wasnt really around for the sheik, was real into wrestling when warrior was around. and as for warrior, he was a popular wwe wrestler when most of wrestling was directed at kids, i'll give him that, but even if he didnt make sense alot of the time, kids thought it was "cool", i did. an wwe did give him alot of interview time, if they didnt like what he was doing then why was he on soo much???

but he did mess things up for himself (if they are true.... theres always 2 sides to a story....and obviously wwe was gonna bash him in the self destruction of the ultimate warrior....just look at the title)

I don't think half the people here are copying from the DVD. We all just know he is a glorified asswhole in life. Here are some reasons why I think that:

1. He blasted gay people at a speech at this college I think. I wouldn't mind but some of the kids at that college or wherever it was, he was there role model and than he blasted gays. Someone who standed for everything right is the total oppisite in real life.

2. This one, I got from the DVD. He tried to rob Vince Mcmahon of so much money. I know on DVD's if there was a fall out they try and shoot on someone but I believe Mcmahon on this one because of what he did at that place.

3. His little law suit with WWE about his DVD. He did that out of spite and everyone know's that.

Now, Warrior wasn't the best of in ring technicians but he did get over with the crowd but the whole time he was a phony and all he cared about was the fame and the money. If Warrior was a good guy he wouldn't have heat with guys like Hulk Hogan and Iron Shiek.

It's amazing to see people defend the biggest laughing stock in the history of the business. Honestly, look at any interview about the Warrior, non of his peers or co-workers think anything about this guy except that he was a horrible piece of shit. The bottom line is that Warrior is such a pompous asshole that he refused to shake a man's hand. Shiek wasn't asking him to toungue kiss him for fuck's sake, just a one second handshake that will be over before you even realized it's begun. Is that really so hard to do? So the Bottom line is that the Warrior did nothing to the Sheik, didnt leave his area and didnt start the fight. Sheik somehow expected someone he had publicly insulted and talked about to for some reason shake his hand. I dont know about anyone else, but someone who talks about me is not someone I want to associate with. Hogan and Warrior have heat, but you dont see him threating to throw punches and using foul language in front of kids, thats just a terrible example. Sheik was out of line the whole time and Warrior did exactly what he should have in that situation. It's obvious that Shiek wasn't trying to start shit, he simply just wanted to either a: let bygones be bygones and do the MATURE thing, and be a man and shake his hand or b: let the fans see a respectable, friendly version of two guys who could very well be the heroes of the people getting the autographs.

Instead, Warrior just acted like a five year old. He might as well have held his breath until he got his way and WWE rehired him and made a new title just for him called the "Best Wrestler Ever, Ever Ever, Fuck You All Title".

This isn't about Warrior's wrestling skills, or all of the FUCKED UP things hes done in his life from stealing, lying, or running out on his family, this is about two men and a volatile situation that Warrior knew was going to happen if he didn't just shake the man's hand.

Let me put it like this: A cop pulls you over, and starts cussing you out for speeding and having long hair and for playing metal music on your radio. Do you then say "Fuck you asshole" and spend the next few days in jail with a broken jaw, or do you just nod your head, act respectful, and go home to relax, laughing about what an idiot the man is?

What info did you provide, that you for some reason challenged The Warrior to a fight or something? He is suposto take up every wanna be wrestler who decides they want to get involved, he would have no time to even think. Plain and simple Warrior not shaking his hand didnt cause this fight, The Sheik comming over to the Warrior did. Sheik obviously knew the asshole that Warrior was, he basically hates everyone, so why would he all of a sudden decide that he would shake hands with someone who has talked negative about him? That doesnt make any sense. Sheik needed to handle himself like a mature adult, not like a 12th grade trying to start a fight in a lunchroom. But sure, lets just keep saying that Sheik was totally right and that he should be allowed to talk about someone and expect a friendly greeting at the same time. Warrior is who he is, thats not gunna change, and there was no need to even approach him. He didnt want to shake his hand and I dont blame him, so instead of just being an adult and leaving he started a tantrum yelling and cursing and disregarding everyone else who was there. Believe it or not there were kids there, and thats just not a good thing for them to see. You can see the one kid in the background has no idea what to do, its a joke for someone to not be able to control themselves. And ontop of this arguement, none of this is really relevant. Warrior is in better shape, is stronger, younger and just as crazy as Sheik, so that is why I think he would win the fight. Maybe 30 years ago when Sheik was in his prime and Warrior was comming up it would have been different, but I cannot see the Sheik in the state he is in beating up a guy who is the size of Warrior with the mindset Warrior has.

Another totally relevant post that has alot of information on why the Sheik would win the fight. Nice. Ok, like this is getting out of hand. xfearbefore at least has a point to his arguement, and thats all well and good. But some of this stuff is crazy. Tell me how him changing his name to Warrior has ANYTHING to do with the situation that took place. Like Im not expecting anyone to change their mind on their opinion and since they didnt fight we wont know what happened, but how can you consider what you just posted a legit post. You said nothing at all that has any meaning, instead just tore apart Warrior. All of this could of been avoided by he sheik not going to shake his hand, and by warior shaking his hand, both men are at fault. Everyone needs to stop ripping on the warrior. So he isnt that talented, he was a great performer. An since when did everyone have talent in the 80's haha.

Great performer? Warrior ran to the ring, shook the ropes, danced like and ?Iroquois Chief with hemmorhoids, beat some jobber's ass is 10 seconds and then ran back to the locker room. The only time this didn't happen is when he was at a PPV, and then she had to be carried by his opponent. Warrior should have shaken the man's hand and been done with it, or you know, pulled a typical warrior bitch fit and had his table moved.
