from TNA at all. TNA barely scores a 1.0 in the ratings. One the nights when DX or the Undertaker show up on ECW they could even beat them head to head.
