TNA Releases Daffney, Tessmacher and Kiyoshi?

[It's Damn Real!]

Tessmacher and Kiyoshi are irrelevant as neither has ever held all that important a position in the company anyway, but Daffney hurts a little bit if only because I've got a bit of a soft spot for her — always been a fan of her work since her WCW days.

I can understand why she was let go of, though — frankly the Women's division just didn't really have an angle to get her involved in that they hadn't already done. Probably best for both parties to part ways at this point.

In all honesty is anyone going to miss any of those 3? Who even realised they haven't been seen for months? It's a bit of a shame we won't be able to see Miss Tessmacher again, but then again there's always Velvet. The other two, I couldn't really care less about to be honest

Frankly I think TNA are clueless when it comes to non-traditional women, at least since Hogan and Bischoff came in. You think it's a coincidence the majority of their knockout angles have revolved around vapid b*tchy blondes and WWE rejects?

The funny thing is, Daffney was SO over with the crowd and TNA didn't even know it. The last time she was on Impact, she was merely a last minute tag partner who could be pinned, so not to lose her partner's momentum. However, the crowd were totally pro-Daffney and the rest of women couldn't get them to chant for anyone else. Even Daffney herself was taken aback.

If one thing is for sure, IGN's Matt Fowler is gonna throw the biggest hissy fit known to man. He's been campaigning to get her back on television for months...

Kyoshi meh, was barely on tv anyways so why keep him in the first place? Miss Tessmacher aside from being an assistant to Bischoff what did she do, so why keep her in the first place.

I feel bad for Daffney because she was hot as hell and was really good in the ring.

is there another main reason for women wrestling other than eye candy?
sure you want them to have some wrestling ability in the ring, but I'd much rather see some attractive women than ugly women who had amazing wrestling ability.

no offence(which means this could be offensive) but I sometimes really don't understand why people can get upset when some of the women are not that good at wrestling. are you REALLY watching them for their wrestling ability? on the last Impact at the end of the Knockouts match when Velvet was slapping her own ass, that was HOT! even if she did that during the match, would their really be heterosexual males not happy and rather see her doing some technical wrestling moves in the ring instead?

I can see some people missing Daffney. some have that goth girl type of fetish. personally I'm not going to miss her. I don't think she was that attractive.

I guess Tessmacher must not have been learning enough wrestling while being trained. that's unfortunate, she was hot.

Daffney's official Twitter page had this tweeted earlier:

"My contract expires today and TNA did not renew it,"

"I do not know if it has anything to do with it, but I've filed a Workers Comp claim against them for injuries I've sustained in the ring and my lawyers said to not go into anymore details."

It was speculated that Miss Tessmacher has parted ways with TNA Wrestling considering her pictures were removed from their website on Monday. However, they were added back today, as well as a profile to the roster page.

Youtube her and check out her ASSets. I never was much of a Daffney mark. Unique look and worker for a female but she was hardly something TNA would miss. She did work that angle where she was taking some pretty sick bumps for a female and that was interesting but short lived. Maybe what IDR presented is a reason why. Could get ugly.

I guess Tessmacher's photo is back on the TNA roster page. Daffney's contract does expire today. I guess she is suing TNA because when she was injured by the oh so charismatic Rosie Lottalove. What a waste. So TNA is going to be sued by Daffney for worker's comp because Lottalove injured Daffney. A person that TNA shouldn't have allowed in the ring in the first place.

Christ I'd rather keep Daffney than anything. Her last match she was getting huge pops (the biggest I can think of for a Knockout) she's got a unique look and can wrestle, yet they'd rather keep Miss Tessmacher, she looks like pretty much every other Knockout and can barely do anything.

This is gutting for me. Daffney was my favourite Knockout and possibly favourite woman wresler of all time. i love the look and she is just very entertaining. though i am not sure of the circumstances of her leaving whether it was long term injury or TNA just dropping her but i will miss her

Poor decision to release Daffney in my opinion. I'm not sure if it's because both Stevie Richards and Raven are no longer around so she has nobody to be aligned with or not, but she'd be perfectly believable as a 'loner' and adds something different to the Knockout's roster.

Well, Daffney could have aligned with «Cold Blood» Matt Hardy in Immortal i guess. Too bad she was good in the ring and good to look at.

Only person that I'll miss here is Tessmacher because of how great she looked in those tiny shorts and glasses. Other than that, I didn't realize these two were still employed. Kiyoshi hasn't been used in like a year and Daffney hasn't been around in forever. This is nothing at all to be upset about and it's not going to mean anything at all. Good to release them so that you don't have to worry about them getting on TV anymore.

I never really got a chance to really see Daffney and looking at some of her matches on you tube she was a solid worker. I feel bad that they released her. She would have brought an alternative style to the KO's. Oh well, I hope that she is happy where ever she is headed next. I have no idea who Kiyoshi is so I can't say I feel sorry about him leaving.

That's a shame. I liked Daffney. I was hoping Stevie Richards would manage her & Victoria as a women's tag team. But I don't think TNA really cares about the Women's Tag Team Titles. if they did Angelina Love & Velvet Sky would've had them by now.

Maybe it's just tag team wrestling they hate because instead of giving the World Tag Belts to The Steiner Bros or New Age Outlaws, they gave them to Joe by himself.

I also liked Tessmacher. I thought she was a decent generic female wrestler.

All those names expect for daffney are meh to me, Daffney imo was a great worker and the whole gimmick she had was dark and abit emo like which is a bit new you never had the gothic female wrestler you have/had male ones like taker and sting and gangrel/blood brothers etc but not female ones.... Lame to say the least. I don't care for the other two. Kiyoshi was decent and Tessmacher wasn't that damn attractive. Daffney released though?? Color me pissed off. She was by far the best female talent that they had. Not to mention she was insanely hot. I was kinda hoping that she would take Madison Rayne's title. But, it is what it is.
