Ultimate Warrior passes away

....unless it was self inflicted.

I pray this isn't the case, that'd just f'n kill me. I'm telling myself he finally got his deserved spot in history and it was just his time. I'm glad you got to see him KB, wish I could say I was there. Now I'll never get a chance :(

There's every chance it wasn't. It's entirely possible it's a coincidence. Accidents can happen.

I just listened to his promo on Raw. When he said "Every man's heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breathe its final breath." And, "The spirit of the Ultimate Warrior will live on forever." Now, it sounds like he was trying to say goodbye. Why else would he need to be out there on Raw when he just gave his HoF speech just 48 hours prior.

He was in his early 50's, anything could have happened.

One line that'll live forever, as though he knew it was going to happen.

"The spirit of the Ultimate Warrior will forever run into the hearts of those who believe in him."

I have a feeling that his RAW promo last night will end up being perhaps the most cryptic thing in wrestling history.

This is just too much of a coincidence. I can't fathom this. I just saw him in person barely 24 hours ago.

Rest in peace, Warrior.

Yeah, with this talk of suicide possibility I might believe. His promos on both nights sounded a bit weird, but I didn't think much, since it is Warrior anyways. Just hope it was an accident or something else besides suicide.

A lot of his words over the weekend can be seen now in a different context. Of course we don't know which yet.

The assumption people will make is suicide, just as they have done in the Peaches Geldof case here in the UK... doesn't mean it is the case. Natural causes, accident could all be involved here and to an extent speculating is pretty cruel for the kids.

BUT Warrior was very prominent for the first time in years this weekend, a lot of his words seemed to point to him knowing something we didn't - be that sickness or plans he had and Monday he didn't look good... not when you watch it back, he was blown up badly just from shaking those ropes.

It's the internet, people WILL speculate regardless... I personally hope that this was something he knew about healthwise that "could happen anytime" rather than a choice he made but even then, at least it would have been on his terms.

Seems like the news is real as its broke on most major news sites. Really wish it wasn't true but it seems as if it is.

RIP Ultimate Warrior, he was my favorite guy from 1988-1996, and still one of my all time favorites and maybe one of the reasons I'm a wrestling fan today.

Just a few links if there OK to post;

Also tweets from Stephanie Mcmahon, JR, and many other wrestlers.

Here's the thing: yes the speech does sound like something someone might say before they're about to die.

They also sound like someone a big star might say in one of his first appearances on national television in over 15 years when he's being honored and given a spotlight in front of a crowd cheering for him. That speech very easily could have been him saying goodbye before riding off into retirement. Don't jump to conclusions just yet.

....Holy shit. I'm in total shock and just can't believe it. I won't speculate as to what happened but this is very sad.

R.I.P. Warrior. :(

I agree with this.
We have no idea what happened yet.

By all accounts Macho Man seemed fine when he died.

Things unexpectedly happen.

Sure the timing is weird but we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

What we do know is that he seemingly got to make amends with some people before he passed. That's great. He got to see how much people still cared about him before he passed.

Let's not jump on the suicide wagon just yet folks, reports are coming out that it is natural causes.

Vince McMahon Comments on The Ultimate Warrior Passing, Natural Causes Reported
By Marc Middleton
Apr 9, 2014 - 12:31:52 AM

- Vince McMahon tweeted the following about The Ultimate Warrior's death:

"We are all so sad that the Ultimate Warrior has passed away. Our heart is with his wife Dana and his two daughters."

Details are still unknown in regards to how Warrior passed away but word going around is that it was from natural causes.

I literally spent the last 3 hours watching his DVD, and the first thing I see when I hop on the internet is that he died. I cannot believe it.

If Warrior had still been in "exile", it would have been sad and everything, but for it to happen a day after this weekend is just unbelievable. I mean, I'm glad he got to at least experience this weekend's events, but it just makes it all the more eery.

I was a massive fan of the guy when I was a kid, and I felt very nostalgic seeing so much coverage of him the last few days. It's very hard to believe he's now dead. Just very weird, and very, very sad.

I'm no doctor but I don't know of many terminal diseases that leave you able to look perfectly fine, make a few speeches, endure WrestleMania and Raw in general not two days before you die.

I have to think there was an accident of some sort or the sudden onset of some kind of heart disease/aneurysm or the like. Whatever it was, absolutely tragic and shocking that it happened so soon after his induction into the Hall.

The man was on my television screen a little more than 24 hours ago. To say I was shocked would be an understatement.

Rest in peace.

Another possibility: this weekend was too much on him and his heart couldn't handle it.

There are so many questions we don't have answers to yet but they'll come out in due time.

Oh my, Peaches is dead? I hadnt heard about this over here in the us! last I heard of her was her involvement in the Ian Watlkins debacle,

what a horrendous year so far in terms of deaths, rip to everyone and their families.

Peaches Geldof was 25-years-old and last year made headlines for being kicked out of a London nightclub for snorting cocaine though. Big difference here, although her death is also sad.

Warrior was 54-years-old, there are a ton of reasons he could have died. He wasn't looking in the best shape on Raw or at the Hall of Fame, multiple people made the observation he seemed, "blown up" from just walking to the ring.

He himself made a joke about being blown up just from doing his speech.
