What is your Favorite RAW moment?

The Wolf

Pre-Show Stalwart
The WWE has been having their people tell us about there favorite RAW moment so I was wondering what is everyone elses.

Mine is either when HBK hit Sweet Chin Music on Shelton Benjamin when he was spring boarding off the rope (you have to admit it was the Sweetest of all of them and very dangerous so for them to pull it off just goes to show how good they were) or When Dx reformed against Vince (not the run but the moment) the crowd, the look on Vince's face.

The return of the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
I am such a huge fan of Bret Hart and it had been so long since we had seen him.
More than the return was the meeting with Shawn Michaels. This was so big for me because I had spent 12 years hating HBK. Seeing them in the ring together was great and them making up did a lot for me. Maybe it's crazy, but Bret forgiving HBK helped me forgive him too. I don't need anybody telling me that I have no right being mad or that Bret deserved what he got, that's not what this is about. The hitman is my favorite of all time and seeing him back was the biggest Raw moment for me without a doubt.

My favorite Raw moment was when the Nexus debut, it was one of the few times I was surprised and couldn't wait for next week to see what would happen next.

For me it's still when Batista gives the thumbs down to HHH, signifying that he'll be facing him at Wrestlemania. It was probably the biggest mark out for me that I can remember.

Last night when Jerry "The King" Lawler picked Stone Cold and Vince McMahon in the hospital was classic. I gotta go with Stone Cold and the beer truck. That was hilarious and gold.

There's been a lot of great RAW moments in it's 19 year run and to pick one favorite is very very hard to do I will just do it like this

10. Shawn Micheals Looses his smile.

9. The Reformation of DX

8. Batista Turns on HHH and Ric Flair

7. The Kid upsets Razor Ramon

6. Jimmy Hart Turns Face for the very first time

5. Crush Turns on Macho Man Randy Savage

4. The Rockers Reunion

3. ECW Invades Monday Night RAW

2. Bret Hart Returns to WWE

and The Number One Spot goes to......... Drum Roll Please.

1. Vince Buys WCW.

When Kane unmasked, I was a huge Kane fan every since I was watching wrestling, and the moment he unmasked sparked so many cool moments on Raw

The moment Kane electricuted Shane McMahons balls, when Kane chokeslammed Eric Bishoff off the stage, when Kane tombstoned Linda McMahon, setting JR on fire, I could go on and on.

Basically, I picked Kane unmasked for the fact that that moment set off so many other memorable moments on Raw.

a close second for me is when Stone Cold stunned the whole McMahon family (I was there live so it was really cool)

ECW Sandman made a valid point I agree with. They are approaching one THOUSAND episodes, so picking one is very difficult.

Just to name a few (in no order):

Shawn Michaels giving SCM to an airborne Shelton Benjamin.
DX mocking Vince and Shane.
John Cena VS Shawn Michaels for the WWE Title in London.
The Nexus debut/takeover.

And one of my personal favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttT4yycClvw

Kurt Angle and the milk truck. Obviously, this was a ripoff of Austin and the beer truck, but it made it funnier since Austin was in the ring getting sprayed for once. And when J.R. said "the billion dollar princess has become the dairy queen," that made it for me.

I may have to answer this a couple of times. For now I will answer with the first thing that came to mind when I read the question. I remember Taker coming through the ring and dragging Diesel down with him. That was an awesome happening for the time. Gonna think some more on this.

People are bashing the current product but for me it was Brock Lesnar's return this year.

I have watched WWE since 1992 (see the username) and i have never flipped out so much after that night. The 5 minutes from his music hitting to Brock's F5 on Cena, you wouldn't imagine how many times i have watched it. I posted it on my Facebook and the reaction to the Video from some of my old Wrestling buddies was awesome. What made it special to me was those friends on Facebook i hadn't spoken to for months, when i shared Brock's return they reacted and i started conversations with old friends i thought i had lost contact with.

Summat i'll never forget so in a wierd sort of way Thanks Brock Lesnar for reuniting me with some lost friends.

Easy, since I was in attendance and it was such a monumental RAW, Mick Foley's first WWE Championship win over The Rock is my pick. The roof came off the Worcester Centrum when Stone Cold's music hit as he returned from a couple week hiatus to help Mick win. It was the loudest thing I ever experienced, still sends chills down my spine. "That's gonna put some butts in the seats."

The Countdown to the Millinium.... the epic build-up. The Countdown Clock really was such a simple yet creative, innovating, and captivating way to debut someone.

The middle of the sweaty summer... the WWE was hot with the Rock and HHH and Foley. The Rock was in the middle of a pretty intense interviews. The crowd was blistering... when the giant clock popped on the screen. Months in the making!

The slow countdown... the Rock infuriated by the interruption! Who dare do that to the biggest star in the world!?

5.....4......3... ... 2.......1. "Break the walls down"!

That was the best moment in raw history!

Great answer, that would be a close second for me. I actually quit my shitty bag boy job that night because I wanted to see Jericho's debut live instead of on tape a couple hours later.

"You talk about your Y2J plan. The Rock has the KY Jellly plan which means The Rock's going to lube his size 13 up real nice, turn that sumbitch sideways, and stick it straight up your candy ass!"

Many more I could have chosen, but those are the ones that really stick in my mind. I didn't choose the memorial shows for a reason, while great tributes are not my favorites.

Gun to my head if I had to pick just one, it would probably be the first one. Shane wasn't even really a part-time guy at that point and had had maybe 3 or 4 matches. This was before the titantron or scaffold spots and really this storyline (the love her or leave her part) was our first real introduction to Stephanie outside of being Taker's pawn. It just had a more reality based feeling, and honestly, it's a spot that half the current roster couldn't pull off that well. And yes I am aware I lean heavily on the Attitude Era, there was a reason it pulled the ratings it did.

It is definitely too hard to name one but a few that come to mind are ...

DX making fun of The Nation and Corporation

Both HHH and Foleys first WWE Titles

Y2J Debuts

WWE buys WCW

Finally..... The Rock Has Come Back HOME..... nobody saw this coming, there were times on here where posters would get ridiculed for even mentioning a chance of The Rock ever coming back. We all thought he was in Hollywood for life and although it was not a full return it was the greatest return ever.

My favorite moment is the most famous, and highest rated segment ever on Raw, and featuring 2 of its greatest superstars.

Drumrole . . .

This is your life! Sure, I was only about 4 or 5 back then, but I remember watching it on The Rocks's dvd, then watching the full segment on Youtube years later. It's just funny stuff. Any time The Rock got on the mic back in 1999, you got pure gold. This night was a prime example. Everything from poontang pie and Mr. Rocko! It was epic. You guys remember poontang pie? lol I'm about to go watch that segment on Youtube now!

I may have left out the two most important....

Both EDGE and HBK retirement speeches. We had to say goodbye to two of the greatest to ever lace the boots.

Jeff Hardy vs. The Undertaker. One of my favorite JR calls. GREAT match.
"Make yourself famous, kid!"

Hogan and the NWO smashing The Rock with a semi truck. That was just so surreal to see Hogan as a heel in WWE, but even moreso to see him do something vile like that.

Any big DX moment. The parody of the Nation, invasion of WCW, reuniting in 2006, mocking Vince and Shane (HHH's SHUT UP was freaking hilarious).

HHH turning "heel" and aligning with Austin as the 2 man power trip. We all thought HHH was coming out to The Rock's rescue to take out Angle and Austin. But no, he attacks the Rock after taking out Angle. An amazing twist.

I may have to answer this question more than one time. So so so many moments it's hard to narrow them down. Mick Foley winning his first WWE title was huge. Austin and Vince in hospital as shown on Raw last night was one of my favorite moments on tv period. To give some credit to this year I have to say Lesner's return. The crowd was epic and when his music hit it was amazing. Going to think of some more and post again later. Awesome thread.

I don't really think you can call it a moment but the Taker vs Jeff Hardy ladder match in 03 was my favourite moment Raw moment. The match is easily one of the greatest ladder matches of all time and one of the best Raw matches of all time as well. How can you go pass this as a great moment?Hardy, was very talented and everyone knew he had to potential to maybe one day be a good upper midcarder. However though nobody thought he could of taken it to Taker, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. It legitmately looked like Hardy was going to win in the end. Everybody would of went from "yawn Taker in a squash" - " AWW MA GOD Hardy could actually win this!" (even though it wouldn't of made sense but most of the people who aren't apart of the IWC wouldn't have thought twice about it).

So yeah that would be my favourite Raw moment. If I have to summarise it I would say when Taker lifts Hardy's hand in approval, because not only did Undertaker approve of Jeff that night, but I think the whole WWE universe approved of Hardy.

im not trying to be a prick on my first post, just a friendly correction@ ecw sandman, ur favorite raw moment would by Shane buying WCW, not Vince, Nitro was in Palm Spings i believe that night and Shane showed up during Vince's prome on raw, him talking about sheving all the WCW guys, and Shane then made the annoument that he signed the contract, and now owned WCW. Which eventully lead to the Allicnce vs WWF storyline. Which btw i don't care what anyone says, it was a awesome stoyline. There couldn't have been a better time for the undertaker to be in the american badass gimmick, deadman gimmick just wouldn;t have worked here, because he was the leader off team WWF( triple h was out injuried with the first knee blow out) taker was a better fit at the time anyway. We had Mark Callaway not the deadman, so it fit.

When I say Vince's buys WCW I am not talking about in storyline I'm talking about the legit buying of WCW NO ONE Saw that coming. until the second to last Nitro.now the whole Shane '' buying '' WCW was just storyline but Vince truly owns WCW.

It's so hard to pick just 1. Im an attitude era guy, to me one that i remember the most is Mankind winning the title for the first time on January 4 1999, and i chose this for several reasons. The first reason is obviously Mankind winning his first title, even with the help he got. Second, was Austin coming in to one of the BIGGEST pops, if not the BIGGEST i've ever heard to this day (even though Lesnar's return and Rock's 2011 return are up there as well) to help Mick win the belt. And third is the whole back story to this episode, which was WCW Nitro announcer Tony Schiavone giving away the result of the main event of that raw and then saying "that'll sure put some butts in the seats". Turns out, about 600,000 people turned the channel to raw, and that was the last time Nitro would beat Raw in the ratings, which led to their demise. That definitely should be considered one of the best moments, if not the best.

nWo destroys the rock is the best moent on raw, it was surreal to see the nWo in the wwf and they had been handled poorly up until that point and they were handled terribly afterwards but that one segmant was awesome, they all hit thier finishers, the crowd was nuts for the whole segment, nWo spraypainted on the rocks back capped off with the assault from the semi truck on the ambulance, best segment ever
