Why do I get the feeling John Cena is retiring some time in the next 5 years???

How long does Cena have left in WWE

  • 4-5 Years

  • 5-10 years

  • 10-15 years

  • 15-20 years

  • Time will tell...because it will be by way of an injury (sadly)

I don't think that Cena will ride out his career like Hogan, Sting and Flair. I could see him going down a similar road as HHH, but I think his full time days are numbered. Maybe 5-10 years. Maybe less if he decides to plant some seeds into Nikki Bella. Personally, I think dudes like Big Show, Kane, and Mark Henry are more likely to hang it up in the next couple of years.

I dont think it's unlikely that Cena quits in the next few years. He has made millions from being the top star in the WWE for the past 15 years and is probably financially secure. He might want to settle down and get married and start a family with Nikki Bella. He also might want to quit while he's still healthy and before he gets to banged up and is forced to retire.
Like others have mentioned the WWE would likely try to accommodate Cena if he wanted to work a part time schedule. As we've seen in recent years the WWE is looking for the big star attractions to help draw for the bigger events like Summerslam and Wrestlemania.

He's going to keep going until he physically can't do it anymore. That's the kind of guy Cena comes off to me. He loves this business too much to retire while he can still go, when he physically can't handle the grueling WWE touring schedule then he'll go the Jericho route and pop up a few times a year, then when he declines further he'll pull a Taker and work WM every year until he can't physically work anymore, and I guess that would be somewhere in his mid 60's.
