Wanted; Samoa Joe/TNA problems

i think it would be cool if it turned out that the band took him and got "revenge" for joes shoot interview on hall in 08 for the no show or to join the band

Back in 2005-2006 Joe seemed like the most awesome wrestler alive, and seemed poised to be the next big star in wrestling. These days he's a low card joke. TNA absolutly destroyed him. A under 5 minute loss to Orlando Jordan and then kidnapped by ninja's.
He is a tremendous wrestler but you can't expect to repackage him AGAIN and expect people to once again take him seriously.

Let me say, I'm a huge Joe fan, but damn in TNA they've just destroyed him. His hardman aura is gone. That guy with the black and white trunks with that killer aura that just demolished opponents is long gone. Man those were the days.

Now the reason comes to light that why Joe is gone from TNA for right now, the HIGHER UPS want him to lose 25-30 pounds. :wtf: I'm sorry, but have they seen how good he is in the ring? He's even better than some of their smaller guys? He's just as agile as AJ Styles. If they are making him lose weight, they better do it across the board for everyone who is considered 'husky' Let's start with Kevin Nash, Scott Hall (beer bellies). James Storm, he ain't as slim as he was when he first started.

I for one, think that is stupid to put that restriction on Samoa Joe. Yet they continue to let The Band get in the ring and just lumber around? If Joe has to pass certain fitness standards, then they need to make EVERYONE pass the fitness standard. :banghead: Thanks alot Bischoff, Hogan, and Dixie.

I think his ring work speaks for itself, BUT they probably want to market him, and think the best way to do that is if he slimmed down a bit. (I see nothing wrong with this) Seems like they are repackaging the monster, and in order to promote him to the Live audience they would probably react more to a slimer guy than a fat guy.

There is a reason why well built and smaller guys get over in life in general over fat ass's. Its harsh but true :( Its not just the women but Guys too.

I am expecting a ruthless Joe when he gets back, it seems that they are trying to make everyone lose wieght.. but Abyss! WTF.. hell even Hall has lost a lot of weight too. Why is Abyss aloud to be mr. Pudgy mcSlow ass? I think this actually helps Joe as his return will mean more.

At least there not releasing him ala Daniels.. it seems like TNA has some idea with what they want to do with Joe and that is something we should be happy about. :)

i think a Joe's repackaging can do wonders, bring him back as a monster face and keep him in the upper midcard for a while, what he needs is a slow build up to the top, re-introduce him at a live Impact! but first put a heel as the Global champion (i'd say Wolfe), Joe challenges him to a title match for the next PPV, then he wins and retains the title for a while, that would add a lot of value to the belt, then drop it to some worthy heel at the end of the year, have a couple rematches, lose them, the last one with the interference of some main event heel like Anderson or Morgan and then start a major feud, build it up, end it and go back to the world title picture at the midle of next year eventually winning it at Slammiversary or BFG...
