What were you doing on 9/11?

I Hate to bring this back. But I believe we can make an exception.

I was at school. Grade 7. And all of a sudden, they called me up to the front office. My mom came and took me home and told me there was an attack on the twin towers. I remember crying on the way back to my house because my dad had some friends working in the towers. But luckily, i came home and they were there watching the footage with my grandparents. My dad was coming back from work because he had heard the news. Sad day for America. Sad day for the world.

It was a sad day man. I was actually in the 7th grade as well but I was in the bathroom when I heard people in the school yelling "Oh my God!" I was scared as hell man. I ran back to the classroom and saw what happened on the news and then all of our parents came to pick us up. It was a pretty scary day.

i was about 8 and i was watching the planes hit the towers and kinda did get what was happening but i was thinking why????

damit iraq, look what you did you dirty bastards. we should have bombed the s*** out of iraq.

it wasnt iraqis dude they had nothing to do with it and i believe it was a conspiracy by the goverment to start a new world order those werent commercial planes they were military planes with lasers u can clearly see the laser being shot at the building and the thing that convinces me that this is a conspiracy is the fact that the buildings collapsed in less than a half hour it looked like a demolition usually buildings dont collapse that fast sooo fuck bush and all the ppl behind it whether bush really knew about it or not i hate that piece of garbage u call a president

i was at school in 2nd grade and a bunch of parents picked up there kids, but me and a couples others didnt get picked up and the teachers werent allowed to tell us anything, then my mom picked me up and told me, it was freaky

i was in 8th grade and i went to my music class and all we did was watch the tv through out the whole day we didnt leave or go home but just watched tv all day and i didnt really understand what happened i though like a pilot passed out or something and accidently crashed into the building but the next day i was wrong i was led to believe that it was a terrorist attack and thought al queda was responsible but it wasnt those terrorist it was bush whos the real terrorist using fear on our country to mislead us that lousy bastard you can munipulate the idiots but not me punk

are you serious? The government would kill 3000 people to start a new world order? guess what? that wasn't a conspiracy. As much as i hate the government your post was ******ed. I'm sorry but **** what you just said.

yeah well do some research before u say my post was ******ed why are we in iraq? why were we in afghanistan? huh answer me that bush is putting in puppet governments and were gunna be going to war with iran not before long then well really be in deep shit

we are in iraq because they were the #2 site of terrorism...and if you forgot in 1993, they did this thing with bombs that made them a real threat. We were in afghanistan because they bombed us...

iraq had nothing to do with al-queda nor 9/11 hell saddam didnt even like them he imprisoned an al queda member in one of his prisons bush wanted revenge on saddam for attempting to kill his dad in paris but thats a lame ass excuse to go to war with iraq now isnt it but thats just what some ppl say and prolly not true we went in becuz ol bush though they had weapons of mass destruction but no they had the capabilities then he said there were ties which there arent some ppl say were in there cuz of oil

I can't believe people think it was conspired by the government. Not even bush would kill innocent people to create a 'new world order'

On subject, I was just at home watching TV, and i couldn't believe it.

its hard to believe anything these days id say fuck the media

I woke up and turned on the TV and there were the pictures that made you freeze for minutes and were very distressing. This made news for days and really was a reality check that we didn't need. At all. Conspiracies are beside the real importance of the event, and it was a terrible event that shocked the world. The thing is, it was a day after my birthday so I had woken up after celebrating the night before to see people in the Streets of America crying. Sad stuff. Very sad. It changed the face of the World forever.

im from canada and i was in elemenatary school and im pretty sure it was the first time i heard any of my teachers swear as much as they did. Most of the kids in my school are little kids so we were all scared that we would be getting bombed too. I remember i said my first swear that day and i was in grade 3 and i yelled holy $hit.

It was one of those things where words like that are expected, and many forget what an impact it can have on young kids to see this stuff on TV. I was about 9 or so when I saw it I think, and I was a little frightened as well because you think that this stuff can happen anywhere. It would be funny to hear that your teachers swear a lot if the thing they were swearing at wasn't so sadly serious.

i was in the 3rd grade and we just got done with gym class and i was coming back in the classroom and i saw on the TV that two towers were on fire and i had absouletly no idea wat the hell was going on and then our teacher told us and i was still in shock.......classes went on as normal but the tv was on mute in every classroom just to see if anything new happened.....

on a side note.....America is fucked if they add the war with North Korea and Iran......them two countries have nukes...and they already threatened to use them if we invaded there countries......i think bush should calm his ass down and leave them 2 countries do wat they gotta do.....cuz i dont wanna be blown apart....

On 9/11, I was in Gym Class in the 9th Grade, and my Gym Teacher had announced to us what had taken place.

Its not nice when you don't know the full extent of something that has happened. Being told by someone who has only heard half the story will get you all worried.

i was at Staten Island, i saw flight 11 go crash into tower1 and i think i went into shock and fainted.my sis thought i was dead. i woke up around 9:15 and saw smoke billowing from tower 2 and i got home around 15 minutes after that and about 10 minutes later i learned that a plane had crashed into the pentagon after that i just tried to releive some stress and stress and worry because my dad was supposed to be on a flight that day

I remember waking up (australian) in the morning, making my breakfast and turning on the TV to the simpsons. While i was watching a message scrolled past the bottom of the screen saying the world trade centre had been attacked etc.. it then cut to a live news feed.

My mum freaked out because we have friends and relatives that live in NY, my school was cancelled that day. (grade 6, 12yo)

Well when it happened I was in high school still. I remember the word spreading in the hallways in the morning, then we saw the pics and stories of it happening in the computer room after lunch.

Spent the afternoon period talking about it (in Science class, of all classes!) the whole time. Teacher fielded questions from anyone who didn't know what happened and we talked about early speculation.

Went home and stayed glued to the TV the rest of the day.

By the way, it was completely unbelievable and unreal to everyone. Most of us thought it was a bad joke at first, even the pictures looked unreal.

Man, even when I think about it now it seems unreal, you know?
