the Raw Money in the Bank winner cashes in at Mania?


OK, heres my thought, Everyone is so consumed by the fact that Rock vs. Cena is probably going to be for the WWE Title. I can't see how this is a bad thing. The Rock's presence at WM27 was astounding as Mania had over 1 million PPV buys, which was a 30 percent increase over the previous year. We all know that the Rock more than likely will not come back full time, so what would be the point in giving him the title? Now take in the fact that someone on Raw will have the Briefcase this year.

Q1. Who will win MITB 2011?

Q2. When will they cash it in?

Now to answer my first question, the only reason to give the Rock the title? Well lets assume he does win, he is exhausted and starts a promo about he is the Most Electrifying Champion in all of Entertainment. BLAH BLAH BLAH. The crowd is going crazy, next thing you hear is Miz's entrance music (I come to play). Miz comes out with the briefcase and cashes in, and wins the title from the Rock. What would that do for the Miz (or for any superstar for that matter).

In the Miz's case it would propel him into mega heel status(like HHH once was). Yes I know Miz is a superb heel, and as far as he has come in the last year he still has yet to reach that level of mega heel, which he is capable of, but I can't see Cena taking him there. The Rock on the other hand has the ability to make anyone go over completely just by being involved.

With the obvious Entertainment transition goin on right now I think this could easily be the best and most entertaining thing that could come out of this whole situation. Everyone is so stuck on Rock/Cena, and Vince knows this, so who's to say he won't try something like this just for the element of surprise? He is on a kick that anything can happen and in my opinion this could have the potential at being one of, if not the biggest WTF moments in Mania history.

I like your idea of cashing it in at Wrestlemaina but for this to happen WWE will need to have the MITB match at Wrestlemania again because thats the only way the surprise will be bigger

for me the guy who should win it should be The Miz because like you said it would skyrocket him to a mega heel and make him a true main eventer for a very long time, but instead of cashing it in in the Rock/Cena match he should cash it in on the World title match why? well if he cashed it in the Rock/Cena match it will take away the moment of these 2 Icon's meeting each other and spoil the year build up to the match.

for Example lets say John Morrison win's the World title for the First time after chasing it for a year and always coming up short then at Wrestlemania he finally wins it the crowd will be going crazy because we've been waiting for ages for it to happen then The Miz's Music hits and Cashes in his briefcase and then beat's John Morrison and becomes the new World Champion how pissed off would the fans be and this would turn Miz into the biggest heel in the WWE and then this would create a Miz/Morrison feud which could be really good

I think CM Punk again. If he won, it would turn him to the MEGA HEEL that he, and WWE want. It could turn him away from Nexus and make him bigger than ANY superstar before!

i want someone new to win it. miz already did that before so theres no need in my opinion for him to do it again. i already had this idea that the money in the bank winner will cash in at mania and take the belt from the rock. i would want someone like ziggler,del rio or mcintyre to win but they would have to start building up now. but if i had to see a past winner win again i would say cm punk.

To be honest, I don't think Miz winning and cashing in MiTB on The Rock would get him any further than he already is at the moment. It worked the first time but I just don't see how winning the title would make him MORE of a heel. If they want him to be considered as a mega-heel then he needs to win out-right and not by use of a prop.

Remember also that the first time Punk cashed in he was a face, then the second time he was a heel. Or cashing in turned him heel, memory's a bit hazy. The point is repeating the exact same tactic as the same persona just wont work that well for Miz I reckon.

As to who could win it, I would like to see Truth get it but then somehow lose it like he did with his chance at Extreme Rules. If that happened then I think that's an additional storyline that could enhance his character who keeps getting screwed out of things.

Last year they had an older and a younger guy win the briefcase for each brand, and I think that could work again this year if we count Truth as an older guy. For Smackdown, either Wade Barret or Big Zeke would be my choices.

I love your idea. I remember a PPV where Rock put over Brock Lesnar and thought that went over pretty well. And you're right. Who better to put over Miz than The Rock? However, I feel like right now the feeling is probably that Rock actually loses to Cena at WM and then what if we had MITB winner Miz cash in and beat Cean? While not new, it would 'spoil' Cena's big win over The Rock, and would set up their next series of matches beginning on Raw the next night. Now, will people WANT to see this? Hard to say, but unless Rock is going to commit to many more dates with WWE (something I've read is being negotiated), then I don't see a good reason to put the belt on Rock. Obviously Cena is in this for the long haul, HHH is more or less retired, Undertaker is more or less retired, Edge is gone, Mysterio is on his last good leg, Big Show is short on time as well as Kane. So in the near future WWE is going to lose a LOT of major talent that has helped carry them for the last decade. I think it's why we're seeing ADR, Truth, Morrison, Miz and others get such a push. VKM knows they need to reload now and get these faces out front before some of the names I mentioned are gone.

So I see a scenario where Miz winds up with A title one way or the other. But I like your idea.

It was interesting to see Zeke split from The Corre. Have to wonder where he's headed next. If that's a run for the world title or if he'll be embroiled in this feud with The Corre for a while.

It is a pretty good idea but i would not choose The Miz, Mcmahon already has plans to keep him in the main event, give it to someone that needs the push like Sheamus who has been stuck in mid card since a couple of months ago.
