In my opinion, the thing about Batista is that, since he came back, he's looked downright awful. I was actually a fan of Batista before his injury for what he was, a powerhouse champion capable of plowing through his opponents. The thing about it before v. now is that, before he worked without constant error. He had a series of matches against HHH and I guess it proves how good HHH really is (even though I thought he has been overrated at points) and HHH made Batista look like a million bucks.
As soon as Batista went to Smackdown! and you had him go up against JBL, it was evident how much Batista sucked. His matches against JBL were borderline bad. He improved when he got himself involved in a match against Eddie Guerrero and then a tag team fued with Kane and Big Show (he was joined by Mysterio).
However, since his return, he's looked awful in just about every match. He looks lazy, like he's not trying. He only has about 4 or 5 different signature moves and he ALWAYS messes them up. He can't even pull off his regular arsenal of moves anymore without looking bad... for me, this is why I've not liked Batista as much.
