Watching Avatar: The Last Airbender

Shadowmancer

I am The Last Baron
The Cartoon, just finished the Water Book, starting on the Earth Book.

Good to watch again, especially with the New Avatar mini series coming out later in the year

Mick did the voice of The Boulder? That's awesome! The show is so much better than the asshole sucking movie.

They didn't get hardly any of the names or characters right. The movie was basically the play that the Fire Nation people did about Aang.

Fuck the movie, let us never speak of it again.

The show was awesome.

What movie? I don't even know what you're talking about.

you guys see the series finale? In my opinion, it sucked ten times worse than the movie.

How do you figure? The story ended, the loose ties were wrapped up in a neat little bow, and everything was fine. I don't know how they could have done anything realistically different.

Zuko asks about where his mother is and we get no answer. i call that a loose tie.

by the way M. Night Shyamalan made a movie based on the series called The Last Airbender.

All of us know this. It completely fucked up the show beyond belief.

The series endng did leave a lot of questions unanswered, but they said it was on purpose so that people would tune into the new series for the answer. Apparently the new avatar is a girl and supposedly related to aang. From what has been released so far sounds to be just as good as the original series.

She is a waterbender from the southern tribe, and she is most of the way through her training at the start of the series learning Airbending from Aang and Katara's son Tenzin. I have read that people think that she is descended from Sokka and Suki.

I felt the ending was too sudden. I expected more some confrontations between Aang and the Fire Lord before the actual final fight took place. Then again most of the last season seemed like it was rushed.
