VOICE - MOST UNAPPRECIATED ATTRIBUTE IN WRESTLING

Bill Lesnar

Occasional Pre-Show
Bill Lesnar just said Coach and Bischoff.

Coach is along with JR, Bill Lesnars favourite commentator ever. He had that voice that unexplainabley works. That's something JBL lacks, and the reason that JBL's commentary can be a little tiring and Cole struggles to make things epic. Currently WWE are testing out commentators like Saxton because they desperately need a new voice. A shame because they had one with Coach.

Same for Bischoff, his voice made everything epic and was one of the best GM's in WWE history. Bill Lesnar said it was his voice that made everything work. His voice was what defined him and stands out in every video package that he features in. Infact, all the best video packages feature his voice. John Laurenitis was the exact opposite, as his voice is the worst I've heard from any non wrestler. Its a shame Bischoff is no longer on WWE television, because he makes every segment better just by talking.

Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose will never be top stars because they don't have good voices. They have everything else (look, skills, charisma) but you need a good voice. Bill Lesnar would say it's the most important thing for any wrestler. Bill lesnar thought many of CM Punk's promo's were hit and miss, however he had a great voice that would overshadow the content.

Bill Lesnar can only think of Shawn Michaels as an example of a wrestler who made it with a bad voice.
