We Have A Report For A Missing Bodyguard. Where is Ezekial Jackson?

Tenta

The Shark Should've Worked in WCW
Has there been any sighting of him ever since he's been drafted to ECW? I understand that it's only an hour long show, and perhaps they have him back down in development at this moment. But is there any possible chance that Jackson can make it big in ECW?

He has a terrific look to him. He's strong, somewhat agile, and has an extremely mean look to him. Yes, the truth is that he's never proved anything since becoming Brian Kendrick's bodyguard. But Vince is not one to not try and shove a mountain of a man such as Ezekial. What do you all think is Ezekial's fate, and will he become a fixture on ECW at any point?

There was only one problem to him: he was bad in the ring. Jackson never did anything special at all other than look good. WIth Kozlov on ECW, why do we need another giant like that? Jackson will likely be released very soon as there's no real need for him at the time. WIth a guy like Diesel, the prototype bodyguard character, he was built up slowly and made to look like he could stand on his own. With a giant that's proving himself slowly on ECW, why would we need another one? Jackson was young and hadn't done anything but look intimidating. he needs a new character and if they can't think of anything for him, they'll stop paying him.

To some extent I'll agree with this. But here's where we differ KB. Whle Vlad has had his chance to work main event matches, while I'm not even sure Jackson has had a handful of matches on WWE programming. Vladimir was trotted out onto the main event scene, getting multiple shots at the WWE Title, and even going over clean on The Undertaker. And we all basically labeled him the shits. My question is this; why try to develop someone that's already failed when you could try to build up something you may not even know what you have yet. Vlad, unfortunately I believe, isn't going to get much better. Couldn't you at least try to tap some of the potential Jackson may have?

Partially because in Vlad's case, he had the amateur stuff to back it up. He was like Angle: you could put him out there because even if he didn't hvae the pro wrestling aspect built up yet, he could rely on his amateur stuff to get him through matches. With Jackson there's none of that there for him to rely on. All Jackson has is a look. WHile Jackson could do something in the future, until he has the basics down that's not going to happen.

That is the case, KB. Well then, let's put a bit of an addendum to this question. Let's say Jackson is sent back to FCW, which I guess is the case now. If he's able to get said basics down, does he have a place in ECW?

Well the thing is, WWE will have to answer a simple question: is he worth it? Now that's hard to say. Eventually there comes a point where the payoff that you could get from Jackson just isn't worth the amount put into him. Another factor I thought of was Mark Henry, the big strong African American monster. Jackson is the exact same character as Henry but not as seasoned. Jackson would have to also have a gimmick change and like I said, the quesiton would be is he worth it. That is hard to say right now as it depends on the reaction he gets and how long it takes him to learn. If that time is slow and the reaction is big, then yes. If it takes forever for him to learn only to get a mild reaction, then no.

My guess is that he is being repackaged somewhat. They could so some super heavyweight program with Koslov-Jackson. Koslov does is little, "I need competition" challenge and here comes big ass Eze Jackson. Or with the recent feuding of Sexual Chocolate and Mark Henry, maybe Atlast comes back with Jackson to feud with Henry.

Probably about to be released. WWE seems to not be interested in him and once that happens its only a matter of time. Like KB said he had the look but not much else, his ring work (from what we saw) was not the best and now he does not have Kendrick the IWC have fizzled out on him. With Mizark Henry and Vladimir Kozlov they have all the big monster type heels Vince loves oh so much plus with only an hour to shine on ECW theres just not enough time for him. Even if he gets sent back to FCW theres just no space for him on ECW. At the most I see them completely repackaging him and sending him as a monster heel on Smackdown as now that Umagas gone theres nobody really in that spot. Plus smackdown could do with a decent heel as all they seem to have is Jericho and Edge

He is in FCW right now and apparently is wrestling pretty regularly on their shows. They are just giving him some time in FCW to improve in the ring before bringing him back. I thought everybody knew that.

Hopefully he will get a chance once they do bring him back, either as a bodyguard to someone else or out on his own. Maybe they could put him with Benjamin?

No, a thread was already started on this weeks ago, and some genius thought of a great idea to introduce him back on to wrestling. Actually there were a ton of ideas that were great. Basically I feel he should come back as a larger than life, upper-class pimp, but with less focus on "Ho's", and more on business. Someone before suggested "KingPin" type esque character, and I feel that I would have to agree on that.

He should be a man who lends out his services either backstage or, in the ring however the buyer wants. He can say yes or he can refuse, but the buyer has 30 days to get him his money. From this Jackson may be able to set up an operation, or a stable with other members. Yet this would be a stable that could have no wrestling boundaries. If possible most fans wouldn't know who would be getting paid off by Jackson on the side to do certain things like throwing a match(kayfabe), causing a dq, making a hit etc... Hell, he could even bribe people for valuable information.

This type of character has many extenisions that lead in many scenarios which is always a good thing. I would enjoy something to this affect because it has range. If it goes far enough I could see him as ECW champion with R-Truth, and Cryme Tyme as his servants. All of them heel, and Shelton their new victim. Shelton could be the man who tries to end the corruption, and erase the "stereotype" of young black men that Jackson is helping to continue. Shelton could be the "role model" type. Jackson would be the opposite, and represent a culture of greed. Finally Mark Henry enters the picture, and alligns himself with Jackson and company. Making it harder for Shelton to be the "role model".

love the kingpin idea. not sure if he's that good but it would be a very cool gimmick.

henry and Ezek tag team anyone???? i mean y not. wwe could always use more true tagteams and they could come out and dominate ppl.

These are 2 possible outcomes:

1. Future Endeavoured.

2. Turns face and comes out dancing, happy..only to be Future Endeavoured.

Since when did anyone actually give a damn about what Ezekiel Jackson is up to?
He's just another guy who tries to be intimidating because they're overweight. It's not like the WWE's gonna go under coz he's not around or anything, so at the end of the day, he'll end up being cut.

he's coming back this week, but i dont care...he was an okay bodyguard but thats it, he wasnt special in the ring, no great physique, just a flabby wannabe lashley

Big Zeke made his ECW debut last night and I for one was very impressed. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. He looked intimidating, no sold his opponent, and completely overpowered his competition. His character is that of a big, strong, pissed off guy who wants to beat the shit out of everyone. He went out and made an impact. I personally like him better then Kozlov and a lot better then Sheamous. Obviously we need to see more of him to make a better evaluation, but he is off to a great start.

I almost forgot I had made this topic... And I, too, watched his match on ECW, and his promo. Yes, he looked absolutely imposing in the ring, and he may have worked a bit stiff in the ring, but this man looked far more imposing than Kozlov, and for any matter, any of the giants I've seen in the WWE in recent years.

As a matter of fact, it brought back memories of another wrestler who had a similar build up. I'm not going to call Jackson the next Diesel, but he has that cool and intense factor that you just don't see very much of in WWE these days. Go watch Jackson's match, and then compare it with this match between Diesel and a jobber.

And you know what else impressed me? His poise on the mic. He spoke little, yet you could tell it was powerful, and that he had no problem speaking on the Mic. I'd say he's better than Evan Bourne on the mic... And yes, better than Shelton Benjamin on the mic. Anyway, I like what I see, definitely. Let's see where this goes.

Yea, he was pretty atrocious in the ring, but fuck it, lots of other guys have been worse. Ezekial motherfucking rocks my socks. The guy was massive, he was scary, he had sweet rap music for his theme, he had everything he needed. He can easily fill Mark Henry's role on the program, being huge, black, and whipping ass. He is gonna be fuckin AWESOME. A bit more seasoning, and a bit more chracter development, and this guy is EVERYTHING the WWE looks for.

Maybe Tony Atlas should take him under his wing. Because that's who Ezekial reminds me of. Tony Atlas was a fuggin' monster back in the day during his run in Georgia Championship Wrestling. I think Ezekial can be a great asset to the ECW roster. He's a credible big guy who could feud with anyone on the roster. If he's built right, he could see some success. If not, then he's next on the releases.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I was thinking, "Did they get rid off Mark Henry for another Black Guy to be taught by Tony Atlas?"

It would make sense as they took out Finlay to make room for Sheamus, and got rid of Natalya to make way for Abraham Washington.

I think Ezekiel Jackson was impressive enough and hopefully will get a title reign of some description. Why is every so quick to jump on the "future endeavoured" bandwagon? they kept Big Daddy V for ages.

i see alot of potential for him over on ecw and becuz he's so big and ruthless he can pull off a good feud with another heel such as kozlov maybe..i would love to see them sometime in the future both feuding for the ECW title

I was going to start up a new thread about him, but then saw this.

He looked really good. I know it was only a jobber, but he crushed him and looked really imposing. Plus the clothesline was sick.

Ezekiel has been back on TV for two weeks, and I'm already a mark for the guy. For some reason, I just get a feeling from watching him that he is going to get an absolute MONSTER push, and end up being the replacement for Batista when he hangs it up.
