Why is Mark Henry still in the WWE?

Gonna list the three main reasons in order of importance.

3. Mark Henry is big. Vince likes big guys.
2. He has a long term contract.
1. Other than the Michael Hayes incident, I can't remember Henry ever complaining about anything. This is a guy that didn't even bitch about the Mae Young giving birth to a hand bullshit. Is Mark Henry a fantastic wrestler? Fuck no. But is Mark Henry a good employee (errrrr independent contractor)? Yes he is. He doesn't bitch about not being utilized, Doesn't do anything dumb to embarrass the company. Why wouldn't Vince keep a big strong guy that doesn't bitch about everything?

He has a unique look, is capable of handling himself in the ring, and is a decent mid-carder. As mentioned earlier in the thread, he can help put over new wrestlers by having them win against the 'World's Strongest Man'. He is perfect for putting over new big men. Imagine a rookie big man going over MVP, would you be impressed? Now imagine the rookie slamming Mark Henry with authority. That is why Henry is more valuable to WWE than some of the names mentioned that deserve the spot better than Henry.

cause he been there forever and he's the worlds strongest man mark henry.

vince loves guys like him and he's probably the only guy other than the undertaker thats been there consistanly for over 10 years.

and he's pure WWE I dont think he ever wrestled anywhere else they literaly made him and everyone in the locker room loves mark so he's good to keep around backstage.


I think they dropped the ball a few years ago when they had D'lo brown back on the roster they should have put him back with henry cause they were at their best when they were togheter
