Tonight on Raw it was announced to the live audience that they have scrapped Bragging Rights to make way for wwe uprising. so with that said what are your thoughts on this?

do you like the idea of uprising and what do you think it will be about?
Are you disappointed with the change?

i for one am i liked bragging rights it was a good concept even if wwe only made it relevant leading up to the ppv and not at all during the rest of the year i still like it

What is the concept of Uprising? Its unlikely it'll be a PPV concept in which lesser established wrestlers face off against some of the main event guys. John Cena vs. Drew McIntyre ain't going to sell a PPV. But then again neither do a lot of other concepts WWE have done over the years.

Bragging Rights was a good idea, it just wasn't executed right. Instead of a silly 7-on-7 match WWE should simply have staged 3 or 5, single or tag, Smackdown vs. Raw matches. They should've also made the victory seem like a big idea, it wouldn't take much to have had the trophy in Teddy Long's office each week and for him to bring it up on the rare occasions a Raw superstar appeared on his brand.

Whats the concept of Uprising? Its a good old pay per view, without any stupid gimmick. I don't know what to say about IWC, first they say that the Bragging Rights concept is shit, since these two brands are of the same company and they should not be competing against each other, I agree, now when WWE realizes that and pulls the plug off BR, you start moaning about it.
Uprising is a very strong ppv name, I'll delighted if doesn't carries a stupid gimmick with it. I hope they utilize a concept like Lethal Lottery, random tag teams of young superstars competing against each others, with the winning 4-5 teams wrestling in a Battle Royal to determine the no. 1 contender for the World Title. Ofcourse they could have the WWE championship and World Heavyweight Title defended on the card as well.

i Love the name of Uprising ... Bragging Rights was far to similar to Survivor Series ..
i think with the name they should possibly start building the youth movement more taking on established wrestlers and beating them Corre And Nexus would get over IMO feuding Against each other leading into the PPV as whos the dominant up and coming group of stars .

Basically I'm glad WWE ceased Bragging Rights, have them matches take place at Survivor Series, the only show RAW vs Smackdown will happen, maybe 3, 4 vs 4 matches (best of 3 series).

Uprising I love the name, and concept wise I believe it should be given the younger guys title matches have one marquee match like HHH/Undertaker to sell the show and the rest of the matches have the guys like Bourne, Kidd, Cara, Bryan bid for the belts.

Good thing Bragging Rights is gone. It could have been good if they actually built it up, but they didn't.

Uprising is a bit cliche, but at least it isn't something like "REDEMPTION" which is seen constantly everywhere for various fighting/wrestling type events.

I don't know.. why did WWE think it was a good idea to get rid of alot of their old ppv names? All the "new" ppv's just aren't good.. when I hear the name Uprising, i just can't help but think of WCW's crappy names towards the end of their company.. "New Blood Rising" or "Greed"

If the Survivor Series is going to be “Bragging Rights” themed, then I don’t mind the change. Uprising sounds interesting enough. I’m thinking it’s going to be “Old vs. New” themed. Maybe it will be WWE vs. NXT. Hopefully it will be all of NXT from season 1 all the way to the last season. Maybe it will be Raw, Smackdown, and Superstars vs. NXT, Tough Enough, and FCW. That could be something special.

WWE uprising sounds better as a ppv that bragging rights, let me explain why. Bragging rights was basically Survivor Series no2, so why have two ppvs with the same concept? I don't know what uprising will have for concept but it has to be better than Bragging rights.

I'm interested into seeing what happens at the PPV for sure. Any gimmick matches or concepts or whatever.

I won't be surprised if we have "Uprising" by Muse as the PPV theme.

I didn't have a problem w/ Bragging Rights I liked the concept of Smackdown vs. RAW it was cool, but I do agree it was too close to Survivor Series being a month a part & w/ the whole 7 on 7 match being like a traditional Survivor Series match up, maybe the should combine Survivor Series w/ Bragging Rights some how going back to the original concept having every match be a Survivor Series elimination match mixing RAW & Smackdown wrestlers together to win as a team.

I do agree that maybe Uprising should bring back the lethal lottery from the old WCW days mixing different pairings of wrestlers to make some unlikely alliances then have the winners face of in a battle royal & the winner become the #1 contender for either title.

Uprising means when a group of people attack other people in power and want to change the ways in how things are run so a can see it being the same as bragging rights but it might have to do with the company changing or chris jericho returning to vs orton or cena or batista returning to do same or is it undertakers start to his final road to wrestle mania

I think that it will be a way to give superstars a chance at a title of which they have never held before. That would be a good concept. Imagine John Morrison/Dolph Ziggler going for the WWE title against the reigning champ. Or cody rhodes/sheamus going for the world heavyweight title. I would buy that pay per view.

I like the idea. Bragging rights isn't really needed anyway, especially when Survivor series is already there. I expect it will be about building up new people by beating the older guys given the name 'uprising'.

I'm disappointed with this change. I liked the Bragging Rights concept, even though WWE ignore the brand extension for far too much of the year. Champion VS Champion matches, Raw VS Smackdown tag team elimination, and then perhaps an I Quit or Last Man Standing match to main event it. Bragging Rights can work if they put effort into it. I have no idea what Uprising could possily be. I think it will flop like Breaking Point unless they can think of something good to center it around due to it sounding too generic at the moment.

Stupid, bragging rights could have been fuckin badass if done correctly, alas, we get another show were nothing happens, like Over Teh Limitz.


Uprising? Sounds like a nothing show, already. At least BR at the oppurtunity to be built as something good.
