Following the controversial interview with the Ottawa Sun last week, Carlito is said to have “nuclear heat” on him backstage. The initial reaction was to send him on a permanent vacation to Heat and let him fade away. Carlito even expected to be fired over the weekend. They probably won't let him go, but they certainly scared him off of saying much in future interviews.

Last week, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin was also paranoid about being fired. Apparently, someone backstage convinced him to do a major rib on JBL, who already hates Miz and has a well-known reputation as a bully. No more details about this one yet.

Miz first - Everyone knows what a bully JBL can be, and the fact that he holds a fair bit of sway with Vince. Vince loves JBL, so mouthing off about him can only be a bad thing.

Carlito - As much as I would have liked to see both Carlito and Flair in the show at wrestlemania (not counting their dark match), We all know you don't mouth off the way he did. I for one would hate to see Carlito totally buried though, but I do see him going back to being a jobber for a while.

Will they bury him down in Heat?? What will happen, if anything, with Miz??

Thoughts? ? ?

With the Miz he's trying to fit in and prolly one of the vets urged him to pull a rib on JBL and well that wasn't a smart thing to do but hes a noob there so he has to listen to all the vets. I think Miz be ok for now in the mean time i mean picking up a win over Benoit this past week look ok in his favor. just as long he doesn't pull any more dumb stuff backstage against JBL he be ok if not he ass is gone.

Now dealing with Carlito him mouthing off for me was a way to get out of the WWE i think. I mean putting Carlito on Heat wont hurt him much as he is still over with the fans. He wants to be heel and Carlito needs to understanding you work with what the gimmick your given. When you look back at him he was heel it was just the fans starting to hceer and like him so WWE made him face. I think if WWE can make Carlito a tweener then he be ok. But he will pay for mouthing off as jobber i see and nothing good for him in a long time.

As WWE be crazy to let Carltio go i mean TNA would be all over Carlito in a heartbeat and i think WWE knows that so i see Carlito keeping his job with them

I agree completely. It's common knowledge that Carlito is unhappy in his current gimmick, no matter how far over he is with the fans. I would hate to see him go as he has the potential to be really good.

I would love to see The Miz in a decent program with somebody. If he was put with someone who can teach him his way around the ring, I think he could be somewhat of a draw. Believe it or not, I actually like The Miz's gimmick. I just hope now he learns to keep his mouth shut, otherwise politics will kill any hope he has.

The Miz did show some ok skills against Benoit this week. i think if they do a short Kennedy and Finley fued and looks like they want Finley as the face then after the Kennedy and Finley feud do a Miz and Finley i mean if Finley cant teach him how to work then no one can.

Carlito: Good riddance. Sure you have some skills. But does anyone really care about Carlito? Has he really done anything to merit anyone care about him? It's clear he has no heart for the business and it's clear if something doesn't go his way he's the type to whine and complain about it forever (or pull a Bret Hart, as I like to call it.... but anyway). That's the last thing the WWE needs. Let him rot on heat until his contract ends, then no one will remember him when he signs with TNA and it'll be more money wasted for them.

Miz: I don't know what's up with this... if he was in the doghouse he wouldn't have beaten a champion, yet alone Chris Benoit this week. There's something more to this story. But either way, I liked what I saw of him on Friday. He's better than what people think of him. And he's good at working the crowd, everyone has to admit that.

Carlito has lost his passion for WWE and them burying him is the right thing to do. He's done nothing but mouth off about the business and he didn't deserve to wrestle at WrestleMania. I don't think WWE should even think twice of releasing him.

Miz shouldn't be fired for what JBL says about him. Unless every top guy complains, like 'Taker, Benoit, Booker, AND JBL, then he does have a problem. I think they should give the guy a fair chance to improve even more in the ring because he has some talent.

Well put, it sums Carlito up perfectly. He only has himself to balme for being buried.

Again, I stand by what I said about The Miz. I like the guy, I believe he has some talent and want to see him go in a program with someone who can really teach him to wrestle. I agree with drofthuganomics - if Finlay can't teach him his way around the ring, noone can.

I could'nt care about either. The Miz has lasted longer than I thought.

And Carlito is a waste of space. He would be in an upper mid card position if he made more of an effort. They had him defeat golden boy Cena on his first night for the US title. Surley that mean's they originally had plans for him. He's been in WWE for nearly 2 and a half year's and I cant name anything memorable he's done.

Carlito's interview was probably done out of Frustration because he views Ric Flair as a legend that deserves to be on the Card at Wrestlemania, If that was his point then he has a right because i certain that this match between Carlito and Flair will get over with the Fans, As to him being unhappy with his gimmick I hae read on the main Wrestlezone section a quote about Taker saying that he was stuck with that gimmick for a while so, its not that much of a strain to see how you can work with a "crappy" gimmick that can get you the respect of thousands of Wrestling fans. I think Carlitos attitude in the ring is based on his unhappiness with the direction that his Gimmick is going. This is where they should have guys like HBK and Ric Flair and Taker talk to him about it and try to get the best out of him.

As for the Miz I don't think that they would fire him yet, I just don't like his gimmick or his hair, If he was put up to it by older members of the roster then it seems like it was just for a bit of fun. As if JBL can talk about this as an insult to him. Both Taker and JBL were throwing stuff at Michael Cole on the Trip over to Iraq, this is actually documented in the Videos from the Cole report's second episode so it can't have been much worse then pelting a colleague with stuff on camera.

Carlito doesn't interest me anymore so I don't really care if he's gone.
However I like the Miz. I think the veteran was trying to get Miz in JBL's good books but it went completely wrong. Miz has improved, at Friday he lokked alot more focused against benoit as if he was fighting for his job.

Miz has potential. I don't think this will hurt him too much.

Carlito isn't as valuable as some people think he is. While he has charisma, Tna has plenty of talent and I don't think they would be jumping at him if he was released. He's going to be a jobber for a while, so hopefully he can ride out this storm without permanent damage.

Both of them are a waste of air space. Miz is undersized and we all know how well the WWE treats its cruiserweights. I don't even think he's that entertaining on the mic either.

Carlito has been sucking air time for well over a year now. He was in the dog house long before his rant. He is in the same boat as Randy Orton, they both think because they are multiple generation wrestlers that they deserve to be in big spots. Sure they have a knowledge of the business most don't, but they also have to earn their spots. Carlito's attitude cost Ric Flair at WM spot. Carlito screwed Carlito.

Both could jump to TNA and not cause a ripple in the water. Kurt Angle wasn't enough to draw the attention of fringe wrestling fans, I doubt an under achiever like Carlito would draw one additional person.

Honestly TNA jumps at any chance to get a popular WWE guy. HELL THEY ARE GIVING THE BASHAMS JOBS AND THEY NEVER GOT OVER. I love TNA, I even spent my birthday money on house show tickets for them over WWE tickets, but they would give Carlito a job as soon as his no compete expired.

It is sad because I am a big Carlito mark. As cliche and snobby as it is to say this, they just didn't use the guy right. He was a pretty good heel, and has a lot of in ring talent. So much potential buried. But I don't think he would voluntarily leave for TNA because his ego wants to be on the biggest stage possible.

The Miz is a joke that is far beyond green. Pissing off a veteran in the back with as much power as JBL is not going to do him much good and so while I don't think much will come about as a result of that joke he played, it certainly will not put him in very good stead with some people who matter in the back, which is never a good thing.

Carlito has been skating on thin ice since he started getting fed up with the WWE and just stopped caring. That was the first step he took wrongly and these interviews and comments against the WWE certainly aren't helping. He is too popular to just be fired although at the rate he is going, he certainly doesn't have much time left. He certainly doesn't deserve to be stuck in crappy gimmicks in crappy storylines but he doesn't deserve to be rewarded for mouthing off against the WWE. He has got to learn to just keep working like all the veterans have through the tough times. It's his own fault that he is in the doghouse and he is basically going to lock that door for good if he doesn't shape up. I wouldn't put it past the WWE to just fade Carlito out until no one remembers him because that would be the only way I see them firing Carlito. He certainly doesn't have many friends and hasn't really improved with his attitude lately so I think his days are numbered until he is put on Heat or just not put on TV much, but he shouldn't be fired too soon.

Hes only saying what everyone else is thinking, sure he shouldnt be rewarded but its the writers and decision makers who should be gettin punished not him.

Carlito is an absolute a hole. He came to Australia for an autograph signing and was the most arrogant person I have ever met. Didnt shake hands, didnt talk, didnt allow photos and I was the guy that was backstage helping him. The only question he asked me was there any nice ladies in the crowd, to which my reply was, not to see you, your ones are the 15 year olds. Not only did he diss me but everyone around us. He was terrible to work with and very unprofessional, he thought he was the whole show coming down under. Matt Striker however who accompanied him was a real gem, posed and laughed and made heaps of kids smile. Same goes for Edge, Lita, Cena, Trish and Kurt Angle. Carlito needs to earn the respect of the business and its fans and stop thinking he is a hogan or austin. In my opinion I think he is a great in ring talent but as for attitude, he stinks and thats what matters in the end.

I caught an interview of Carlito on a Univision sports show last nite and he said he was looking into a deal with AAA. Maybe making less money and not being held back fron flying might make him better later on in his life.

I just don't see how people see Carlito as a main eventer. His ability isn't really impressive and his cool gimmick can only go so far. IMO the WWE isn't the place for him.

I honestly think that Shockmaster put it best...Carlito thinks WWE owes him the world because heis a second generation wrestler. There is an old saying "Your child may be an honor student, but your still and idiot" , and it follows in wrestling as well, your father may be a legend, but no one gives a shit about you anymore. Carlito is a whiny little punk, and maybe this will be the beginning of the end..I say, go to TNA, not like anyone watches that anyways.

As far as Miz, obivously they didn't say who put him up to the rib..for all we know, it could have been Taker, which is why, even tho JBL got pissed, nothing was done about it. I was impressed with Miz against Benoit, like I said in another thread, he looked better than Cena did at Wrestlemania. Maybe the time has come, Miz has learned his lessons, and will get a decent push...HOO-RAH!!!!

The Miz well I kinda don't have much to say about him. I really don't care about him that much I think he should get another gimmick or something but he isn't that very entertaining on the mic though if he didn't have the HOO-RAH thing he might of had been gone along time ago or something. Maybe he should go back to Real World or the Inferno or something and chill with them people. He still has some talent maybe put him in some more matches or something lol.

For Carlito though, I have really lost respect for the man. It seem's that he doesn't care anymore and I think that promo that Flair did on Carlito was 100% true. He doesnt have love for the business hes like on chill mode every week in a way while other guys like Edge and Hardyz and even guys on Smackdown and ECW bust their ass more and work harder then Carlito. I'am glad that he wasn't at WrestleMania23 to me he didn't earn it enough to be there live and the storylines and gimmicks with him is crap right now. I remember something saying that he isn't happy with the gimmick that he has and he doesn't like being babyface but the thing is if he was made heel again would he do better? I think not really he is taking up space at the moment and guys like Kenny or other people could be doing better then him. Carlito seem's to be over with the fans pretty good at the moment but I don't know if putting him on Heat would make a change. He's mouthing alot though and I wouldn't wanna see him go over again with someone like Flair if they was to have a match again in the future. Flair has more dedication for the business then Carlito does but if they do keep him for awhile I don't see him going really far but being a jobber. His attitude sucks when I met him I asked him for a autograph and he said brb I gotta use the bathroom and when he never showed back up lol that happen with Orton before when I met him but at another scene. Anyways I could kinda care less about Carlito his ring skills are not terrible but mouthing off and relaxing isn't gonna help you get to where you wanna be.

I really hope Carlito gets fired. Hes boring in the ring, shows no passion and like a previous poster said hes a a right arrogant little shite. Ive met him before and hes such a rude nob. The way he looks at you as if he automatically thinks hes better than you. Its strange because when I met Randy Orton I expected him to be like that but hes not. Randy seemed a pretty nice guy answering questions and posing for pictures.

As for The Miz....hes surprisingly impressed me. Not enough for me to be bothered if he gets fired though. I think they should bung him over to OVW for a few months so he improves in the ring and bring him back without the irritain gimic.

Ha says the guy with John Cena in there sig, if Cena can be a main eventer anyone can. Carlito is been victimised and singled out because he wont kiss Vinces arse like Cena, and Lashley. Carlito is an OK wreslter as i have already said, and hes ok on the mic. His current gimmick isnt working so he said so, i dont know why everyone is crying over it 2bh. And miz who actualy even cares...

Yeah well the last two guys who had atomic heat RVD and CM Punk are doing pretty well right now. So all it means is they need to wheater the storm.
