Brains vs Brawn - Single match
Haku Vs the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase

DiBiase had the match in control with a sound strategy of working the head and neck of the big Tongan until, after 10 minutes; he tried to lock in the Million Dollar Dream. It was a decision which turned the match. Haku fought out of it before locking in the Tongan Spike which the founder of Money Inc fell to.

General Manager Stephanie McMahon announces that next weeks show will have a huge main event. It will feature the unsuccessful two wrestlers who get to the end of tonight’s Battle Royal for the IPW World Heavyweight Championship. The man who wins the belt tonight will be given the opportunity to choose the stipulation of that event.

Tag Team Title Match – Tornado Tag rules
Kings of Wrestling w/ Sara del Ray and Larry Sweeney Vs The Eliminators

In a brutal match dominated by the Eliminators inside and out the ring, it was the manager Larry Sweeney who proved the difference. With Hero lined up for Total Elimination, Sara Del Ray climbed the apron to distract the referee and Sweeney pushed Hero out of way to make his charge avoid Total Elimination. He takes it instead. Immediately following the diversion, Hero takes out Kronus with the Hero's Welcome and Castagnoli rolls up Saturn for the win.

Light-Heavyweight Talent Showcase (Ultimate X for future title shot)
Jushin Thunder Liger, Petey Williams, KENTA, Tiger Mask
At the end of this spectacular match, the Light Heavyweight title picture is not much clearer.

As Petey Williams hit the devastating Canadian Destroyer on Tiger Mask, Liger nailed KENTA with a Liger bomb. The race up the Ultimate X structure did not separate them either as both men claimed the X simultaneously.

This brought out GM Stephanie McMahon, who announced a 4 man tournament to take place over the next two IPW shows to crown an IPW Light Heavyweight Champion. Shortly after this announcement, Williams hits another Canadian Destroyer on Liger and raised the X himself to signify his intentions in this division.

9 Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal to crown IPW World Heavyweight Champion:

This match will be remembered as one of the most rambunctious in wrestling history. Chaos reigned throughout and the shockwaves of which could be felt for months.

It was already announced that Shawn Michaels and Abyss would be entering first and second. But it was The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase who came out first. Clearly suffering from the match he had with Haku earlier in the night, he was determined to join the commentary as scheduled and lend his enlightened opinion.

The early match was a brawl with Abyss taking early charge. The big man thought he had HBK eliminated on a couple of occasions.

The introduction of Andre the Giant at three provided a completely different challenge for the monster Abyss. And the IPW debut of American Dragon Bryan Danielson at number 4 did not abate the Giants’ rampage. But at number 5, Yokozuna appeared. The two giants went at it and it looked like the Japanese legend had Andre teetering on the ropes. Only when the other five entrants joined in, were they able to eliminate a giant. But it was Yokozuna.

It was here when the pandemonium really began. ‘Zuna climbed back in the ring and ran roughshod through HBK, Abyss and Bryan Danielson as well as new entrants Mick Foley (6) and Samoa Joe (7). He reserved special punishment for Andre though, splashing him in the turnbuckle and a Banzai Drop. He was then dragged through the ropes to the outside where the assault continued. Andre was left bleeding on the outside, clearly unable to continue

Back in the ring, Edge joins the match as the final entrant at number nine and he hits Abyss and Danielson with spears before seeking out HBK, who meets him with Sweet Chin Music.

Haku comes out armed with a steel chair and despite him being an illegible entrant, he enters the ring. DiBiase bricks it at ringside but is laughing out loud as Haku attacks Mick Foley and Abyss

Shortly after this, eighth entrant Mike Awesome powerbombed Abyss through the announcers table from just inside the ring. However this incredible show of strength means he drops his guard and that leads to him getting suplexed out of the ring in a joint effort by Danielson and Samoa Joe.

This leaves four entrants, Michaels, Edge, Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson.

Danielson reverses a Muscle Buster attempt into Cattle Mutilation near the corner. Michaels counters an Irish Whip by Edge with a flying forearm. Michaels nips up just as Danielson releases the submission and sends Danielson flying over the top rope with Sweet Chin Music. That leaves three in the ring.

Two of these three fight next week as announced by Stephanie McMahon earlier.

Edge tries to land a spear on HBK who sidesteps him. Edge flies through the second rope to the floor. Joe traps HBK in a drop toe hold and cinches in an STF. HBK taps but to no avail. Joe releases the hold and drags a weakened Michaels up for a Muscle Buster. Michaels fights it and ends up having a fistfight with Joe which he loses. Joe goes again for a Muscle Buster but HBK headscissors Joe and drags him over the top rope.

Joe crashes to the floor and HBK skins the cat and celebrates. DiBiase gets up from his commentary position and grabs a mic. He tells HBK that he did great, but not good enough.

DiBiase climbs in the ring, reminding Michaels that everyone has their price. He then tells Shawn to turn around.

HBK walks right into a chair shot by Edge. Edge drags up a slumped HBK and Dibiase nails with a shot from the Million Dollar Belt.

HBK is unconscious. DiBiase and Edge pick him up and dump him over the top rope.

Edge is the new IPW World Heavyweight Champion, thanks to the Million Dollar Man.

Stephanie comes out and the Corporate Alliance stands triumphantly in the middle of the ring.

As they both try to grab them both, Benjamin climbs another ladder positioned right to the side of Haas and unloads on London until Kendrick runs up the ladder Benjamin is perched on and he too unloads on Benjamin causing him to fall off the ladder to the floor below! Athleticism vs. Violence

Low Ki vs. Sabu

After losing to Taz in an IPW TV Title match, Low Ki was given a “special challenge for special talents” - an opportunity to use his strict martial arts prowess against the sick game plan of the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal Sabu. Never one to back down from a challenge, Low Ki accepted, promising to take out one of the former ECW’s most durable athletes in what was sure to be a horrific match.

***

Low Ki was thirsty for action early on, taking the fight to Sabu with a quick pace, a clear attempt to show that the superiority lay with his youth and pure athleticism, hard kicks and assorted strikes knocking slobber all over the canvas. However, his initial downfall came in trying to introduce weapons before his opponent could - tossing a steel chair at Sabu only to have it tossed back in his face as he ran at him. Blood was quickly spilled, and the permanent grimace on the soon battered Low Ki’s face was testament to his regret for his mistake. Eventually and somewhat inevitably, the warrior was set up on a table hanging between the ring and the rail, Sabu attempting to drive him through it with a leg drop. He managed to move out the way just in time, sending Sabu through the table on his lonesome. A shocking Warrior’s Way through the remnants of the table spelled the end.

Ultimate X for No. 1 Contender Spot

The Latin American Xchange w/ Konnan vs. The Hardy Boys

As LAX pointed out, the winners between the Briscoes and AMW, as in the new tag team champions, would need challengers to fill the gap. What’s the use in holding back the Latin revolution? As Paul Heyman pointed out, there was none, but they were going to have to go through the newly debuting Team Xtreme if they wanted it. To make such a match even more enticing, he added that the match would be an Ultimate X match, metal structure-style. High spots, low spots and everything-in-between spots - this match was bound to have them all

***

The match started out a blistering pace, all four contestants climbing the scaffold straight away, meeting in the middle and tumbling back down to the mat shortly thereafter. It would seem the Xchange had a big advantage, using their environment intelligently, their durability and versatility serving them well against the nearly one-trick Hardys. It was only the never say die attitude of the brothers that kept them in it in the early going, although it became significant when they finally gained the advantage - Homicide was tossed to the outside, Konnan received a baseball slide to the face and Hernandez was left to hold his own, which he did… to an extent. The big man was eventually set up on a table outside, Matt keeping him on it as Jeff sacrificed his own body, leaping off the scaffolding and taking out two of the four participants in the process. Homicide was waiting for the saner Hardy as he entered the ring, immediately going for the Gringo Killah. Matt, however, reversed it and kicked his opponent into the corner, before clambering up the scaffolding quickly. The two fought atop it and grabbed the briefcase held there simultaneously, only a Twist of Fate which bounced Homicide from the X separating the two.

War Machine vs. Animal

Rhino vs. Batista

A newly recruited Batista claimed dominion over all other wrestlers, biblical style, saying he was the most ruthless, animalistic athlete there was in IPW. A certain other man beast took exception and, well, they’ve been tearing chunks out of each other ever since.

***

The larger Batista took the fight to Rhino early on, but the latter’s intelligent use of leverage kept him in it. It wasn’t too long before both were busted open. The tide truly turned when Batista went for a spear into the steel stairs, only to be turned onto them and have a spear performed on him in return. Batista was battered from pillar to post from that point on, although Rhino’s blood lust couldn’t be sated. And early end to the match occurred when the War Machine introduced a steel chair.

(By DQ) Batista

Rhino battered ‘Tista about the ring with a chair, before setting up a table in the corner and driving him through it, before delivering a Rhino Driver from the top rope.

IPW Tag Team Championship
Bar Room Brawl

The Briscoe Bros. © vs. America’s Most Wanted

After their previous brutal encounter, in which The Briscoes emerged victorious to become the first ever IPW tag team champions, Paul Heyman was only too pleased to grant AMW a rematch - only this time, they’d have control of the stipulation so as to even the odds. A Bar Room Brawl seemed the obvious choice.

***

The four battered each other in the early going, while also helping themselves to the various alcoholic beverages lying around ringside, before battering their opponents with the containers. That said, it was obvious blood would be spilled early - and so it was, both teams bleeding, though Chris Harris had the worst of it, a copious amount of claret pouring out of him and down his chest, trapping him in the metaphorical crimson mask. Definitely at least a 0.9 on the Muta Scale. Storm was left on his own with the two brothers as Harris recuperated on the outside. The two tore him apart; it was double team moves galore and the crowd loved it. Harris, however, came out of nowhere, still wearing the crimson mask but also wielding a beer keg which he used to take the Briscoes apart, as Storm sneakily set a table up on the outside. It looked like this plan was going to backfire for a moment, Marc trying to throw the bloodied up Harris to the outside, only you have him skin the cat and throw the aggressor through the table instead. Meanwhile, Jay was unwittingly put into the Eye of the Storm and put down for the three count.

IPW Television Championship

Taz © vs. Rob Van Dam

A newly signed Rob Van Dam told Paul Heyman that he wanted to make an impact, two write history like he had in the old ECW. Heyman obliged, telling him that he had a title match with new Television Champion Taz. If he was going to make an impact, he was going to have every chance to.

***

Van Dam suffered in the early going and, as popular as Taz was, the crowd didn’t appreciate it. The Human Suplex Machine managed to get his opponent to the outside but there he fell victim to RVD’s lethal kicks and the match turned around, Van Dam using the environment around him to maintain his advantage. He managed to set Taz up on a table but, for the second time of the night, it was the agressor that ultimately was sent hurtling through it. A sneaky steel chair shot to face helped things along as well, before an irate crowd saw a broken RVD trapped and eventually choked out with a Tazmission.

IPW World Heavyweight Championship

Brock Lesnar © vs. CM Punk

After being cheated out of a title shot at the culmination of his feud with the cerebral assassin, Triple H, Punk finally got his title shot when he defeated Raven in a brutal match. However, he should have perhaps stayed well-hidden, as Lesnar didn’t appreciate the celebration of his new challenger, saying it didn’t matter who faced him - Kurt Angle and Triple H, two of the world’s best had fallen at his feet already, who did the straightedge superstar think he was, thinking he could topple the dominant champion?

***

The match started of slowly, the challenger less eager to lock up than the champion, likely due to the obvious size advantage. Punk made the best of being able to avoid Lesnar, hitting sneaky kicks and strikes, but nothing that could do any lasting damage. Eventually, it became obvious that Punk’s agility advantage was in fact not very significant at all, as Lesnar caught him and proceeded to throw him about like a rag doll, winding and battering him. Despite this, Punk fought back valiantly, hitting a surprise Pepsi Plunge as Lesnar set him up on the top rope. It wasn’t enough to dethrone the resilient champion though - another kick out after a GTS showed that. Lesnar had a surprise of his own with an F-5 out of nowhere. It wasn’t enough to keep Punk down though. Shockingly, neither was another F-5. Out of frustration, Lesnar went to the outside in order to retrieve a steel chair. The official attempted to get in his way, but was pushed aside. He lifted the chair to smash Punk but received a kick to the gut, followed by a strong knee to the face and an Anaconda Vice. It seemed the champion was on the verge of tapping when Mr. Kennedy emerged from nowhere, grabbing the steel chair and smashing Punk around the head with it. The referee immediately called for the bell.

(By DQ) CM Punk

After the match, Kennedy continued to beat down on Punk, hitting a Green Bay Plunge onto the chair.

Hell in a Cell for No. 1 Contender Spot

The Undertaker vs. Triple H

Paul Heyman described The Undertaker as the biggest acquisition in company history after a shocking debut involving the deadman, but The Game had other things to say. According to the game, sore after his loss to heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker would never be as significant to professional wrestling as he was. Needless to say, the lights went out, came back on and he received a choke slam for his troubles. Demanding not be merely made an example of, he requested a match at the next pay-per-view, one named after the Phenom himself. Heyman told him he had been thinking similarly and it’d be the two of them headlining…inside the cell notorious with both men.

***

The crowd were hyped and not a single person was in their seat. That is, after both superstar’s overly long entrances. The two had a long, long stare down, The Game talking trash all the while. The place exploded as The Undertaker hit the first right hand and won the initial exchange. This was a sign of things to come, as he dominated in the early going, throwing Triple H about as if he were a child, and dumping him in to any solid objects he could find. A low blow later and the tables had turned, however, Triple H delivering right hands and some steel steps to the forehead, causing blood to spilled for the umpteenth time that evening. Getting them delivered back to him after Undertaker sat up caused him to bleed as well. As The Game scrambled away, The Undertaker signalled the end was near, locking his hand around the throat of his opponent, preparing for a choke slam. Unfortunately, Triple H was smart enough to deliver a kick to the abdomen and hit a surprise Pedigree. Both lay on the floor for a while unable to move, before a familiar figure made his way to ringside, urn in hand. It was Paul Bearer. The Undertaker eerily sat up. Moments later, Triple H did the same, looking on in bewilderment. Jumping up quickly, he went for a second Pedigree, only to be flipped over the top rope and soon through the door as well. In a desperate bid to flee, he ascened the cage, but was followed. He kicked at The Undertaker's hands desperately, but the Phenom could not be stopped. The two brawled and it looked as if Triple H had the upper hand as he went for another Pedigree only to have it reversed and bounce off the steel. The Undertaker delivered a kick to the gut and hit a Last Ride, only the cell gave way and The Game tumbled into the ring. 'Taker followed him down but, amazingly, Triple H kicked out of the ensuing pin. As he slowly clambered to his feet, seemingly only semi-conscious, The Undertaker scooped him up and delivered a Tombstone Piledriver on the ring steps left in the ring from earlier. The end wasn't near; it was the end.

The Undertaker

After the match, The Undertaker climbed the cell and posed triumphantly, while Paul Bearer rubbed his hands in glee, and the heavyweight champion appeared in order to observe his next opponent.

Luna sneaks back into the ring and hits a bulldog to Chyna, she heads to the top rope and delivers a Luna splash, Chyna down for the count: 1…2 Jazz makes the save; she pulls Luna up and hits the Snap DDT known as the Beat ‘Er Blues right onto the discarded steel chair, she rolls Chyna out of the ring, makes the cover on Luna! This one’s over One… Two… Three! Jazz is the champion, and just look at the wreckage! Molly still hasn’t moved amidst the table wreckage, and Luna is out cold, the referee hands her the championship, she snatches and makes her way to the outside towards Chyna; Chyna makes her way to her feet and Jazz runs at her and viciously knocks her out with the title! Wow! Some revenge for the beat down Chyna gave her at the start of the match! Jazz is not don’t though, she pulls Chyna to her feet and locks in her submission finisher the elevated double chicken wing known as the Bitch Clamp, Chyna is laid waste to and Jazz leaves with the title spitting and swearing to a wave of heel boos: Winner: JAZZ!

MATCH NUMBER 5: Eric Bischoff’s world title match: SID Vs Ken SHAMROCK

A video highlight of how these two took out Stone Cold to be rewarded with this match is showed, prior to the match, Eric Bischoff comes out with something to say,

“Well, we’re half way through the event and my, my, what an event it has been, not even I could have predicted this much drama in a wrestling show! But now lets get down to business, the next match you will see is for GWA’s true world heavyweight title, forget anything that rattlesnake son of a bitch tries to palm off as a legitimate world title, mark my words, Austin wont even show up to his math tonight! Ric Flair and Randy Savage will battle for the worthless title alone, and why? Because my boys took Austin out! And that’s where he’ll remain, taken out… Austin will never wrestle in the GWA again! I didn’t have to choose who I felt “worthy” of a title shot like Austin did, because my titles so important that these two earned the right to fight for it! So now without further ado, I will let the two greatest competitors fight it out for the GWA world title! Introducing Ken Shamrock… Ken Shamrock comes to the ring, Bischoff continues… And “Psycho” Sid!… Sid makes his way to the ring… Bischoff leaves… The ring announcer holds up the title that they will be fighting for:

This works as an incentive for Sid, he delivers a massive Boot to Shamrocks face to get the match started, he pulls Shamrock into a Powerbomb position, and this one could be over quickly, NO! Shamrock pushes Sid away and gets enough room to flip him over into an Arm Bar, good use of his MMA training there, Sid is too powerful to stay down though, and he literally rolls over onto Shamrock, lifts him up from off of the floor and delivers a back breaker! Brutal! He puts his foot into the neck of Shamrock and begins to choke him, he breaks this illegal hold after a referee 4 count… remember folks its 5 and he’s disqualified. He rolls Shamrock up and delivers a second Back Breaker, the fans collectively draw there breathe… Shamrock is getting killed here! Sid picks him up into the suplex position, he hold him up there for a good 15 seconds before dropping a massive brain buster! Cover, 1… 2… Shamrock kicks out at 2 and a half! From amidst the stunned silence a low “Shamrock, Shamrock!” chant begins, Sid pulls Shamrock to his feet, fires him off the ropes and scores a second Boot to the face, Shamrock does the 180 flip sell, Sid goes to the second rope and delivers a huge knee to the throat of Shamrock, Sid has never looked so impressive, another 2 count but Shamrock refuses to stay down. Sid grabs Shamrock by the throat and picks him right up and drops him on his feet, he looks as if he’s going for the chokeslam here! In desperation Shamrock begins to kick Sid in the mid section, the fans are now completely all for Shamrock, Shamrock drops to the floor and drop toe holds Sid, he follows through into his famed ankle lock! Shamrocks turned this one around, he has Sid in an ankle lock in the centre of the ring, and Sid begins to scream in pain! “SHAMROCK! SHAMROCK! SHAMROCK!” this one could be over, Sid slowly starts to pull himself towards the ropes, will he make it; all eyes are locked on the scene! Sid is SCREAMING! His hand looks poised to tap! HE GRABS THE ROPES AT THE LAST SECOND, Shamrock needs to keep up the momentum, he is stomping hard at the back and head of Sid, but Sid looks ready to get up, he no sells all the kicks from Shamrock and pulls him into a chokeslam, here it comes BAM! Shamrock down, surely he won’t kick out again, Sid puts a single foot on the chest of Shamrock… ONE… TWO…….. SHAMROCKS GOT HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES! WOW!! He will not stay down lightly; it shows how badly he wants the gold! Everyone is asking what the hell Sid has left in his locker to keep Shamrock down!? Well here seems to be the answer: Sid pulls Shamrock to the centre of the ring and locks in a cross face. Pain is etched on the face of Shamrock! The fans are trying to will him to the ropes but how can he possibly pull himself that far with Sid on his back!? Shamrock simply will not die! He is screaming! His face is red and sweat pours down his face… HE WILL NOT TAP! HE BITES HIS HAND SO THAT IT DOESN’T DROP, this is a real display of heart by Shamrock, the fans are won over, Shamrock still wont die but: my god, it seems as if he has passed out, the referee checks on him and then calls for the bell: SID IS THE GWA CHAMPION, but Shamrock would not die, Sid was Brutal! The Match was Brutal! This has been the match of the night!

Here comes the British Bulldog, he turned on Harry Smith earlier to a chorus of boo’s but now he’s back to save his Cousin and close friend Tom Billington? Storm runs up the ramp to try and head off Davey Boy Smith but is met with a huge forearm! Davey Boy now charges the ring! Hart shakes his head at him, “Don’t do it! The nature boy out next, these two stand in the ring facing each other, they have had one of the most bitter rivalries in wrestling history, they look to the entrance ramp to await Steve Austin, there is no crash, unfortunately Austin fans; Austin hasn’t made it due to the beating he took at the hands of Sid and Shamrock. The Road Warriors vs. Demolition

After months of claiming to be the most dominant team in professional wrestling, Demolition have wrecked havoc among the ranks of PWF. Allying themselves with Barry Windham, they've taken out the likes of Raven, Terry Funk and The Great Muta, claiming this the era of "Demolition Domination". Unbeknown to them, Shane McMahon has signed The Road Warriors to PWF, who have claimed to put an end to the era of "Demolition Domination" come their debut this Sunday.

The Road Warriors make their way to the entrance ramp to a deafening ovation, the crowd showing their support to the veterans. The match starts out with Hawk and Ax locking up, followed up by Hawk displaying his physical domination, throwing Ax onto his shoulders with ease, hitting a power slam. While The Road Warriors seemed to dominate the first half of the match with a combination of Power moves, Demolition took advantage of a steel chair to the head of Animal, splitting him open, laying out on the mat. This gave them a great advantage as the referee went to the outside to check on him, enabling Demolition to hit the Demolition Decapitation on Hawk. While Hawk managed a kick out on two count, he wasn't able to overcome the two on one assault, and after a series of double team moves, Ax managed to get the three count, making a rapid exit to the back.

Winners: Demolition

Dean Malenko vs. Ultimo Dragon

It was announced last week that Brian Pillman wouldn't be able to participate in tonight’s match due to unknown circumstances. Shane McMahon announced that the winner of tonight’s Dean Malenko vs. Ultimo Dragon match would advance forward to the Cruiserweight championship final to face the winner of next week's match where Brian Pillman will take on a yet to be named opponent.

The match starts off fast paced, with Dragon and Malenko trading a series of side headlocks and drop toe holds, both escaping with ease. Dragon manages to secure a Hammerlock, working on Malenko’s elbow and wrist. He spends several minutes working the arms, until Malenko manages to escape with a back-leg dropkick, sending Dragon through the middle ropes to the outside. The match seemed to be on a level playing field, until Malenko catches Dragon on the top rope, securing him safely on his shoulders, which allows him to deliver a powerful gut-buster from the top rope. Dragon surprisingly kick out, and upon getting to his feet, manages to catch Malenko for a suplex – only to be reversed by Malenko into a double underhook power bomb, which he then transitioned into a Texas Cloverleaf, leaving Dragon no option but to submit.

Winner: Dean Malenko

Barry Windham vs. Terry Funk (I Quit Match)

Terry Funk successfully, yet suprisingly defeated both members of Demolition in a handicap match two weeks ago, overcoming a stacked deck in the process. Funk then received a brutal beat down at the hands of both members of Demolition along with Barry Windham. Barry went on to assure Funk that he would have no chance of winning this Sunday, stating the odds would severely be 'stacked against him'.

The match starts out with a full-blown slugfest. Both Windham and Funk are hitting each other with left and rights, until Funk falls to the ground. Windham proceeds to stomp on Funk's chest repeatedly until Funk rolls out of the ring. Once again, they trade blows, this time on the outside. Windham winds up taking a brainbuster out on the concrete floor. Funk immediately goes for a chair and repeatedly hits Windham with chair shots to the upper body. Funk controls the next six or so minutes of the match, until Windham fights back with a surprise Implant DDT, leaving Funk with a bloody nose. Windham applies the Iron Claw, while Funk effortlessly tries to fight it off to no avail. Within the closing minutes of the match, Funk makes use of a baseball bat lying under the ring, swinging for Windham legs, taking him down in the process. Proceeding to constantly hit the defenceless Windham, Funk heads for the microphone, when out of nowhere, both members of Demolition jump him from behind. Demolition proceeds to set up a table in the ring, delivering the Demolition Decapitation to Funk through a table. Still writhing in pain from the baseball bat shots, Windham makes it to his feet, microphone in hand, and continuously hits Funk in the head with the microphone. Finally, Funk admits defeat by screaming the words 'I Quit'. Windham, along with Demolition celebrates their victory by delivering blows to Funk's head.

Winner: Barry Windham

Mr. Perfect vs. Ricky Steamboat
PWF Intercontinental Championship Match

A feud which has been brewing for months, Mr. Perfect has made it clear who he thinks the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time is - himself. Another man by the name of Ricky Steamboat thinks different. While it seemed Perfect would go out of his way to avoid any contact with Steamboat, he took full advantage of sneak attacks, making sure Steamboat would lose his spot to face Perfect in the title tournament finals. Things turned sour for Perfect last week when Shane McMahon announced Mr. Perfects opponent this Sunday - "The Dragon", Ricky Steamboat!

Upon Steamboats arrival, in a not so surprising turn of events, Mr. Perfect clearly wanted an advantage walking into this match, attacking Steamboat from behind before the match starts. Having pounded Steamboat on the outside for a good three minutes, he finally throws him into the ring, where the referee proceeds to ring the bell.

Once the bell rings, Perfect wastes no time using the ring ropes to his advantage. Locking Steamboat in a kneebar, he leaps up, diving his knee to the inside of his leg, where he proceeds to stand on the turnbuckle, riling up the crowd. Perfect controls the first portion of the match, working on Steamboat's knee with a variation of leg locks and attacks. Upon applying a figure four leglock, Steamboat gains the crowds momentum, managing to reverse. Both men make it to their feet, and Steamboat delivers several arm drags followed by a body slam, and heads for the top rope. Upon climbing, he slips, falling off the turnbuckle. Again, Perfect takes advantage, and carries on working the legs. Steamboat makes it to the ropes, managing to lift himself up, hitting Perfect with a series of vicious double judo chops. The momentum carries on as he successfully delivers several dropkicks, but unsuccessfully gets a two count. As Steamboat looks ready to deliver another dropkick, he's caught by the ankle, where Perfect then successfully applies a sharpshooter. Writhing in pain, Steamboat barely makes the ropes, breaking the submission. Eventually, he gets hit by a Perfect-Plex, but in a surprising turn of events, the pin was reversed, with the referee delivering the three count, declaring Ricky Steamboat the new champion. Perfect demands a recount, citing a fast count by the referee.

Winner: Ricky Steamboat

Sting vs. Kurt Angle

Both Sting and Kurt Angle lost their respective matches to advance to the finals in the PWF World Championship tournament. While Sting gave his comments on his loss, he was viciously attacked by Kurt Angle. Angle stated that Sting's time was up and that he doesn't have what it takes to be at the forefront of a wrestling organization anymore. He challenged Sting to a match two weeks ago, which Sting has since accepted.

Sting and Angle meet in the centre of the ring, staring each other down. The bell sounds, and both men lock up. Sting drags Angle to the corner of the ring and delivers a fury of blows to Kurt's upper body. Angle quickly reverses and delivers the same punishment to Sting. They trade a series of submissions, neither man seeming to weaken the other. Sting attempts to lock Angle in the Scorpion Deathlock, which is reversed with ease. Angle attempts an Anklelock, which Sting also reverses with ease. With neither man seeming to gain a clear advantage, they stare each other down, and lock up again.

Angle takes control of the match with a series of clotheslines, which lead up to three German suplexes. After an unsuccessful pin, he places Sting on the turnbuckle, setting him up for a superplex. Sting reverses, throwing Angle down to the mat face first. Sting hits a diving crossbody, which leads up to another Scorpion Deathlock attempt. Again unsuccessful, he sets Kurt up in the corner for a Scorpion Splash. After two splashes, Kurt catches Sting with the third, and hits a overhead belly to belly suplex. While Angle controls the next five minutes, Sting makes several attempts to overpower Kurt but to no avail. The match then spills to the outside, with Sting gaining a clear advantage. After several near count outs, they take it back to the ring. After another Stinger Splash attempt, the referee gets caught up in the action. He winds up being knocked out. After several failed attempts to revive the ref, Sting and Kurt once again brawl on the outside. After several minutes, the referee comes to, and realising that Kurt and Sting are brawling halfway up the ring, decides to ring the bell, resulting in a double count-out.

Winner: Draw

Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit
PWF World Heavyweight Championship

After both men succeeded to the finals in the PWF World Championship tournament, both have stated they respect each other greatly, but neither will take this match easy. Chris Benoit will be going into this match with a slight advantage due to a lingering arm injury Bret Hart sustained several months ago.

Upon entering the ring, both men shake hands in a sign of respect. Both men lock up, Hart applies a headlock to Benoit who quickly reverses and takes Bret down with a shoulder block. Benoit lands a few back elbows to Hart's injured arm, and tries to lock in the Crippler Crossface, but to no avail. Both men back to their feet, resulting in another lock up. Neither man gains a clear advantage for the next six - seven minutes, until Benoit goes to work on Hart's injured arm, locking in several armbar variations.

With no clear sign of Hart willing to submit just yet, Benoit hits three consecutive belly-to-belly shoulder breakers, leaving Hart in pain. More elbows are delivered to the injured arm. Hart finally manages to gain enough momentum to roll Benoit up with a small package, but to no avail. Benoit takes the lead until Hart finally fights back with a slingshot crossbody. Hart manages to hit a succession of three suplexes, resulting in a superplex from the top rope. Hart pins for the two count. The match remains pretty even for the remainder of the match, with Hart working on Benoit's back and Benoit working on Hart's arm. Benoit manages to lock in a few Crossfaces, but Hart manages to writhe his way to the ropes. Hart also manages to hit Benoit with a spike piledriver, to which Benoit shows some obvious pain due to past injury. The match comes to an end once Hart manages to lock in a Sharpshooter which Benoit manages to fight off until his back gives way, resulting in Benoit tapping out, declaring Bret Hart the new PWF World Heavyweight Champion!

Winner: Bret Hart

Didn't you mention in another thread that we would be able to see who votes for who, to make sure people aren't voting for themselves?

Maybe you should delete this thread and make a new one Sam, making the poll visible to everybody.

Hi, I'm Disco Inferno. I'll be taking over for the next day or so. I think I'll leave the thread as it is...for now. Fizzle, I'm shocked and appalled. I'll discount your vote if it makes a difference.

So we are not allowed to vote for ourselves? Okay, make sure Fizzles vote is discounted and to have an adm. check it to make sure it stays fair.

Yeah, but everybody would vote for themselves though, it might make it fairer then the people not in it would decide the outcome though, maybe next round, but its too late to allow that now.

Can they see? A forum I administrate won't even let the admins see who's voted for what option in a non-public poll.

I feel so bad for voting for myself, i havent felt this bad since i accidently walked out of a shop in a hat i tried on, I dident realise until I was on the bus and I couldent go out for a week at risk of being arrested, I am so sorry guys

No, I didn't, Sam or Inferno, whatever the hell you want to be called, make sure you check at the end though, I want this thing to be fair!
