POTENTIAL MATCH RULES:

1) No Finishers are allowed
2) Must use opponents' finisher to end the match
3) "Code of Honor" match

It has been a stellar year for Theron Daggershield, racking up an impressive winning streak and win/loss record for 2015. He took down the ferocious Beard, a menacing figure in WZCW before taking on the Cerberus faction, defeating all three members that resulted in winning his first-ever championship, the Eurasian title. The title win didn't stop his momentum though as Theron continues to tear through the competition and is quickly becoming the man to beat.

Chris K.O., the challenger, earned his opportunity at the Eurasian title after getting involved in a rivalry against a bitter James Howard who pretended to befriend Chris in an attempt to revitalise his career. In their final match - one voted by the fans - Chris managed to take down James Howard in a brutal Mayhem Rules match, winning a chance at the Eurasian title.

After being involved in some heavy battles, Chris & Theron came face-to-face and wished each other the best of luck, spawning the most friendliest rivalry heading into the Unscripted show. There two competitors wish to just be that: competitors, fighting for the glory of being the Eurasian champion. The stage is set, the stipulations were rolled and now the match is approaching: who will leave Unscripted the Eurasian champion?

Extended Deadline: RP's are due by Tuesday, June 23rd, at 11:59PM CST. Soft extensions only (no 24 hour extensions)

The scene begins with a man in his mid-forties. He is a wearing a brown suit that compliments his brown comb-over and mustache.

Man: This week, on the History Channel, we celebrate WZCW’s 100th year anniversary with a week long tribute. Tonight, we will look back at some of the more ill-equipped superstars to have graced the ring. We’ll start with one of the worst, Chris K.O..

In the early beginnings of WZCW, Chris seemed prime to take his spot among the legends of the company. However, his career came crashing down when he lost a EurAsian Title match against Theron Daggershield at Unscripted 7. Statistically speaking, that loss meant that K.O. had lost four out of the five EurAsian Title matches that he had in his career.

After the match, Theron Daggershield was quoted saying, “My grandma could wrestler better than Chris K.O..” As we all know, she did just that. Grandma Daggershield entered the WZCW one round after Unscripted 7 and went on to win 4 World Championships, 10 EurAsian Champions, 2 Elite X Championships, and become a 3 Time Tag Champion with her grandson.

Unable to ever move out of the mid-card, and unable to dominate the division in which he was stuck in, Chris fell apart. He would turn into a perennial jobber and rightfully took his place in the Hall of Jobbers alongside jobber-greats like Doug Crashin and Armando Paradyse. His manager, Steve the Volleyball, got connected in Hollywood and went on to be the highest-ever grossing box office star. His girlfriend, Astrid Kulman, left K.O. and eventually married another former WZCW Superstar, billionaire Justin Cooper.

With a deep gasp, Chris sits up from the bed he is lying in. He breathes heavily as he tries to come to the realization that he just experienced a very bad dream. Nightmare, if you will. Sweat beads down the forehead and bare chest of the WZCW superstar. Chris finally settles his breathing and looks over at the other side of the bed. Astrid is snuggled up under the blanket and is sleeping soundly.

Chris finds comfort in just seeing her there. However, he feels the urge to get out bed. Chris slips out of the covers and walks over to a sink. He passes a small cot that Steve the Volleyball is sleeping on, with a blanket covering half of him. The blue hue from the moon peeks through the curtains on the windows. A wider shot reveals that they are in a hotel room. Chris runs some water, and he lets it trickle down his right hand. Once his hand is fully soaked, he slides it down from his forehead to his bearded chin. He grabs his beard and lightly squeezes it as he drops his hand from his face. Chris looks in the mirror that is over the sink for just a moment.

He lets out a small breath before walking over to a desk in the room. On the desk is a laptop, small lamp, and the box of dice that Chris and Theron rolled for their stipulations. He takes a seat, clicks on the light, and then flips open the laptop. Chris quickly types and opens up YouTube. Chris searches, “Chris K.O. EurAsian Title Win”.

Meltdown 90 said:
Chris forces X to one knee with the chinlock, then to his stomach, and finally flat on his face. Chris releases the hold - only to transition to THE BURNING CRUSADE! X is down in the middle of the ring and he is unresponsive - Morse raises his hand once - it falls. He raises it once more - it falls! He raises it again!

IT FALLS!

K.O. releases the hold as Morse forces him off and the referee immediately begins to check on the unresponsive Triple X!

Harrys: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner....and the NEW WZCW EURASIAN CHAMPION....Chris K.O.!

K.O. gets to his feet unsteadily and Morse is handed the belt from outside. The referee raises his hand and places the championship belt in Chris's other hand as the new champion is breathing heavily, clearly exhausted and his victory only sinking in gradually.

???: Chris?

Chris jumps a little bit, but quickly realizes that the voice belongs to Astrid. Chris pauses the video and looks back at the bed.

Chris: Yeah, sorry. Was it too loud? Did I wake you?

Astrid rubs her sleepy eyes.

Astrid: A little bit. Why are you up?

Chris turns back to the laptop. He stares at the screen.

Chris: Sorry, I had weird dream. I was just looking up some stuff for my match. I’ll turn it down. Sorry, again.

Very slowly, Chris feels a set of hands slide past the sides of his stomach and wrap themselves around him. Astrid lays her head on the back of Chris' shoulder as she looks at the screen.

Astrid: You want to talk about it? The match, that is.

Chris ponders Astrid’s question as he reaches down and rubs her forearm.

Chris: Sure.

Astrid is somewhat taken back by the agreeing response, but she receives it.

Astrid: Okay.

Astrid steps back and sits on the bed that is close to the desk. Chris looks over at the box of dice and grabs it. He sets it in his lap as he spins his chair around to face Astrid.

Astrid: What’s going through your mind? The match? Stipulations? What's at stake?

Chris begins a mindless motion of picking up a handful of dice and then dropping them back in the box. Astrid patiently waits for him to open up.

Chris: I think there is a lot of superstars in the locker room that would feel pretty complacent if they were in my position. It’s been three years, and I’m still competing for the EurAsian Title.

Chris picks up a single die. He twiddles it in-between his fingers as he studies it.

Chris: Unlike the squared faces of this die, my career is completely angular. It runs in a circle shape... from Dragon to Daggershield…

Chris drops the single die back in the box. He then continues to grab and drop the dice.

Astrid: Do you feel complacent?

Chris hesitates for just a second.

Chris: No. Honestly, I feel grateful.

Astrid cocks her head in a curious look.

Chris: I remember winning the EurAsian Title at Meltdown 90. That first taste of gold is so euphoric. I can’t even describe it beyond that, but when you taste it, nothing else compares. Nothing else quite appeases your hunger for accomplishment in WZCW other than winning another championship. Hopefully one on equal or higher tier. It may not always be priority, but there is always that itch on the roof of your mouth. That hunger. That drive.

Chris stops grabbing the dice and puts the box up on the desk.

Chris: This is my chance to quench that taste. To appease that hunger. And this time it won’t be shrouded in the bitterness like it was almost two years ago. I can prove, as a better man, that I am just as good of a wrestler as when I was ruthless back then. Then, with some effort, courage, and a little luck, maybe I can eclipse my reign from back then. Maybe I can make people forget the man I was. Maybe I can be the EurAsian Champion that I always wanted to be.

Chris grows a smile of determination as he puts his hands behind his head and leans back in his chair. Astrid smirks at Chris’ optimism.

Chris: Oh, yeah. It also doesn’t hurt that I’m competing against a top class opponent. Someone that I'm going to have fun fighting. I respect Theron. In fact, I hope our rivalry extends for years to come.

Chris softly laughs and then smirks.

Chris: I like the thought of that. A rival.

Astrid: Yeah, well I hope you apologized for last round.

Chris looks dumbfounded. He sits up and looks at Astrid, who wears a “you are in trouble” face.

Chris: Apologize? For what???

Astrid: Are you kidding me? You used Theron’s finisher, and then you just stared at him. What a douche move! You apologized, right?

Chris scratches his head and looks innocent.

Chris: Uh….

Astrid: WHAT?! CHRISTOPHER K.O.!

Astrid grabs a pillow and starts smacking Chris with it.

Chris: I’m sorry! I didn’t see him in the back after the match. Stop, please!

Astrid ceases the pillow beating.

Chris: Look, after we rolled our stipulations, it’s like I instantly remembered that I was going to have to fight him at Unscripted. We had trashed talked each other back and forth in good fun for most the cycle, but it didn’t get serious until then.

In a match like this, one of the only ways I can get an edge is by mentally asserting myself. I needed to show him that I was not afraid to make the first move. Furthemore, that I was fully capable of executing his finisher. Actually, heh, I kind of liked it.

Astrid rolls her eyes. Chris begins gushing over Theron's move.

Chris: The set up is instant. Theron is a smart man. He’s pocketed a big move that requires little to no setup. The Coconut Smash however-

Astrid: Lame name by the way. Did you just go to a Gilligan’s Island random name generator for it?

Chris glares at Astrid.

Chris: *cough* Ahem. As I was saying, the Coconut Smash takes too much time from the point of attack to impact. At least compared to a move like the Critical Hit. It also requires a keen sense of accuracy. My knee feels damage each time, too. You’d be surprised how thick headed some WZCW superstars are. If one smash doesn’t put my opponent down, it makes me easy prey for a leg submission.

Astrid: So, you are just going to steal his move?

Chris: No, of course not! But it may be worth looking into a variation for the future. With his blessing, of course.

Chris winks. Astrid glares.

Chris: AND AFTER I APOLOGIZE!

Astrid rolls her eyes once again. She follows-up with a yawn this time. She starts crawling back under the covers.

Astrid: What about the other stipulations?

Chris: Fortunately, Theron is a man of character. No finishers and Code of Honour are easy to compete in when your opponent is a man of integrity. There is no need to worry about him trying to cheat or find a loophole.

Astrid yawns again. Chris clicks off the lamp on the desk and then crawls into bed with her. He hugs her from behind.

Astrid: I bet he is saying the same thing about you.

Chris smiles at the compliment. He kisses the side of her face.

Astrid: Hey, Chris.

Chris: Yeah?

Astrid: There's one more thing for you to not worry about.

Chris: What’s that?

Astrid: Win or lose, I’ll be here when you walk out of that arena.

Chris smiles as he hugs Astrid tighter. He rests his head behind hers and closes his eyes.

Chris: I’ll be here, too.

Chris begins to drift back to sleep, but then a few soft words keep him awake.

Astrid: I love you...

Chris nuzzles his nose in the back of Astrid's neck as he smiles.

Chris: I love you, too.

Scene opens to an abandoned old Samurai castle. The property is still mostly intact, including the battlefield within a large Colosseum connected to it. Paintings on the wall depict historical warriors who have done battle there. Many pieces depict the conflict between a Monk of Moonsea named Jing and The Knight of Gold Dragons, a champion of Mystra who was famous for freeing the Lilynoys city-state from an evil sorceress. Theron Daggershield enters a long hallway full of paintings and looks at several of the paintings. He stops at one in particular, as an ominous instrumental begins playing continously through the following scenes.

Theron: They call it one of the most historic examples of having a duel to see who the better man truly was.

He stares at the painting for a moment. Angle zooms in on the painting itself. Jing, clad in traditional martial arts gear, is depicted holding onto a massive spiked ball from a ball and chain as the Knight of Gold Dragons in his shiny golden Platemail has his Falchion and Tower Shield out.

Theron: The iconic clash between Jing the Monk of Moonsea and The Knight of Gold Dragons, right here in northern Moonsea. These two respected each other like no other gladiators of their time. Jing was an interesting one, preferring to fight using that spiked ball instead of traditional weapons and he always kept it with him everywhere he went. Myths say he and The Knight of Gold Dragons became fast friends due to having a common enemy.

He walks to the right and stops when another painting catches his eye. This one depicts Jing and The Knight of Gold Dragons standing side by side, ready to fight. On their left stands a dark haired female Ninja weilding a Shuriken and on their right a blonde Sorceress is seen depcted as if she were casting a spell.

Theron: The Knight of Gold Dragons initially traveled here to Moonsea shortly after his victory over The Hydra Triumvirate to fend off a Sorceress disciple of Lilynoys who tried to overthrow the region of northern Moonsea. This Sorceress had enlisted the help of a Ninja that fought for the deity of tyranny, Bane. Jing had already begun fighting them when The Knight of Gold Dragons arrived, and they joined forces. They say this fight was the first time Jing and The Knight of Gold Dragons teamed up, they successfully defended Moonsea not once, but twice from invasion.

The Warblade finds a similar painting to his right, this one depicting the two brave warriors fighting a Barbarian and a Wizard.

Theron: Ah, yes. This fight has long since been researched. Not even two weeks after their successful victory against the Ninja and Sorceress, the two heroes had to once again team up when a Barbarian and Wizard invaded the land. It was a battle no one thought Jing and The Knight of Gold Dragons could win.... but they overcame those odds, defeating the Wizard and Barbarian, who it turns out were two high ranked Zhentarim generals. Moonsea was safe, and so was the treasure that had been handed down for generations in the dynasty that lived in this castle.

A few seconds pass, and then Theron leans up against the wall looking up into the ceiling. He sighs and the scene transitions with a mosaic animation to footage of the tag team match between Ella Teague and Kaitlyn Onyx against Theron Daggershield and Clovis on Burnup 118. Theron's thoughts can be heard.

Theron: (voice-over) You see Clovis.... you and I are just like Jing and The Knight of Gold Dragons. Teamed up twice in gladiatorial conflict, and going on to win not just once but both of these battles. Our match against Ella Teague and Kaitlyn Onyx bears resemblance to the battle the two heroes had with the Sorceress and Ninja.

Scene transitions with a mosaic animation to footage of the match between The Garmr Dogs against Theron Daggershield and Clovis on Elevation 94. Theron's thoughts can still be heard.

Theron: (voice-over) Then we have our match where we successfully defeated the reigning Gladiatorial Tag Team Champions, The Garmr Dogs. Just like when Jing and The Knight of Gold Dragons defeated the two high ranked Zhentarim Generals, a Barbarian and a Wizard. Clovis, you could be my closest friend in the World Gladiatorial Combat Federation by this point, if you weren't after my Global Championship....

The scene transitions back into the present with another mosaic animation. Theron stands up straight. He walks over to the other side of the hallway to look at a painting depicting a different part of Jing's life, where he fought a dark cloaked figure.

Theron: The similarities in fighting style are not where the comparisons end. Jing defied all odds when he survived a tragic airship crash, and then was nearly killed a second time by an evil dark Zhentarim overlord he failed to overthrow. Clovis, I remember when you too were thought to be dead after a terrible airship accident, and your ill-fated battle against Tiberius Scorch. You were once part of Scorch's legendary Acolytes of Crisis. Jing had once served the Zhentarim empire. The similarities are very much there.

Theron takes out his 20 sided ruby gemstone from his bag of holding and sets it down on a table to his left, with the 20th side facing up.

Theron: When I asked Kaleesta, my most intelligent ally, what the odds are of walking away alive from both of these two incidents were.... She told me the odds of that happening are lower than rolling a 20 on this gemstone twice in a row. Congratulations, Clovis. You rolled a Natural 20. On two separate occassions.

He picks up the gemstone and places it back in his bag of holding.

Theron: No human being is that lucky for a third time, Clovis. I value our friendship, but I value my Global Championship more. I am Mystra's Chosen Champion in the World Gladiatorial Combat Federation. It was decided that you and I will battle for the prestigious Global Championship at the Uncalled For 2015 event, which will be held right here in northern Moonsea in a city named after Jing.

The Global Champion walks past a few more paintings then stops at one that immediately stands out from the others. He looks at it. The Knight of Gold Dragons and Jing of Moonsea are depicted standing in front of a Samurai lord and a cheering crowd.

Theron: Two heroes, but only one could be honored by keeping the treasure. Jing and The Knight of Gold Dragons wanted to see who the better man was so they agreed to have a duel. The Samurai lord decided that it was for the people to vote to determine what type of duel it would be.... either a Samurai's Honor Match, a Use Your Opponent's Weapon Match, or a No Weapons Allowed match. The crowd decided.... the duel stipulation was set.... and Jing lost the battle to The Knight of Gold Dragons.

Theron peeks over at the painting to the left, which shows The Knight of Gold Dragons in front of his treasure, shaking hands with Jing of Moonsea.

Theron: No one living today knows what the stipulation was, only that stories passed down indicate that the stipulation was one voted on by the crowd. The two heroes remained friends afterwards. I hope we will still remain friends afterward as well, Clovis.... because just like Jing in the ancient battle, you're not going to win this one. I am the hero of the people. History is repeating itself as my quest mirrors that of The Knight of Gold Dragons.

This painting was the last one in the hallway. He keeps walking and sees a statue of Jing the Monk of Moonsea. Right next to this statue is a crystalized replica of Jing's spiked ball, sitting on a pedestal.

Theron: It does not matter which of the three stipulations our fans pick. I have been training and practicing in the dojo all week so that I will confidently be able to perform your finisher ability, The Pineapple Bash, on you in case they choose for me to defeat you by using your own finisher against you. I have practiced my grappling and my unarmed strikes in case they vote to ban all finishers in this match. I have researched The Code of the Samurai, in case the fans vote for us to have a Samurai's Honor match. I know I can defeat you in each of these three stipulations.

Scene transitions with a mosaic animation to footage from the match between Theron Daggershield and Clovis from Burnup 112.

Theron: That match could have been so much better.... Despite how the match ended, I got the win that night, and I'm going to win again at Uncalled For. I have leveled up since that fight and now know I can walk into our Championship match withour any fear.

Scene fades back into the present with more mosaic animations. Theron pulls out his 20 sided ruby gemstone again. He goes and rolls it on an empty pedestal next to the one the crystallized spiked ball is on. It lands on a 19.

Theron: The odds are in my favor. I don't have to rely on a Critical Hit or a Limit Break to win. After you took me by surprise by unleashing a Critical Hit on Graven Darksbane at Elevation 94, I began intense training the very next morning training in the dojo to learn how to perform your own finisher, The Pineapple Bash. Not only am I ready for that stipulation if it is chosen, but part of me hopes it does go into effect. I owe you one for you using a Critical Hit. I'll respond to that by retaining my Global Championship after I hit you with a Pineapple Bash, if using the opponent's finisher ends up being our match stipulation. I really should thank you for that one, Clovis. You using my finisher on our opponent resulted in me taking the opportunity to learn a brand new technique to potentially add to my arsenal of maneuvers.

He puts the 20 sided ruby away and then walks over to the crystallized spiked ball.

Theron: Clovis has held my belt once before. There is only one two time Global Champion in the history of the World Gladiatorial Combat Federation. Daniel "The Main Event" Jaguar. I will see to it that it stays that way.

He grabs the crystallized spiked ball.

Theron: I don't want to have to fight you, Clovis, especially after our friendship grew.... Part of me had hoped Jonas House would have gotten the title shot instead. That would make this next part a lot easier as I would not have to enter battle with someone I call a friend....

He takes a deep breath and slowly exhales before speaking again.

Theron: For the last few weeks we were allies, but now we MUST fight. I am the better gladiator. I am the hero the fans need. I pray that our friendship lasts after the match, but my Global Championship is not going anywhere.

Theron looks over at the statue of Jing, while still holding the crystallized spiked ball.

Theron: I'm sorry, Clovis. You passed your Dimplomacy Check, but you failed your Intimidate Check.

He throws the crystallized spiked ball as hard as he can down onto the ground, and it shatters upon impact. Theron stands still looking at the pieces of the broken spiked ball on the floor.

Theron: I'll see you in the ring, my friend. May the best man win.

He walks offscreen as the music stops playing. Fade to black.
