What is your favorite Michael Jackson song?

Wow! I still can't believe it, but today is the 5-month anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. R.I.P. King of Pop!

Anyway... this is the 2nd of my "What is your favorite..." type threads. And since today is the 5-month anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, I decided to make this thread about him. My question is, what is your favorite Michael Jackson song?

For the 50 years that Michael Jackson was alive for, he's been known to the public media for over 45 of those years. He is definitely one of, if not the greatest performer ever to step foot on this earth. He really was able to live up to his nickname, "The King of Pop"!

Now, to answer my own question, I have more than one favorite Michael Jackson song. They include, "Man in the Mirror", "Smooth Criminal", "Black or White", "They Don't Care About Us", "Human Nature", "Another Part of Me", "Give In to Me", and much, much more. What are yours? Please also state why. Thanks!

Rip to the King Of Pop. I would say my favorite Micheal Jackson song is thriller. When I hear the song sometimes its take my stress away and gets me hyped up for something. SO sad that Mr. Jackson Died

I am not a fan of Michael Jackson "the person", but I am a huge fan of his music. It's really a shame that his personal shortcomings got in the way, and ultimately made his death a big "Whatever" in my eyes.

That all being said...Billie Jean is by far the best Michael Jackson song. Not just my favorite, but the best. The video was great, and his voice was at it's best here. He also didn't look like Shauna Sand and Joan Rivers had a baby. The beat is also great, and anyone can dance to it, even if you're not that good.

My favorite MJ song is, without a doubt, either The Way You Make Me Feel or Human Nature.

I love both of them and the performances that he gave for both, live performances, were of his absolute best.

RIP MJ. There will never be another like him. I miss him.

The Invincible album gets a bad rap for some reason, and that sucks, because it was actually a good album. Certainly not his best, but there were some tracks that were just fantastic. Here's one in particular that I love that just doesn't get enough attention. It's some of his best work...

I have two favorites, the first is 'Beat It'. Its such a great song witha great beat and great lyrics. My othere favorite is 'Say Say Say' with Paul McCartney. Again such a great song and you just have to sing-a-long. But if i had to pick one it would have to be Beat It.

My favorite is Billie Jean. That video was awesome and him and his voice and dancing makes that song even better.I liked all those lights and such in the video but that guy following him was weird.

Michael Jackson "the man" was a very strange person, I think everyone can agree on that. However Michael Jackson "the musician" was an absolute fucking genius! It's hard to just single one of his many, many classic songs as his very best. However my favorite Michael Jackson song is probably "Man in the Mirror". Meaningful dosen't even begin to describe this song. I absolutely love the lyrics! It's just an amazing song to listen too. No matter what mood I'm in, it makes me smile and I can't help but sing along.

I'm so excited about seeing "Michael Jackson's This Is It" tomorrow, it'll be great.

Smooth Criminal. Say what you want about how he wasn't wailing or whatever on this song... at the end of the day it's about what I'd rather listen to and that is Smooth Criminal. The tune is on point and that shit just makes me want to move whenever I listen to it.

I love this song. His singing was incredible, the guitar fucking owned. The whole song was perfect. 2nd place would have to go to Billie Jean though, classic Michael Jackson. One of the songs that really solidified him as a legend. Hell, 3rd place for me would be Scream with his sister Janet. I love that song, her performance of it at the MTV awards? Yeah, that was badass.

Even thought wasn't much of a fan he did have some good music. I'd have to agree with thewrestlinghero on what he said and go with Thriller. Cool ass song and a very cool video to boot. So I'd have go with Thriller as my favorite cause of the song and video.

For me, it’s kind of hard to choose one favorite song. I’m not a super fan of MJ, but I do like listening to his music and I guess I am kind of a fan. I would have loved to get the chance to go to one of his concerts before he died. Too bad it’s too late.

Like I said, it’s kind of hard to choose one song as my favorite from the plethora of songs he has, but I’ll try. I guess it’s either Billie Jean or Beat It. Both are great songs that I like singing along to and he sings them beautifully.
