Exactly, Hogan refuses too loose. He should of let Randy Orton beat him at Summerslam, I mean he was injured aswel. I know he has done so much for the wrestling industry but ill be happy when he retires.

when it comes to skill it's flair. but when it comes to charisma, popularity and staying/drawing power, it's hogan.

It all depends on “better” at what. I think Hogan is a better entertainer (though Flair is not bad himself), and Flair is a better overall ring performer. Flair has better wrestling abilities, although both men are capable of putting on memorable matches. I think they are equals in terms of their places in history.

I totally agree with peopleschamp. I would have to add that Hogan IMO is by far the bigger icon of two, and had more of an influence in putting the business on the map. However, they are both great in their own right.

Hogan has had more influence, I respect that. But Flair is just great, I have never seen anybody sell a move as good as him. Flair is a better wrestler, but I respect both for what they have done for the industry.

i was born in the middle of hulkamania and i started watching wrestling at a very young age so naturally hogan is my favorite but as i've gotten older and learn more about wrestling i think flair is the greatest of all time. he's fought and beaten almost every major star of the 70s, 80s, 90s and even 00s. hogan will ALWAYS be the biggest draw in the industry even if he's 70 and has to use a walker to get to the ring. i went to summerslam 05 to see him and hbk and honestly it was the second greatest moment of my life..to see the man that i idealized since i was about three was indescribable. that's the kind of effect that hogan has had on the fans and i think flair is number two when it comes to that but going on mic skills and in ring ability flair is clearly number one. if flair is number 1 hogan is 1a.
