C-Man

Dark Match Jobber
I've been watching ECW for the pat three weeks and I have three complaints:

1. Lack of continuity- Tarot Card reader dropped, means of young stars, superstars are not jumping to ECW.

2. Same Format- Sabu Squash, Sandman squash, and Kelly's stripping. Already geeting old.

3. New storylines: Only seems like 5 superstars get their own storylines. Means of Old ECW faces?

Do You Agree? Should ECw be two hours?

Agree with you the show is too short and is becoming repetative

Format for next week's ECW show:

1.Good opening match
2.commercial
3.vampire in parking lot
4.kelly backstage tease
5.sandman squash
6.commercial
5.kelly stripping
6.heyman pumping up the ecw locker room
7.wwe guy squashing ecw guy
8.commercial
9.start of Main event
10.commercial
11.finish of main event

YES 100%! Once their ratings go up to like a 2.5, maybe Sci-Fi will give em' 2 hours, or maybe another network will offer them 2 hours of time.

Every week we see a Sandman squash match, Kelly waste 5-10 minutes, and a "wrestling main event". They do have great main events, but they belong on Raw or Smackdown, not ECW.

I think you just about nailed the format for the next ECW show. Throw in a few more commercials and you'll have it for sure.

It works both ways. Two hours would be great, because maybe we'll get to see the classic ECW style on display. Then again, two hours could mean that they really drag out stupid angles like the one with Kelly, and spend even more time on other ****s that can't strip or dance and maybe a few other silly gimmicks.

Where the hell are Francine, CW Anderson, Mikey Whipwreck, Joel Gertner, Axl Rotten, Steve Corino, etc.? Spots that could be going to them are being wasted by the likes of Kelly and Mike Knox (I gave them a chance - sorry, not impressed) - by promoting people like this, the show is becoming less like ECW and more like the WWE "C" Show. If it is Heyman's fault, it's a shame that he's trying to push the "sports entertainment" envelope instead of just leaving well enough alone. Not that I don't want to see ECW evolve and introduce new talent - I was just hoping for wrestlers that fit in with ECW's mission statement instead of talentless tarts and prototypical big guys. If I wanted that, I would just turn on SmackDown! or Raw.

Mike Knox and Kelly are the new ECW's first storyline, and its Heyman's storyline so eh..I know everyone is expecting everything to instantly be the glorydays of ECW. But realistically the likelihood of that happening is pretty slim. I mean there are issues of rust and a lack of recent practice to address, the need to work with and develop new talent, and an attempt to cater to the core as well as appealing to a broader audience.

I think a two hour show would if nothing else prevent us from seeing the squash matches. I get the impression they are put in there to get some guys in the ring so there are three matches a night. With commercials, promos, storylines and "prevues" you don't really have time for much more than 2 matches an hour. I think if you had two hours you could probably make the second match 5 minutes longer, make it less one sided and spread the non-wrestling through two hours. But we'll see.
