who all has dreamed? my dream job

So this is kinda a weird question but I'd like to ask and see where people stand on this, and who else had had the same dream.

Now I'm 25 years old but at a younger time in my life I was in pretty decent shape, played football and ran track, and to this day weights are a part of my life.

But I can remember a time, and even still yet today I'd love to be a wrestler, to have that feeling of walking through the curtains and hear the crowd scream or boo depending on what roll I was playing. Just to know people would talk about me like we do the people we watch today.

So my two questions are
1. Who all has had this same dream job as my self?

2. WHAt would your character be and are you face or heel?

1. I did have the same dream sinc ei was 4 years old an so joined a wrestling company when i was 15!

2. Overtime for the start of my career i was a face an i turned heel 2 years after i started training an still am today and like you say its a rush when the crowd cheers/boos you!!

Yeah this has been a pretty constant thought in my mind. I'm not much a dream-chaser and I doubt I'm gonna be one of those success stories who achieves what they always wanted to do. (the fact that I think negative like that is probably one of the things that separates me from the people who do it). I worry too much haha when I really think about it I'm not sure I would ever trust somebody else to be slamming me around, one mistake and you could be injured for life. But it's always in the back of my mind and a main reason why I go to the gym and workout. Rather than having the goal of headlining WrestleMania, I tell myself I would at least like to try going to a training school and get one professional match under my belt just to say I did it. Characterwise I would probably enjoy being a heel since I'm too much of a niceguy in real life.

I am 15 years old so I am still dreaming that dream. When I'm a senior I will be 18 so I am going to OVW's wrestling school as a senior in high school. I will get a years training in then I'll start college and I want to go for creative writing. OVW training is just two nights a week and it's an hour away. So once I get a years training in and start college, I'll still wrestle on weekends and stuff. I want to go to college in Louisville. My dream will become a reality.

Yeah, I have that dream right now. I know it's a one in a billion thing for me really but it's a dream for a reason. Onto the thread, hope no one laughs because I actually thought about this and thought it was pretty cool. I would want to be called Major Glory. Dumb name right but I like it because of my finisher names. My main finisher would be some sort of sleeper hold that I would dub the Hand of Glory because I would make the ref lift my opponents hand and let it drop. And the other would be more TNA appropriate because it would be a top rope leg drop dubbed Glory Bound. I would start off as a cocky, vanity filled heel and slowly progress into being a face that wants to inspire kids you know. I think that would be pretty cool. Oh, also I would not be like Cena, I'd be a hero for the kids but freaking loved by the true fans of wrestling, or at least. that's how I would be if my dream became a reality.

I have wanted to be a wwe diva since I was 7 when I saw Trish and Lita wrestle for the first time Lita quickly became my rolemodel after that. I'm 16 now and I still want to be a wwe diva and as soon as I turn 18 I'm going to start training no matter what my parents say. I would like to be one of those crazy heels and I'm not going to be like Kelly I'm going to be like Lita in terms of I will actually be able to fight now just be a model look out for the name Nicole Skylar because thats going to be me.

I'm pretty sure the majority of wrestling fans have dreamed about becoming a part of the business at one point or another in their lives and I am no exception. Unfortunately, I'm a 5'7'' 19-year old with no athletic credentials whatsoever.

That being said, if I was a wrestler I'd love to a credible heel involved in a good storyline vs the face of the company. However, growing up, I really wanted to become an announcer for RAW or SD

I always wanted to be a wrestler. Hell, I always wanted to be a writer(booker) to.

Im going to start wrestling school this year. and im a pretty big guy to, 6'5(and 17 doomed to grow even more). Im going to start a local pro wrestling school, later this year, then ROH school, OVW, Then FCW, and a submission school. Each school teaches you different stuff so i would defiantly go to a bunch off different schools so i can be as good as i possibly can. And i already have the money aside for it so no money worries either.

I would love to be a heel when i first start out. A young cocky punk. Then later on i would like to end it with being a beloved face(HBK like). Then after my wrestling career is over i want to be a member of the creative team.

And note-I could care less if im a jobber my main dream is to be a wrestler

I used to dream of becoming a wrestler. When I was a kid I would always dream of coming through the curtain and hearing thousands of people screaming my name. Recently though, I was able to do some actual in ring training and realized that it just wasn't for me. I would like to be a part of a creative team though. Maybe even a manager. I wouldn't be afraid of taking a bump from time to time but I couldn't do it on a regular basis.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is it really that hard to make it in the wrestling buisness? Just considering some of the people that do make it. But yeah, other then that I think I wanted to for a couple of months when I was 12 but nothing more then that. I moreso dream of being a musician. But if I was in the WWE I think being in the creative team or something like that would be amazing. I hope you guys who try it make it. Maybe taking some acting lessons wouldnt hurt either considering how far being good on a mic can get you.

As a matter of fact, I will be starting wrestling training sometime this summer. RIght after I finish this upcoming semester of college. I plan on being a jobber due to my looks ( 6'2 150 lbs very skinny/ unathletic look). But if I can I would be a heel, mainly because all my fav wrestlers are heels or were better as heels (Austin Aries, DAvey Richards, Jimmy Jacobs, Chris JEricho, Christopher Daniels, just to name a few.)

As for me, yeah I've had that dream since I was 6 and saw shawn michaels thros janetty threw the barbor shop window.. When I was in my teens, I was a 6 footer and in pretty decent shape playing football and baseball and lifting weights. Also wrestled for my high school. My goal/dream was to be a wrestler. Went to college and kept in shape but unfortunatley blew out my knee 2 weeks before I was to start training at a wrestling school.. That's basically where my dream became just that, a dream.. To this day my knee is still in pain and will never be 100 percent,. I tried the wretling school and just couldn't keep up without being in pain.. So now I just watch and admire, I always imagine what couldve been but I guess I'll never know.. I'm kinda sad now just talking about it.. I'd do anything just to be in the biz, shoot I'd put the freaking ring together..

I used to dream of being a wrestler but being English and only 5'9 tall (albeit in good shape) I dont think I was big enough to do it. I only found out about an English wrestling school within driving distance about 2 years ago, and I have a career in Marketing now, and dont really have much urge to give it up to wrestle.

I used to have the dream of being a pro-wrestler, but after seeing all the sacrifices that have to be made, the travel schedule and potential injuries I decided to remain as just fan. However, I do wonder what it would be like to have my music hit and the crowd go crazy, and posing on the turnbuckle infront of thousands of adoring fans.

I would use the ring name "The Natural" Nathan Reso. My first name is Nathan, but I chose the surname as it sounds pretty cool. I would have the Raven look of the ripped denim shorts and leather jacket, playing the role of an arrogant, cool heel, and leading my faction "The Revolution".

My finishing move would be an Impaler DDT with a secondary finishers of a spinning Death Valley Driver and an underhook Piledriver (like Kid Kash's Moneymaker). Other moves in my arsenal would have been a sit out powerbomb, top rope moonsault and a sit out Sky High spinebuster.

My ring music would be either "Your Disease" by Saliva or "Keep Away" by Godsmack, and I would pay TNA's Tara to become my manager

I would have been awesome haha

I never understood how people used the internet so little to find out if they have an athletic committee. Not for the others who are over 18, but for the teens here who want to be wrestlers, if you're in areas like Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and Arkansas then you can train and begin wrestling at 18. Some other states require a license and all... but anyway onto the topic.

For my big dream, I want to be in NWA. I've already made a name for myself in my area as a wrestler so that's not really much for me, but when I look at the "big picture" I always see myself holding the NWA World title. It's never been the WWE, WCW, TNA, or ROH titles... although I wouldn't mind them. I just have a strong love for NWA that outshines anything that's out there now... even headlining Mania.

As for my minor dream, I want to be a game designer. Mainly because all of the games out nowadays have absolutely no balls. I want to make games that are different. If I make a shooter, I want people to be able to go "Only this game can do that." If I make a fighter, I want people to be like "This scheme is different, but it works."

I will be honest, I have fancied myself a dream job with wrestling. I'm a natural born red-head and have always been a sassy and spitfire kinda gal. Love the tattoos and loud rock music. Hell, even my friends jokingly call me 'Lita' because of the fact that I've been known to associate with some 'questionable' people, but mostly because of my admiration for her and Trish, and the feeling like the women's wrestling died a little after she left, and have done some 'small' roles with my friend's local wrestling promotional thing as a chick valet. But, my 'diva/knockout' whatever would be a girl next door type.. into rock music, does what she wants, when she wants, not afraid to mix it up with guys. Girls want to hang out with her and admire her, a couple guys think of her like kid sister or will pick on her because she'd rather be a fighter with her unique style, plus my own many tattoos I have, to show that a girl can be different, yet sexy. my theme song would be "Cyanide Sweet Tooth Suicide" by Shinedown.

My finishers of choice, 'Sweet Rush' a running STO, and 'Heads Up' (Like Roxxi's voodoo drop as I clutch them, but I fall back and make the opponent hit their head in a DDT motion). But I'd ultimately still be a good girl and no one would be able to tell what I do at a moment's notice. I still leave people wondering, I'd NEVER be afraid to mix it up in a match against a guy.

I'm 20 years old, and I'm on my way to...getting my degree first :/ Sadly,the trainers at PWA strongly suggested that I have a degree first but they liked my passion for it and let me stick around for a while and check the place out. In my mind, it's not just the crowd reaction,the pageantry or the fame. For me it's the bonds you form out in the trenches with the other performers. The friendships made through all the matches you plan out and the spots you perform. The connections you make across the world are what appeal to me the most.

I would be a face who loves going out and exciting the crowd, but could really use help with becoming a serious contender.

For me wrestling isn't just a dream, it's something I have to do.

I've been a wrestling fan my entire life. When I was a kid, it was just the show I loved watching on T.V. I wasn't thinking about futur carrers or anything like that,but when I got back into wrestling at 15, it was the most un-believable thing I had ever experinced. Nothing I had ever seen drew me in the way wrestling did. It had athletisism(sp?), story telling, beautiful women, EVERYTHING. The more time went on, the more in love with wrestling I became. It was the first thing in my life that I actually stayed with for more than a few months. It isn't just part of who I am, it is who I am. The first time I went to a live show, my fate was sealed.

I've tried to leave wrestling behind, focus on other careers. But I can't. Becoming a wrestler fuels me in everything I do. I just get this strong burning of desire in my stomach everytime I picture myself in a ring or watch someone like Chris Jericho talk about wrestling.

I don't know if I'll be a jobber in ten years, or if you guys will be talking about how over-rated a champion I am on here lol , but either way I'm going to be a wrestler. My goal is actually to main-event Wrestlemania against Orton (Orton's the one guy who I can logically see still be an active wrestler should I ever make it to WWE). I don't know what gimmick I would have.

So you would love to be an indy wrestler your entire career? Thats cool man NWA has a rich wrestling history and at one point before WWE became big, was the #1 wrestling promotion in thed entire world.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have that dream. Wrestling is something I love - something I love enough to join an internet forum with the express intention of talking about it.

However, I'm aware of the reality. Wrestling is a damn hard job. Any wrestler will tell you that. The chances of making it are slim (by making it I mean a position in a ROH-level company). I'm guessing that anything below that will not provide a great wage. Your body get's messed up (consistently falling onto a solid surface will do that to you). Drug abuse (recreational and non-recreational) is a problem (or so I've heard as I can't provide evidence).

Regardless of these factors, I am going start professional wrestling lessons soon. If nothing else comes out of it, it should be fun.

I always dreamed of becoming a wrestler since 5, me and my cousins would wrestle on the trampoline. I always dreamed of being a Tag Team Wrestler along with my cousin, we would dress like The Hardyz, and were all into these Neon Color style they had.
I remember those days!

As time went on me and my cousins stopped tag teaming, and we developed our style.
The one who I would Tag Team with became a Cruiserweight Style wrestler whenever we wrestled, and I became that Heel Submission wrestler.

So till this day I still dream of being a Wrestler, and would love to be a Cocky Heel just like Jericho.

My goal right now is to end up working for WWE Headquarters as part of their Graphics Team.

I have a pretty good resume to show them since Ive done designs for few Boxing Promotions and such.
