What WE Need To Do

I understand that this is every man for himself, but we need to take a grasp on our strengths and weaknesses as a party.

Weaknesses:

- We're short when it comes to numbers. We are, far and away, the smallest group. We have to be able to bridge this gap by being the most dynamic and the most committed.

- We don't have very many "big names" running either. Harthan, Sparky, and myself are our "big names," but that's relatively weak when it comes to other teams. When our candidate, whoever it may be, makes it to the main election we're going to have to (if we so choose) throw our support his way and ABC and DFP have us beaten there, especially if they start pulling out heavyweight posters. So, we'll have to figure out how to get around that too.

Strengths:

- Our candidates may be the most "complete" there are. We have guys who post all over the forum, whereas a lot of the other parties don't have that. While a guy like Killjoy may win his primary, he's not going to look as good next to a guy who doesn't just post in ONE section. Yeah, you have to find a focus, but if you can prove to be a forum-wide contributor, you'll have an advantage.

- Experience and understanding. We have two former moderators running, along with myself, all of whom have been around and learned how this place functions. Sure, the other parties may have guys who have been around just as long -- but they don't really understand what the job of moderator entails. Guys like Dave and JGlass, in their analysis of the candidates, have brought up that our party has candidates fit for the job and fit for defeating Coco and the ABC Candidate.

Now, I truly believe that our candidate has an excellent chance to win. Coco, right now, seems like the frontrunner. ABC has the most members, but when their members are guys that rarely post and come on once a month, they probably won't turn out. Hell, I'm still banking on them getting a nasty surprise when they realize how few voters they will really get. If our candidate can go out there and capitalize on that, we'll have it in the bag.

As for who I think our candidate should be? Well, obviously, I'm in favor of myself. That being said, if I don't make it, I just don't think it will have been the right choice for the party. A blown opportunity. The reason I think I'm our best candidate is some stuff I've said time and time again. I'm want this, I'm committed to it, I'm good at posting and understand what it takes to mod, but I'm also going to be very popular with random voters who haven't committed to parties. I had a chance to jump to ABC, where had I made it, I could have had guaranteed support from whoever turns out from them, but I liked what this party offered. We were the only party being honest with our ideals -- Coco doesn't need to even talk about his ideals, as he has his supporters regardless and the ABC Party is just a bunch of guys all trying to get their shot at glory, going on about the same thing: "I'll drive discussion, blah, blah, blah."

I'm a good combination of everything that is required in this election. Harthan and Sparky are great, but as of right now, I think I offer the best "bang" for our buck. Look, I'm fine if you choose to vote for somebody else, but I've been working hard for this... regardless, though, take this for what I meant it to be -- a "gameplan" of sorts for what we can do. I think we, as a party, have a shot and a damn good one, at that.

Like how do you plan on contributing more on the section you want to mod than you do now? Or help out more (In other terms).

I've explained this many a time. I'm a proven poster in the WWE section, one who has the backing of many of the current mods. I'll go out and handle my job and work damn hard at it. I already post, so if given a mod spot, I'm going to be very active when it comes to merging/deleting and so on.
