So an MMA board I've visited has this idea where a certain number of people agree to watch the same past MMA show and review and talk about it. High points low points etc.
I figured we could do that on this board here but with past wrestling shows. Because Id like a lot of people to be able to participate I want to make it so its not some obscure indie show or japan or impossible to find WCW/NWA event from back in the day.
Ideally it would be one someone could easily get a hold of to watch such as a Wrestlemania, SummerSlam or Royal Rumble show.
A few rules:
1. This is not in the Spam zone so you must have an actual thought and explination on your review of the show.
2. We could assign it on one day then you have 5 days from then to watch it. I think that is enough time for everyone to get a hold of the event to watch it and discuss.
3. After the first show we can rotate who gets to pick the next one to watch. Have the mods rotate or just high level posters.
4. Remember to review and discuss the entire show not just one match.
What do you guys think? I think it would be fun to have everyone on the same page and have an event fresh in their minds when typing up their thoughts on it.
Since I started the thread Ill nominate the first PPV to watch and review.
Wrestlemania 6 from Skydome in Toronto Canada.
Besides the main event of Hulk vs. Warrior I think this Wrestlemania had some great topics of discussion as well as some solid under card matches.
So who would be in to participate? Say by this time tomorrow we could start the 5 day deadline?
Whos in? Any other suggestions to this idea?
