Who Should Feud With Dolph Ziggler?

The Greatest Rock Band in WWE History...I think the answer is pretty simple based on the fact that I want to see 3MB destroyed.

It depends on where Dolph Ziggler goes from here. The popular choice seems to be The American Dragon Daniel Bryan. That's cool, fresh and I'd love to see it. I'd even love to see Kane. Mysterio could be cool too. However; I want to see something else first. Del Rio gets his rematch obviously. I'd rather see Ziggler take on someone in transition right now. Someone like Kofi, Barrett or Orton.

Kofi needs something. When was the last time he had any momentum as a singles performer? Barrett is doing nothing with the IC title. Perfect example is him losing and regaining it within 24 hours. It's a placeholder for him to stay in the spotlight until something presents itself. A Barrett Ziggler fued would be really interesting. Agility against brutality would be a cool angle. Where in the hell is Orton's heel turn? Give that guy something to do that doesn't involve wasting his talent and time.

YES! Thank you!

I love Kofi. He's been this insanely dominant champ in my copies of WWE '12 and '13 too. I just love the dude and I think he has this unique style, a ton of charisma, and I don't think they've really tapped into his full potential yet.

As far as the rest of the guys named, it's a laundry list of the top talent today. I would flip out for a feud with any of these guys. Del Rio and Ziggler is fine with me. I'm really holding out hope for D-Bry vs Bryan though.

Dolph Ziggler with that championship and stable are looking pretty sweet right about now.

I think Dolph Ziggler would have a great run RETAINING the championship primarily by cheating to win matches in various creative ways.

  • Ziggler vs. Del Rio at Extreme Rules
He can have Zeke help him win a match by squashing Del Rio for a countout win
  • Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho at Payback
Ziggy can have BigE squash Christian and Jericho stands up for him
  • Ziggler vs. Kane vs. Daniel Bryan at Money In The Bank
He can beat Team Hell No by using AJ leading up to the match
Smackdown MITB Match: Fandango, Swagger, Jericho, Christian, Del Rio, Cesaro

One thing I would like to see Dolph Ziggler do as a heel is say he's willing to take on "all challengers" before MITB with which Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Sin Cara and JTG respond only for him to individually defend the belt on Smackdown against all the lesser stars and win via cheap heel tactics like putting his legs on the rope or even better use The Rock's tape recorder in an "I Quit" match. But the ONE thing I would like Dolph's reign to bring about is Big E vs. Sheamus, Kane or Christian

Zig's next feud with be with Hornswoggle and will become the first midget world champ...... if only that were possible.

Now to be a bit more serious with it. I've got a feeling that the next big feud for Dolph will be with somebody completely unexpected, considering that they really haven't built anybody up to run a program with. It may infact be Chris Hero after he drops that dumbass name he's using now and just shows up to remind Zigs that he was better as the male cheerleader.

Well of course, we're going to see a string of rematches between Del Rio and Ziggler. After that, I'd love to see a feud between Orton and Ziggler. WWE doesn't have to put the strap on Orton, but Randy is still a strong contender for both world title pictures. I think Punk would be a longshot. I'm sure WWE could work Punk into the title picture, and both men have proven they work well together in the ring. But WWE would have to turn Punk face for something like this to work. And I can't see it happening, because Punk is still the best and clear cut choice to be WWE's #1 heel.

I wouldn't want to see a feud with Sheamus. I don't know about the rest of you, but seeing Ziggler eat the Brogue Kick, while shooting himself across the ring for 10,000 time won't do anything for me. Then again, Sheamus VS Ziggler could help setup a Big. E Langston VS Sheamus feud, because you know the big man is going to protect Dolph at all costs. Daniel Bryan would be another good choice, because Bryan deserves some meaningful material after Team Hell No splits up and drops the tag titles.

Ziggler has a nice pool of potential contenders, but the pressure is on the Show Off. It's put up or shut up time for Dolph, because he doesn't have anymore excuses to lean on right now.

Well interesting question to say the least. Sheamus and Orton are both out because really, given Ziggys small stature there is no way in hell were supposed to believe that ziggy can beat someone of their sizes without help. I do like the idea of Christian. CM Punk is taking time off to heal up and recoup. Lord knows that guy deserves it. This leaves Daniel Bryan.

True enough at some point Team Hell No is going to break up. (On a side note cant tag teams stay together for more than a year or so)? I wouldn't be interested in seeing a PPV match between those two TBH! That kinda match belongs on smackdown or something. But Christian would add excitement to the match.

Dolph is a talent no doubt but christian could sell the match by himself doing all the talking about ONE MORE MATCH! The returning Christian will be a face so Dolphs next challenge after he finishes off Berdy should be Christian! I doubt many people would think of that feud!

Honestly, I would like to see someone new. Im not a huge fan of Daniel Bryan, but they have people like Alex Riley in the back with huge potential. Riley did a hell of a feud with Miz, and I would bet that he could do the same with Ziggler. Honestly, I am tired of seeing the same people in the picture. I think in the words of VKM its time to shake things up. Have someone so unexpected it blows our minds. Fandango?

Edit: WZ has a poll up asking about who we want. It mentioned someone I really didn't even think of. How about Damien Sandow. He is great on the mic, decent in the ring, and could bring out some good competition. If not him how about Cody?

Also, if Morrison worked on his promos and returned, Id love to see him reignite his feud with Dolph Ziggler and get a shot at the title. those two use to be pretty in sync with each other in the ring. Just imagine if they could have a 20 - 30 minute match

I actually would like to see Wade Barrett go into a feud with Ziggler, especially if Barrett wins MITB this year. Arguably Dolph benefitted from the injury he caused to Barrett as Wade was the original choice for the case last year. Use that injury, with Barrett blaming Ziggler for the injury and damaging his career. It would be a good feud, based somewhat on reality with scope for both guys to be the face and heel at different times.

We probably won't see that and Kofi Kingston seemed likely before his US title win. Big Show is going to be out the picture now this Lawsuit stuff is going on... but there are some potential returns that would work really well for Zig over the next few months... indeed have them all...

Why not have Ziggler saying that as he beat everyone over the year he held the case, that he refuses to face any of the roster and Booker has to "bring in" talent in a way similar to WWE doing last year with 3MB.

First to return would of course be Christian, who could take Zig to a great match and not lose momentum. Next could be Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Matt Hardy and finally of course... Batista could come in and win the title.

All of those are either due a return after a long time out or have been discussed for a full-time return in the last 6 months. Would it be harsh on someone like Cody Rhodes? yes, but if he was ready for the title, he'd be holding it. All of those names could come back for a RAW or PPV title match over the next 4 months and add something to the roster and the shows themselves. If Brock v Batista is due for Summerslam or Survivor Series then there is plenty of time to give Ziggler a memorable run with those opponents.

I think he will continue his fued with Del Rio after Extreme Rules and then possibly against Randy Orton.

Orton hasnt been in the title picture for a while and their matches on Smackdown a few months ago were great!

I would like to see a feud with Randy Orton. Orton would take Ziggler to the limit, and Ziggler could really benefit from beating a veteran like Orton. Orton hasn't been in the World title scene for a while so it would also seem fresh. I could see Daniel Bryan as another option down the road as well as Sheamus.

CHRIS JERICHO
Jericho and Ziggler have Faced each other a couple of times now and I have always found there matches to be entertaining, So having them face each other again for the World title could be a very good thing. Plus if Ziggler wants to cement his place on the roster then he is going to need to go through guys like Jericho to achieve that.

RANDY ORTON
While WWE seem to still be punishing him after his last wellness violation, The Fans seem to still love Randy and they pop hard everytime his music hits and with Ortons ability to make even the worst wrestlers one the roster look good having him face Ziggler seems like a no brainer.

DANIAL BRYAN/KANE
With team Hell No being Majorly over at the moment and with both men having history with AJ, it makes Bryan and Kane obvious choices to face Dolph and If WWE do intend to split them up at somepoint, maybe having both of them face Ziggler at the same time could be the ideal way to split team Hell No up.

The Miz. (Partially just because the same band does their entrances and they're both great) The Miz could play off that Ziggler modelled his career after his own. They started off as goofs (someone actually acknowledging Ziggler being in the spirit squad, Miz would eat that up on Miz TV) but after ditching their teams (he turned on Morrison after a draft one year) They tore it up for the US and IC belts, until cashing in MITB on a weak champion because they were great and screw anyone that said otherwise.

Ziggler would take shots at Miz's partnership with flair, playing on the smarks hate for his baby face turn by saying her compares to flair more than Miz does (looks, flash, dirty tactics) Both have submissions they go to to finish matches Though Miz doesn't have back up like Ziggler with Langston, but the big payoff match would need to have Miz take Langston out before hand and overcome interference by AJ if he were to win he belt. If done right it could be a great summer or late year feud.
