A lot of folks have been asking where Shelley has been with regard to the X Division considering his small feud with Aries earlier this year, but it's obvious TNA needed filler until Sabin was ready to return and that they weren't willing to sacrifice a tag team return for an X Division addition. Well, it now looks as though that the latter point is upon us, or will be soon enough, and everyone's favorite [TNA] tag team will be returning to inject some much needed life into the bombed out and depleted division.
With Jesse Neal having left TNA, Shannon Moore on hiatus, Team 3D split, Mexican America a forgettable afterthought, Beer Money Inc. split and Morgan/Crimson now split as well, the depth in the division is now as follows:
1. Magnus & Samoa Joe [World Tag Team Champions]
...
12. Robbie E & Robbie T
13. Nothing
14. Nothing
15. Nothing
So long story short, this should be exactly what TNA needs right now, though it isn't in and of itself enough to resurrect the once dominant division. Not yet. It is, though, a step in the right direction.
Thoughts?
