Who Would You Like to See Get the 'Kane/Bryan' Treatment?

It's no secret that when it comes to tag teams, TNA have always been better. Some may disagree, but it's not about that.
The way I see it, Roode and Aries have had the 'Kane/Bryan' treatment. 2 singles wrestlers thrown together and works well.
Now, given the fact that Kane & Bryan have had their time now and it's got boring as hell, Roode and Aries are perfect for this. 2 GREAT heels, and it worked. Can't see it going anything like Beer Money.
Who would you like to see thrown together and why?

Petey Williams and AJ Styles.

Of course, this is only theoretically. AJ's character is basically hitting puberty right now so he doesn't have time for such a venture, but this is the team I'd somehow put together.

They won't be able to cut a decent promo to save their balls, but I'm thinking they might have some good chemistry in the ring and produce some fun matches.

Isn't the "Kane/Bryan" treatment really the "Kane/XPac" treatment?

Anyway, if we're talking about who deserves to be thrown together, the answer is no one. I hate throw-together teams for the sake of throwing them together, unless you're going to give them matching attire, or give them a run of it as a team. I don't want to see two guys just pair up because they have nothing better to do. I want to see a reason for it. We saw that with "Enigmatic Assholes", Beer Money, Styles & Daniels, etc.

But I'll go with it for the sake of discussion. Here's a couple ideas I think might work:

Gunner and Crimson — Paired as a military-type team, considering both men's experience there outside wrestling. I'd even give them a military tactic title as a tag name. Full Blown Chaos, Seek & Destroy, etc.

Matt Morgan & Rockstar Spud — I'm not sure why I see something working here, but I'd be banking this on the "high/low" thing (in fact, that's a decent name for them). Big bad Matt Morgan and a little, brash Spud. Spud would have to go heel to make it work, but ideally he's the loud-mouth little guy with the muscle to back him up.

For TNA I would say Samoa Joe and Eric Young. They kind of have been aligned with Team TNA vs. Aces and 8's and I think EY could lighten up the serious Samoa Joe. Plus they both are solid in the ring but Young has always been better in a team enviorment.

If they insist on keeping Joseph Park in his current role and don't have plans to bring him back as Abyss, then they should probably put him in a tag team with someone athletic. Magnus came to my mind first. Could put on some quality matches and have some fun segments. Magnus just needs a shot of personality.

First off, since this seems to be becoming a thing, I'm going to call it "the test/booker t treatment" because I can"t be arsed to think farther back.
Now, as to who? They already did Samoa Joe and Magnus. I really liked them together and even though they were ultimately used to make Bad Influence look strong, I think they looked great during the run they had.

As far as good individuals who could be thrown together to good effect. I would love to see Petey Williams team with Joseph Park. I picture the segments like the traditional "little guy bully who just talks for the big guy bully, who will beat you up if you don't make the big guy happy by doing whatever the little guy is telling you to" situation, but in reverse. I would love to see Joseph begging guys not to make Petey any madder than he is already. That way Petey can just stand there being "the definition of definition" and never needs to talk. Of course, at the end, they both beat the guy up, but it would make for some fun mike work.

I also have been wanting to see Sonjay Dutt and Matt Morgan team for years. I wonder if Sonjay could do a Hindu press off of Matt's shoulders.

Just for giggles, how about Eric young tag teaming with Super Eric? They could do it with a double, like with JYD and Stagger Lee.

I would like to see the Gunner and Crimson team. Both were decent, and if they have been honing their skills while they have been off tv then I think they could be a force in the tag division.

totally agree with the above three points. i've never liked it when tag teams were just thrown together without a reason. but if it's gonna happen, at least put some effort into it and give them a team entrance, matching outfits, a name and a finishing move.

Gunner/Crimson would or at least could be a pretty amazing combo. i'm probably in the minority but i actually like both guys and seeing them on tv again would make me happy. i can't think of a name they should go by, but this is a team i'd be interested in watching develop.

Morgan/Spud sounds like a good idea, but i don't know enough about Spud to give him my full support. maybe like Morgan/Petey Williams or Morgan/Eric Young. same idea as the Morgan/Spud in that it's the little loud mouth with the big muscle to back him up. i've always been a fan of the high/low combinations that different tag teams used and this would be no exception.

i think the Aces and 8's should have two guys that are strictly tag team guys. D-von has never impressed me as a singles star but i like him in tag action, so i'd put him in there. same goes for Doc, who may get my vote for one of the worst names ever. still, D-von/Doc could be the official tag team of the A's & 8's and go for the titles. finishing move could be called the "Dead Man's Hand" or something to that effect.
