Actually all these new wrestlers go threw this faze. Chris Masters went through it, Khali is as well, this is the same thing for almost everybody.

Also remember that in the 80's that they had a few people like Umaga. Personally I don't like him, but we shall see in the future.

Umaga can move well in the ring, and I also think he works believably stiff. But the real question is to whether or not he can wrestle deep into matches or if he'll just end up tethered to WWE's B-line of permanent midcarders. That's what makes Joe unique. He can pace a long match and tell a hell of a story with the right opponent. Time will tell with Umaga, however. They should stop putting him up against *******s like Eugene and Hacksaw. I love Hacksaw, but he should've retired in 1998. It doesn't lend any street cred to Umaga's camp if he's beating pre-nursing home fogeys.

Well, now we can see Umaga in more matches if they stop just having him attack. We all know Jamal couldn't carry a match by himself...When he was Jamal, he only attacked people with barely any matches until he had to get a new gimmik...well now he has one and hes following his old path of pathetic attacks on older stars (Moolah when he was jamal)...In my opinion, he gets tired too easily and is easily hurt...Joe is in way better shape and will excell while Umaga will die a quick death.

Honestly the only simalirities I see between the two is the fact that they are both Somoan. Gimmiks are differnt, styles are different, overall they are both different.

I was at Backlash, and that Flair/Umaga match was one of the most lame disappointments I've ever seen.

Truthfully, if Umaga is cashing on in on anyone's gimmic its probably Kamala's. Seems like pretty much the same gimmic that guy had a decade ago.

This is crazy! Umaga and Joe are two completely styles, two completely gimmicks, two completely stories.

As someone already mentioned, Umaga will be something temporarily! It wont last long. On the other hand, Joe's future seems brighter after defeating tonite Scott Steiner. Joe's storyline and streak will continue until (very probable) Goldberg kick his ass or Jeff Jarret & company do some cheating.

Umaga the younger brother of rikishi is never going to make it big on his own ( sure he does work on teh stiffer side of the board which i happen to enjoy, but do you really belive that he can go for 20 min and still keep u on the edge of your seat i dont think so but time will tell

Are you talking about TNA? Because I beg to differ. I think their audience is growing more and more every year, especially in the overseas market, ie. their new TV deal with "Player" in the UK and the opening of the TNA Eurostore etc.

Akaine... with all due respect... I just mentioned Goldberg because of his streak in WCW. And based on the fact that Goldberg is going to TNA and knowing how things work in the wrestling, anything is possible.

Wrestling is a business... wrestling is entertainment... Yes, there are better wrestlers than others... yes, there are wrestlers that suck (Cena)! IT'S TRUE... IT'S DAMN TRUE! But you forgot the fact that wrestling is not real!!! Joe is Joe because TNA wants it that way. Goldberg was Goldberg because WCW wanted that way! And if they decide to do that match and give the win to Goldberg... there's nothing we can do 'cause we are not TNA.

The bottom line is that anything can happen. In fact, Jarret can end Joe's streak! Imagine that! But I'm pretty sure that a Golberg / Samoa Joe will be something you'll see on TNA in the near future (if Goldberg finally agrees to go to TNA).

Oh and at last but not least, yes!!! I've been always a huge fan of Bill Goldberg.

I like the way joe wrestles. When he's comimg at you he's seems scary and unstoppable. There aren't a lot wrestlers with his type of aggression right now. The same type of aggression that brock lessner,goldberg, pysco sid and hulk hogan had when he destroyed rocky balboa. That was shocking.

Two completely different characters and styles. Blackhart is right: the best part of Umaga is Armando Alejandro Estrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaadaa. Other than that, Umaga is boring and won't last long.
