Who is your favorite wrestler, to never hold the WWE or WCW championship?

Pre-Show Stalwart
Alright, so when I write this, people from ECW who held the ECW title can be named in here. Being a big fan of Original ECW, I wish some of the people would have gone on to win the WWE or WCW gold. There were many great wrestlers, who got thrown to the side, and it sucks, cause these people are great. But if I had to pick anyone person, it would have to be....

Taz (The one Z taz) Now, Taz held the ECW world Heavyweight Championship two times. But the biggest championship he held in any other federation was the Tag Titles with Spike Dudley. Taz is in my 10 ten best wrestler list, because the guy could do it all. He was the Human Suplex Machine, and no, that's no pretty name. He could do them all. He was a fantastic Judo fighter. He was entertaining to watch, and I believe if he didn't break his neck in ECW, he would have wrestled for several more years. But when he came to WWF, he ended Kurt Angle's undefeated streak at Royal Rumble 2000. He won the hardcore title a few times.

Taz (by now, tazz) would wrestle some main events. He challenged Stone Cold for the belt, he wrestled Triple H when he was WWF champ, and Tazz was the current ECW champ. But people believe, when HHH beat Tazz when he was champ, it didn't look good for ECW. (Even Vince McMahon believes so) But Taz, he never got his hands on a mid card single title. In my eyes, the man should have held the World title, he was great.

Now, Who do you guys think should have won the strap? Old school fans, maybe Piper? 90's fans, maybe Davey Boy? 2000 fans, Dean Malenko? Your choice, thanks for reading.

The first match I watch involved AJ Styles and I think Christian Cage. Both are good. But AJ Styles is Phenomial. He has won everywhere but the WWE. He was in the WCW and WWE for a too short of a time to get in the title picture. Everywhere else he has won. TNA would not exist without AJ Styles.

Lance Storm never truly had a chance in W.W.E to become a World Heavyweight Champion, but one of the above pictures is shown of him in W.C.W, during a period in time when he was one of the biggest Heels and top level Mid-card, low level Main Eventers on the roster. He even had a Championship match on Nitro with Booker T, in which some people felt Storm had a genuine chance to become Champion.

I think Lance Storm would've been a great option to become Heavyweight Champion for multiple reasons. He has in-ring Wrestling talent, and good mic skills. He can play off being a heel to Americans, and a favorite to Canadians and possibly the rest of the International World.

Storm never seemed to get over with W.W.E fans, mainly because he was more of a story-teller through his in-ring work, not his personality or charismatic abilities. Which some would claim to be his weak points, but the true fact is.. he played off being "serious" because he could. He was all business, and people hated him for it. (so, obviously, it worked)

To me its a choice between two without properly thinking. The two candidates are Christian and William Regal. Now i know that Christian will surely get a World Title soon other than the ECW Championship he deserved it years ago, For years he has been a very good wrestler and maybe if he didnt skip to TNA he would of has his shot. William Regal is Another who has been in the buisness for years and hasnt even had a world title shot, hes a really good wrestler and plays a good heel and i believe would make a good world champion even if it was for a short while.

These are my thoughts you dont have to agree with me but hey.

Of those that have never held either but have competed in at least one of those companies, I'd have to go with quite a few.

The first is The Genius. He played his character perfectly, and put on some top drawer matches, but was pretty much a career jobber to the stars. Apart from beating Hogan, he didn't do very much, but he did introduce real high flying to America.

Mr. Perfect had some fantastic matches, and was an absolutely superb character throughout his WWF tenure and wasn't too shabby in WCW either. His matches with Bret Hart are excellent, to say the least.

Finally, guys like the British Bulldogs and other career tag teamers were fantastic in their singles careers too. The list is literally endless for me, but I'd say the Dynamite Kid has to be one of the most entertaining wrestlers never to hold a major singles title.

Well for me it was Roddy Pipper this guy was hugely over as a heel and he even had big major feuds with Hogan, Savage, Warrior and Bret Hart. how does this man get so misused in a time when they had plenty of main event talent but Hogan kissed to much ass for anyone other then him be in the spotlight. i could go on and on Ted The Million Dollar Man, Davey Boy Smith, Owen Hart, Ron Simmons. the list goes on and on the talent that never had a chance was simply ridiculous. another travesty was Mr. Perfect. this man was simply the greatest promo guy ever and ring skills all wrapped in one. you know the one time i almost shit was when he was in the 2002 Royal Rumble where HHH had to win. but the way Perfect was booked made me think he might win the dam Rumble. he was given a really strong showing especially for being well past his prime and still looked really good shape. he was the king of in ring skills and mind games.

This guy could have been a huge star. He had tremendous in-ring talent and know how to work with the crowd. The whole canadian storyline from renaming the belts to changing the rules of matches was a hoot. He gets my vote aswell.

I would have to say Raven he can put on a great hardcore match and can put on great non hardcore matches for an original ECW wrestler. He has near perfect mic skills, people tend to forget that about him and should've been a world champ I mean look at who's had the WWE title The Great Khali who can't even wrestle a match and Jeff Hardy who's basically a high flying raven that's bad at promos.
Just to be a smart ass CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and The Great Khali technically are elliglble because they won the WHC not WWE championships

my vote goes to Mr perfect he was just plain awsome he put on matches that wer un matched with guys like brett hart

I believe Curt Henning had huge potential to be WWE Champion or WCW Champion. He was a former AWA Champion but never got to the main event level he deserved. I think that Owen Hart if he were alive today could of been huge, Owen would of been called The Game or King of Kings IMO.

There are a number of wrestlers I liked that have never held the World titles in WCW or WWE. Lance Storm, Raven, Tazz, Dean Malenko, Shane Douglas etc... but the one guy I would have loved to see hold one of those belts is Curt Hennig

Probably the one guy who had it all that was never given his due with either company. Bret Hart and Mr Perfect feuding over the WWF title with Perfect eventually getting the win after so many near misses would have been possibly one of the greatest feuds of all time. I honestly believe it could have been epic (more so than Shawn and Bret).

It's gonna have to be "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. No one, and I mean no one knew how to fuck with Hulk Hogan as much as Piper did. The guy was such a talented performer it was unreal. His heel heat was so awesome that the fucker actually started riots. Sure Hulkamania was going strong at this point, but he shouldve been given a run with the title. As it would have made Piper an even bigger heel for taking the title of Hogan, and keeping it away from him for a while, just as it would have made Hulk Hogan even more over by finally taking the belt back off of Piper. Roddy Piper is probably the best to never hold either title. He gets my vote.
