InZayn In The Membrane
Now, I was gonna make this last night, but I was too knackered and I wanted to think how I was gonna write it up.
So, if someone was to come up and ask you that question, would you be able to answer them? There are so many things right now that are not helping TNA one iota, that it is difficult to remember the good that underlies the bad.
1) - Tag Team Division
Possibly the most obvious answer would be TNA's Tag Divison. It rules over WWE's one, which is a damn good thing. We have The MotorCity Machine Guns, Beer Money, Ink Inc, Generation Me, Gunner and Murphy, London Brawling and the possibility of The Hardy Boyz now that Jeff has lost the World Title. Now, you tell me that isn't an amazing Tag Division. We know that Beer Money are one of the greatest Teams that are around now and The Guns, GenMe, Ink Inc & Hardyz are all/have been top teams. We manage to get great Tag Matches, even on T.V, as well as Pay-Per-View. The Tag Titles aren't thrown around like a ball and as said, there's always a good show put on. Once the Guns are back together, we should see more 5-Star Tag Matches all the time.
2) - Knockouts!
Ok, so it may seem I'm making a big deal out of this, but the Knockout Division, like the Tag Team, trumps WWE's Diva's Division. We've actually got hard-ass Girls who can Wrestle, luckily, some of who have been snatched from the WWE. But TNA have their own hard girls too. Daffney, Winter, Tara, Roxxi and ODB are names that come to mind. Luckily, they've lost Lacey (As hot as she was), but they did lose Kong and Gail Kim, who were valuable commodities. However, the Knockout Division today is just as strong as it was, with it's mixture of sexy and tough, beautiful and brawling. It, surprisingly, is something I do pay attention to, as the Winter storyline gets me interested 'cos of the whole Lesbian psycho thing as well as these returns of people like Traci Brooks and ODB, who are both of great value to TNA's Knockouts. I mean, ODB is probably the most unique knockout there is, apart from Kong, but that's another story.
3) - AJ's a Face/X-Division
I've put these together for a reason. The whole "AJ's a face" isn't necessarily a great thing, as he was a great heel, but as a face, he's just a totally bigger draw. However, what I wanna get at here is a whole other point. Kaz is the X-Divison Champ right now which is putting that part right back on track after it's wayward turn with Robbie E. Maybe, if Kaz drops it to a well-deserved X-Divison star, or maybe even Hernandez, then AJ Styles could bring full credibility back to the X-Division that it once had. He wouldn't feud with Kaz unless Kaz turned heel, so that's a no-no. Maybe a hell Suicide gets it? AJ vsChris Daniels Suicide should be a bloody good match and you know it. AJ doesn't seem to be in the TNA Title picture, so why not give him a Title? I would say it's possible. Anyways, the X-Division is getting back on it's feet, with it's Kaz, Doug Williams, Magnus, Crimson, Red, Lethal etc line-up. That again, is something to look forward to.
4) - Main Eventers
TNA, without a doubt, does have some brilliant Main Eventers. With the return of the New TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Sting, that just added to it. TNA currently have, Kurt Angle, Mr Anderson, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, Sting, Jeff Jarrett and Matt Morgan. These guys are total brilliance. Angle, RVD, Anderson, Hardy & Jarret are just brilliant speedy, technical workers who do put on some of TNA's best matches. Just watch Angle vs Anderson at Lockdown, Hardy vs Angle or Angle vs Jarrett. I think there's an Angle infection really, he does something to matches. Matt Morgan is your big Powerhouse, who attempts to dominate his matches, having now met his match in Hernandez, so it rules him out a bit right now. Then there's Sting, who like Angle & RVD, are your "Big Name" Main Eventers. These are the guys that everyone tunes in to watch, or go to watch TNA live for. To see these guys in the Main Event.
So there, are a few of my thoughts of what makes TNA decent. If they can sort out all of these terrible little/large problems that lie around. The Hogans/Flairs, bad storylines etc, then they might look better every now and then.
What do you think?
