Who is better, Morgan or Hernandez?

Yesterday while i was watching TNA the match between Morgan/Hernandez vs Team 3D it got me thinking who is the best and better wrestler between morgan and hernandez? Both of them are monsters there big and buff,They could destroy any one that gets in there way.Yeah there the TNA Tag Champs. But who is better between these two monsters?

Well, Hernandez gets the better crowd reaction, because he does more throws and high flying. Morgan doesn't really toss people about the ring, he slams and hits them. Crowds tend to ooo and ahh more at a throw and a dive.

That being said, I think Matt Morgan is the better wrestler because he has a better look, he's better on the mic and I think he's a slightly smarter in-ring performer. Hernandez is a great powerhouse, but he's a bit one-dimensional. Morgan can adapt to different styles better in my opinion.

I would say Hernandez, because since he is shorter he's more stout and bulky. Morgan has a lot of lean muscle with the height. Hernandez is going to have the larger BMI and a closer center of gravity. Former football player vs. former basketball player....I would bet on the football player any day. Though I would like to see both of them improve their in ring skills.

I don't think you can really determine who's the better wrestler. Of course, people would have their own opinion. I think, although they're both huge and monsterous, that they have very different styles. Super Mex is obviously stronger, and he does some killer flying moves for a big man, but Morgan has a lot of slams and unorthodox hits. It's really a toss up if you ask me.

I would honestly day Hernandez. He flys around more than Morgan does. The Blueprint is a beast, and he is deserving a title run. However to me Hernandez is a more versatile wrestle than Morgan who has a bunch of slams and unorthodox hits. Hernandez has been around for a long time and deserves a major push.

I think Hernandez is better. Afterall, he is the better worker. Plus TNA didn't really have to force Hernandez to get over like they've done with Morgan. Hernandez being pushed seemed more natural. TNA had to do alot to get Morgan over. They had to team him up with Abyss just to end in a feud, they ran an angle where he wanted to be in the Main Event Mafia, he feuded with Angle, and now he's in a tag team with Hernandez. And all of this is happening just to give him a rub which is great but TNA didn't have to do that with Hernandez. He got over based on his wrestling alone. Hernandez is the better out of the 2. Hernandez wrestles his ass off and has all types of ability for a big man. I think he's the best big man today. I'm not taking anything away from Morgan but I think he's not really really there yet but he can be a good asset to TNA in the future if used correctly. But right now, Hernandez is just more of a resource to TNA imo.

ill get flack from TNA fans for this, but i think both are complete busts... if morgan was going to be champion someday, it wouldve happened already, same with hernandez, thats why they just seemingly waisted his feast or fired case... both are big guys, but i dont think either really has the "look". hernandez did when he head homicide next to him and they wrestled x-division guys, making him look gigantic, but now as "supermex" i think hes a little bland, i like him better as a vato-loco... morgan was a complete bust in WWE, so he got picked up by TNA and was billed (and i think still is) as a 7' monster... hes freaking 6'7''!!! yeah when you put him up next to MCMG he looks like andre the giant, but as soon as he was in the ring at the same time with Nash, he got dwarfed by the 4'' taller big sexxy... neither can speak on a mic, neither can carry a match (both have been involved in great matches (for TNA), but werent the "shot-callers") and neither has that it factor. morgan needs some rogain and a nose job, and "supermex" has to admit that hes not a real cholo, but merely a kid with a hispanic parent and last name. and stay in the "no-limits" x-division in samoa joes place from 3 years ago, beating the hell outta the lil guys and in the process showing off his high flying skills, cuz you know that as soon as he tries to get that spot in in a match against angle or kennedy or any self-respecting main-event wrestler, his opponent will refuse and hes back to the mid-card... good luck to both these guys, cuz in the long run, i do want the product to succeed, but as of right now... the jury is still out...

Hernendaz is the better wrestler, but Morgan is natural. His character screams out superstardom. I cant wait for their single match at BFG 6 (hopefully), it's like a dream match for wrestling fans, especially TNA fans. The question is 'Who will be champ first'. I think Hernendaz.

I actually like them both, Hernandez I've always liked, Matt Morgan took longer for me, he still had a stigma of failed WWE superstar, once I learned that that actually means fuck all in reality, as it really doesnt matter if someone came from another company or whatever, it's what they can do for the company they're in, I came round with Morgan and realised that he's actually pretty fucking good.

I suppose I like Hernandez more, that doesnt make him better as such, he's just the one I prefer, although I'd be happy, actually very happy to see either of these guys in TNA Main Events sometime in the near or maybe more distant future.

Okay, Hernandez is a better wrestler, but Morgan has better mic skills. Hernandez gets over with the crowd; he can actually wrestle smoothly, like it's natural to him; and he can make people look better in the ring. Morgan can speak well, but he's too stiff and for someone who's been in wrestling a while, he's very green. He makes stupid mistakes in the ring and tries too hard to win over the fans. If Hernandez can work on his mic skills, he could go farther than where he is now.

Flying around doesn't make you a better technical wrestler, it just shows you know how to be more spotty and "woo" the crowd with things that look dangerous, but in no way shape or form technical.

Morgan comes from NCAA wrestling, he's got amateur wrestling in his background. If he wanted to, he could throw down with Kurt Angle and keep up with him for the better part of the match. Hernandez doesn't have the technical ability that Morgan has.

If we were to throw together a match that threw kayfabe out the window, and just had them go at each other Amateur style, I am 100% confident Morgan would walk all over Hernandez and expose why technical wrestling makes you a better wrestler than someone who can punch hard and do high flying moves (which, in this said example, could not work because Logic dictates anyone would simply move out of the way).

Morgan has my vote.

I really don't think either are that great, but anyone is better then the steaming pile of shit that is Matt Morgan. Morgan is average on the mic, average at best in the ring, and is a just a big waste of space. Hernandez can at least put on a decent match with other people not named Kurt Angle.

Hernandez is a better wrestler.. but his mic skills are meh.. I mean his spanish is bad too. He has a strong american accent, meaning he is not fluent. They should stop having him talk spanish, its not needed. But he does need some catch phrases..

Matt Morgan, is charismatic, and better all around. Even though Hernandez looks stronger and is a better wrestler. Morgan is better on the mic and the crowd reacts to him.. His match with Angle was great a few months back so he CAN wrestle as well. Personally I think they are saving him for later to battle AJ. i also think they are saving Desmond Wolfe for AJ too for later in the year.

Matt Morgan has more upside.

Also Hernandez is 37 or 38 now right?

I would go with Hernandez. Before this last Thursday, I would have said Morgan, but in watching their match, I noticed a couple of things about Morgan. You can see him dip a shoulder and prepare himself for contact. That takes me out of a match. Supermex just kinda takes it. Morgan also has the tendency to get lost in the ring. He just seems out of place.

Now, I love them both. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan. It's just that you asked me to pick, and I choose Hernandez. He looks more realistic.

If this thread was called who is better a steaming shit with legs or Matt Morgan, the answer would be the same. Morgan is a terrible wrestler, which is a shame as he seems a reasonably nice guy in those little videos they show. He no sells absolutely everything, he pre-empts everything that he is going to do in the ring and he is monotonous on the mic, though he is improving there. I think Hernandez puts on entertaining matches, if nothing else, and therefore has to be the better wrestler.

I'm going with Morgan. I have always been more drawn to him than Hernandez. I like them both and I think the team between the two will do wonders for the both and I do see both as future main eventers. But when it comes down what attracts me as a fan, it's Morgan all the way. He, to me, is better on the mic and is more fun to watch in the ring. I think Matt could be better in the ring but his program with Angle and MEM got me really into "The Blueprint".

I am a huge Hernandez fan, but Matt Morgan is more complete. He have the ring skills, the "Superstar" look and already been with a Global Company. Hernandez have the ring skills, but cannot speak on the mic and he looks like a Thug. You do not want you kids to be cheering for the "Thugz?" That is why Cryme Tyme will never be Tag Champions and this is coming from a African American.

Morgan has my vote.

So the fact that (in your opinion) Morgan would win in a shoot match makes him a better wrestler? With that logic, Khali must be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Anyway, I'd say Hernendez. Morgan is better on the mic, but Hernendez is more exciting and IMO better in ring, and I think he has a much better connection with the fans either as a face or a heel.

Matt Morgan is fucking horrible. Why can't people see this? He has improved a little, but he just went from completely shitty to only kind of shitty. The only arguably good match he has ever been in was his match with Kurt Angle and Angle was responsible for 99% of that. On the mic his promos are generic. He is just a big waste of space. I will never get the appeal of him and why anyone thinks he's good is beyond me.

Morgan is better than Hernandez. Both of them have the abilities to eventually get to the top one day.... but I am far more entertained by Morgan because he has a better entrance, he's better in the ring, more believable as a future champion, and MUCH better on the mic. Whereas Hernandez is just another big guy who's more decent in the ring than most of the bigger wrestlers are.

I gotta go with Hernandez. I'm not sure whether I like Matt Morgan or I think he's a piece of shit. I think his finishers are kind off cool but he hasn't his the Hellevator for ages, other than that I find him pretty shit and his only good matches have been with AJ and Kurt Angle, but its pretty hard for the to have a bad match with them to. Hernandez though is great. He thoroughly entertains and I look forward to his matches unlike Morgan who I have now decided is shit. The only thing Morgan wins at is the ability to speak on the mic but he is still pretty shit at that whilst Hernandez can barely speak English.

So in conclusion I find Hernandez a lot more entertaining and I look forward to his matches and would love to see him in the main event.

I'm a huge Morgan fan, but you can't compare apples to oranges. As a face, Hernandez sucks, and as a heel, Morgan is crap. But, Morgan is a solid face, and worked a very good feud with Angle. Hernandez is an epic heel. As part of LAX, he was truly amazing, and he has the look of a badass tough guy.

This is a case of the team being less than the sum of the parts, and in a few weeks/months, we'll get to see them feud, and that will let us know who's better one-on-one.
