Where Will Flair Fit into Things?

I know there are a lot of rumors saying that Flair may not even come back over money issues...

But, if he does come back... Where will he fit into the Fourtune vs Immortal storyline?

When Bischoff was putting AJ down for nit winning the TV Title and then for getting hurt, Flair seemed neutral and kind of played peace maker which would lead me to believe that if he was to return, he would be on Fourtune's side...

I could also see him on Immortal's side being that he is not a TNA Original...

I would like to see Flair come back as the face manager of Fourtune but he is really good as a heel and he may overpower AJ as the leading face in Fourtune...

What are your thoughts?

Will Flair return?

Who's side will he be on?

That is very tough to answer because of the direction of the company is going. I think he is better off as heel. if they are not going to bring him back anytime soon then that's going to be a problem for storyline wise. I think he returns on Fourtune side but then turns on them and goes to Immortal that is how i see it.

I don't get Flair, by going to TNA he knew what he got himself into and knowing how small the company is he wants to argue about money..Its TNA what can he expect!!

I think I would keep him on Immortal's side. It looks like AJ is going to get a good push and he doesnt need Flair over shadowing him. It would make sense for him to stay with Immortal because he's not a TNA original and he came to TNA at the same time as the Hogan regime.

It's pretty hard to answer at this point. Aside from Ric Flair's money issues with TNA, he's also suffering from a torn rotator cuff that occurred during his match against Douglas Williams on TNA's recent tour over in Europe. I'd say that'll be at least a good 5 months of healing time but it shouldn't be an issue really as long as Flair stays out of the ring.

I think that Flair would work better by being with Fortune at this point. Fortune is the faction that he started with guys that he "hand picked" to be in it. Immortal was just another group that Fortune decided to align itself with for mutual benefits. So, ultimately, I think it'd make much more sense for Flair to side with Fortune if he returns.

Styles has legitimately improved on the mic but it's far too early to tell whether or not Styles can tap into the kind of passion and intensity on the mic that he delivered last Thursday. Aside from him, Robert Roode is really the only other member of Fortune that's really shown to be pretty solid on the mic so having Flair resume his role as the group mouthpiece works. As for Immortal, the one thing that the group isn't short on is a mouthpiece. Bischoff is great in his role and Hogan can also serve in that role with Immortal if he actually does come back on March 3rd. On the wrestling side of things, Immortal is in lots of trouble. Aside from Jeff Hardy, the actual wrestlers of Immortal are scrubs and even Jeff Hardy isn't really what he used to be.

I want to see Styles on his own so Im hoping he sides with Immortal. I was thinking about that Ric said TNA signed his son, Reid Flair back in May, and obviously they havent done anything with him so wouldnt this be the ideal time to debut him? He can take AJs role of Nature Boy v2.0 and we can see what happens. The thing is though hes only like 22 or 23 so hes gonna be green as hell but he has been apart of a couple of WCW things and his dad is Ric Flair... he could probably do it.

I know this isn't going to be the popular opinion, but I don't want Flair back in TNA. Just like I don't want Hogan and Bischoff in TNA. Sure they're big "names", but they've done nothing but bring ridicule to the company and I think this angle would be the perfect excuse to cut away the fat. The fact of the matter is, if they're not popping the rating on a weekly basis just by being there, why the hell is Dixie paying through the nose for them in the first place!

I'd like to see Flair as a part of The Immortal faction when and if he comes back. It could go as Flair coming out to side with Fourtune at first saying that he is proud of his boys and even setting up a match for AJ Styles against Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Title. Then towards the end of the match he could come out to screw AJ and thus solidify his alliance with Hogan.

The reason why I think that this should happen is because it would be a huge thing when Immortal get taken down. Even though they are not competing actively Hogan and Flair are big names. The guys who are going to take them down will go down in history as the guy who took both Hogan and Flair down.

I could see arguments for both sides. he is the one who made Fortune, and he could be a good mouthpiece/manager to them. but then Flair is better as a heel, where Fortune is now face? I think AJ Styles could say he doesn't need Flair anymore. AJ did say in the ring something like TNA should not have hired the people that they did, and maybe that includes Flair?

Flair could continue to fit in well with Immortal and Bischoff, but then why would Flair himself stay with the side that Hogan is on if it's only for himself? how much is Hogan going to really be around? his time off now is said to base on story line and court stuff, but didn't he just recently have yet another back surgery? maybe it's time for Hogan to actually not be involved anymore? if/when Hogan does decide to no longer have a significant role with TNA, could Hogan maybe switch back to being face? maybe doing that he could help the faces get the company back FOR Dixie, and since he would no longer be involved with Fortune then Flair would fit better with them?

it would probably work out better for TNA if Flair is heel, so then maybe he should be connected with Immortal. but who in Immortal is Flair going to be beneficial to? would/could it be good for Flair to play the same role with say Jeff Hardy as he did with Styles? then again if Flair is all limousine riding jet flying wearing a suit, that's not really Jeff Hardy.
