Which would be a worse outcome?

The rivalry between the Motor City Machineguns/Lethal and Team 3-D/Devine is coming to a head as far as we know at Against All Odds. While it seemed okay at first when it was that if 3-D won, X-Division is gone but if they lose they hand the belt back and they don't mess with the division again. Now they've changed it to where if 3-D loses, they can only wrestle if they reach a certain weight with weight checks every week.

Here is my question. Which would be worse for TNA? To end the X-Division which has been and is (Even though they don't seem to realize it) a cornerstone of TNA from day one. Or, the stipulation where 3-D loses which would more than likely lead to more godawful segments like that thing with AJ Styles and his family and also like that stupid Shark Boy segment?

And suppose the Division does come to an end. What then? What about that title shot for Steiner over that thing, unless it ends up with Petey Williams just getting it . And the belt as well. What becomes of the X-Division belt?

So the question here is this. As much as I'm sure a lot of us that are fans of TNA , as much we don't want to see an end to the X-Division after all this time and considering that it produced some of the best matches in TNA as well as brought out some of the best stars from it like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin and others, as much as we want the X-Division to remain, is it worth putting up with the painful segments that TNA has produced as of late if that is what the 3-D losing stipulation is gonna be.

Losing the X-Division Title is easily the worse outcome. That is what made TNA. The X-Division has put on some great matches over the years. TNA would not be the same without it.

The only way that losing the X-Division Title might work would be to replace it with a midcard belt that everyone can go for. Not everyone can wrestle the X-Division style, which leaves midcarders like Robert Roode nothing to wrestle for. If they replace the X-Division Title, they could use the X Division wrestlers and the other midcard wrestlers to fight over the new belt, so it wouldn't be like the X Division wrestlers wouldn't have a belt to go for, it would just be a different belt.

As for the bad Team 3-D segments we might get, just change the channel for 5 minutes.

Losing the X-division is easily the worst..Wrestling is filled with bad promos, angles, there's always been bad ones...but the x-division is what makes TNA unique and if they would step back for a minute they would realize that and utilize it as a catalyst to make future stars instead of pushing all these old WWE and WCW who can't hack it anymore (Nash, Stenier) or are used incorrectly (Christian - could be utilized way better, easily TNA's gem IMO; Angle - needs to stop dominating all their TV, a little less will go along way).

I Am guessing that they wont end the X division. They need a mid card title so other than dropping the X Division title and creating another mid card belt, i cant see it going completely away, Also Lets just remember because the division has gone, doesn't mean the wrestlers have to go.

Also Maybe someone can clear this up for me.... I keep hearing if MCMG and lethal win then Team 3d will have to slim down to compete in TNA....What.?? That makes no sense....sure they would have to slim down to compete for the x division title....but not just in TNA...That makes no sense...Unless TNA are planing to never let Lethal face anyone bigger or let Dutt job around with storm and eric young for a while...

X division has been the corner stone of TNA, it is what made them unique compared to WWE and WCW as we had big uys in there as well as Cruiserweights. My guess is 3D win but management wont allow it or something like that

TNA is always contorting these screwy angles. Obviously, dropping the X div. is the worst case scenario, but what the hell? like, the whole story is confusing to me. why does team 3d want to end the X div? what was devine's reason for joining them?

if Team 3d or devine does win, I would guess that devine would score the pin and when it comes time for the belt to be "retired" Johnny doesn't want to give it up or some bullshit like that. You never know with the amazing booking in TNA

TNA is going the way of the sinking ship that was wcw. they have the talent to be a great company for years to come but they have storylines that suck worse then that caveman show that was on ABC. I mean you have great talent like AJ Styles who in m opinion is one of the greatest wrestlers of the past 5-10 years and he is playing second fiddle to a guy like kurt angle. Kurt Angle is a great wrestler dont get me wrong but why would u come to TNA saying that they have great talent and you wanna help these guys get over and then you steal all their TV time from them. That is my opinion
