Why Do You Like A Particular Wrestler/Wrestlers??

Alex

King Of The Wasteland
Simple question, a bit harder to answer. The wrestlers you like, why do you like them. There's probably several different reasons for each person and it would be interesting to hear them.

I mean I like Jeff Hardy for the simple reason that the guy's creative. His look is unique, and he does creative things outside of wrestling like painting and sculptures and music and while not everybody likes his artwork I like most of them and admire the guy for doing it.

I go by is that wrestler entertaining to me. It could be anything moves, their gimmick, their entrance music, or the stuff they say on promos. Hell as a kid I thought Berzerker was awesome because he piledrivered The Undertaker into the concrete and I thought it was hilarious. I never got into the whole good guys and bad guys thing, I just go by who I like and who I don't.

Theres a lot of them that have done remarkable or unthinkable things that made me like/respect them. Will list a few

Hulk Hogan

The main reason why wrestling appeared on TV. Most memorable heel turn in Wrestling History. The Most talked about Wrestler inside and outside of the Industry.

Stone Cold Steve Austin

The first bad guy to become a Fan Favourite. Top guy of the Attitude Era at a really competitive time in WWF/E. Returning to the ring after a broken neck. Bringing the best out of the owner of the Company.

Sting

Becoming one of the all time greats without setting foot in the top Wrestling company in the World.

The Undertaker

The Streak!! No need to put anymore!

The Rock

Another one of The Attitude Era's great entertainers. Changing Carrear and becoming a top actor. Returning to Wrestling in thanks to what made him who he has become.

Mick Foley

(The unthinkable) putting his body through Traumatic experiences (Hell in a Cell to announce table, Vile Chair shots to the skull from the Rock at the Royal Rumble may ring some bells)

Shawn Michaels

Forming one of the most Flamboyant Tag Teams ever (The Rockers) Going Solo and winning the Royal Rumble after entering first. Forming one of the best Stables in WWE History (DX) Carrying the "Screwjob" around for years.

Goldberg

(The Unthinkable) Jackhammer to The Giant/Big Show.

Tatanka aka Chris Chavis

Not really an all time great or anything but an unforgettable moment for me was shaking his hand and chatting to him before a small event in my hometown.

There are plenty more but i'll stop there or i'll be here forever :)
