Vince not a Boliever

The Butcher

📶
Just read that Vince McMahon had "lost interest in" Bo Dallas. It was credited to the Observer.

I loved Bo in NXT. Seems like a lot of the NXT guys and gals aren't making the smoothest transition to the main roster, though, and that's a pity.

I found it unusual that he lost to R-Truth so nonchalantly a few weeks ago; I like his gimmick and was enjoying his push.

While I was entertained, at the end of the day, I guess he's no better than other midcard acts. Hope he stays in there, though.

Gonna have to call bullshit on that. He got an awesome new vignette on Smackdown. And he hasn't been sent back to NXT, like Adam Rose once Vince got sick of him. Bo is doing just fine.

Edit: Also, Bo got time for another epic promo.

Yeah the loss was kind of out of nowhere, but it was bound to happen. A guy misses one show & people start talking about how the gimmick is failing or he isnt liked by management.

I dont think Bo is in danger.

Could very well be BS, I dunno. It is a legit Observer report, though.

Bolievers are coming out of the woodwork on Twitter, and a funny conspiracy theory about Kevin Dunn sabotaging Triple H's guys is out there too.

God bless the Internet Wrestling Community.

Is this some sort of set up for Vince McMahon to return to TV and have Bo Dallas tell him to "Bolieve" in his potential? Bo Dallas character lacked direction from the moment he made his debut, which can't be true, because according to The Observer, NXT rookies will only be called up if the company does have a long story for them.´

Bo Dallas v. Sheamus for the US title could be nice. Bo does have that kind of face that would make me disgusted the minute he got the upper hand on the babyface and just smiled at the crowd. The little prick.

A shame if it's true. Bo really grew on me and has become one of my favorite parts of raw lately. Makes me laugh and puts Barrett's trolling to shame.

I can believe that conspiracy. Apparently Kevin Dunn is an asshole.

HHH is going to defend his product and his boys. And he's right. They succeeded in NXT. As soon as they hit the main roster, they flounder. It's not his product that is failing. It's something else.

NXT has made wrestlers that are popular with a hard core audience. They move up and the hard core still love them, but none of them have connected with the wider audience. This should be obvious, because nobody who has moved up, Dallas included, has remotely looked like they were going to be a big deal. If you want to see how well the WWE handles a potential mover and shaker, see how they handle Sami Zayn's promotion to the main roster.

I buy Kevin Dunn sabotaging HHH guys. As soon as the old man croaks, Dunn is future endeavored.

Bo had grown on me so much. A hundred times better than his original roster debut and with a distinct character. Gets good reactions, whether boos or cheers. Could go on to do well as a heel if they let him.

My favourite boment so far.

Have you seen Dallas's tiny bit of flab on his stomach? Vince can't fap to anything less than a 69 pack abs.

There's a pretty significant counterexample to this: Bray Wyatt. Undoubtedly a character conceived in NXT, barely - if at all - altered since his time in NXT, and has connected with a wider audience and is a pretty big deal. Despite an overlong John Cena feud.

One could make the argument for Seth Rollins as well, although his character has always been significantly different to the one he played in NXT.

That actually illustrates my point quite well - Bray Wyatt is obviously more charismatic than all of the others and his character is far more likely to cross over with kids.

Kids spend their whole day being patronised and spoken too like they're idiots by people that they are supposed to respect - there is absolutely no way that they will see Bo Dallas as a heel, the joke is totally lost on them.
