Where's Daffney???

TNA Knockouts have had some interesting characters come through their division; but nothing like "Zombie Hot" Daphney. Her character is one of the most unique, and interesting in the KO roster. She can be hardcore, psychotic, and unpredictable; yet where is she?

I've been a fan of hers since the WCW days and have followed her career since. No one knows how to take her, heel or face, yet she gets the crowd reaction, people enjoy her matches, yet no story lines.

I thought that when TNA was making her a bad ass and turning hardcore, they were going to build a storyline to coincide with it. Now, for the past few weeks, she's not even on Impact. I'd hate to see them lose her.

I believe she's working the indies, like a few other wrestlers in TNA. Don't remember which promotion.

Daffney [correct spelling] was on TNA a little while ago in a match against Angelina Love prior to Victory Road, but other than that, I haven't seen her. She was on Xplosion June 24th against Taylor Wilde, but that's about it.

It's not....shocking that she's missing. I mean, where's Rosie Lottalove? She debuted, then nothing. We've only recently got Hamada back, so hopefully Daffney will return soon too, same for Rosie.

anyone think that maybe the motorcycle chick might be her, some say it might be Tara(victoria), well we know she is female based on the chest, and read that Tara and TNA work something out for a contract so could she be the mystery woman or maybe Daffney be doing that, anything is possible or yes as one sated maybe doing indy shows as they do not get used all the time on TNA tv so they do other events

There was also a India tour.. which some talent were not on TV for two weeks. Like Jay Lethal (but no one noticed lol) maybe she was a part of that too.

To be Blunt the motercycle chicks boobs are too small for it to be Daffney.

It seems like she got lost in the shuffle after her injury, but I do hope to see her back on impact. Maybe a fued between her and Angelina Love after she finishes the program with Madison.

This post: I do miss the Queen of Scream. Besides the Pre-Explosion, the last time I saw her was on a T4 Show (Michael Manna's tech show) walking around playing with Schmeez. I can't wait for a full-on TV return, and hopefully they'll allow her to continue her path towards the women's championship.

I have no idea why TNA isn't using Daffney for all that she's worth, besides the general incompetence of the people running the promotion.

Before the idea even gets broached, you don't need to bring up ring work. Women's wrestling, on the national level, doesn't have to be fantastic, just passable. (Not like, say, Lacey von Erich, who's just awful.) I have no qualms with Daffney's ring work myself, but you can't have a women's wrestling thread without someone shitting on the talent.

She has that perfect kind of gimmick that TNA is looking for throughout their whole promotion; be familiar enough to WWE fans that you can get them to watch your programming as well (TNA isn't creating new wrestling fans for their product. They have no mainstream media buzz with which to do that.) At the same time, have cosmetic differences which make the marks go "OMG, this is something totally different!"

Rosie Lottalove is their strike at being "different" than the WWE. There is no more room for Bertha Fayes in the WWE; Divas have a very uniform, bony look. Rosie Lottalove is the exact opposite of a WWE Diva, except without a penis. She's TOO different (and doesn't sell either, but whatever.) Daffney has that "edge" that marks love so much. She's like Hot Topic vs. Gap (yes, they are owned by the same company, I'm making a counter-culture comment.) People turned off by what's "trendy" leap to anything marketed as being "anti-trendy". There is a lot of money in selling to rebels.

Working against her though- she's 35. I still think she's hot, especially if you see her outside of her ring gear and makeup- wow! But 35 is trending towards the twilight of your career in women's wrestling. Bookers wonder when the inevitable signs of aging start to show up. Not many women wrestlers get to make it to 40- it's not unheard of, but it sure isn't the norm. As a booker, how much of an investment do you want to put in her knowing that? It's cruel, but it's the way things are.

I'd like to see TNA use her a lot more prominently, but not only am I unfamiliar with backstage TNA politics, I have been given no reason to have any faith that TNA's booking team would use her properly. Pity.

its TNA, they dont use half of wat theyve got at any given week, and then they bring in even more people to a crowded roster, we never get to see all the people we want to on an impact, esp right now with ECW shit taking up half the damn time. overall the knockouts division has gone downhiull recerntly, its not like it was and im glad to see hamada back because shes the kinda knockout that will help to elevate the whoile division and daffney is the same, solid in the ring, and can really do jus about anything. TNA needs to refocus, but its too late for them, and thats too bad.

My buddy was at the NWA Convention in Charlotte, NC yesterday and Daffney was there. He asked her where she had been lately, noted how he hadnt seen her on TNA for awhile. She told him that TNA likes to rotate in and out with the some of the knockouts, Hamada is getting some TV time right now and maybe they rotated Daffney out with her(i'm guessing they are payed on an appearence basis). She also told him that ODB was the nicest knockout in the locker room and that Hamada is her favorite person to wrestle.

I thought she got released, it was on Wreztlezone and TNAWrestling.com
