The UFC returns to FX this Saturday with an explosive card, this one should be a ton of fun, and that's no bullshit. We get to see a pivotal Welterweight fight between two exciting guys, as well as the beginning of the unofficial Flyweight tournament to crown the first champion in the UFC's history at that weight class.

The main event will pit to heavy hitters against each other in a fight that will keep the winner relevant and could have dire consequences for the loser and their hopes at ever getting a title shot. Kampmann is one of the most technical strikers, and well rounded fighters, in the entire WW division. His opponent, Thiago Alves, is no slouch either. I expect this one to be an all out war on the feet, but it could honestly go anywhere and be just as exciting. My money is on Kampmann taking a close decision.

The Flyweight division comes to the UFC and in awesome fashion. Four very talented fighters will compete to see who will get put in the title fight somewhere in the near future. Ian McCall is widely regarded as the best Flyweight in the world and he will put that hype to the test when he faces the always fast and exciting Demetrious Johnson. In the other fight Joseph Benavidez takes on another highly touted Flyweight in Urushitani. I don't know much about these guys, but I am excited as hell to see them in action.

Court McGee will take on Philippou in a big fight for the TUF winner. He looks to keep his undefeated UFC record just that way. It won't come easy against the heavy handed Philippou, but McGee should win.

The undercard will feature a heavy hitting fight between Rosa and Te Huna. Perosh, Miller, and Noke also look to keep their UFC careers on track on Saturday, and all usually are involved in entertaining fights. It's going to be a good night.

Martin Kampmann is going to dominate Thiago Alves. This fight is basically one of the most underrated fighters in the WW Division vs. one the of the most overrated. Kampmann is a very good striker with very, very good grappling, while Alves is a mediocre striker with a lot of power for his weight class. Kampmann should easily win the striking exchanges, and he should be able to grapplefuck Alves if he chooses to. Alves will have his moments because he doesn't completely suck and Kampmann does leave himself open at times, but overall this should be a convincing win for Kampmann. Hopefully it turns out to be a slugfest.

I'm really hoping Yasuhiro Urushitani can become a serious threat at 135. The UFC needs another great Japanese fighter and this guy can definitely be it. He's very talented, exciting, and dare I say good looking, lol. He's going up against though, in my opinion, the 2nd best fighter in the division in Joseph Benavidez, so he has no easy task ahead of him for his first fight in the UFC. I'm hoping for the best, though. Should end up being an awesome, awesome fight.

And I couldn't care less about anything else on this card.

Kampmann/Alves should be a great fight. Kampmann is very underrated and is very rarely talked about when looking over the current crop of Welterweight talent. The guy always comes to fight and he's damn good at it as well with great grappling and underrated striking. A problem I see him having is that he does tend to get hit quite a bit and against a guy with the power of Alves, that isn't the best thing he can do. Hopefully, he is improving that hole in his game and if he does that, he should beat Alves around the cage mixing up strikes and takedowns. Alves' ground game sucks so i'm looking for Kampmann to exploit that.

JMT, Urushitani is a Flyweight, not a Bantamweight and now, Benavidez is also a Flyweight. I don't know much about Urushitani, but I know enough to realize that this should be a great fight.

My fucking man, Uncle Creepy is making his debut! In a time where so many people complain about the lower weight classes not finishing fights and the fighters having no personality, it's great to see somebody like McCall come in. The guy is such a good story and is so fucking funny, not to mention he comes in to finish the fight and does so very well. He's up against a very tough opponent in Mighty Mouse, but i've got faith. I'm calling McCall with the upset.

I'm so excited about the addition of Flyweights. It's no secret that I love the lower weight classes and I cannot wait to see the amazing fights these guys will undoubtedly have.

Got a lot more enjoyment from this card than I expected, between the killer main event and the Flyweight tourney semis it was a great start to the month. My boy TJ Waldburger racked up another awesome submission win against Jake Hecht, he's been puttin on good performances but he really needs a step up in competition, I say give him the winner of Paul Sass if he gets past Jacob Volkmann.

Noke got knocked off by a guy who looks like a Clay Matthews or Thor wannabe but oh we'll, he's gone downhill.

Steven Siler knocked off his second set of fighter brothers when he took out Cole Miller. I was impressed that he pulled off this one, I mean Micah was tough enough but Cole was a big step up and he dominated for the most part.

Don't care about Perosh, beat a nobody.

Good win for Te Huna, guy is pretty beastly and he wrecked Rosa.

Court McGee losing put a smile on my face, nothing against him but he bores the shit out of me as a person and as a fighter. Phillippou has become a pretty entertaining and somewhat relevant MW with his last few wins, I'm still smiling from his Hamman KO. Hope we get to see him finish more guys and get some tougher opponents because I'm liking him.

Benavidez is a beast, god that guy was scary enough at Bantam but he's gonna tear shit up at 125. He dominated that fight and didn't give us any reason to doubt him in the finals.

McCall vs Johnson, what a goddamn fight. I have so much respect for those two guys, McCall would have taken it had they gone to sudden victory but Johnson was right there with him most of the time. I was mosty blown away that Uncle Creepy didn't let Demitrious even get one TD, after seeing Johnson against guys like Yamamoto and Torres I thought he'd get some for sure. As much as I hate how many rematches we've been subjected to recently this is one I'm up for. McCall takes round 2 of their story.

Kampmann, this is why I love the guy. Getting beat by a wrecking machine like Thiago Alves and instead of leaving it to the judges where he always seems at more of a disadvantage than anyone he slaps on the Guillotine and takes it home, so happy for him. It's also a sad story for Alves, why the fuck did he go for a TD?
