Why is Terkay not getting a push again?

Well, Kahli was just a big person that could not wrestle- that's why it didn't work. I don't think it would be the same for Terkay.

the guy just debuted not long ago, give him time and he'll be pushed

I don't think Terkay was boring. In fact, with Benoit gone, it was Terkay's matches that I looked forward to being that he actually looked like he knew how to pulls off some creative holds, make the slams and suplexes look devastating and effortless, and perform intelligent strikes. The MMA gimmick is not burnt out. If you take a look back at Shamrock's matches, you were seeing an MMA fighter pull off huracanranas and such. Now I don't think Terkay will be doing that, but he can continue as a more power-based MMA fighter.

Perhaps it might be because I'm such a big fan of MMA, but I didn't think his matches were boring. I found it entertaining to see what he was going to do next. I do agree with the fact that the crowd barely reacted to him, but how often are these crowds packed with fans who know the difference between quality wrestling and sheer entertainment? Terkay was pulling off muscle busters, belly to bellies, etc. I think if he begins to move around more in the ring and watch the things that great stars like Samoa Joe does, Terkay can become a great opponent. Imagine Terkay's viciousness against Benoit's technicality. As a technical wrestling fan, I honestly believe that Terkay can do great things for the WWE and their talentless roster

The problem with Terkay is that his gimmick is boring, not the actual person. I don't even get what is gimmick is- unstoppble or something?

Read where Benoit's supposed to be returning to the ring at a Smackdown house show saturday against Turkay so maybe they have been waiting for Benoit to return for Turkay to have his first fued, we might see'm next week on Smackdown.

Sylvestar Terkay sort of reminds me of Gunner Scott- similar styles.

Benoit was helping Gunner Scott out showing him the ropes maybe he'll do the same for Turkay with his in ring ability.

push? she shouldnt of even been signed... he stinks, and has an awful jaw like... he so boring... i have to change the channel when he comes on.

While Terkay is a solid grappler in shoot wrestling, that doesn't translate into a solid career as a pro-wrestler/entertainer. He has the physicals, but he's green as Kermit the Frog when it comes to carrying out a match. He may work stiff and move well, but that doesn't do much more than put him in the same class as other captains of industry like Goldberg and Batista. Also, he spin kicks like a wiener.

He is the Predator and has been a huge star in the Indys and Japan for years...it looks like he finally gave up and signed with the big company and immediatly lose credibility so people like us can claim he sucks. He main evented in Japan. Watch 101 reasons not to be a pro wrestler to see how well spoken and level headed he is.

When he was in Japan did he wrestle for AJPW, NJPW, or one of the other feds? I'm going to try to find some of his other matches if I can. The weird thing is that main-eventing in Japan doesn't always guarantee success over here. This is mainly because the attention span of the average American wrestling fan is next to zero. This is why guys like Scott Norton were never on top over here. Even if they could work well.
