US title match main eventing over WHC match at Night of Champions

There has been some speculation on which Seth Rollins' match at Night of Champions will actually main event the show. While most would figure that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Sting would end the show, that doesn't appear the be the case according to the Wrestling Observer.

They speculate that Rollins' match against John Cena will most likely close the show.

Night of Champions takes place on September 20, 2015, at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. We will be providing live play-by-play coverage of the event.

Fuck off Cena with your backstage politicking.. enough is enough already. there's absolutely no reason why he should go on last; it makes no sense. It devalues the WWE world heavyweight championship. Sting vs Rollins sounds like a much better main event than Rollins vs Cena #10. Having Cena overcome the odds again at the expense of Sting main eventing is just ******ed.

You have no idea what John Cena wants or what he is doing to get it. You don't even know whether or not this news is truem

enough is enough already. there's absolutely no reason why he should go on last; it makes no sense.

There may be reasons for it:

1. Sting isn't capable of having a main event quality match
2. There are storyline implications that have to be flushed out in this way
3. Sting may not want the top spot
4. WWE hates you

It devalues the WWE world heavyweight championship.

For one night. Then we all forget and move on.

Sting vs Rollins sounds like a much better main event than Rollins vs Cena #10.

Not sure if true. We are talking about a 56 year old.

Having Cena overcome the odds again at the expense of Sting main eventing is just ******ed.

I know you are not old enough to gamble but Rollins would be the one overcoming the odds if he is really fighting for the second time for a title in one night.

I heard John Cena is going to make Sting wear a John Cena mask for his match, and the announcers are going to have to call him John Cena, and after Cena Cena Cena, then Cena Cena.

I can't wait until Cena wins HIS belt back. That scrub Rollins doesn't deserve the title. I think Cena should hold all of the belts including the Divas and the tag belts. Because he's that great. I hope he never leaves us. All hail our lord and savior, John Cena.

Not even Cena fans would want to see the same match for the 10th time.. Sting is a much fresher opponent for Rollins

You're really not giving Cena any credit for what was an amazing match at Summerslam, are you?

Sting's 56; God bless the guy, but he just isn't the same Sting. Did you forget how much chicanery they needed to fit in during his Wrestlemania match?

Khali and Seth Rollins would be a fresh matchup; doesn't mean I want it headlining my PPV

Leaving this match order question out of this completely...

I can't believe that some of you are actually speculating that Rollins and Sting's match at the PPV is going to be anything less than awesome. You aren't giving either man NEARLY enough credit. While it may end up being on the short side for a PPV World Title match, I see it as a "can't miss" as far as delivering goes.

Doesn't matter really which match goes first or last, there is no doubt all three men will put on two matches worth watching.

Rollins has to be in the first and last matches if you think about it. They can't have him going back to back for the US and the World Title. So which one would be the better match. I think both will. Cena always rises to the occasion, Rollins will pace himself and Sting will outdo himself. Looking forward to both and I'm not concerned who goes first.

Don't get your panties in a bunch, I highly doubt Cena/Rollins will headline over Sting/Rollins, especially if it's a World title match. The only way this will happen is if they have something big planned for the US title match that must end the show.

Also, they wouldn't give that match away by having it first. Sting is not going to win the WWEWHC in the first match of the night, so if that match does go first, than I'll agree with your sentiment.

Yes, the match was great, but it's extremely hard to give Cena credit when he's constantly shoved down our throats by the WWE AND his apologists

Which of the following is the reason(s) that Crocker made this thread?

A) Crocker is truly so stupid that he'd actually believe this "report"

B) Crocker just wanted an excuse to talk about John Cena because he was going through withdrawal

C) All of the above

D) WWE has spent most of their recent Raw main events building up Rollins/Sting only to give them an opening match for the WHC

I mean it's clearly D, right everybody?

Guys? Anybody?

I don't have time for this. I'm too busy trying to figure out how strong Ryback looks so I can decide if he is not as strong, as strong, or stronger than that.

This is important shit.

Sting is old as hell, and old people like to go to bed early. Cena will be a little late getting to the arena, because he'll be out to dinner with Crocker's mom.

Your just a show!.....which I wanna see...;)

Crocker is is ridiculous for his little rant here but

A. So many other people complain when the WWE title is in the main event.
Mostly when it's Cena matches taking that spot, because they always have to push Cena and give him the main event and shit.

B. When people complained about The Undertaker and Brock going on last and so many people complained about the Undertaker's age and how they were sure he could put on a good match because of it there were many people there to dispel that theory, because just because he's old doesn't mean he can't still put on a good main event.

Mostly though, this is just a speculation. Why don't we wait until the match card is actually laid out and then see if there's even anything to be upset about?
