The title says it all. Who would you put in a WarGames match to make it the best of all time. You can use anyone from WWE, ECW, WCW, or TNA. Assume everyone is in their prime.

Team 1
Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista, Kevin Nash

Team 2
The Rock, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Goldberg, John Cena

I think this would make for an incredible match. Team 1 has members from DX, Evolution, Four Horsemen, and NWO. They represtent the four greatest stables in wrestling history. Team 2 is made up of some of the biggest stars in wrestling history. As great as both teams are, I think Team 1 would pull out the win.

So what 10 guys would you put into a WarGames match to make it the greatest ever?

I have two scenarios that immediately sprung to mind.

1.

TEAM ONE: Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Triple H.

TEAM TWO: Bret Hart, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart, Brian Pillman.

With the history of the Kliq and the Hart Foundation, it just makes so much sense. It would also sell like those things that sell better than hot cakes.

Hookers, I think it is.

2.

TEAM ONE: Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, AJ Styles, Randy Savage

TEAM TWO: Kurt Angle, Ultimo Dragon, Mr. Perfect, CM Punk, Ricky Steamboat

This was relatively random, in the sense that they have no built-in alliances. However, I think the teams match up well and the athletes on each team have things in common.

On team one, you have grace, with more of an aggressive, fast-paced edge. On team two, you have some aggression, with more of a graceful mentality. Simple matches sense, in that regard.

Also, if you take wrestler 1, and wrestler 1a from each team, you see great match ups. However, I wouldn't mind just a regular 5 on 5 with these ten wrestlers. The first set of teams would make more sense with the WarGames format.

I think for the best War Games match of all time, you need to have some of the most well-rounded wrestlers of all time, capable of working any style and against any of the opponents.

For that reason I would look at putting together a team like this.

Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, The Rock and AJ Styles

Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Triple H, Chris Jericho and Undertaker


Within this match you have some great rivalries

Shawn v Bret, Shawn v HHH, Shawn v Undertaker, Angle v Y2J, Lesnar v Undertaker, Rock vs Triple H, Y2J vs Shawn, Rock vs Jericho.

Each team has a power wrestler in Lesnar and Undertaker, a high-flyer in Styles/HBK and Jericho, great technical wrestlers in Angle and Hart/Jericho, well rounded wrestlers in Rock and Flair/Y2J.

I could see this being a bloody brawl. We have all seen Flair, Michaels, HHH and Undertaker wear the crimson mask, and in War Games this is only to be expected. All of these guys have been in cage matches before, some have been in the Hell In The Cell and Elimination Chamber so they know what War Games is going to be like.

I could not even to begin suggesting who would win, and what order they would be eliminated in. This really would be a match for the ages with some of the greatest of all time in the ring at the same time.

I would pay BIG money to see this match take place if all of the guys were in their primes. It would be a CLASSIC.
