I think Vince will just sit and watch these guys make an ass of themselves for the amuesment, and then when vince gets tired will shut tna up for good.
How will he shut them up? His best move would be to ignore them. He won't even pursue a lawsuit because TNA has the funds to go ten rounds in a court with him and it would just give TNA the publicity they're looking for. Vince can't shut up anything at this present day. Given the current creative choices of his own product, it's a damned miracle the old cook can even tie his own shoes. Vince needs to worry about righting his own ship and fixing the holes in the f***er before he should even think about going against another company. It's nearly as cartoony in the WWE as when WCW almost blasted his ass into bankruptcy.

yeah the wwe is not responding and i dont think they will. After watching what vkm did on tonights impact it makes them look like a dx rip off. Throwing eggs at a target just trying to be like dx only they faild horribly at it.
I don't know if you're aware...but VKM was actually DX to begin with. They helped a sinking ship of an angle gain renewed steam and helped resuscitate a dead tag team scene in 1998 and 1999. Besides, DX as a whole is just an NWO ripoff. The only difference being that Shawn Michaels humped flags and flashed his ass on Raw, whilst they had a yoked-up she-male with Jay Leno's chin as a manager.

You all need to understand that Vince is the king of this shit as far as the general public and the average wrestling mark is concerned. Why would he make a deal of any of this? Or even let people know he ever heard about it? He will not give TNA that publicity. Saying the initials TNA and letting people know its an alternative would give TNA some new fans. It would be completely stupid on Vince's part.

Its the same thing here. Vince says TNA and he makes them famous. As things stand right now, most people dont have a fkn clue who or what TNA is.
This is exactly why McMahon is dominating the business. There isn't a competitor with the means to go head-to-head with him at the moment. As much as I like TNA, and as much as they keep progressing, they've a long way to go before they can sqaure off with WWE in a meaningful fashion. Vince's policy is to ignore them. This is why the host of Byte This dodged TNA calls like the plague. His best bet is to reinvigorate his own company so that TNA can't gain a foothold. Thankfully for TNA, he's doing the exact opposite right now.

HBK was never even in DX when The New Age Outlaws BACKED UP Triple H. They suck and I honestly think Vince doesn't even anticipate TNA's ability to grow to his level. He doesn't make a big deal about Monty Brown jumping over, he never mentions anything to do with TNA. IF VKM show up Vince won't acknowledge it at all. The one thing he might do is use his brain and create a real life counter to them to litterally make their "invasion" pointless. Liek he might find out about it and completly prevent them from getting footage.
Triple H wasn't nearly as over at Michaels' departure as everyone would like to believe. He was still fighting midcard battles in those days and DX was primed to sink like a stone when he left. Xpac and NAO saved it. Xpac with his post-NWO credibility and in-ring talent, and NAO for their promos (which DX still borrows from to this day) and their in-ring ability. Triple H only got further up the card because he increased his steroid use and began humping Stephanie. That and Michaels wasn't in the picture to prohibit his advancement. It's funny, because the whole concept of invading another promotion's show was done by DX on Raw with the VKM members participating. This is a monster Vince and Co. helped create.

Oh ya, I'm not saying The New Age Outlaws were not huge in creating DX's most popular period but HBK had nothing to do with the promotion for pretty much their entire run. He was gone wearing a cowboy hat and training Brian Kendrick. So why are they so choked at Michaels? Also a true faction has one or two main eventers and a supporting cast of "henchmen" to give them support. VKM is as much in Trips' league as Paul Roma or Mongo McMicheals is in Ric Flair's.

This whole thing is pointless. Yes, VKM has legit heat with DX and WWE...BUT, the best way to get their message across isn't rehashing an old angle. Seriously, maybe they should try something different...like putting on decent matches and proving why WWE sucks, instead of whining because they were let go and forced into wrestling oblivion.

though im a diehard TNA fan, i have to admit this angles intentions are a bit lame. they need to let go of the past and move on.

but..
.. on the other hand, the stuffs pretty funny. anyone that says they didnt laugh at that "Target" spot is straight out lying to you.

my only real problem with the angle is the name change. The James Gang was fine, the intro music was cool. why change it up? why not just add the new ingredient into the pot, instead of making a whole new dish?

final thought: maybe this IS a good thing. ive never really enjoyed either one of them actually wrestling.

Michaels wouldn't let them into the group during his run, this is why they're pissed at him. It was only after he left with his shiny, new back injury that they were forced into the angle due to McMahon's lack of options. This was because Triple H was only a midcarder at best and the group would've folded overnight if they didn't come in with X-pac and save his ass. This is also why directly after this, he juiced to the gills and became a physical specimen overnight. Vince knew he needed a superstar to one day plug the gap and his future son-in-law was a prime candidate, but wasn't nearly over enough to fill Michael's void. At the time that Triple H made his ascension to the upper-echelon of the WWF, Gunn was set to have a singles push (hence his KOTR win). The NAO gimmick was over and each one of those guys were household WWF names. All of a sudden, overnight almost, WWF balked at having Gunn do anything more than the KOTR win (likely do to HHH having the boss' ear). The tag team division had been strengthened to where DX wasn't needed anymore at that point, but still they were kept together. Remember, anyone gets over if they're rammed down the throats of the average goon paying for an overpriced ticket. Hell, look at Batista and Cena. Pretty Paul was a solid worker, Mongo wasn't. Read a little bit about Ric Flair's first tenure in the WWF on Bret Hart's website and you'll understand why they shitcanned him in 1993. He's a routine man who's not half as good as people believe him to be, and he got stuck in matches numerous times while turning his matches into a fake circus. Hell, I'd be that great if I was spoonfed titles and performed the same match for twenty years every night and relying on chops and yelling "whoo!" to keep the fans awake.
