WCWF

GrandSword

Burning Hammaaaaah!!!
Inside an alternate universe, in the year 199X, WCWF was forged out of the fires of the Monday Night Wars. Both companies came together to give the fans what they wanted; the biggest stars facing off for the richest prizes in the sport.

The WWF and WCW were brought together at the 199X Wrestlemania, when WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin faced off against WCW Champion Goldberg. In an epic war, Goldberg was the victor and became the WCWF Heavyweight Champion of the World. Unifying the two top titles in the sport and therefore unifying the companies. World Champion Goldberg continues to defend his title against the greatest superstars in the history of the industry as WCWF now continues…

WCWF

The World Champion walks to the ring. The crowd chants his name over and over as he walks through the wall of fire. He emerges on the other side breathing out smoke as he roars and pyro explodes all over the arena. The giant gold title belt gleams on his huge shoulder as he steps into the ring and looks out over the thousands of fans in attendance tonight. Dressed in a leather motor cycle jacket and jeans, the Champion stands ready to talk, microphone in hand. But the chants don’t die down as the ovation is deafening and they keep chanting his name…”Goldberg…Goldberg…Goldberg…”

Goldberg roars and holds the title up and it brings the fans to life once again. Goldberg moves his arm and the fans go quite as he tells them all that last night at Mayhem he defeated Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner in a war. But he stands before them all still Champion of the World. He then turns slowly and looks directly at where he came from. The huge tron-screen looking back at him, and asks the question…”Who’s Next?”

There is a moment of silence, and then suddenly and simultaneously, the lights go out in the arena and the bell tolls! The fans go crazy as the Phenom’s music begins to play. Mist and smoke rises out of unknown parts of the building and a blue glow lights the path of the Deadman! The black hat and long coat, hide his features as he slowly makes his way towards the ring. Bursts of flame shoot from the stage as he almost glides to the bottom of the ramp. He lifts his coat so he can step to the ring apron, and then raise his arms bringing the arena lights back up so everyone can see the demon of Death Valley.

Stepping through the ropes the fans chant “Un-Der-Ta-Ker” as he steps up to the champ, eye to eye. The Champion has not moved, standing his ground and rasing his chin, offering it up to tempt the Deadman. The Undertaker moves to the left and grabs a microphone of his own. His first words bring everyone to silence as they must hear what he has to say. Looking into the eyes of the Champion, the Undertaker talks more to the fans then to Champion, playing mind games has been a part of the Undertaker’s success for the entirety of his career. He says that the fans will bear witness to the dethroning of the Champion and the dismemberment of Goldberg. He says that he is the alpha and the omega and he will destroy the man who stands before him, and wear the crown that rightfully belongs to him.

The two men are locked in a stare that makes the fans erupt as like two statues, these two titans prepare themselves for battle… The Undertaker makes the first move and slowly brings his hand to his throat and symbolically slashes it slowly, grimacing and rolling his eyes into the back of his head as he does. Goldberg, still refusing to retreat, has had enough and rips off his jacket. The fans explode as the Champion sets himself to clash with the Phenom right here and now. The Undertaker takes one step back and like a gunfighter brushes his long coat to the side, not taking his eyes off of the hulking man standing in front of him.

The Undertaker then raises his hand to his hat, and with an evil grin, dips it at Goldberg and steps out onto the apron, and walks down the steel steps. Goldberg who was ready for a fight can’t beelive it as the fans boo as they wanted to see these two giants of the sport lock up. Taker doesn’t even look back as he walks off. Goldberg shakes his head and picks up his title and holds it in the air so the Undertaker can see him on the tron-screen.

The Undertaker stops and slowly looks over his shoulder, but still has the mic. He speaks … telling Goldberg that the reckoning by his hands will come for Goldberg soon… it will come at Starrcade!

Goldberg nods his head in agreement and mouths the words, “You’re Next”… as Taker walks up the ramp and the lights dim slowly until they are out , making the Deadman vanish. Goldberg roars and holds the belt up one more time as the fans cheer and chant his name, as WCWF goes to the ringside commentators of Jim Ross and Jim Cornette, as they talk about what an epic match Starrcade will have with the World’s Heavyweight Champion Goldberg facing off against the Undertaker for the first time ever.

Match #1
#1 Contender’s match for the United States Championship
Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho vs. Taz

As all four superstars enter the arena, the commentators run through each man’s strengths. As each man square off and wait for the bell, “Self-High Five” plays and they all look up at the entrance ramp to see the United States Heavyweight Champion, Diamond Dallas Page walk out. Wearing the US belt around his waist and a huge smile, the “People’s Champion” jumps into the sea of fans and runs through them, before again diving back into ringside and sitting with the commentary team.

They welcome him, but the four men haven’t taken their eyes off of him. He shakes their hands and then looks up at ring. DDP, never one to back down, jumps up on the broadcast table, and gives the sign of the Diamond Cutter… “BANG!” he yells, just as the bell rings and all four men go at it in the middle of the squared circle.

Jericho looks to put down Taz from behind, but the Human Suplex Machine absorbs the blows, and then lands a few of his own before hitting a freakish belly to belly overhead release suplex, that sends the “King of the World” over the top rope and out to the floor!

Taz though is caught by a flying sabot kick to the temple from the Whole Dam Show! Rob does the thumbs to talk himself up, but Eddie takes advantage of Rob’s arrogance and dropkicks him out of the ring. Eddie goes after Taz viciously with stomps and then whips him into the ropes driving a knee into his gut. Taz drops to his knees, and Eddie hits a short, but devastating DDT! 1..2… Taz kicks out with authority. Eddie looks for a submission, but Taz reverses it inot an armbar, only to be hit with a missile dropkick from Y2J!

Jericho suplexes Taz, and then clotheslines Eddie. Lionsault on Eddie! Lionsault o Taz! No! Taz has caught Jericho and rolled him into some sort of triangle choke from the mat! Jericho screams out as he struggles to find the ropes.

BOOM! RVD hits the Five Star Frogsplash on Taz, Jericho avoids tapping, but Rob goes after him, only to be poked in the eye and then rolled up..1…2… Eddie makes the save!

Guerrero hits an atomic drop on Jericho and then a Gory Bomb! 1..2… Rob dropkicks Eddie in the face at the count of 2! Van Dam and Jericho look for a vertical suplex, each man counters the other, grapevining the leg with their own. They push each other away, and Y2J hits the enzaguri! 1..2.. Rob kicks out! Only for Taz to roll along like a mack truck and double clothesline both men! He starts hitting suplexes on anything that moves!

He then looks for his Tazmission on RVD, but he gets mule kicked for his trouble, right inot a backslide from Eddie!! 1..2… RVD makes the save at 2 and 9/10ths! Taz gets up only to be double dropkicked through the ropes by RVD and Eddie! Eddie then sucker punches Rob in the mouth and then a big Euro uppercut. He pins Rob with his feet on the ropes!! 1..2…the ref sees the feet, and tells eddie he wont have any of it. Jericho rushes Guerrero but ends up being backbody dropped out onto the floor landing on Taz!

Van Dam nails a roundhouse kick from the mat to Eddie’s face! Splittlegged moonsault!! 1..2.. Eddie kicks out! Eddie rolls away looking to escape but RVD goes up top and hits his Five Star again!

But Eddie moves and Rob crash and burns on the mat! Guerrero hits a brainbuster! 1..2..3!

Winner and #1 Contender: Eddie Guerrero
9:26

Guerrero gets his arm raised and he does a little smug dance, before turning his attention to age who stands up to make eye contact with his next opponent. Eddie has his cheeky smile on his face and slaps his abs to say that’s where the title is going to go. DDP steps into the ring and walks up to Eddie slowly. He looks at him squarely in the eyes, before offering his hand to wish him good luck.

Eddie looks at the hand for quite sometime as the fans chant his name. Eddie looks around at the fans getting their approval to shake the Champ’s hand. And so he does.. or so Page thinks, Edie pulls his hand away and slaps DDP’s face with the other! Eddie rolls out of the ring, as Page sucks it up, nods with a little mad grin on his face, and shakes it off. Guerrero gets some boos fro his actions as he backs away telling Page that the title is his at Starrcade!

Good Ole’ JR and Jim Cornette welcome everyone back to WCWF and talk about Starrcade having now two big main events. Eddie Guerrero will take on the US Champion in Diamond Dallas Page and the World Champion Goldberg will defend against the Phenom, the Deadman, the Undertaker!

Match #2
Ken Shamrock vs. Kurt Angle

This is Angle’s third ever professional match in as many weeks and has so far been undefeated. He walks to the ring with microphone in hand and again gives his “sermon” to the masses about the three “I’s”, Integrity, Intensity and Intelligence. He says that he is an Olympic Gold medallist as he has done so far since his debut and that he will soon be the Champion of the World. But out walks the World’s Most Dangerous Man, Ken Shamrock, who doesn’t seem at all impressed by Angle’s speech.

The cage fighter looks Angle up and down as if he is his prey. The bell rings and the two men lock up. Neither man seems to be able to get an advantage as the crowd is firmly behind Shamrock. Shamrock goes for a leg, but Angle is able to escape and put Ken on his back with a deep arm drag. Angle twirls and woos acting very happy with himself. Shamrock though isn’t and attacks, but Angle again is able to arm drag Shamrock to the mat and then hits a belly to belly suplex! Shamrock is dazed as Angle again plays up to the fans. Ken slaps the mat in frustration, but then sets himself.

The two lock up again, but this time Ken rocks Angle with a forearm shot! He looks for his belly to belly suplex, but Kurt is able to reverse it into a hammerlock and send Shamrock’s shoulder into the turnbuckle. Angle, still holding onto the hammerlock, he launches Ken’s shoulder through the turnbuckle pads and into the ring post!

Ken roars in pain as Kurt hits a vertical suplex, he floats over and pins his shoulders.. 1..2.. Ken kicks out! Ken is in pain as Kurt stomps away on the shoulder. Shamrock lashes out with a right hand but Kurt’s too fast and he ducks gets behind him and hits a German suplex! 1..2.. kickout! Kurt again goes after the shoulder, but Shamrock fights back. He hits two powerslams and then a running knee right to Kurt’s chest sending him into the corner. Shamrock unleashes some heavy kicks and strikes!

Kurt dives out tohe floor to escape, but Shamrock is after him, but he is running on adrenaline it seems and Kurt is able to whip him into the steel steps on his bad shoulder! Shamrock is rolled back in and Angle follows him, but Shamrock isn’t done and he hits Kurt with big clotheslines and then again looks for the Belly to Belly to finish him, but Kurt blocks it… Olympic Slam!!! Angle hooks the tights…

Liger uses his weight advantage and pushes Rey into the corner and looks for a chop, Rey maybe the only man on earth faster than the Cruiserweight Champion, ducks the blows sprints to the ropes and comes back at him with a leaping clothesline! Liger doesn’t go down though and spins around and when Rey comes at him a second time is able to catch him with kick to the gut and then looks for a LigerBomb! They shake hands and Rey Jr. leaves the ring to gve the proper spotlight to the champion, as the fans chant Liger’s name…

Hart says tonight’s big main event is going to go down in history as one of the greatest matches in WCWF history. 6 of the very top guys in the sport going head to head. Sting then says it’s going to be like a nuclear explosion in that ring tonight, and he can’t wait to get in there and start taking people apart! Goldberg is alittle more calm, he says that tonight he gets to see what the Undertaker is all about. He’s heard stories of how he has won the match before he even starts it with his entrance, or how he intimidates the referee. Well tonight Undertaker, you are next!

Match #4
The Hardy Boyz vs. Raven and Saturn

The fans go berserk as out comes Team Extreme! They run down the ramp and pump up the crowd. But their opponents change the mood as out walk the maniacal and vicious Raven and Saturn. They stop and survey their opponents at the bottom of the ramp, before slowly looking around at the fans booing them. They enter the ring even slower still, but then instantly explode and set upon the Hardys! The throw both guys out of the ring and then Saturn uses his body as a weapon as he hurls himself over the top rope and crashes down on both of the brothers.

Raven comes out to meet them and lays in rights and lefts on both men and then hits a discuss lariat on Matt, and then drags Jeff to his feet and smashes the back of his head into the guard rail with a side Russian leg sweep. The ref desperately tries to get them back into the ring, so Raven rolls Matt in and Saturn jumps up on the apron and then drops a leg drop on the back of his head! 1..2.. Matt rolls the shoulder as Raven finally gets to his corner. Matt looks up for his brother on the apron but he isn’t there and Saturn sounds laying in knees to his back. Matt goes for the ropes, and the ref backs Saturn away. This gives Matt just enough time to swing a kick into Saturn’s gut and then get to his feet.

Matt blasts Saturn with a jumping lariat and both men are down. The ref looks for the ten count, but Raven gets in and picks up Matt and body slams him on the mat, and then baseball slides into his face. He then drags Saturn over and makes the tag. Raven is brutally attacking matt and pulls him up looking for the Raven Effect. Matt pushes him away, and kicks Raven in the gut. He goes for the Twist of Fate, but Raven pushes away himself. Both men hit each other with clotheslines and they are both down on the mat.

Out to the ring walks the former #1 contender to the World title, Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner. Steiner talks about how he hates Goldberg, but he hates Roddy Piper even more for giving the Undertaker a title shot instead of awarding the Genetic Freak a rematch. He says he destroyed Goldberg and he got lucky to retain the belt. Steiner says either Piper gives him a rematch or he is going to go into the back and rip Piper’s arms and legs off and beat him to death with them.

Steiner waits a few seconds, and when nothing happens he makes a move for backstage when out walks another powerhouse to greet him. The man with the largest arms in the world is stopped in his tracks when he is met head on with The British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith. The Bulldog tells Steiner, that he isn’t going to do a damn thing because he is going to show him he is nothing but a loud mouth. Steiner tells Smith to get out of his way, but davey Boy wont have anything of it and challenges him to a match at Starrcade. Steiner tells him “Hell No!” and brushes past him…. Boom! Smith hits Steiner in the back and then rolls him down the steel ramp to the ringside area. Smith puts the boots to Steiner and then rolls him into the ring. Smith comes in and hits clothesline after clothesline as the crowd erupt! Steiner quickly bails as Smith tells him to get back into the ring.

Steiner backs away telling Smith he’s got no chance, but Smith seems confident that Piper will make the match as he celebrates with the fans.

Backstage, Mean Gene is with Stone Cold Steve Austin! Gene says that tonight Austin has the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels in what could very well be a war. Austin says he doesn’t care about Michaels and that tonight he’s gonna’ stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk it dry. Austin says he wants the World title and he’s coming for Goldberg whether Roddy Piper likes it or not. He’s gonna raise hell and take what is his around here and if Shawn Michaels the little sexy boy toy gets in his way he’ll crack his skull and that’s the bottom line.

Match #5
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels

Michaels walks out to the ring and says he lays down for nobody and Austin can say how tough he is all he wants, he is going to get some chin music… the glass breaks, the crowd erupts and Michaels runs down to head him off at the bottom of the ramp, Austin ducks and launches into heavy right hands bashing Michaels all over ringside.

The two men battle back and forth and finally they make it back into the ring. Michaels hits a flying forearm shot knocking down Austin, and then kips up. He starts to tune up the band already, but Austin wisely rolls to the outside. Michaels follows him out and they brawl again. Michaels quickly hops up on the apron, kicks Austin in the face and then hits a big cross body on Austin!

Both men are down, and the ref almost counts them out, but they both get back in the ring. Shawn fires in some right hands, but Austin is double tough and he absorbs them and then fires back some of his own sending Michaels into the corner. Austin then starts his stomps crushing Michaels in the corner! Austin then by the hair drags Michaels inot the middle and then hits a suplex. Austin then bounces off the rope and drops a big double elbow shot to the forehead! Michaels is in trouble as, Austin sets ready for the stunner…

Macho then grabs Austin and to the ire of the crowd pile drives him into the canvas! The crowd boos as they know of Austin’s neck problems and Macho dusts off his hands. He screams at the fans saying something like” this is your tough guy!?” Or something like that. He then climbs the to the top rope and savours the moment. He looks down on the Rattlesnake and then unleashes the Sky Elbow to the heart!!!! Austin convulses as Macho walks off. Rubbish is thrown at Savage as he walks to the back. EMTs run out to check on Austin as WCWF goes to commercial.

A recap of during the break, shows Austin being stretchered out of the arena…. And then a replay of him being attacked from behind by a returning Macho Man Randy Savage..

Backstage Mean Gene is standing by with Paul Bearer, who has three of the most sadistic and powerful superstars in the history of the business, Big Van Vader, the Great Muta and the Undertaker standing behind him. Bearer laughs at the "good guys" statements and preaches that no one is a match for these three men. There could very well be blood shed in the ring tonight as Hart, Sting and Goldberg will come face to face with their own mortality.

Main Event
World Champion Goldberg, Sting and Bret Hart vs. The Undertaker, Big Van Vader and the Great Muta w/ Paul Bearer

All six men get their huge entrances as they walk out ready for one of the biggest main events in WCWF history. The Champion of the World of course wants to start off, and he demands the Undertaker face him. But Taker smirks and slowly shakes his head “no” as into the ring gets Vader. Goldberg snorts, cracks his neck a few times and waits for the bell. And here we go!!!

The bell sounds and Goldberg and Vader lock up with such force. They struggle to find who is the strongest and the two bulls push and shove each other back and forth. Vader’s experience though allows him to get his legs underneath the lock up and he lifts a knee into Berg’s mid section. Vader then judo throw of sorts the champ to the ground. But Goldberg pops right back up and goes for another lock up!

The two push and shove again, until Goldberg pushes Vader to onto his back in a display of power that has to be seen to be believed! Vader is livid and now attacks but he walks right into a clothesline from Goldberg. He goes down but tries to get back up and d it again, but is hit again by another clothesline. Vader roars and throws big right hands, but they are blocked and returned. Goldberg hits the ropes and hits a flying shoulder tackle! Vader goes down hard and rolls out of the ring. Vader tags in Muta, and Goldberg is ready for the next challenge, but the Stinger wants in, and this time it’s about explosive speed as they both hit the ropes looking to take the other out with clotheslines, drop kicks and splashes at a lightning pace.

Sting body slams Muta, and goes for a big splash, but his evil mirror image gets the knees up and Stings ribs a hurt. Muta blasts Sting with brutal stiff kicks and then tags in the Undertaker, who starts bashing Sting with everything he has, all the time keeping eye contact with Goldberg, sending him a vicious message. Sting ahs taken a beating and the three monsters start tagging in and out! Sting is in deep trouble, as Taker is tagged back in and he goes Old School on the Franchise, but Sting rips the Deadman off the ropes and he crashes on the back of his head from 13 feet in the air.

Sting has the crowd behind him now as he reaches out and tags in the Hitman! Hart immediately starts working on Taker’s legs. He drops knees, cannonballs on them and locks in a figure four. Taker is now the one in trouble, but muta soars over the top rope with a sommersault plancha making Hart release the hold. The ref gets in Muta’s face, but Taker is up, and he tags Vader in how blasts Hart in the back. Vader Bomb!!

1..2.. Goldberg makes the save. Vader gets in Goldberg’s face, but the Champ swings a big right hand right into his masked face! Vader is dropped and Hart rolls him up 1..2.. Vader kicks out. Taker comes in and blindsides Goldberg! The two men spill out to the floor, Vader tags Muta and then smashes Sting in the corner. Vader attacks again, but Sting moves, hits the ropes and delivers a Stinger Splash! Muta though kicks Sting in the temple and as the ref checks on him and tries to egt him and Vader out of the ring, Muta spits green mist inot the face of Bret Hart!

Hart is blinded and then body slammed followed by the vicious explosive Muta elbow! Shining Wizardo! 1..2..3!

Winners: The Undertaker, the Great Muta and Big Van Vader
17:52
The match is over but the Undertaker and Goldberg still continue to attack each other on the floor. Security has to come in to separate them and stop Muta and Vader beating down post match the Stinger and the Hitman!

Undertaker and Goldberg are finally separated, and Goldberg sees his partners being savaged, so he dives into the ring. Muta escapes, but Vader isn’t fast enough and is speared to the absolute delight of the fans! Taker does the slash throat thing to Goldberg behind a sea of security as the Champ roars at Taker that he is next, as WCWF goes off the air.

Bearded Review

-A new concept from GS? I can dig it. I like the backstory at the beginning giving us some insight on how things are coming together. This is definitely a unique approach, but I think you will handle it rather well.

-Nice intro with Goldberg and Taker. Seems them to have a date at Starrcade, which is when? I'm assuming that is the next PPV as it is mentioned throughout the show, just with no date.

-Very fast paced fatal four way with Eddie winning and going up against DDP. I love DDP and Guerrero, so I'm looking forward to that one. I dig the interaction with Page and Eddie. A nice way to get heat and plant seeds for the feud. Good to see emphasis put on the US title by JR and Corny.

-Fun match with Angle and Shamrock. Would have loved to see that one with each other in their prime. I smell a feud here as this is a young Angle and he needs a big feud to start him off. Shamrock can provide that.

-Piper, I fucking love that guy. Great main event for the show. Another great match here, probably my favorite of the show. Liger and Rey putting on a show stealing performance. Fun, fast paced match.

-Quick tag team match. Nothing more, nothing less. The right team won and that's what matters.

-And here I thought HBK/SCSA were gonna go nuts and put on a clinic, but instead Randy Savage comes from nowhere and attacks Austin. Austin/Savage should be epic.

-A match with a main event feel and it delivered. Fantastic match with loads of tension. Muta and Vader as a team against Hitman and Sting? Or will we see separate feuds spar from that with Vader/Sting and Hart/Muta. Either way I'm excited to see what happens there. Goldberg/Taker should be fantastic as well.

-Overall a solid first show. Not as good as your TNA work, but still a quality read. Matches seemed a bit quick, but I can't fault you for that. Match writing (as we know) can be strenuous. You set up some potential feuds and I look forward to seeing everything come full circle. You are a workhorse and handling two BT is quite the task. I wish you the best my friend.

GCB's REVIEW - WCWF!

Loving this new concept of yours mate, I'm happy to be able to read something of yours where I feel I know the characters involved. There are a couple I'm not sure of who they are (Liger and Great Muta) but I'll check them on YouTube to familiarise myself. It's easier to do that than it was for your TNA thread. However, my first comment on the show would be that a picture or two would be useful. So I can see what these guys look like without Google or YouTube!

Although I love the idea of Goldberg vs. Undertaker for the strap, I was a little disappointed in the way it was just made immediately. There was no build up, no tension, no feud developing. I'm sure that before Starrcade you will develop a feud but maybe having the 6-man tag match tonight - maybe Taker pins Goldberg but the champion then spears Taker? - would have built a little anticipation for the PPV match for the title. Undertaker chickening out caught me off guard at first until I realised he was a heel! Mind you, I prefer that to you having a roster coloured red for heels and blue for faces like some people do!

Eddie Guerrero wins the first match of your BT against RVD, Jericho and Tazz for the right to face DDP for the US Title. Good win for Eddie, liked the recap style - you got across the information needed without making it too long. That's my usual gripe with recaps - not enough detail. You got it right all through the show - except for HBK vs. Austin IMO - so the recap form is right for this thread. I hope you'll write full matches for the PPV though?

- Establishing Angle as a heel is a good move - tights to beat Shamrock. I loved this Kurt Angle that was a youngster in WWF and I always prefer him as a heel. Not a fan of Shamrock but I think a build for Angle is needed and having him beat the likes of Shamrock is a good thing.

- Rowdy Roddy Piper is the commissioner of the show which I really like, loved the Hot Rod! He signs the Undertaker vs. Goldberg clash, like I said before, I'd have held off for a while to let a feud develop before signing it this early. Main event tonight should be fun.

- Liger vs. Rey Mysterio, good match and a good effort from the young Rey Rey. I'm familiar with Liger's name but not his work. However, I am aware of the significance of him shaking hands with Mysterio as I've heard him referred to as the greatest masked wrestler of all time. I'd like Mysterio to now try and earn another shot at Liger for the title with Liger encouraging him and working with him. That way you'd have numerous routes to go - heel turn for one or Mysterio actually beating Liger in the end.

- Not much to go on with Hardys beating Raven/Saturn, I suspect it was all about the post-match beatdown and a feud being developed. Will see how it turns out.

- I didn't get the need for the Steiner and Bulldog thing. I didn't understand why Bulldog wanted to interfere in Steiner's business really, it wasn't clear. Having seen Steiner in WWE, I'm not much of a fan either which probably doesn't help! Again, I'll see where you go with that one.

- Austin and Shawn Michaels - is HBK heel or not? Couldn't really pick it out of what you wrote. I get a feeling he is heel as he left Austin to take the beating from Savage afterwards, really excited about Austin vs. Savage. Never saw Savage as a heel in WWF when I watched him (early 90's) so I'm interested to see how you portray him and what he does in the BT. I thought the actual match needed a tad extra detail, it felt a little rushed this one, to help me set the characters in my head.

- Main event descends into chaos as expected! Dirty win for the heels, classic booking. Good match, not much more to say on it as I've told you what I thought of Goldberg and Taker already. I felt the match announcement at the end of the show (or maybe just a challenge) would have been perfect here.

- Good first show and I think you'll be better as times goes. I'd consider adding a few images if I was you. A roster list would be good but not broken into heels/faces and upper/mid/lower cards. Also, just watch the spelling. A few words weren't spelt right and the grammar was off, it can be a little off-putting. I'll look forward to the second show, good luck with two BT's though!

Right, I'm gonna try a little review, nothing special here. First off, PLEASE LET THIS BE PERMANENT. I love this idea already, it's absolutely brilliant.

- Undertaker vs Goldberg? Interesting and it should be a huge match involving two guys getting beaten pretty badly. I wanna make a prediction early on, but I can't, so I'll see how you progress with their rivalry.

- The #1 Contenders match is crazy and that's why I love it. Glad that Eddie pulled off the victory, even though I'd prefer Jericho, but that's just me being biased I guess. Eddie should end up having a brilliant match against DDP, so I am looking forward to that as well. Also, as GCB said, your recap form works perfectly, so well done there.

- Angle vs Shamrock is a good one, Angle is quite obviously taking the advantages when he can and the crowd aren't afraid of letting him know they dislike that. Maybe we'll see Angle progress to become even dirtier as weeks go by?

- Mene Gene & Roddy Piper talking out the back. Piper signs up Golberg vs Taker at Starrcade so it's official and I'm a happy man. The 6-Man tag match should be amazing as well, I'm looking forward to it.

- Now, like GCB, I've heard Liger's name, but never seen his work. Seems pretty exciting as he takes on Rey Mysterio now, with Liger coming out on top. I wanna see Mysterio get a title match, maybe he'll pull out a surprise win?

- Now, the Hardyz beat Saturn/Raven. My one complaint is... 4 minutes? Feels like it was possibly too short. Then we see the heels beat down Team Extreme post-match. But which team is vying for the titles? I see we've got two tag teams in a feud, how about Road Warriors getting some competition?

- Steiners promo didn't do much for me and so we move on to HBK vs Austin. Interesting match and then Macho Man attacks Austin. Seeing Savage as a heel is strange I tell you. Where's Michaels left in this equation? I guess we'll find out soon.

- Main Event is a good one with 6 great guys in it. All of it goes down to pot when everything does crazy, like a classic tag team match! I'm guessing 3 feuds spring from this, but I'm just really focusing on Goldberg/Taker to be honest.

Great show though GS. I'll definitely be reading this when you post it. Good luck handling this and the TNA one, hopefully all goes well for yoU!

WCWF

Inside an alternate universe, in the year 199X, WCWF was forged out of the fires of the Monday Night Wars. Both companies came together to give the fans what they wanted; the biggest stars facing off for the richest prizes in the sport.

Soon after WCWF was formed, Commissioner Rowdy Roddy Piper reached out to Paul Heyman and brought on board ECW, so the fans could see the likes of Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Taz, Jerry Lynn, Mike Awesome and others go head to head with those from WCW and WWF to see who are the very best in the world today. Live on WCWF TV, the ECW World title was to merge with the WCWF title to complete the Triple Crown and unify the greatest Championships in the sport. ECW Champion Taz’s debut appearance in WCWF was against WCWF Champion Goldberg, winner takes all street fight.

The stipulation suited the hardcore warrior Taz’s style and the two men collided in a bloody encounter. After an epic battle Goldberg countered the Tazmission by using raw power to escape and then reverse the hold into an out of nowhere Jackhammer, to integrate the ECW title and retain the WCWF Championship!

In WCWF, wins and losses count. When a superstar wins, he moves closer to the top and getting an opportunity at Championships. Defeating a high rated superstar will fast track one up the ladder, and possibly leap frogging other superstars to reach for the grandest prize in the industry, the WCWF Heavyweight Championship of the World.

The year is 199X and in an alternate reality, the wrestling business as we knew it was completly transformed. Forged from the fires of the Monday Night Wars, the WCWF was created to showcase the best against the best where dream matches became reality. This is the story of ....

WCWF

The pyro explodes as the sold out twenty thousand screaming fans on hand prepare themselves for another blockbuster show of epic proportions! In the ring stands the veteran interviewer of the WCWF, Mean Gene. He welcomes everyone to WCWF to which he receives a huge response. The arena suddenly goes dark and you can split the anticipation like a knife as spotlights appear searching for something. Then a heavy guitar riff hits and “What up Mach” plays and the spotlights converge on the entrance ramp as out walks the very jacked up Macho Man Randy Savage!

The commentators talk about his impactful return to professional wrestling last week when he inexplicably attacked Stone Cold Steve Austin. Commentators Jim Ross and Bobby Heenan say that Austin was severely injured at the hands of Savage and could be out for a few weeks. Savage enters the ring to a mixed reaction as a legend of the sport he joins Mean Gene and the lights come back on. Mean Gene of course then asks Savage the tough question, to explain himself. Why did he attack Austin on his return?

Savage soaks in the boos and looks around at the enormous crowd. Savage in his trademark gravely voice tells Mean Gene something! He says he doesn’t have to explain his actions to anybody. But he is going to. He says that he watched this so called Stone Cold killer, run around the WWF as it was known at the time, raising hell, attacking management and thinking he was some sort of bad ass. Savage says that Austin is nothing but a poor imitation of the Macho Man. He says that nobody is as bad ass as him. He is the toughest S.O.B. in wrestling and he thought he had to come back and teach this punk a lesson. “Austin thought he was bad, but last week he found out what bad really is… ooooh yeah!”

Mach turns to the crowd adjusting his sunglasses as the fans boo him. He points at his bulging biceps when the crowd explodes as the Champ is here! His music blasts out of the speakers as the Heavyweight Champion of the World in his leather jacket bursts through the wall of pyro with the giant gold belt over his shoulder. He surges to the ring as twenty thousand chant his name in unison, “Goldberg! Goldberg! Goldberg!”

Savage steps back as the hulking Champion steps into the ring. Mean Gene is as excited as the fans to see the big man and rushes to get his comments. Goldberg stares at Savage and snarls at him. Goldberg tells Savage that he isn’t friends with Steve Austin, in fact they hate each other’s guts. But when WCWF was formed, they went to war to see who would become the WCWF Heavyweight Champion of the World. Austin gave as good as he got, and although they will never get along, Goldberg says he respects the man. And would never attack him from behind the way Savage did. Goldberg moves only a few inches from the Macho Man’s face and says that Savage isn’t “bad”, he’s a coward.

Savage doesn’t take too kindly to this, and rips off his sunglasses at the mention of the word. He gets right up in Goldberg’s face staring right through him. Neither man budges until, Savage slowly turns his gaze towards the giant gold belt on Goldberg’s shoulder. He steps back two paces and snatches the microphone out of Mean Gene’s hands. Savage challenges Goldberg to a World title match tonight! The fans erupt as Goldberg never backs down from any man. The Champions roars “You’re Next!” and the fans give out a deafening pop, as Mean Gene announces to the fans and everyone watching around the world, that we have got ourselves a World title bout right here tonight!!!

Match #1
The Hardy Boyz vs. Rob Van Dam and Sabu

Both teams get huge pops from the fans as they enter the ring and prepare themselves for the match. RVD showboats to the fans, which doesn’t impress his seemingly begrudging partner. The young Hardyz though look focused and ready to keep moving up the tag division ladder. Matt and Rob start things off with an tie up, but Rob quickly and arrogantly takes control with a headlock takeover into drop kick. Matt is sent into the turnbuckles. Rob hits a monkey flip, and Matt grabs his lower back in pain.

RVD bows to the fans as Sabu wants a tag. Rob waves him off saying he’s got somemore moves up his sleeve. Sabu rolls his eyes, as Van Dam pulls Matt to his feet by his hair and then hits a front suplex, and then follows it up with Rolling Thunder! He again bows to the fans and showboats as Jeff paces on the outside reaching in for his brother to tag him. Rob taunts Jeff with the R.V.D. thumbs and then as Matt gets to his feet lands a springboard sabot kick to the jaw! Cover! 1..2.. Matt barely kicks out at 2.

This has been total domination from RVD as he tags in Sabu who doesn’t go in for all the flash. He starts stomping away on the back of Matt’s skull and then drags him to the middle of the mat where he hits leg drop after leg drop across his face..1…2.. Jeff makes the save just in the nick of time!

The ref gets in Jeff’s face as he returns to his corner. Sabu comes off the top rope with another leg drop! But Matt is able to move at the last moment! With everything he’s got he desperately tags in Jeff who quickly sprints to Van Dam and knocks him off the apron. He crashes and burns against the guard rail the only way RVD can, and then drop kicks Sabu in the back of the head. The match then turns into spot fest mode as each man tries to outdo the other with over top stunts. Sabu then pulls a table out from under the ring and the fans go crazy.

He slides it into the ring but both Hardyz drop kick it back into his face! The table stays on the apron and drag it into the ring, but RVD flies off the top and cross body/ splashes Matt! He spins up to be caught in a leaping spinning lariat from Jeff. And the compactor for 2! Sabu climbs up the ropes, but crotches him on the top turnbuckle and then climbs to the middle turnbuckle and hits a Twist of Fate from off the top!!! 1…2… Rob makes the save, but is bashed in the back by Matt and then suplexed! The Hardyz set up the table as the ref gets in their faces but they give him the double gun sign and then lay Sabu across the table. Matt goes up and roars before unleashing the Leg Drop! Sabu is sent crashing through the table and is covered..1.2.

Dropkick to the face from Van Dam breaks the count! The ref desperately tries to remove the broken table, as Rob hits roundhouse kicks to the both Hardyz’ faces. And then hits a Split legged Moonsault but only gets 2! As Matt makes the save and then clotheslines Rob over the top rope, but they both go over and crash onto the floor. Sabu and Jeff exchange punches, but when Sabu hits the ropes for a big time move, it is ducked and Jeff flies off the ropes with a flying forearm strike! Sabu is down, and Jeff rips off his shirt and climbs the turnbuckles and unleashes the Swanton Bomb!1..2… RVD makes the save and he and Hardy exchange blows in the middle of the ring.

The ref finally trying to get control, pushes Rob into his corner and tells him to get out…. And that leads to Raven and Saturn coming out. Jeff moves back to Sabu but is hit with the Raven Effect DDT! Saturn pulls Sabu onto Jeff and the ref turns to see the cover..1..2..3.

Winners: Rob van Dam and Sabu
11:09

RVD raises his hands in victory, not really phased by Raven and Saturn’s interference. But They roll in and start a beat down on the Hardy Boyz. Sabu doesn’t appreciate the assist and pushes Saturn, which leads to a confrontation. But Rob gets in between them and tells Sabu not to get involved in their business. The winners walk off as Saturn hits his top rope leg drop on Matt. Raven even pulls out his snot rag from his back pocket and shoves it in the face of Jeff. They celebrate their attack as the fans boo them as the cameras go backstage…

… with WCWF Commissioner Rowdy Roddy Piper. Piper is with Mean Gene, and Gene asks if tonight’s main event is officially a World title match? Piper flips out as he always does and tells Gene “You betchya!” He is very excited and says he loves to see two guys fight and what better way to follow last week’s huge main event than to have a big time one on one, rock ‘em, sock ‘em, drag out fight between two of the industry’s best for the Championship of the World.

Gene asks about the Undertaker and how he thinks he will react. Piper says that Taker won his #1 Contender’s match at Ground Zero 2 weeks ago and would hazard to guess doesn’t care who he faces in the Main Event of Starrcade 199X. Taker wants to be champion just like everyone else and his opportunity is soon. But he thinks it’s only fair that if Goldberg and Savage have a match tonight and one of them comes out Champion, that the Undertaker has a match under his belt tonight also. So Piper books the Undertaker against the man that ran away from the Macho Man’s attack last week, Shawn Michaels to a huge pop from the fans!

Match #2
Kurt Angle vs. The British Bulldog Davey-Boy Smith

Angle walks out and cuts another one of his irritating promos about the 3I’s and how it makes him superior to all other wrestlers in the WCWF. He reminds everyone that he won the Gold Medal, and he did so with this philosophy. The crowd boo the man as he berates them for being slobs and says that maybe one day if they follow his 3I’s, Integrity, Intelligence and Intensity, that they too could make something of themselves, instead of absolute losers.

Angle is interrupted by the Bulldog’s as he makes his way down to the ring. As he does, a small screen in screen appears and he talks about why he challenged Scott Steiner last week. He states that after losing to Shawn Michaels at the ppv he needs a big win to get him a title shot. And who better to take on the last challenger to Goldberg’s title, Big Poppa Pump. He says he knows he can beat Steiner and then he knows he can beat Goldberg and finally become Champion of the World.

The match is an absolute clinic, as these two technicians counter each others moves in an amazing display of mat grappling. But Angle has forgotten just how powerful the British Bulldog is. Bulldog had suckered Angle inot a wrestling match and then started to unleash his power. A gorilla press slam later and Angle is frustrated and looks for cover on the outside. Bulldog goes out after him, but Angle slips back in, and when Davey follows him, the rookie hits him a veteran like move and blasts him with a double sledge.

He then rolls him up for a 2 count, but then starts a series of big time suplexes. Each one dropping Davey on his back and neck. The Bulldog is in trouble as Kurt looks for the Olympic Slam. But Davey-Boy powers out, hits some clotheslines of his own and then looks for the Powerslam.

But Kurt slithers out of it and then hits a chopblock. Smith grabs the back of his knee as Angle goes after it with a cannonball, and then a knee bar submission. The fasn are behind Bulldog and kicks Kurt off him to escape the painful hold. Davey-Boy limps to his feet but Angle’s amazing quickness, shoots on him and brings him down again, and looks for a Boston Crab. Angle looks to have the match won, but Davey just grabs the bottom rope, and the referee separates the two men.

Angle zeroes in for the kill and stomps away on the knee and the leg of Smith, but Bulldog again uses his power and pushes Angle off and through the ropes! The ref goes to check on Angle, but from out of the crowd, Scott Steiner jumps over the guard rail, jumps into the ring and belly to belly suplexes Bulldog!!!

As Steiner scurries away, Angle sees what happened and pushes the ref away and then locks in a knee bar. Davey Boy cries out in pain but refuses to tap. To even things up though, Ken Shamrock walks down. Angle defeated Ken last week by holding the tights, and he is looking to settle the score with Angle. Ken scares off Steiner, who runs off through the fans from where he came. Shamrock then looks up at Bulldog and spurs him, to not give up.

Angle looks down at “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” and then releases the knee bar. He smirks at Ken and quickly transitions to an Ankle Lock submission… ken Shamrock’s finisher! He locks it in and Smith fights and fights as Angle’s smirk has turned into a full blown smile at Shamrock. He taunts him with it as Smith has no choice but to tap out!

Winner: Kurt Angle
8:19

The bell sounds and Ken quickly jumps into the ring. The ref steps in between the two men, giving Kurt just enough time to dive out to the floor. He raises his arm in victory and then demands the ref come and raise it also. Shamrock kicks the bottom rope as he watches as Kurt “wooos” while the crowd boos.

Back from commercial and Mene Gene is with the Stinger and the Hitman. Gene asks about tonight’s tag between them and Big Van Vader and the Great Muta. Hart says last week Muta sprayed him in the eyes with that green spew. This week he’s going to hit him so hard in the gut it will be real spew he’ll be cough up. Sting says he’s gone up against these two monsters before, and they would have to be the toughest and sadistic men he has ever faced. But tonight, with the Hitman by his side, the Stinger is going to go out there and take them down…”Yeeeoooow, it’s Showtime Folks!”

Match #3
Sting and Bret Hart vs. Big Van Vader and the Great Muta

The atmosphere is electric for this one. The two superheroes vs. The two super villains in a almost a rematch of last week’s mega main event. Hart doesn’t like the fact that he was beaten last week, while Muta methodically paces back and forth almost in a trance awaiting the bell.

Hart wants Muta tonight and the Hitman sets his sights with a big tie up, and then a headlock to get things started. But Muta explosively reverses it, and gets in a hammerlock. Has Hart underestimated Muta’s technical skills perhaps?

Hart though reverses it for a hammerlock of his own, only for Muta to again escape and push Hart into the ropes and explode with a big time drop kick to the face! Boom! Down goes Hart as Muta hops to one knee and licks his lips. Hart rolls to the corner, unsure of how to attack Muta. The painted monster from the Orient silently watches Hart’s movements.

Hart gets to his feet slowly circles his opponent and looks again to move in. They tie up again, and again Muta swirls around to the back of the man with a hammerlock but this time pushes him straight into a huge forearm shot of Vader! Hart is rocked and staggers back into a flash roll up by Muta! 1..2.. Hart kicks out! He sprinsg away to get some distance but can’t get to his feet in time and eats a buzzsaw kick to the jaw!!! 1..2... Kick out!

Hart rolls ot of the ring but Muta comes out after him and sends his ribs into the guard rail. Sting looks to help but the ref gets him back. He orders Muta to bring it back inot the ring, and Muta seems oblivious to it as he rams the ribs again ino the rail and then hits a big stiff almost punt kick to the same ribs. Hart drops in a heap as Muta rolls him in and pins him again..1..2.. Sting this time breaks up the count. The ref gets in his face as he argues the se of the outside environment. Muta seemingly unphased by it all simply gets up and tags in the 450 pound Rocky Mountain Monster.

Vader immediately stomps Hart in the face and then hits a big time splash on the ribs! 1..2... Hart kciks out but only just, he is holding those ribs and he can’t seem to breathe properly. Grabbing Hart by his long wet hair he pulls him up effortlessly powerslams him to the mat. 1..2.. Hart kicks ot again, coughing and spluttering and reaching out for the Stinger who looks like he is ready to explode if he doesn’t get in there soon. Vader trash talks Sting as he sets the pace and starts peppering Hart with kicks to the face and back. He picks him up again, but this time the powerslam sends Hart all the way across the other side of the ring!

Hart’s legs even hit the turnbuckles as he crashes down. Hart bows up and rolls away from his opponent. Vader gets closer and Hart rolls again. His ring awareness is uncanny and he is able to get to his feet and is now only a metre from Sting. Vader looks to cut the ring off, and Muta from behind takes a swipe at him from the apron. It doesn’t connect but is enough to distract Hart and Vader pounces with a huge avalanche shoulder block. Hart is engulfed by the big man and drops like a stone.

Sting has had enough and he comes in and pushes him, the ref gets in between and Vader goes after Sting. The two men push and shove as the ref tries to calm the situation, but right in front of everyone, Muta has snuck into the ring and just drops a snap leg drop across the back of Hart’s head! The ref looks on in disbelief as Muta just gets back on the apron as if nothing happened. The ref yells at him but Muta just stares off in the distance.

Sting is forced back to his corner, and Vader laughs as he picks up this (to him) so called legendary wrestler. He scoffs and looks to bash Hart’s face in, but the Hitman school boys the giant man!!! 1...2... Vader kicks out, but can’t believe it as Sting is tagged and he flies over the top rope and releases all his pent up energy! Lefts and rights, chops and kicks into the body of Vader forcing him into the corner. A dazed Vader tries to cover up as the fans go crazy for Sting stomping away on Vader’s knee, trying to chop him down like a big red wood!

Vader grabs his knee and tries to stand up straight, bt as he does he is blasted by the Stinger Splash! A tonne of bricks hits him in the face and sternum, and then just when he is able to see where the hell it came from, Sting smashes him again with the signature move! Vader drops like a heap on the mat and Sting covers him..1...2.. Vader kicks out with still a lot of power left in him.

Sting though will not be outsmarted and runs over and smashes Muta in the face sending him off the apron! Sting then uses that momentum to hit a big splash of his own on Vader..1..2.. Vader kicks out again, but this time, he is able to just get the shoulder up. Sting has obviously done some damage. Sting allows Vader to use his own power ot get back up and then knocks him down with multiple running clotheslines. He crows to the fans “Yeahoooooow!” and they call back to him to give him that extra power he needs and when Vader gets up, in an amazing show of strength body slams the monster!

The fans are on their feet as Sting looks for the Deathlock, but Muta comes in, livid about the shot, and he chops away on the taps of Sting. The ref tries to get him out of the ring, but Muta hits a kick in the gut and then rakes the eyes blinding the Stinger. Sting cries out in pain as he grabs his face as Muta is pushed back to his corner by the ref. Hart tags in to cover his partner and as Vader slowly gets up hits him with a big piledriver! He locks in the Sharpshooter and then tries to turn him, but the big man’s weight holds him on his back. Hart uses everything his got to budge him as he tries to flip the big man. But Vader kicks him off and then gets to his feet. Hart lays in some punches but Vader shakes them off and sends Hart into the ropes, but Hart comes off them with a dropkick!

Vader spills out to the floor and Hart attacks with a suicide dive through the middle rope sending Vader’s spine crashing into the guardrail. Hart gets back on the apron and looks to come down on Vader again, but Muta kicks him in the side of the head! Hart drops off the apron and lands hard on the floor. Vader knows he has to act and picks up Hart and whips him with all his power into the far rail! He hits with so much force the rail moves into the audience and Hart bounces off with a thud. Hart is hurt, and Vader stalks him on the outside as the ref screams for the two men to get back into the ring. Hart crawls to escape the monster. Vader smiles, rips off his mask and turns the corner of the ring, only to be met with a missile dropkick from the Stinger off the apron!

Vader himself now crashes into the rail, as Sting rolls Hart in. He’s still holding his left eye, but it doesn’t let him stop him from again Stinger Splashing Vader, this time on the guardrail! Vader is hurt now and Sting gives him a few hard shots and rolls him into the ring.

Sting tags in and climbs the turnbuckle and delivers another high cross body..1...2.. Muta intervenes and breaks the count. Sting gets up and the two exchange blows! Muta whips Sting into the ropes and drops the head, but Sting is ready and kicks him in the face, and then a clothesline. Sting grabs Muta and wants to throw him over the top rope, but the Japanese Warrior reverses the whip and then hits a standing hurricanrana sending Sting to the outside instead! Hart is now up and races in hitting big shots on Muta and forces him into the corner. Muta elbows him in the face and then climbs the buckles and deliver a high risk, but hart crotches him on the top and then climbs up to meet him.

Superplex!!!!!

Cover.. but the ref wont count as Vader is the legal man. Vader gets to his feet and Hart grabs Muta, but he spits the green mist.... only for Hart to duck and catch Vader in the eyes! Hart then throws Muta out of the ring, and Sting assists by pulling the top rope down. Hart schoolboys Vader ..1...2..3!

Winners: Sting and Bret Hart
19:17

Sting gets back in the ring and the ref raises their hands, the fans go crazy as they have just seen a classic and the fan favourites won the day! The pop is enormous as the fans cheer their heroes for what seems an age.

WCWF returns from commercial to have Mean Gene with Rey Mysterio Jr. Rey says that last week he took the Cruiserweight Champion, the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger to his limit. He says it was an honour and a privilege to just be in the ring with him. But Rey says he came “this” close to beating him. He wants to put out the challenge to Liger-San and ask for a World Cruiserweight Championship match at Starrcade. Rey thanks Gene for this time and Gene sends it back to ringside where tonight’s big matches continues.

Match #4
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker

Michaels has faced Taker many times in the WWF so it is visibly obvious to the fans during his entrance that he isn’t happy about Piper booking this match. He gets in the ring and demands a microphone. He tells the guys in the truck to just hold off on playing the Undertaker’s music for a second because he’s got something to say. Michaels pauses before saying that he is extremely pissed off about this match tonight. He says he doesn’t go sticking his nose in other people’s business and last week when Randy Savage attacked Stone Cold, he knew he had to leave the ring because it was none of his business. He berates Piper’s decision for putting him a match with Taker and demands that if he beats the Deadman tonight, he gets his title shot at Starrcade, otherwise, there is no match. Screw the fans and screw Roddy Piper.

The bell tolls and the slow march of the Undertaker begins. The arena goes dark and mist and flames pour out of the entrance ramp as the almost seven feet tall monster approaches the ring. Taker gets to the steel steps and raises his hands as the lights come on to find HBK pretending to yawn in the corner as he uses the top rope as a hammock. Taker lifts his hat to reveal his white eyes as the referee calls for the two men to get in the middle.

But Michaels still has a mic and asks Taker one time, “Yes or No?” Taker slowly puts out his hand for the mic, and Michaels disrespectfully tosses it to him. The Undertaker pauses, staring at Michaels and contemplating his answer. He lifts the mic to his mouth and says “YES”. Michaels smiles and nods his head in satisfaction. He spits out his chewing gum and begins taking off his chaps and chain mail vest when BOOM! He is smashed in the face with a big boot from the Deadman! Taker rips off his leather trench coat and brings Michaels to his feet by his hair and body slams him! Michaels grabs his back in pain as Taker stes himself and goozles Michaels. Chokeslam! No! Michaels slips out of it and dives to the safety of the arena floor.

Shawn takes a breather while Taker paces inside the ring. Michaels knows what at stake here now, a shot at the World title at one of the biggest pay per views of all time. Shawn makes the ref get Taker back so he can re-enter the ring. The ref tells them to get it on and HBK shoots in with a chop. Taker misses a punch and gets chopped again. Another punch misses and Shawn chops away again. Shawn gets Taker to the corner and elbows away, then throws a pretty sick chop. Taker slings Shawn into the corner and unleashes a punching combination with his “soup bones” and as the ref tells him off he intimidates the ref, but as he turns back to Shawn, he gets a boot to the face.

Shawn explodes out of the corner but is hit with a big boot and Taker hits an elbow drop for a one count. Taker then whips Shawn into a different corner with such force that Shawn crashes spine first and falls to the mat hard! The Undertaker seems to be targeting the infamous damaged back of the Heart Break Kid. Taker grabs Michaels and goes for “Old-School”, he comes off the ropes and hammers down upon Michaels arm and shoulder!

Shawn hits the mat hard again and grabs at his arm as if it has been dislocated. The Undertaker brings Shawn to his feet again by his hair and but Shawn pushes him off and hits another chop and then an atomic drop. Shawn then explodes off the ropes with a flying forearm shot! Kip up! He steps into the corner and starts tuning up the band.

Taker stands up straight and Sahwn shoots in, but Taker is quick and goozles him again for the chokeslam! 1..2.. Shawn kicks out! Both men get to their feet but Shawn dropkicks Taker’s knee! Taker drops to the mat in pain and Shawn starts stomping away at it. He then locks in a figure four and has Taker in the centre of the ring. Taker has too much reach though and is able to punch his way out of it, but his leg now looks injured and Shawn dropkicks it again. Shawn then hits the ropes and gives a chop block! The Undertaker is in pain and Shawn takes the time to play to the fans and trash talk the Deadman.

Shawn climbs the turnbuckles and Boom! Drops the flying elbow! Shawn again plays to the fans and gives the sign of the title as he sets again for Sweet Chin Music. Taker sits up and suddenly turns his head in the seated position to se Michaels tuning up the band. This puts the fear of God into Michaels and he puts up his hands as if to say mercy. Taker hobbles to his feet, his leg still hurting and Michaels seizes the opportunity to hit SCM, but Taker moves out of the way, whips him to the corner and a few body-boxer splashes, then a snake eyes and a running big boot! Taker is limping but drops the leaping leg drop! 1..2…

Shawn kicks out and rolls away as is rocked by the heavy shots from the bigger man. Both men are up and Shawn again chops away at taker’s chest, but as it has no effect, he stomps at taker’s knee which pisses the Deadman off. He goozles him and looks for another chokeslam, but HBK is in the ropes and so Taker just sends him over the top rope to the floor by the throat! Shawn hits the apron on the way down and desperately tries to get back on his feet, but when he does he is hit by the Undertaker launching himself over the top rope in a massive suicide dive!!!!

Both men are down on the outside as the ref starts the ten count. The fans are going crazy as both men fight to get back into the ring and beat the count. Grabbing the ropes they pull themselves in both rolling in at nine to a big pop from the fans. Both very dazed and exhausted competitors exchange punches, but of course Taker’s hit hard and Michaels goes flying to the mat. Taker limps after him and Shawn from his back boots Taker’s knee and then school boys him! 1..2.. Taker kicks out but is then caught in another figure four leglock!

Taker is now in pain and several times his shoulder’s are down for 2 counts. He uses everything he has left and reaches for the ropes and finally gets the break. Shawn stomps away on the knee as the ref warns him. Taker pulls himself up by the ropes and Shawn looks to take his head off with a superkick, but Taker has had enough and punches him in the face first. He then whips Shawn in the corner and hits the running splash! Shawn is on dreamstreet as he staggers out of the corner, and is then hit with a big side walk slam..1…2.. Kickout!

Taker then slashes his throat with is thumb and calls for the Tombstone. But HBK is able to reverse it inot a big time DDT! 1..2…kickout!

The fans are on their feet again, as Michaels slowly gets up and again looks to tune up the band! Taker gets up and all he can do is watch as he is blasted in the head by Sweet Chin Music!
1…2… Rope break! Taker is too close to the ropes and Shawn drops to his back exhausted and utterly frustrated. Shawn baseball slide dropkicks Taker out to the floor and then orders the ref to count him out. The ref begins as Taker uses the guardrail to get himself to his feet. He staggers up as the ref’s count hits six. Shawn looks down at him and seemingly begging him not to make the count. The Deadman now looks like he is ready to kill somebody and gets up on the apron and re-enters the ring at nine. Michaels begs off as Taker stares him down. Michaels though sees the limp and goes for it, but Taker steps away and boots Michaels in the face while he is still on his knees! Taker grabs HBK and kicks him in the gut, he comes off the ropes and hits his floating DDT! 1..2… Kickout! Taker sticks out his tongue, rolls his eyes into the back of his head and delivers the devastating Tombstone! 1..2…3

Winner: The Undertaker
16:32

The Undertaker gets to his feet and walks out of the ring. He looks as if he lost the match and seems very angry with himself as Michaels may have injured him leading up to Starrcade. The fans applaud both men as he walks back up the ramp as the commentary team prepare us for the main event, the returning legendary Macho Man Randy Savage takes on the WCWF Heavyweight Wrestling Champion of the World.

Main Event
Goldberg vs. Macho Man Randy Savage

The entrances for both men are amazing as the fans once again see the Macho an walk the aisle. He has bulked up considerably since last they had seen him in the ring, and could possibly be a physical match up for the powerful Champion. Goldebrg walks through fire and breathes smoke as pyro goes off as he roars to the ring. The sold out crowd are deafening as they are about to witness a World title match!

They get formal introductions from Michael Buffer and then the bell rings. The two men are face to face and talk some smack. They tie up and Goldberg wins the power match up a few times and Savage decides to rethink that strategy. Savage suckers the Champ back into the lock up and then gets an arm drag and Goldberg is pissed at being outsmarted. Goldberg tries to plow through him and they lock up! They stay on it and fall through the ropes. The ref breaks them up. “GOLDBERG” chants from the crowd are thunderous as the intensity and crowd heat is amazing. Goldberg avoids a trip with a backflip but then Savage hits a clothesline. Goldberg is pissed and goes back to shots with lefts and rights and then a knee lifts. Goldberg then follows that up with a fireman's carry takeover and goes to the armbar but the veteran grabs the ropes. Savage comes back with a jawbreaker and then comes off the ropes with a big shoulder tackle! Berg hits the mat but pops right back up and when Savage coems off the ropes again, he gets knocked on his back by a big time clothesline! Macho rolls to the floor to escape the Champ. Goldberg wisely stays in the ring and waits for Savage to get back in. Goldberg and Savage lock up again , but as Goldberg goes to the hammerlock, Savage rolls through and counters with a drop toe hold to his own. Savage grabs a headlock and Goldberg shoves him off.

Savage tries a shoulder block but Goldberg stands stiff and sends the legend flying out of the ring! Macho kicks the guard rail and slaps the apron in frustration as he points at Goldberg as if he’s saying he’s a deadman. Goldberg simply sniffs and stays on his toes once again waiting for the Macho Man. Savage plays to the crowd, they boo him as Goldberg roars and gets the cheers from the fans. Savage moves in and looks for another lock up, but lands a sucker punch to the jaw. Goldberg shakes it off, but Randy moves in with more big right hands. Goldberg is rocked by the powerful blows. As Savage whips Goldberg chest first into the turnbuckle and then a jumping knee strike to the back of the skull. Goldberg drops to the mat grabbing the back of his head. Savage then drops elbows and then grabs a front face lock. He uses his leverage to move Goldberg’s head in such a way that the ref can’t see, and he digs his fingers into the Champs’ eyes and mouth. He then pulls Goldberg to his feet in the same position and hist a spinning neckbreaker! 1…2… Goldberg powers out at 2! Savage is thrown away from him, but comes down on Goldberg’s head again with a double axehandle! Savage then hits a vertical suplex, but when he plays to the fans Goldberg pops right back up!

Goldberg avoids a right hand and takes him down with a T-Bone suplex. Goldberg hits a side slam for a 2 count! Goldberg rolls Savage over and gets an armbar. But Savage quickly gets his feet on the ropes. His ring awareness is as good as ever and when he gets to his feet he hits a kick to the gut and then a piledriver!! 1..2..
Goldberg kicks out!

Randy grabs Goldberg, but the Champ pushes him off and hits a superkick sending Savage into the corner. Goldberg goes for the Spear but Randy moves at the last second and Goldberg hits the middle turnbuckle full force! Goldberg grabs his shoulder in pain and Randy takes advantage with a hammerlock on the shoulder and then he wails away with big shots he then sends Goldberg into the adjacent corner shoulder first to ensure it is injured! Goldberg bounces out roaring in pain as Savage hits a clothesline! 1..2… Kickout! Goldberg had to kickout as he couldn’t roll the shoulder.

Savage drops fists into Goldberg’s face and then looks for his own armbar on the Champ. Goldberg rolls through and tries to use his power to push him off. Goldberg tries a hip toss counter with the bad arm but the Macho Man counters with a DDT! 1..2… Kickout again! The fans are going crazy as the Champ escapes as Macho climbs the turnbuckles and hits the Sky Elbow!!!!

Boom!!!

Goldberg has got to his feet and speared Savage in mid air! Both men go down and Goldberg can’t make the cover as he did it with his bad shoulder and it looks like it is now completely dislocated. The ref starts the count as both men roll around on the mat in pain. Goldberg gets to his feet and tries the Jackhammer but can't get Randy up with the bad arm. Goldberg pulls away and falls into the corner. Savage gets to his feet and rolls out to the floor and grabs the World title. The ref tries to take the foreign object off him but he punches the ref in the face and looks to smash the Champ in the skull when… the Glass Breaks and the fans go batshit crazy as down runs Stone Cold!!! He slides in under the bottom rope and hits the Lou Thez Press and hits piston fire shots! The ref staggers to the corner and calls for the bell...

Winner: via DQ Goldberg
15:36

Austin bad mouths Savage and then hits a clothesline dumping Randy to the floor. The fans are going nuts as Austin follows after him and folds up a steel chair. Savage sees it and as exhausted as he is and surprised at seeing Austin already back, he jumped into the fans and ran off as Austin just missed. Austin gives Savage the double finger as Macho backs away through the fans.

In the ring, Goldberg’s arm hangs by his side as he gets to his feet and sees the big gold belt sitting in the middle of the ring. He reaches for it, only for a limping Undertaker to get into the ring and hit him with a big boot to the face! Undertaker picks up the belt and raises it in the air with his boot on Berg’s chest as WCWF fades to black….

LSN's review of WCWF: Episode 2

---I really love this concept you've come up with. While I think it would take two, maybe three, weekly shows to truly make this work in having the same faces on the show week in and out, I would love to see what would have happened had all three companies merged together. Awesome concept, I'm eager to see where it heads.

--- Good promos from both Savage and from Goldberg. Goldberg was best when he did less talking, and you let his mannerisms and body language speak for themselves far greater then his words. I like Savage as a heel, he was one of the best ever in the business. Savage being paranoid about Austin taking his spot as "The baddest Man in the Business" sounds about right. Nice way of setting up the main event.

--- You're still the best match writer in the Book This section, at least in my opinion. Your attention to detail and exceptional verbage while describing the action makes it so easy to picture what's going on in my head with regards to the matches. Everyone here is great, but you won the Book This! tournament for a reason.

---That shows clearly in the RVD/Sabu vs The Hardy Boys match. I love RVD the heel, and you nailed his mannerisms in the ring while keeping the in-ring action fresh. The only thing I couldn't follow about this match(Granted, I didn't review last week), is whether this a No-DQ match, or simply referee incompetance. Sabu(shockingly ) brought a table into the ring, and Saturn and Raven interfered in the match. I found this odd unless this was No-DQ. The beatdown following made sense after the Hardy's defeated Raven and Saturn the previous week, but why was it RVD's business, other then being a heel?

---I love Roddy Piper as Commish/GM. Great choice. His explanations made sense as well with regards to the Title match later in the night, as it's not denying Taker his shot. It makes me wonder regarding Austin, and if he'll be apart of the picture as well. Speculating, I'll say Goldberg wins with an assist from Austin, and they branch off into separate feuds(Savage/Austin, Goldberg/Taker). That sounds logical.

--- I'm not so much of a fan of two matches in a row being won due to interference from outside parties. I understand you're setting up feuds and the like, but I would groan audibly if I was watching and the first two matches I saw involved outside interference. It's hard when you're starting up new to start feuds from nowhere, and to that end, you're succeeding. Angle and Davey Boy was another match I enjoyed reading, and was well-written. Two more feuds appear to be emerging from this, so with match quality and development of feuds, this segment/match is a winner.

---I like the pairing of Sting and Hart, and am very much looking forward to their match with Vader and Muta. Good face promo from Hart and Sting, first putting over their opponents, then discussing how they'll topple them. If only every wrestling promo was this way, rather then wrestlers belitting their opponents, as if they're beneath them, which makes victory or loss seem worth so much less. Well done.

---Fantastic 20 minute tag match between Muta/Vader and Sting/Hart. You built the match so well from start to finish, and I absolutely loved the ending. Muta's mist coming back to cost them the match was great psychology following the events of last week. Good stuff. (Just don't ask me what I would have thought had the mist worked! :p)

--- Simple but effective promo from Rey-Rey. I wouldn't object to reading a match between the two. Interesting that their first encounter took place at Starrcade 1996, and we've got a challenge for Starrcade!

---I liked HBK's promo to set up the match between he and Undertaker. It makes sense that HBK would demand Taker's spot, as otherwise he would have nothing to gain by the match. I'm all about there being a purpose to just about every match on television or otherwise, so I liked this in that regard. Undertaker was the right one to go over, and continue to look strong going into his match with Goldberg. Good psychology in the match, and a strong follow-up with Taker selling frustration over the possibly injured knee.

---The interference from Austin was expected, but made perfect sense here. I was reading through the match, reading the moves, waiting for Austin to
interrupt. I figured he'ld come through the crowd when the referee was downed and knock Savage out, but this works just as well. However, does this set up a rematch for Savage for the title, since he won by DQ? It would stand to reason so, and with Undertaker looming, there isn't alot of time to build. That's why it was good that Undertaker, who I had forgotten about, made a preemptive strike to send a message to Goldberg. Let the build begin.

---I'm not a fan of three of the five matches here all ending in DQ, but I understand the purpose of it. It's tough when you're starting out and trying to build new feuds. That being said, the matches were outstanding, and the storylines are simple enough. You have good guys vs. bad, and you've created reasons to see good guys beat the bad. I also like the dynamic here, with the meshing of the three companies. A very good second episode all-in-all, with more action, less mic work. My kind of show. A-.

Sorry it took me so long on this, GS. Some unexpected things came up over the weekend. Anyways:

LSN's review of

The year is 199X and in an alternate reality, the wrestling business as we knew it was completely transformed. Forged from the fires of the Monday Night Wars, the WCWF was created to showcase the best against the best where dream matches became reality. Starrcade is soon upon us as wrestling fas around the world eagerly await the next instalment of ….

WCWF

The pyro goes off as the commentary team of Jim Ross and Bobby “The Brain’ Heenan welcome us all to another episode of WCWF. They say that tonight they have a huge main event for everyone tonight with a fatal four way match, Sting vs. Big Van Vader vs. Bret Hart vs. The Great Muta!

Glass shatters, the fans explode and out stomps the Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin. He steps into the ring and steps up on all four corners of the ring as thousands of camera flashes light up the arena as the last ever WWF Champion raises his hands in the air. The capacity crowd chant his name as he paces around the ring wearing jeans and his trademark vest.

Austin yells into the mic that two weeks ago the Macho Man Randy Savage returned to wrestling, to the biggest company in the world the World Championship Wrestling Federation and wanted to re-establish himself by attacking good old Stone Cold. He cuts himself off by saying “EH EH” and that it aint gonna happen. He calls Macho a piece of trash and says Savage aint big enough or tough enough to take on Stone Cold, because he’ll whip his ass. Austin then says that Piper has made it official and at Starrcade it will be the Macho Man vs. Stone Cold and he is going to stomp a mudhole in Savage and walk it dry, because that’s the bottom line because Stone Cold said …

“What up Mach” plays over the speakers as out walks the self proclaimed baddest man in the history of the wrestling business, Randy Savage. Savage has interrupted Austin, and the Rattlesnake is not amused. He sees Savage and is about to jump out of the ring and strike when Savage says cut my music. He tells Austin that the Madness is runnin’ wild and Austin is in his crosshairs. He says that Austin thinking he is the wild man of wrestling makes him sick and he is going to destroy Austin at Starrcade.

Austin has had enough and he rolls out of the ring and starts running up the ramp as the roof almost blows off the building as the two mega stars of wrestling brawl on the stage. They start throwing lefts and rights a top of the stage as out of the entrance ramp walks Roddy Piper and a sea of security. But Rowdy holds them back as there is nothing Piper likes more than a good old fashioned fight. He has a huge smile on his face as the two former World Champions blast each other with stiff shots. But then they both come dangerously close to falling off the edge and so Piper begrudgingly gets security to break it up.

It’s a huge pull a part brawl for minutes as Piper has to get in the middle of them and grab a mic. He says as much as it pains him to say this, he is the Commissioner, and that he couldn’t let one of the biggest matches at Starrcade get flushed down the toilet by both men getting injured. So tonight he is ejecting Savage from the building as Austin has a match tonight. As security leads both men to the back, Savage has a swipe at Piper, as “no one tells him what to do.” Piper does his best to ignore him and gets the show under way.

Match #1
The British Bulldog and Ken Shamrock vs. Kurt Angle and Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner

We get a replay of the last few weeks where Angle defeated Shamrock with the use of the tights, and then Bulldog getting in Steiner’s business. Then Angle defeating the Bulldog due to Steiner’s interference.

Angle and Shamrock start things off, but Angle tags in Steiner straight away and scampers out of the ring and to the floor. Steiner is very annoyed, so when he comes in Davey-boy demands the tag and Shamrock gives it to him. Steiner and Smith lock up, while Shamrock drops to the floor and goes after Angle.

Steiner and Smith roll around the ropes trying to see who is stronger, but break as it’s a stalemate. Angle is chased around the ring as the ref is trying to stop them, Angle runs in and in the distraction Steiner punt kicks Smith in the crotch! Shamrock comes in and the ref after that but is Steinerlined! Big Poppa then pins Smith and gets two and a half! Steiner starts stomping on the Bulldog as the ref gets Shamrock to the apron.

Quick tags and Steiner and Angle start stretching Davey-Boy and gets many two counts. Angle tags in and to taunt Shamrock o the apron he goes for the Ankle Lock. Shamrock is incensed; he tries to get in the ring. The ref holds him back, but Angle continues the taunts and Ken has had enough. He shoves the ref with such force he flies into the turnbuckles. His spine connects and he falls to the mat. Shamrock unloads on Angle, Steiner comes in and he eats a belly to belly. Shamrock goes back to attacking Angle, but the bell rings as his temper has cost him the match.

Winners: Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner via DQ
7:03

Angle’s music plays, the announcement is made and Shamrock looks around for the ref. He realises what he has done as he sees Angle hurting but celebrating on the outside. Shamrock goes after Angle but is smashed in the back of the head from behind by a Steiner forearm shot. Shamrock goes down as Steiner trash talks the fans as Angle walks to the back victorious and very happy with himself.

Backstage Roddy Piper is with Mean Gene and says that the Macho Man is barred from the building tonight in order for the show to continue without problems. Mean Gene asks him who Stone Cold’s opponent will be tonight. Piper says he likes a good fight, so does Stone Cold. He wasn’t impressed that Austin got involved in the main event title match last week, and with Savage out of the building, the WCWF fans can now get an ending to the match the Macho man ruined from two weeks ago, when Austin goes one on one with Shawn Michaels!

Match #2
Dean Malenko vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.

Last week Rey challenged the Cruiserweight Champion, the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger to a title match at Starrcade. Rey took to the Champ to the limit and almost picked up the victory two weeks earlier. Liger has yet to respond, but during the week Dean Malenko, the Ice Man believed he should be the one to step up at Starrcade to face the Champion. Tonight these two men face off for bragging rights in an attempt to impress the Champion.

Rey looks to use his speed but Malenko captures him and grounds him. He begins to stretch the Luchador with his various holds and submissions. Constant pin attempts tire Rey out as he is desperately trying to escape the clutches of the man with a 1000 holds.

Malenko goes for High Impact to finish Rey, and goes for a powerbomb, but Rey counters with a ‘Rana, driving Dean’s head into the mat. Dropkick and then a West Coast pop for a two count. Malenko takes control back with a clothesline and looks for the Texas Cloverleaf, but Rey rolls Dean up in a small package getting two!

Rey hits the ropes and dropkicks Dean’s knee taking his legs out from under him, and then jumps off the middle rope with a leg drop for a two count! Dean kicks Rey in the gut and then hits a brainbuster! 1…2… Kickout!

Malenko is shocked and gets in the ref’s face, this costs him as he is dropkicked in the back and lands on the ropes. Rey hits a what will be known as a 619 and then follows it up with a seated Senton.1..2.. Malenko slips out the back shakes it off and hits a Euro uppercut. Rey falls into the corner and Malenko starts stomping away viciously. He shakes his head again to clear the cobwebs and moves in but gets kicked in the face. Rey flips up to the top rope and comes off with a big Hurricanrana with a pin 1..2..3!

Winner: Rey Mysterio Jr.
9:37

Malenko can’t kick out in time and rolls out of the ring livid. Rey jumps up on the turnbuckles and celebrates with the crowd as hey cheer him. His music though is interrupted by Jushin Thunder Liger’s as out walks the Champ. Liger applauds Rey and points to him as he gets into the ring. He stands face to face with Rey and raises his hand to another pop from the fans. He then takes off his belt with his left hand and offers his right hand to Rey. Mysterio with excitement shakes it, as Liger raises the belt and Rey’s hand again and it looks like we’ve got our answer! Liger vs. Mysterio for the Cruiserweight Championship at Starrcade!

Backstage with Mean Gene, is the Rattlesnake, Steve Austin. He says that tonight he takes on Shawn Michaels. One of the best in the world, double tough, has a mean streak and can go high risk when he wants. Sounds just like the Macho Man. He sarcastically thanks Piper for the match tonight and says it will be the perfect tune up match for him when he faces Savage at Starrcade. He then looks into the camera with a very serious look and talks to Shawn directly… “Michaels, wrong place wrong time son. Austin 3:16 says he ‘s gonna whoop your ass.”

Match #3
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels

Austin rips off his vest ready to take on HBK when just like last week Michaels comes out with a microphone. Shawn Michaels is not too happy about competing against Austin tonight. He says last week he took on the Undertaker, but made sure the #1 Contender ship was on the line. This week there is no real reason for him to grace this moronic crowd with his in ring skills. He says that Shawn Michaels wants a title shot, and refuses to risk injury before he gets what he rightfully deserves. Michaels is now up on the ring apron talking to not just Austin, but the fans and Piper as well.

He says that Austin is only going to see him as Randy Savage and instead of wrestle a match, he is probably going to purposely try to injure him. He tells Piper that this match isn’t happening and drops down off the apron and starts to walk off. But then “Walk” blasts through the speakers and out of the entrance tunnel smiling is Rob van Dam and his tag partner Sabu.

He sarcastically says he is surprised that the prima-donna Michaels is again out here crying and whining about doing something he is actually here to do and that’s wrestle. Rob says if he won’t fight Austin, maybe he’ll tag with Austin right now and take on him and Sabu. Michaels looks RVD and Sabu up and down and asks them who the hell do they think they are talking to him like that. He is the Showstopper! Rob replies that he is the Whole F’n Show, that’s who he is. And that Michaels is an antique compared to Mr Monday Night.. Rob. Van. Dam. (with the thumbs). Michaels looks over at Austin and says he wants to kick these pissants’ teeth down their throats. Austin replies he just wants to whoop ass and it don’t matter who it is. The match is seemingly made and we go to commercial.

Match #3
Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels vs. Rob Van Dam and Sabu

And we are back live and Michaels has RVD in a head lock. Rob pushes him off Michaels comes off the ropes, but Rob does the splits on the mat and Shawn runs over him, Rob springs to his feet and in one motion catches Shawn with a leaping roundhouse to the jaw! Michaels hits the mat holding his face as Rob does the thumbs, Shawn looks up at him with a look of “who is this guy?!” on his face.

Shawn crawls his way back up to his feet as they exchange again. Rob sweeps the leg and then spins in mid air with a leg drop! Micheals kicks out at 2 but is caught immediately with a Monkey Flip sending him all the way into his own corner! He crashes into the turnbuckles! Austin, not too concerned with his partner’s well being tags in and comes in after van Dam, but Sabu gets the blind tag and as Austin throws a clothesline , Rob ducks and Sabu flies over the top rope with a leg lariat knocking down the Rattlesnake!

Sabu then takes over, slams Austin to the mat, and does a triple rope moonsault for a two count! Sabu baseball slides the head of Austin and then sees RVD is perched on the top rope. He tags his partner and Rob flies through the air to hit his 5 Star Frogsplash…

BOOM!

Sweet Chin Music to Rob in mid air from Michaels!!!!

The ref gets HBK out of the ring as Austin crawls and puts an arm over Rob. 1..2.. Sabu breaks it up with a leg drop across the back of Austin’s head! Michaels comes in and Sabu and him exchange punches. Austin gets to his feet as Rob crawls on the mat looking for help. Austin pulls him to his feet and goes for a Stunner, but Rob catches the kick and reverses it into a spinning heel kick! Austin hits the mat and Rob hits Rolling Thunder! 1..2.. Michaels breaks it up but is taken over the top rope by Sabu with a Clothesline. Sabu then leaps over the top knocking down Michaels on the outside.

Austin gets back to his feet but Rob jumps off the middle rope with a sabot kick, and then hits a Split Legged Moonsault, but Austin gets the knees up. Rob bounces off them and is caught with a big clothesline! Austin then starts to stomp him. Sabu comes back in and jumps off the ropes, but is caught with a punch to the gut. Austin gives him the finger before hitting the Stunner!

1..2..

RVD with the save this time, but Michaels is back in and he hits an elbow drop from the top rope on everyone! Sabu on the bottom, Austin in the middle and Rob on the top! All three men, dazed, seem to get to their feet at the same time, and Michaels seems conflicted on who to blast with his superkick.

Austin sees this and pushes Sabu in the way and Michaels connects with SWC on him! 1…2.. RVD breaks up the pin with a steel chair and the ref throws the match out.

Winners: via DQ Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels
13;34

Rob throws the chair to Michaels, Boom! Van Daminator! Austin goes after Rob, but he jumps out of the ring before Stone Cold can grab him. So Austin grabs Sabu by his long greasy hair and hits a Stone Cold Stunner on him! He then dumps him out of the ring like a piece of garbage as his music hits. RVD looks over at Michaels who is busted open from the vicious steel chair kick. The egomaniac Rob doesn’t seem too concerned about his partner and more with hurting Michaels as he backs up the ramp giving the thumbs as he goes…

Before we go to commercial we see the arrival of the World Heavyweight champion and he doesn’t look happy at all.

Backstage EMTs are helping Shawn Michaels clean up the blood on his face, as an empathetic Stone Cold walks in after him. Cameras show him not caring and looking to walk to his locker room when he is walked up to by Mean Gene. Okerland asks Austin about Savage. The Rattlesnake starts tarsh talking "the old man" but is "Savagley (pardon the pun) attacked from behind!!!

The Macho Man, with backwards black leather beret and sunglasses hits a double axe handle shot right into the back of Austin's skull knocking him face first into the camera. Austin almost shotts right into our living rooms as the camera falls to the floor, and Savage is beating the holy hell out of Austin.

We can't see much as mean Gene yells out for someone to to stop this as the camera picks up feet shuffling, and then the camera finally gets picked up and security has the yelling Randy Savage being ejected from the arena, as Austin is on the groundgrabbing his head and rolling in pain with blood pouring like a tap from the back of his head. We even hear smone one from the production truck say "cut to commercial quick!"...

As we return, the fans are on their feet as the marching theme music of the Champion of the World blasts through the speakers. His name is chanted as he walks out onto the stage amidst a wall of pyro! The commentary team are still in shock over the brutal assault on Austin by the Macho man. Goldberg stops and he breathes smoke as he roars down to the ring. The big gold belt over his shoulder he grabs a mic and looks back to the stage area.

He calls out the Undertaker for attacking him last week. He says that everyone in that locker room seems to be scared of the Deadman, but last week just showed that the big bad Undertaker is scared of him “… and so you should be!” At Starrcade he is going to Spear and Jackhammer the Deadman straight back to hell!

The bell tolls and out walks The Undertaker. He stays up on the stage and after a long pause he tells Goldberg that he is a fool. He has no idea what is in store for him at Starrcade. The match will be indeed the biggest of all time and the two of them will clash like titans. But in the end, Goldberg cannot stop what can’t be stopped, can’t kill what can’t be killed, and when the smoke clears Goldberg will Rest. In Peace. The bell tolls again, mist pours up from the stage hiding Taker, and then pyro and fire explode masking his exit as Goldberg is left watching an empty stage as we go to another commercial.

As we come back Eddie Guerrero, the number one contender to the United States Heavyweight Championship comes to the ring. He tells the fans to shut up and listen to what he ahs to say. He says that Diamond Dallas Page couldn’t tie his shoe laces and they are all looking at the next US Champ. He says he wants DDP to watch what he does to his opponent tonight, and realise just who he is facing at Starrcade…

Match #4
Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho

“C’mon baby!” Jericho yells as the fans are on their feet for Y2J! He rolls into the ring smiling as Guerrero has a vile sneer on his face for Lionheart. The bell sounds and Guerrero pounces. He hits him with lefts and rights and stomps and kicks as Latino Heat has gone berserk. The referee tells Eddie to open those fists up and get out of the corner. Eddie, whips Jericho across the ring and looks for a dropkick.. but Jericho grabs his legs in mid air and looks to counter into the Walls of Jericho. But Eddie is able to escape, only to be hit with a headlock take over as Jericho looks to slow the match down and gain some control.

This works, and Eddie is exposed to a slingshot drop kick that sends him out to the floor! Jericho pumps up the crowd and goes over the top with a plancha that hits its mark. Jericho rolls Eddie back in, but the wily veteran catches Jericho coming in with a roll up for two. When Y2J gets to his feet he is taken down with a clothesline and then tied up with an El Paso Laso. Jericho gets to the ropes, and the match continues as these two men go back in forth trying to out do the other.

Jericho hits the bulldog and then goes for the Lionsault, but Eddie gets the knees up. Guerrero then hits the three amigo vertical suplexes with gets boos from the crowd, and then looks for the Frogsplash. But Jericho jumps onto the closest rope and Eddie is crotched on the top. Both men are hurt and Eddie falls to the mat. Jericho again looks for the Walls but Eddie is too close to the ropes. Eddie looks to hide behind the ref. the ref trying to push him away isn’t able to see Guerrero punt kick Jericho in the groin. Eddie quickly rolls him up for the three count!

Winner: Eddie Guerrero
10:05

Eddie’s mantra of cheat to win continues here in the WCWF, but his theme music is cut short by “Self-High-Five!”. Guerrero looks at the stage looking for Diamond Dallas Page, but as the People’s Champ usually does, he comes through the fans and stands behind Eddie. Guerrero is unaware who is behind him and from the reaction of the fans turns, only to be struck down by a Diamond Cutter to a huge pop from the sold out crowd! Page holds his title in the air as Eddie holding his face, rolls out and falls onto the floor. Page celebrates with the people…

Backstage Rob Van Dam is interviewed by Mean Gene. RVD trash talks Shawn Michaels and says he isn’t in Mr. PPV’s league and that doesn’t make him a bad wrestler it just makes him like everyone else. RVD says he came to WCWF to show the world he is Whole F’n Show, and at one of the biggest shows of the year Starrcade 199X, he wants the Heart Break Kid in the ring, so he can show off his moves and in front of the whole world beat Michaels one, two, three. Because he’s Rob. Van. Dam.

Back at ringside and the commentary team talk about Starrcade and the huge matches that are on the card, headlined by the clash of the titans, the Phenom vs. ‘Da Man. The Undertaker takes on the World Champion Goldberg one on one. The United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page will face Eddie Guerrero wit the title on the line, Jushin Thunder Liger puts the Cruiserweights title up against Rey Mysterio Jr. and of course The Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin.

AAAAAARGH What a Ruuuush! The fans go up as out walks the World Tag Team Champions, The Road Warriors! The stomp down the ramp to a deafening ovation. The stand in the ring for what seems like minutes soaking up the cheers from the sold out crowd. Finally the cheers die down enough for Hawk and Animal to speak. They say that Starrcade is soon upon us and the Raod Warriors still don’t have challengers to their titles. Hawk says that Roddy Piper came to them this week and said that they had earned the right to name their opponents and select the team they thought deserved a Championship Match. Animal then says that they believe in earning opportunities and so right now it will be a tag team battle royale match! All teams will enter the ring and the winner will face them at Starrcade. The catch is they have to work together to win the match because if one member is thrown out, then they are both eliminated!

Match #5
#1 Contenders Battle Royale match for the World Tag Team Championships

The video-tron has a 60 second clock ready to tick down, when out walks the first team. The fans go crazy as out comes the Hardy Boyz! Their opponents… “Oh you didn’t know?!” The New Age Outlaws Road Dog and Billy Gunn! The bell sounds and the clock starts to tick down. The Champions watch from the side as they keep an eye on the action.

Gunn looks to use his size and power to throw the smaller men out, but they are indeed quicker, and try quick double team moves to put down the larger opponents. Matt jumps up to the middle rope and unleashes his leg drop He tries to throw Jesse James over the top but it is saved by Gunn, who then tries to gorilla press slam him over the top. But Jeff Hardy drop kicks him in the back and Matt escapes and Gunn goes over the top and falls to the floor eliminating the NAO! They can’t believe it and try to get back in the ring, but the ref’s point to the back as they are livid.

The clock hits 0 and then back to 60 as out walks Cactus Jack and Sid Vicious. These two monsters were the Road Warriors last challengers and seem to be hungry for another shot. The Hardyz look very much out of their depth but they stand ready to fight. Sid steps over the top rope, but immediately is dropkicked in the chest and face by Jeff! Matt goes after him with stiff lefts and rights as the Wildman Cactus comes in and attacks with big time clotheslines.

Jack is crazed and beats the living hell out of both Hardyz! Sid gets to his feet and he is no mood to play with “boys” and looks at the Road Warriors as Jack feeds him Matt. Vicious taunts the Champions as he Powerbombs Matt in the middle of the ring! Cactus then double arm DDTs Jeff and both Hardyz are out! They trash talk the Champs and are about to dump the Hardys out when the clock ticks down to 0 and the crowd goes crazy! “Yesss! Yess! Noo! No!!” Out comes Harlem Heat! Stevie Ray and Booker T come in a house of fire and deliver big time shots to Sid and Cactus. The brothers whip their opponents into the ropes, and then deliver sidekicks and then Booker hits an Axe Kick, while Stevie a big clothesline! Cactus falls to the floor through the middle rope, so is not eliminated as the Heat concentrate on double teaming Sid and throwing him over.

Vicious holds on for dear life as they do their best to throw him out. The clock ticks down again as pyro explodes and out walks the Dudley Boys! They run out and go after Harlem Heat. But Booker and Stevie are ready for them and the two teams exchange blows. Cactus has a chair and he is about to come back in by Hawk takes it from him. He gets kicked in the face for his trouble, and then Jack hits his big elbow drop to the floor on him! Hawk is hurt and Animal comes in and attacks him! Sid slides out to the floor through the middle rope and knocks down the powerhouse. Jack and Sid then throw Animal into the guard rail and get back into the battle royale.

The clock hits zero again and out runs Raven and Saturn. The slide in and go straight for the Hardy Boys. They viciously attack them and look more to hurt them than throw them out of the ring. The Hardyz though valiantly fight back and Jeff goes high risk and hits a whisper in the wind after stepping on his brothers back crushing Saturn in the corner. Booker then dumps Saturn over the top rope and they are eliminated! The clock ticks down and hits zero again and out walk Scott Norton and Bryan Adams. These two behemoths slowly walk into the ring and start throwing lefts and rights and stomping everyone.

Norton is a wrecking ball and puts everyone down. In all the commotion, Raven comes back in and discus lariats Booker T and sends him to the floor! Harlem Heat are eliminated and Stevie is not impressed and goes after Raven, but he is dropkicked in the face as he steps through the ropes by Saturn. Saturn then slingshots off the ropes and comes down on the back of Ray’s head with a leg drop!

But Jeff Hardy blasts Saturn in the face knocking off the apron and landing hard on the steel guard rail. And Booker T is waiting and delivers a flapjack on the concrete to Saturn! Booker then brawls with Raven as the refs try to get control. With their backs turned, The Road Warriors step into the ring and eliminate Cactus and Sid! The Champs then jump out of the ring and then hit big clotheslines again on them as the final team walks out… The Outsiders!!!

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall play to the crowd and walk very slowly to the ring allowing Norton and Adams and dish out big time punishment on the already beaten up Hardys and Dudleys. Hall gets in and starts punching away as Nash steps over the top rope and starts hitting everyone with big boots. But Norton refuses to drop and starts attacking both men. This allows Buh Buh Ray to tell Devon to get the tables. Devon slides out to the floor, grabs a table and Buh Buh sets it up in the corner. But he is destroyed by Norton who tackles him straight through it! Devon gets back in but is hit with a discus punch from Hall sending him over the top and eliminated!

Norton has almost knocked himself silly and so Adams is double teamed by the Outsiders. Adams fights them both off and does very well, but eventually can’t handle the double team from the two renegades and he is clothesline to the floor. Norton rolls out to the floor at the instruction of the refs and Hall and Nash pretend to be afraid when they look around to see that the Hardy Boyz are the only ones left to defeat. The Road Warriors cheer them on as Matt gets up and attacks but is goozled and chokelsammed by Hall. Nash and him laugh as they pick up Jeff and look to throw him out for the win… but Hardy holds on and gets back in the ring behind them and climbs the turnbuckles he flies through the air and double dropkicks them in the back sending them over the top!!!

The fans go crazy, but Hall holds on and Nash hangs over the ropes. Matt desperately runs over to push Nash out but is stopped by Hall who gouges the eyes. And in a fit of rage gives him a kick to the stomach and then goes for the Razor’s Edge over the top rope… but Jeff pulls him back in and then hits the ropes. Matt drops to all fours and Jeff leaps off his back and delivers a Whisper in the Wind and Hall goes toppling over the top rope to the floor!!! The Hardy Boyz have done it!

Winner: The Hardy Boyz
14:09

The young guys celebrate as Hall is n disbelief on the floor. Nash though is still in the ring and he starts giving the young guys a real beat down. But the Champs dive in and they beat up on Nash and then to the roar of the crowd, hits the 7 footer with the Doomsday Device!!! The roof blows off the building as Nash is out, and the Road Warriors hold up Matt and Jeff’s arms in victory! The Hardys are overwhelmed by winning and by the Warriors giving them their endorsement. Hawk and Animal almost rip their arms out of their sockets rasing Matt and Jeff’s arms to the four corners to a huge ovation!

It’s main event time and just before the break we see each man heading towards the ring…

Main Event
Sting vs. Big Van Vader vs. Bret Hart vs. The Great Muta

Last week these four men faced each other in a tag team match which saw Sting and Hart get the victory. This week it is every man for himself in this star studded fat four way match. The winner of this match could very well be next inline to face the winner of Goldberg and the Undertaker after Starrcade.

Big slugfest to start and Sting and Vader hit the floor while Hart quickly gets Muta in the Sharpshooter! Muta makes the ropes and then grabs a headlock and gets a neckbreaker for two! Sting is back in and helps his partner, clotheslining Muta and then. Stinger splash gets two as Hart breaks up the pin. Sting and Hart argue as Vader comes in and takes both “heroes” down with a double clothesline.

Muta joins his partner in stomping both men and inflicting major damage. They swap and then swap again, dishing out different moves to Sting and Hart. They then toss both men to the floor, and Muta spits mist into the eyes of Vader and tries to roll him up, but the big man pushes it away and stumbles into the corner rubbing his eyes. He seems blinded and leaves himself open to a spinwheel kick from Muta!!! Muta Moonsault!!! 1..2.. Sting pulls Muta out to the floor and blasts him with a big right hand, while Hart rolls in and pins Vader for two!

Sting back in and Hart hits him with shots of his own, whips him into the ropes and takes him down with a big knee lift. Vader takes his mask off to try and get his vision back as Hart and Sting exchange holds in counter mat wrestling. Sting gets Hart in the Deathlock, but the Hitman reverses it into the Sharpshooter in a great sequence but Vader knocks down Hart before Sting can tap out!

Muta chops away on Sting in the corner, and then moves out of the way as Vader hits a big running splash, but Sting moves, Vader hits hard and Sting clotheslines him down and then has another for Muta! The fans are behind the Stinger as he roars and looks again for another Deathlock! Muta though gets up and Bulldogs him for a two count, broken up by Hart! Vader comes at Hart but he backdrops him. Muta and Hart then exchange moves as Muta gets the better of Hart with his strikes and kicks and then explodes off the ropes with his Muta elbow drop!! 1..2.. Hart rolls the shoulder. Muta pulls him up by his hair, and then hits a backbreaker and goes up top for the Monsault. Sting though is up and pushes him off the top and plummets to the ground hitting the guard rail!

Vader with the corner clothesline on Sting and then when Sting fights back he no-sells the shots. Big boot and then a Vader bomb!!! 1..2… Sting too close to the ropes! Hart though is back up and clips the monster behind the knee and then looks for a figure-four. Vader uses his power to try and escape, but hart releases the hold, drags him over to the ropes and cannonballs onto the knee! Vader roars in pain and then Hart goes back and again locks in the Figure Four! Muta though comes back in to break it up and he clotheslines Hart out, BUT he lands on his feet and grabs Muta’s ankles, trips him down, drags into the ring post and locks on the figure four around the post!!!

Muta is in a world of hurt as he screams in pain as the ref gives hart a five count to break the deadly move. Hart does at 5, but then goes back to it! Muta taps, but being under the ropes, it is not counted by the ref and he counts again. Hart releases the hold again, but he wants to inflict more damage. The Excellence of execution is doing just that. But the ref distracts him and Muta pulls his knees up and Hart goes face first into the post!

Back in the ring and Sting hits rights, lefts, chops and kicks on Vader and then Sting hips him inot the corner and hits another Stinger Splash! Sting then climbs the turnbuckles and looks for a top rope splash, but is dropkicked in the gut by Muta! 1..2.. Sting kicks out! Flash Elbow gets two. Hart heads back in, so Muta clotheslines him for two as well. Sting comes back with a Stinger splash and bulldogs Muta, only to end up being powerbombed by Vader! Hart hits vader with shots to the face and then climbs up to the top for his leap punch 1…2… Vader kicks out as Muta goes up top for another moonsault but this time Bret cuts him off and hits a backdrop superplex!!!! Hart is hurt and slowly covers Muta..1…2… Sting breaks it up!

Every man is down as the ref counts to ten. Each man finally gets up and Vader and Sting pair off and Hart and Muta pair off with big shots. Vader though puts Sting down and then puts both Muta and Hart down. He is exhausted and his knee is severely hurt. He looks for another powerbomb on Hart but his knee gives, Hart lands on top of him and hooks the leg. 1..2…3!

Winner: Bret “The Hitman” Hart
17:26
Hart is declared the winner as the fans go crazy for a great main event. The Hitman gets his arm raised but both he and ref get green mist spewed in their eyes by an irate Muta! Muta then hits a Brain buster on Hart and crawls out of the ring flashing his green tongue to the cameras as WCWF goes off the air.

Bearded Review

-Other than some grammatical errors the show was stellar GrandSword. The matches were well written and Starrcade is being built nicely here in the fantasy world of WCWF.

-One thing I like about this (and even so in you TNA BT to a point) is that you put a majority of your focus on wrestling and the matches in general. Most of your shows are filled with quality matches and the promos are just a side bit. Sometimes I wish I could just throw out 6 matches and limit my promos, but usually that doesn't happen for me. So props on that.

-I really like what you are doing here and I'm enjoying the feuds that are being built. You have some great matchups on hand with Austin/Savage and Taker/Goldberg carrying the load and being the big two main events. But that doesn't take anything away from the solid stuff you have below them with Hart/Muta and Sting/Vader carrying the upper portion of the midcard and possibly RVD/HBK. Your midcard is all good as well with DDP/Guerrero, Angle/Shamrock and Bulldog/Steiner. Throw in Mysterio/Liger and LOD/Hardyz and you got a doozy of a Starrcade show.

-Overall the work you put into this is excellent. You are building up some nice feuds and giving everyone a good amount of time to showcase the talents they posses. Whether that be through promos or in the ring you are getting it done. Issues with BT like this are usually getting everyone the right time and getting everything started. Right now we see some DQ finishes, but I expect that to cut down once everyone gets settled into a role and we start moving at a nice rate here. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next installment of WCWF alongside TNA.

The year is 199X and in an alternate reality, the wrestling business as we knew it was completely transformed. Forged from the fires of the Monday Night Wars, the WCWF was created to showcase the best against the best where dream matches became reality. Starrcade is six days away and wrestling fans around the world eagerly await the next instalment of ….

Pyro explodes and the commentary team of Jim Ross and Bobby “the Brain” Heenan welcome everyone to WCWF. The fans are abuzz as they are about to see the biggest stars in all of wrestling once again do battle. The sound of bagpipes explodes out of the speakers as the fans get on their feet as the ring announcer introduces the Commissioner of WCWF, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper!!!

Wearing his trademark kilt, leather jacket and a big smile on his face, he steps into the ring. He waits for the chants to dies down and thanks the sold out crowd for attending tonight. He tells them that without them there would be no wrestling. He then talks about Strarrcade, and in six days the fans are going to be witnessing the greatest show of all time to date. He talks about the clash of the titans for the World Championship, Goldberg vs. The Undertaker which will be an absolute war. He can’t wait for these two guys to go out and kill each other.

He talks about the United States Heavyweight Championship, as DDP will defend against Latino Heat, Eddie Guerrero! The David and Goliath story of The Road Warriors putting their ttiles up against the young Hardy Boyz! Just signed this very week. The Showstopper vs. The Whole F’n Show. Shawn Michaels goes one on one against Rob Van Dam! The Hitman will go one on one with the Great Muta and Sting will take on Big Van Vader! And Stone Cold Steev Austin will be in one corner and in the other the Mach…

“What up Mach!” hits and out walks to the heavy guitar riff, the baddest man in wrestling, Randy Savage in his black outfit, leather backwards beret and sunglasses. He steps into the ring and stands inches from Piper’s face. Piper being the tough guy he has been throughout his career doesn’t back down from anyone, even the Macho Man and stands with him. The music stops the fans boo, and Macho talks. Piper’ mic picks up his words. He rips off his sunglasses and with bad intentions shotting out of them he says that no one bans him from a building. No one throws out the Macho Man.

Last week, Piper had security escort Savage out of the building because he didn’t want any more interference in Austin’s matches. Piper though now has to pay for it… Savage unleashes hell on the WCWF Commish. Huge lefts and rights rain down on him, and Piper tries to cover up and fight back, but Savage is just that, and tears into him with a vicious beat down. The fans boo and call for Austin, as Piper is opened up. Blood is now on Randy’s knuckles…

Glass Shatters and the fans explode as out runs the Texas Rattlesnake! Stone Cold Steve Austin dives under the bottom rope looking to get at Savage. But the Macho Man with all his strength grabs Piper by the scruff of the jacket and propels Piper at Austin live a sack of potatoes! Austin tries to push Piper off him and get to his feet but Savage is now on Stone Cold and starts laying in punches on him! Austin desperately looks to fight back and he does, as the fans get behind their anti-hero.

But Savage hits a big clothesline, and then climbs up top for the Sky Elbow. But Austin with everything he ahs left jumps up on the rope, knocking Savage down back to the mat. Austin has saved himself as Savage drops to the floor and bad mouths him as finally out runs security. They drag Macho to the back, but Austin wont have it, and he runs after him. The fans explode again as we’ve got ourselves a sea of security trying pull apart these two maniacs. They try to get at each other as they have to be separated as EMTs rush in to the ring to help Roddy. It is complete chaos as WCWF goes to commercial…

We get a “During the break” video showing how hard it was to once again to try and separate these two men. Macho yells out that Austin is a deadman and Stone Cold yells back to bring it on as the video stops and the commentary team move us back to ringside for our first match of the evening.

Match #1
US Champion Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Guerrero and Taz

DDP and Jericho both don’t like the number one contender to the US title. But Guerrero has brought back up in the form as the Human Suplex Machine. Heenan says during his commentary that he spoke to Taz this afternoon, and Guerrero says if Taz teamed with him tonight, he will get the first shot at the US belt after he defeats Page at Starrcade.

Eddie directs traffic and Taz starts the match. DDP and Jericho both want Eddie to start but he jumps off the apron and ensures Taz is the one. The bell rings and DDP starts off for his team. Taz looks for a suplex, but Page is able to block it due to his height advantage. He then hts a discus clothesline for a quick 1 count. Taz though is pissed off about this and attacks Page with big shots and stomps. Page though fights back gaining the advantage. Eddie is still on the floor, as Jericho tags in and fires up the crowd with a dropkick and then a Lionsault for 2!

Quick tags in and out as Guerrero finally gets on the apron and breaks up some more pins. Taz is getting pissed off with Eddie now. But Guerrero keeps making the save. DDP signals to the crowd and points at Eddie to finish Taz with the Diamond Cutter, but Taz blocks it and in a sick move turns it into a choke and then a suplex!!!

Both me are down but Taz gets the tag, Eddie hits the Frogsplash, only for Jericho to make the save at 2 and 9/10ths! Jericho is a house of fire on Eddie whips him off the ropes into several clotheslines and then goes for the Walls of Jericho, but the ref tells him he is not the legal man. Taz knocks him out of the ring, and Eddie rolls up Page with his feet on the ropes!

No! DDP kicks out and fans go crazy! Blind tag by Taz, Eddie whips Page off the ropes, he drops down hoping for Taz to hit him with a Lariat but DDP delivers an out of nowhere Diamond Cutter! Jericho trips Eddie and pulls him out of the ring…1.2.3!

Winners Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Jericho
11:52

The crowd pops, Page celebrates with the fans, jumping into the crowd. But Eddie gets right in his face as they are separated by the guard rail. Page’s music stops as Eddie stares at the Champ walking off, giving the sign of the belt . We go backstage to check on Roddy Piper.

Piper is receiving treatment, but he says he has been fighting all his life. He has taken the best shots from the best and kept on coming. So tonight he will keep on coming in his role as Commish, tonight in a tag team main event, Taker and Macho will partner up and go against Goldberg and Stone Cold! The fans go crazy for this as we go to commercial.

Match #2
Shawn Michaels vs. Sabu w/ Rob Van Dam

Sabu walks out with RVD in jean shorts and a gym singlet. Rob is pumping him up as HBK’s music hits. Michaels says that in six days he sends Van Dam back to the bingo hall, and tonight he sends Sabu’s teeth down his throat. Michaels looks to bring Sabu to the mat, but the hardcore icon doesn’t want any of that and drop kicks Michaels’ knee! Sabu then comes off the ropes with a leg drop for 2! Sabu goes on the offensive, but Michaels counters with deep arm drags and big right hands and his flying forearm smash!

Michaels kips up, but with RVD’s constant distractions, Sabu is on him with a power slam and then an Arabian Press for two! Michaels though chops Sabu down, hits an inverted atomic drop a clothesline and then locks in a figure four. Sabu gets to the ropes but eats a diving elbow drop, and Michaels tunes up the band.

RVD grabs his ankle just before he is about to execute the move. Michaels flies over the top rope and takes out Van Dam to a big pop! But Sabu flies over and takes out Michaels. Sabu rolls Michaels back in the ring and locks in the Camel Clutch. Michaels fights it and Sabu comes down on his back. Sabu then goes out to the apron and does a somersault leg drop!

1..2.. Michaels kicks out as Sabu hits the Triple rope moonsault, but Shawn gets the knees up and in front of Van Dam connects with Sweet Chin Music!

Winner Shawn Michaels
13:46

Boom! Chair shot to the spine by RVD! Rob drags HBK to the corner by his hair and then skateboards the steel into Michaels’ face! Rob looks down at the Showstopper and gives the RVD thumbs as Rob makes his way to the back, not even worrying about checking on his tag partner Sabu.

Back from commercial and… “Arrrggghh What a Rush!”, the fans explode as out comes the World Tag Team Champions, the infamous Road Warriors! They stomp into the ring and get up on the turnbuckles bringing the sold out arena to their feet. Each man jumps up to great the reactions from the fans. The Road Warriors then have a mic each and Hawk says that last week, in an amazing Tag Team Gauntlet match the very first team outlasted all the other heavy hitters to become the #1 contenders to their belts. Animal says he wants to call them out to the ring, and asks the fans to get up out of their seats for the Hardy Boyz!

The Hardyz come out to a huge pop up as they storm down the ramp and into the ring. The fans are solidly behind them as they also play up to them and then finally stand in front of the giants of the sport figuratively and literally. Hawk says that first of all they want to shake their hands and congratulate them. The two team shake hands. Matt and Jeff say that the Road Warriors are heroes to them and it will be an honour to face them at Starrcade for the belts. Animal thanks them for that, but they want to remind them that at Starrcade, there will be mutual respect, but there will be no quarter shown. There will be no taking it easy on our little buddies type attitude. The match is for the World Tag Team titles, and there will be no David and Goliath type outcome. At Starrcade the Hardy Boyz are coming for their belts and they will do what they always do, destroy anyone who tries to take them from them.

The Hardyz looked shocked at first, intimidated, but shake their heads acknowledging that they want no special treatment. And they offer their hands again in sportsmanship…

...when out walks Cactus Jack and Psycho Sid Vicious. The Insane Ones stand on the stage and say they are disgusted by this and that the Raod Warriors are cowards! They say that last week Hawk and Animal took them out of the Gauntlet match because they knew they were no match for them. They knew that at Starrcade they would retain their belts if they wrestled the pipsqueaks instead of two of the most powerful and dangerous wrestlers alive.

The Road Warriors look at each other and shrug their shoulders… they challenge Cactus and Sid to a title match right now! The fans go crazy, Sid and Cactus have sadistic smiles on their faces as they make their way down the ramp. The Road warriors take their spiked armour off as we go to commercial…

Jack is back and goes after Animal but gets a powerslam for his trouble! The ref then tells Animal to get on the apron as Sid works on Hawk with shoulder blocks to the mid section, a whip to the ropes and a big boot for another 2 count. The two big teams go back and forth hitting each other now with big time power moves as the Hardyz get a front row seat of whoever they will face in six days for the belts.

Jack tries the Mandible Claw, but Hawk pushes him off into his partner knocking Sid off the apron. Animal comes in and picks him up in the electric chair and Hawk flies off the top! Doomsday Device!..1…2…3!

But Hawk and Animal teach the youngsters a quick lesson in pro-wrasslin’ 101… The Hardy Boyz are both short arm clotheslined! Hawk body slams Matt and Animal powerbombs Jeff! They walk off as the fans aren’t sure to cheer or boo…

Backstage and Mean Gene is with the World’s Champion Goldberg and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin says tonight he gets his hands on Savage and the Macho Man might not get to Starrcade, and that’s the bottom line. Goldberg, though is a bit more focussed. He says that tonight, the Undertaker will finally realise that not only is the Champ not afraid of the Deadman, but it is Taker who is afraid of the Champ! Taker and Macho are next! And at Starrcade it will be the Undertaker who will be standing in the ring, and second guessing himself when Goldberg walks through flames and breathes fire. The fans go wild for such a crazy showcase of stars as they all make their way to the ring with all their amazing entrances. The fans are abuzz as Kurt Angle wishes to start for his team. This immediately doesn’t endear him to the likes of Vader and Muta. This makes Shamrock get in the ring and Angle seems to regret his decision. The bell rings and Angle steps into the ropes. Shamrock can’t stand Angle and pushes him in the face, the ref tries to separate them, and Angle shoots in grabbing the leg. Shamrock though holds firm and has great takedown defence!

Shamrock drops down with a big elbow to the back of Angle’s head and the Olympic Gold medallist tags in Vader. The big man steps in and Shamrock is up for the challenge. The start throwing bombs at each other, Shamrock’s kicks sound like gunshots! Vader is able to push Shamrock into a corner and uload on him with forearm attacks and then beils him across the ring. Vader tags in Muta who stalks Shamrock and explodes with blistering speed with Mongolian chops, buzzsaw kicks and then a roundhouse. He then hits his turbo elbow drop for a 2 count. Rey Mysterio breaks it up. Muta though is livid and is lightning quick for such a big man and lashes out his clawed hand and grabs Mystrerio by the mask! He tears at it, which brings in the Stinger who slaps the hand away freeing his partner and then hits Muta with a dropkick only the Stinger could do!

Sting calls out to the fans and gets back to the apron, as Muta tags in Steiner, who hits several suplexes and gets 2 count! He looks for a camel clutch , but Shamrock is able to counter, push Steiner off and tag in Hart. Steiner looks for a Steinerline on the Hitman, but Bret is able to duck it, get in some good shots and then hit a vertical suplex. Steiner gets to his feet and Hart attacks his back with right hands and head butts. The Hitman is softening up his opponent’s lower back probably for the sharpshooter.

Steiner whips Hart into the ropes, Hart leapfrogs over Steiner tags in the Stinger, the crowd erupts and Sting is pumped up landing some big right hands and clotheslines. Steiner rolls to the outside to escape, only to be smashed by Sting flying over the top with a dive! Sting calls to the fans rolls Steiner back in, but when he gets in back in himself he is hit by an Angle punch and then German suplexed on the apron!!!

Sting folds up like an accordion and falls to the flor. Steiner tags out to Muta, who attacks Sting on the floor! He throws him into the guard rail and all hell breaks loose as the Stinger’s partners come to his rescue. Chaos erupts and all 10 men go at it as the fans go crazy. Either on the floor or in the ring, each man seems to hit his finisher on someone as the crowd is going insane. Liger hits his Ligerbomb on Hart! 1..2… Rey breaks it up! The two cruisers stare each other down, they both hit the ropes and take each other out with a sick colliding double cross body! Sting is back in and he stinger splashes Angle in the corner, rolls him to the mat and locks in the Deathlock. But Muta spews the Green Mist into his eyes, and then hits a brainbuster! 1..2.. Bulldog makes the save! Powerslam! 1..2… Vader breaks it up and hits a powerbomb! 1..2.. Steiner jumps on the back of Vader for extra weight! 3!

Winners: Vader, Muta, Steiner, Angle and Liger

Steiner trash talks Bulldog his opponent on Sunday as the ring looks like a car crash. Everyone gets to their feet slowly as the “heels” cackle, limping to the back in victory as we go to commercial.

Main Event
World Champion Goldberg and Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker and Randy Savage

The fans are waiting in anticipation for this one. The Undertaker’s slow walk to the ring has them standing in the aisles. Then the heavy guitar riff of Savage has them booing profusely at the legend. But then the glass shatters and the fans blow the roof off the arena! Austin stomps down the ring and then the fans chant the Champions name as out walks Goldberg to join Austin on the apron. The Champ and the Rattlesnake stare at each other. These two have a mutual respect, and I’m sure Austin wants to face Goldberg again for the title. The Undertaker starts for his team as Goldberg says he wants in. Austin respects that and we get a preview of Starrcade already. The atmosphere is electric as the ref rings the bell. ‘Berg and ‘Taker stand eye to eye, but Austin runs around the ring and attacks Savage!!!

These two brawl on the floor distracting the two titans ion the ring. Austin and Savage throw each other into the steel steps, posts and guardrail. Taker sees the opening n the ring and blasts Goldberg with a sucker punch. And another and another. The Champ is rocked as the big “soup bones” connect taking down “Da Man”. Th e ref tries to gain control as Savage and Austin spill into the fans. Security comes in to try and stop them as the Undertaker hits a big boot and then a leg drop! He then goes for the Tombstone, but Goldberg wriggles out hits the ropes and the spear connects!!!

Goldberg looks around for the ref, but he is too busy. Goldberg gorilla presses Taker and slams him down and sets again for another spear. Taker rolls out of the ring, as Goldberg roars. The fans are following the action as the two maniacs fight in the stands. Goldberg follows Taker up the ramp as they fight on the stage. More refs come out to try and stop them as Taker and Goldberg knock them out when they try and get in between them. Taker hits a big boot, Goldberg no sells it and hits a clothesline but the Undertaker no sells that. Goldberg roars in Taker’s face. Taker gives the ‘slashes his throat” sign, both men poised with a huge Starrcade sign right behind them as we go off the air….

Coming soon...
