Who Should Be Joe's Tag Team Partner?

After what happened last night at Victory Road we saw Samoa Joe win the TNA Tag Team Championship belts and thus he is the holder of both belts. Now since he has both belts he needs to pick a tag team partner or will he go solo.

I think Joe being the way they have building this huge match between Angle and Joe for the TNA Championship I can see Joe picking Kurt and making him his puppet as he says. But then you know i can easily see Joe just holding on the belts and going solo.

Any Ideas?

I think they will kind of do what the WWE did when Cena and HBK got tag titles. I think Angle and Joe would work well for awhile, but when Joe gets his title shot he would betray Angle. But I can also see him keeping both belts.

I see TNA keeping him solo..they can put him against some of the weaker tag teams and let them get some exposure and get Joe over huge at the same time..

I say he goes with Kurt Angle, strictly to piss Angle off and get a TNA Title shot. Joe is something of an island to himself. Chris Harris will be too busy with Dustin Rhodes, Rhino too busy with James Storm.

i can see him going solo. i can picture him coming to the ring on impact and saying that he doesnt need anybody else's help and then challenge kurt angle for the tna heavyweight championship and then winning it, thus holding all the titles

Joe will be the first to hold every title and seeing as there is an x division no1 contender i see the contender chris daniels taking the belt away from him but joe keeping the world heavweight and tag belts. Seeing as that would explain why not both belts were on the line coz Daniels is only x division contender.

I realy dont know who he could team with i could see him teaming with someone new to TNA if they signed anyone new. I heard Goldust or Goldberg (one of them 2 anyway) was backstage at victory road.

I think it would be cool if they brought in Brock Lesnar to be his partner. It would be good to see Lesnar in the picture after Kurt Angle won the IWGP championship against him. Probably won't happen, but it would be interesting.

Everyone that is complaining about Joe and his lack of push, it maybe time to shut the hell up. Patience is what I've been saying for months, and it looks like TNA is going to push Joe to the moon. I say Joe is going to hold the tag titles by himself, the X-Division title, and he's going to take the strap off of Kurt Angle. If that doesn't say push, then honestly, people need to wake up.

I think the main feeling here is that is will be Angle, and the second option is some sort of tournament. There's really nothing there storywise that would make Joe pick anyone else.

I love Joe it was just because he was wrestling for other promotions he didnt get a major push and now he does less of wrestling for other promotions.

BTW Joes push is astromical, a high profile fued with Angle who is a multiple time world champ and olympic medalist is amazing. I mean look who Angle could have gotten one of his old WWE superstars or Sting?

Partner 1 - Kurt Angle. Much like Cena/Michaels where they tease turns on each other and challenge for the TNA wolrd title.

Partner 2 - Goldust. He is rumoured to be debuting in TNA at the next set of tapings. Probably wise not to be a freak though.

Partner 3 - Brother Runt. Just to piss of Ray & Devon. lol, like this is ever going to happen. Would be funny though.

Partner 4 - Rick Steiner. With Scott out injured he could chose Rick since he is an accomplished tag team wrestler. Would also turn Rick face.

Here is the PERFECT scenerio for Samoa Joe and his belts. He should pick non other than TRIPLE X to be his tag team partner. This would put a new twist on an old idea of where every time Joe defends the tag team titles, the opponents never know which member of Triple X will be tagging with Joe until the bell rings and one of the three member who accompanies Joe to the ring actually jumps up on the apron. This would create secrecy and ratings as people would tune in to see Joe's quest towards the World title with his new faction making sure that each match is flawless along the way. Joe would then go on to beat Angle, with Triple X's helps of course, and he would give them the X-Division and tag team titles in return for their troubles, making them the strongest faction in TNA, with everyone chasing them for gold. It would help Joe in his quest, while keeping Angle looking strong, and give Triple X a push. I mean why have a team return if they aint gonna come back with a vengence, right?

I know this is probably unlikely, but why not Jeff Jarrett?, I think that would be a great choice, especially whaen you take into consideration that there really is no one else on the roster at this point that would fit, Jarrett could come in and shock everybody with his return, and help put Joe further over, then they could spin it into a retirement storyline for Jarrett as well, with Angle coming in and attacking, Jarrett during a tag title match costing them the tag titles, and leaving Jarrett with a career ending injury, cornette would then give Joe a Title shot against Angle (Angle would also cost Joe the X-Diovsion title as well), then at whatever PPV the Joe Angle match takes place, Jarrett would come in toward the end of the match and smash a guitar over the head of Angle, Joe would then take advantage and score the win becoming the new TNA World Champion

To answer your question, Booker T runs a promotion in Houston, and he had the Dudleys and Umaga there at his show. This is the reason Umaga has the TNA tag belt on his shoulder. I'm not sure if it was a run in, or if this was just in jest. It's real though, but means nothing.

Booker did this to spite the WWE for being switched to Raw, and now he is being spited back by being forced to job to Triple H.

But Umaga is not the mystery partner, no Samoan Swat Team Part II, as cool as that would be, i guess.

i think handing it over to angle is a bit too obvious.

I'm stuck as to this should be. Kurt Angle would be good, but to keep all the belts on just two people is a dumb idea. Maybe they should bring in a surprise guy from another company. They should bring in someone like Austin Aries, someone that's got a cool image and awesome wrestling skills. Otherwise, team him with an X Division guy like Sonjay Dutt. Just make sure it'll be someone he can have entertaining matches with!
