who's gonna be the next wwe title contender?

it's getting really boring with cena vs.edge every ppv, so who's gonna be the next wrestler going for it? it could be anyone, but i hope it's jeff hardy.
 
cena will probably win the title and then it will be him against orton sometime down the line until his fued with triple h, or they could actually have umaga and cena after his fued with kane (even though this will be horrible i think they will do this.) and then hardy and edge will have a seperate storyline going on for a little while but not for the title i believe
 
I hope Cena and Umaga fued so the WWE can see that both of these dudes suck and no one wants to watch them.
They continue to push Umaga as an unstopable monster and he continues to get absolutely no reaction from the crowd. A thumb?!?! Get the fuck outta here.
 
Umaga. Is. Shit. Fact. Cena has potential if he is given someone good to fued with, I think Orton would be perfect. Seeing as how HBK is taking a break for surgery, I think they'll revisit Cena/HHH and end it in time for Orton/Cena at 'Mania. Orton will be in title fueds for a while after 'Mania, methinks. Not so sure about Cena, I think a move to SD! would help him.
 
Oh yea, forgot to add this: If Umaga fueds for the title it will be the biggest joke since Mark Henry did it.
 
I think Orton vs. Edge. Make Orton a face because Edge is way too good a heel to change him and I like Orton as a face.
 
I think that they should get rid of the separate SD! and Raw rosters so it goes back to the way it used to be before 2003. Then you would have two champions and the ECW champion. Once thats happened, you would have people who are outstanding performers like Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio and RVD fighting for the one of the world titles and HHH, Cena(shit), Batista and Edge etc. fighting for the other. But the next no.1 contender for the wwe title should be Jeff Hardy. Jeff nearly beat Undertaker in a ladder match remember. If you can nearly beat the Undertaker then you can beat Edge. He also beat him this past week on Raw which should give him a title shot.
 
I would say...

Orton vs Edge will be saved for later when one of them is an established face at the time. But what i see in the future is Carlito vs Edge/ Kane vs Edge/ Benjamin vs Cena
 
This is what I hope is gonna happen... Edge defeats Cena at Unforgiven... HBK takes time off for his knee surgery... Fued between Edge and Triple H.... In the mean time Cena turns heal... Triple H defeats Edge for the Title... Thus leading Triple H vs. Cena.... Edge vs. Hbk (when he returns)... And as for Orton at Mania 23... Orton Vs The Rock...
 
Orton is too concerned with his legend killer reputation to care for a title at the moment. He'll face The Rock and Stone Cold in time if they return to the ring. Jeff Hardy for definite is the next contender!! He gonna face Edge in a ladder match.
 
I disagree, I think WWE will be careful to not overdo the whole "legend killer" thing. And I don't think they'll ever do another one at 'Mania. I bet my membership here that it'll be Cena/Orton at 'Mania 23. Then again, WWE have done some pretty stupid stuff in the past (Kane vs Kane, Mark Henry, Umaga, The Great Khali). They'll probably have Orton face a couple of legends leading up to the Rumble, which I think he will win.
 
Yeah, good point. I think Orton will have 1 more legend killer match this year but not at mania. Mania will be him vs. whatever established young guy they have. Whoever may that may be. I'd personally like to see Nitro vs. Orton.
 
I definately see it being Orton, just because, it's something that is most likely to happen in my eyes.
 
There are so many contenders, so why not do another Armageddon Hell in a Cell! That was great. Form just 1 roster and think who you could have?!?!
Batista, HHH, Mysterio, RVD, Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels, Kane, UNDERTAKER, Kurt Angle, Benoit, Umaga, Sabu, Benjamin, Carlito. There are so many possible contenders. I really want it to go back to 1 roster! Someone elaborate on that!!
 
Umaga will face mr cena at survivor series. That is just my prediction maybe umaga wins... who knows...
 
Exactly! Think of the rivalries!!! Batista/Cena, Kane/Undertaker, Mysterio/HBK. Think of the tag team rivalries as well!. Hardy Boyz/Highlanders and Spirit Squad/Kendrick and London
 
I hope to see Orton go for the belt soon, but Shelton Benjamin might also be a good contender or if Monty Brown come to WWE?
 
Orton has talent and charisma but he needs to be an established face before he can compete for the title and win.
