Who is a better wrestler Chris Jericho or Kurt Angle?

I think both of these wrestlers are great on the mic and in the ring, but which one is the better one and why. Here is who I think is better.

I think Chris Jericho is a better because he has gotten better and better since he has returned. He will put someone over like Evan Bourne, Christian, Hart Dynasty, etc and he does it without a problem. His mic skills are just through the roof and he can generate heat when he wants to by using big words that no one really knows. Kurt Angle is really good though still, but Chris Jericho in my eyes is better.

It's Kurt Angle and there's not even anything to argue about that.

Kurt has awesome matches with anybody, and can work with anybody in any kind of match. He has the ability to do some high flying moves, as well as he's a very very well rounded ground grappler. Chris Jericho might have those things as well, however he doesn't hold a candle to Kurt Angle.

Kurt is one of the few definitions of the perfect all-around talent. He has a great build and looks legitimate in that way, as well as he has the microphone skills to go with his awesome in-ring abilities.

Chris has those credentials as well, with exception of the look, however he's not the same to deliver in the league that Kurt Angle is. And he most likely never will be, Kurt is in a league very few wrestlers can brag about even gracing, and Chris is most likely not one of them.

Kurt Angle is the far superior wrestler to Chris Jericho, always has been always will be. not knocking Jericho who is great in his own right but Angle is considered by many the greatest technical and pure wrestler ever in professional wrestling history. Angle is a former Olympic wrestler which is where he gets a lot of his background from. Jericho may be great in the ring but he lacks the overall machine quality Angle has.

Kurt Angle is simply a technical beast when it comes to performing in the ring. His suplexes are best performed out of any other wrestler, he uses his amateur wrestling background to his advantage and just has this quality in his athleticism that Jericho just does not have. Also with that Angle is a great mic worker as he has some of the best promo skills in the business today which is something that Jericho has as well but Angle is the superior all around wrestler.

Depends on what you consider a "wrestler" to be. For my money—which is what it always comes down to, profit—I would always choose Chris Jericho over Kurt Angle. Always. Simply put Chris understands the nature of the business and what his job truly is and maybe more importantly what it absolutely isn't. As a former (overly) competitive athlete, Kurt on the other hand, is sometimes too concerned about the athletic components of the business and not the work of it all. And by work I mean the con. Hell, even his catch phrase is a joke when you think about it: "It's Damn Real"... um, no Kurt, it's not. It's still very much a con.
Jericho can work the crowd better than almost anyone. As I said once before he has the ability to "make you jump up off your chairs, raise your filthy, fat, little hands in the air and scream 'Go, Jericho Go!'" Or with a simple change in demeanor, dress and vocabulary, get you to hate him so much that you gang up on him and try to legitimately physically assault him in the parking lot. The ironic bit of that last part is that Jericho "gets it" so much that he can actually take the fake nature of the psuedo-sport transcend it completely, create a genuine emotional tether to the audience, and in the process succeed in actually making it "Damn Real".
I guess what I mean to say is that Jericho embraces the "fakeness" of the business and in doing so turns it into "reality", whereas Kurt has tried time and again to shoe-horn "reality" in with the con and unintentionally drawn attention to the "work" of it all. I mean if you're the only "real legit shooter" then what does that make everyone else?
Anyway, that is my opinion of what a wrestler is. And while it's completely subjective I believe it's very much in tune with the true nature of the business and it's only goal which all "wrestlers" should understand i.e. to make money for your company, and in turn yourself, regardless of what you do in the ring, who "wins" or "loses", or who's on top of the card.

Kurt Angle is the best wrestler between the two, hands down, while Chris Jericho is the better entertainer.

Angle has been known and can still carry his opponents through matches. He can make wrestlers like Abyss and Matt Morgan look like legit, good wrestlers.

Yes, that says it best. As a technical wrestler, Angle is better than just about anyone, but there's no one like Jericho at keeping your interest at a fever pitch and making you care about him and whomever he's fighting.

Jericho can manage a long feud..... or a one-time match. He can keep it serious ......or make it funny. He can wrestle hold-for-hold......or brawl with the best. He's as effective in a tag team as he is a singles wrestler. He can use ring psychology to capture a crowd...... or engage in a Pier 6 war with no psychology at all.

Angle can always wrestle a good match, but Jericho is a master storyteller.

There both great in the ring, they have a very diverse style in the sense that the can incorporate more than one style in the ring.

But, i would have to give it to kurt angle. The big thing that makes me pick angle is the intensity he brings to the ring. It makes his matches more fun to watch and have more of an impact when he hits big moves.

for as great a wrestler Angle is i've never been a big fan of his...i mean i like and respect him (how can you not the guy is great) but i've never marked out for him......ever.

Jericho on the other hand has always been 1 of my favorites (aside from maybe 2005). hes great on the mic hes great in the ring (probably not better than Angle but thats all opinion based).

Gotta agree with Ferb here, it's Kurt Angle and there is no argument that can say otherwise, Jericho is extremly good in the ring but Kurt is better. Kurt can have a great match with anyone in any style be it technical wrestling, hardcore, brawling, high flying or anything else, while Jericho may be able to do that as well he can not do it as consistently as Kurt. Besider Angle won a freaking gold medal, that should be all the proof that you need.

I think Chris Jericho is the Best Sports Entertainer in the World and Kurt Angle is the Best Professional Wrestler in the World.

They both have an impressive list of accomplishments. They both have had great matches in their respective careers. They are both Gold on the mic. They are both the number one guy in their respective companies right now.

The differences, to me, are Jericho is a tad better on the mic and Angle is a tad better in the ring. A Superstar with Jericho’s mic skills and Angles in ring skills could possibly be the perfect Superstar.

This is almost like comparing which ingredient is better in Sprite, the Lemon or the Lime??
